This one was a small one but still one of the best grocery store

Almost zero paper products available TODAY, AND many times when I visit this store...it is kind of a very sad old, old store...very small but has THE FRIENDLIEST CLERKS OF ANY GROCERY STORE IN THE OC...Especially Mechelle!!💜She is always so sweet and helpful!! With so little space, it seems like they have a tough time staying stocked on things...Almost nothing on the Gatorade like sports drink shelves either...rows and rows of empty shelves, today!!!

Safe place to park your car. Very spacious and well lit parking lot. Its all open and outside the market.

Nice clean store, friendly and helpful employees. Lots of sales and online coupons. I always check for the coupons. Variety of produce and products. Large parking spot. Overall good store. Also they have money orders on check stand 4.

I really like this grocery shop located near our place because they offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables! And what I like about this shop is that they always make sure that they display the new ones. Highly recommended especially if you are looking for fresh goods!

Cashier went out of her way to ask someone to check the back for more of a product I wanted to purchase. Employees there are super friendly. Someone stocking yogurt made small talk with me as did the checker. So great in a time when we cant even see each others expressions. A little human touch goes a long way.

Stater brothers is fantastic, but this location is in need of some renovation. All we wanted was a delicious sandwich from the deli. But this location has no deli.

Best, most economically priced meat around. Theyll cut what ever weight you need, and theyll tie roasts! Plus, they have really good chorizo! What sets them apart is theres usually a certified butcher there!

I was having a great experience in the store until the manager Joe ( they wouldn’t give me his last name) became involved because we gathered everything we need to take food to my wife in the hospital. But Joe refused to allow me to use my EBT card that was stolen even though I had a picture of both sides of the card, my id validate it was my card, the PIN number, and the expiration date, and even though every other grocery store understood what I was going through and it was clearly my card and could not be confused for fraud . Joe would rather let my family starve in the middle of a pandemic than find a way to help us . I’m very disappointed and will make sure I share my experience with everyone I know, it’s sad that people would really do that to other people with the state of the world we live in right now😞

No deli!!!! Huge disappointment, I thought they all had one, guess not. The smallest Stator Bros Ive seen yet as well, looks like it hasnt been renovated since the 70s

It was pretty good but they seem to be replacing brand name items with their own way to much. Almost every time I go I am over charged by one item! I now sit in the car and go over my receipt b4 leaving.

Open early for early birds and open late for night owls! Always a great selection, always stocked! They pass out masks at the door. Never crowded, huge parking lot! Very convenient location! They carry Vegan products as well!

This place need to get shut down none of the staff are friendly everyone’s on edge and very rude Every time you walk in there Store they stare makes shopping uncomfortable I am a man of money and travel the world as a photographer and model I don’t appreciate the managers I remember I was standing outside of a sidewalk next to their property and they complain to me saying I was asking for money when I never was I just rolled with it to see what they do and they were very mean I’m scared to even wait for the bus on the side of their store because all they do is come at people if your standing around you guys need to be more friendlier and less creepy

I shop here all the time. Its a small store but dont let that fool you. Very well stocked, friendly employees, super clean store, everyone wearing masks and social distancing. I highly recommend.

This is a small store, with no bakery or deli, and limited products. Typically, there are only two checkout lanes which makes for long lines. The produce, however, is amazing

I never really cared for this Market. Mind you it is a good store, they have good items good produce Etc however its always been extremely difficult and very uncomfortable when entering the store -- to really get in the store because of the layout. And also because the stores on a smaller scale They dont carry a lot of the same simple items that some of the bigger stores carry obviously. What you will find in the meat department if you are Keen enough to get a hold of the meat department manager they are still very equally happy and willing and certainly able to cut your meat the way you like it to get you what you need. Its unfortunate to see now that due the shortage of people who are working due to the covid-19 theyre hiring people who really just need a paycheck but not happily willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done they just pretty much show up and unless you push them to call a department manager because you want something done it doesnt happen. Mind you the store that has all of its original long-term employees in there are really fabulous people and they do a great job. Its the newbiesso to speak that really need some polishing and work. I still find that this property is an opportunity missed so to speak, because they could really make it so much more enjoyable if they just change the layout and made it a little bit more user-friendly. Their shopping carts are old theyre way too big and it makes it very hard to turn the corners in the store because they have lots of long narrow aisles.It does have that retro, vintage, feel to it because of the original old Stater Brothers sign that you see out in the parking lot. It would be a great upgrade to the now existing design to play up on that retro vintage original style and really work on the layout when you enter the store in addition to shopping in this store. At any rate if you need some place to go to get meat Because they REALLY do have a great meat case, good meat cutters😄 and Basics and Sundries this is still a good store. I would choose this store over Vons anyday by virtue of the fact that every time Ive gone to Vons 99.9% of the time theres always one Checker or another complaining about something in their life or how much thet hate being there and complaining to you while theyre checking you out which when Im at a grocery store the last thing I want to hear about is how hard their day has been.

Staters is a good store for the neighborhood of East side....but they need to have ALL checkstands manned between 11am -3pp.Lines go down aisles as it is and you cant shop on those aisle without social distancing.Good meat and butcher shop.

This is an older smaller Stater Bros. They still have great produce and meat counter but the aisles are very narrow and limited check out.

Other than being small and out of a couple items for a while now, its a convenient location for us to quickly stop in!

Your standard, slightly smaller, neighborhood supermarket. Staffed by hard working folks, they do their best to take care of you and do thier best. They may be missing some products the bigger stores have, but they still have a lot to choose from. Still has a full butcher shop in the back too.

My favorite store

This is a small but mighty Stater Bros. I took one star away only because I am forced to buy some meats from either other locations or other companies (specifically low sodium bacon and sugar free sausage) and because typically the wait is a little longer (despite having great cashiers sometimes they just get backed up when Im there). I do really like all the staff because they are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it is especially if you just need mainstream items.

A big parking lot. I like to stop here as a pit stop before arriving to a local jobs. Its a ghetto looking store in a nice neighborhood. 1

This is kind of like going to a corner market or fancy liquor store.There is a good selection but there is no proper deli or special foods area. Also kudos on having a healthy gluten free section.I guess what Im trying to say is its a good stop when you need the basics :-)

Cheap prices, friendly staff, plenty of parking, just rode my bicycle to the store and when i arrived i realized my bike lock wasnt with me.. There is no way i could leave ot outside unlocked in costs mesa.. Stephanie, a very helpful stater bros employee, tolf me she would guard it while i ran in and out for 1 item. That was a first for me, an employee goes out of her way to assist me, thank you Stephanie!!!! (I was so surprised and comforted. I had to write this before i left.)

Have gone to this market for a number of years now. Always clean people always friendly. Things are always easy to find and if not you can ask them to help you.

My favorite Stater Bros. Its smaller than the others, which makes it easier to navigate. This location doesnt have everything a larger store does, but theres enough for my regular weekly shopping. I like how fast I can get my shopping done here.

We usually go to the Stater Brothers thats on Baker and Fairview, but this visit was less crowded than any other time weve been to the Newport Blvd location. We enjoyed the cleanliness, ease of parking, and the helpfulness of the staff!Thanks for an enjoyable visit!

The produce employees know what they are talking about and will SHOW you how to pick out the best vegetables and fruits. I have been shown and taught how to pick out an artichoke and ginger. I LOVE learning and they were willing to help!

The manager humiliated me and I was appalled with service plus the aisles are so.small you can barely move your own car in a different direction.
