I use to shop here all the time for groceries. Its very convenient. Friendly staff. But the past few years, prices are very high across the board.

The meat is good and there is almost always some kind of special. The fruits and veggies are so so. Not the best quality but its available when in a pinch. The tomatoes I do like though because even if they are extra ripe, I use them immediately for salsa or carne guisada. The hot food though is great. I love the carnitas and the chicharon. I also like their champurado.

Neat little carniceria market. Great meat dept. Ceviche, real crema, and pico de Gallo. Can buy Oaxaca cheese by the pound too.

This is a no-frills a grocery store with great produce, including a wide selection of figs including plantains,bananas, and burros and they always have a wide selection of lemons and limes at great prices. They also have a prepared food section nestled next to the butcher where you can pick up tonights dinner. Chicharrones are also available which I have yet to try but theres always great interest. Theres not much in selection as far as pantry items go. The brands lean more towards those found in the southern part of the continent. I mostly come here for the produce and for the great salsa music that they have playing in the background. It adds a nice touch. The cashiers have barriers. Ask for the Corona...They wear gloves and everyones social distanced; markers are on the floor and everyone is required to wear masks. All the baskets and carts actually I dont think they have carts but all the baskets are sanitized. They also take Google pay. Its in a strip mall so theres plenty of parking!

Dont buy produce or meat to cook Mexican food at a regular grocery store but it here. Cant beat the quality of the produce and meat and at a fraction of the cost. Also the fresh salsa and guacamole is delicious and cheap.

Cheapest avocados, biggest variety of mangoes, same for tortillas in all thier manifestations, and if you crave carnitas, they have the best in town.

This is one of my favorite groceries.Really nice produce at really reasonable prices. Fresh tortillas, crazy selection meat counter with really affordable meat cuts... I get inspired to cook whenever I go! People at the deli counters are really friendly as well.Ive seen people heading to bbqs with pounds of marinated meat, and I hope to do that at some point, too.

This Mexican grocery store has good produce and meat and a wide variety of both. Stellar selection of dried peppers. Brisk and efficient staff and... great prices. So basically everything you need, in a convenient location with lots of parking. Try the marinated chicken, it’s great!

This specific store in costa mesa. Is the worse found some. Fruit with mold. It was gross went to get some meat and it had a really strong smell one of the packed meat was green in one side . I dont know how. The pass the the city inspection

Best ceviche!

I went looking for nutmeg- found it in a clear and organized hanging spice area cheaper than expected (3~4 in a pack for $1) Came back with several othewr items. Clean and friendly staff. Bilingual. Looking forward to trying the fresh pico de gallo. The pan dulce section was not huge but still had a few varieties even at the very end of the day. Thank you. Will be back.

I found many cooking tools and specialty ingredients to cook authentic Mexican dishes. Im only giving 3 🌟 s because items are over priced. I got sweet bread here at 2 for$1.00 to try and one bolillo. Mest say they were very fresh and good. Will definately consider returning.

Pretty extensive offerings from dry goods to produce to meat. Terrific salsa options and prepared food. Beer is generic, but thats to be assumed. Really probably everything you need out of a general Mexican market.

Very friendly staff and the best deals in the fresh produce section in this area..Weekly ads on meat are hard to pass up with a full butcher shop support. Se habla Espanol is primarily spoken.

Small market catering to the local Hispanic community. SuperKing has better sale prices.

The good is that the store is convenient, has pretty affordable produce and milk, and has a very friendly staff. The downside is that the selection is limited, the prices on some items can be higher than what youd find in larger stores, and that the meat department isnt anything spectacular.
