The produce quality is very good, but they really need to step up the organic produce. very little organic. in fact the only organic was pre-packed so not really sure if that was local Growers Direct?

Very rude and judgmental stares made for no reason. I simply asked for the price on a SolTi beverage (Organic Turmeric SuperAde) and they up charged me $2.99 without showing me the price of the item. The lady with the glasses and hair up light skin and dark hair was the one who rang me up, the older gentleman with the facial hair and light skin wasn’t as bad but didn’t do anything to make the situation any better. I look up the price for this anywhere else is $3.99. I would expect better customer service for a location in Newport Beach & to not even have a bit of common courtesy really says a lot about your reputation as a business. This was very unfortunate moment and I only hope you guys are able to not treat anyone the same way I was treated.

What at neat little shop. Fresh fruits and vegetables at a really decent how they can afford the overhead without selling commercial pre-packaged items like and soup and cereal and alcohol is beyond me.

My mother who is a senior citizen went in to the store today 8-4-21 and was completely ignored by a employee and disrespected when my mother approached the employee she brushed my mother off customer service was lacking and when my mother asked for a manager there was nobody present she has gone to this store before but today was unacceptable that employee wish I got her name should be reprimanded or retrained to not ignore customers

Once again, Direct Growers, has come through with a beautiful flower arrangement for a friend who recently retired. The all white arrangement was beautiful. We have used this flower shop for years and have never been disappointed!

Best place to get your fruits and veggies. Its always super fresh and their prices are so much better than the typical grocery store.

This place is a real gem. Excellent fresh, seasonal and local produce - and a lovely selection too. I also love that its like a real farmers market where the fruit and veg isnt prepackaged in plastic, very important. Its excellent value for the quality, I really cant recommend it enough.

Absolutely fresh, full sized (not scrawny leftovers) produce. You can tell by the lovely & natural aroma of the plump ripe fruits & vegetables. And...I dont even like vegetables most of the time...but the vegetables at Growers are great.

I go quite a distance to get to this place because the produce is excellent. theres a good variety. this is a small store and yet they have so much and the prices are good really really good. no gluten-free options but I got to tell you just for the produce alone I will drive a half an hour

I live 72 miles from this business and hit it every time I drive by. Its cheaper, with much better quality produce, than any other source ever. Its like a farmers market, except the quality is great and the prices low. The staff are friendly. My only close-to-complaint is that the aisles are a bit tough to navigate, but hey, its for good reasons.

This is probably the best priced place around for produce by weight, and the quality is fairly good compared to other non-organic offerings at local grocery stores. That said, they would benefit from having more of a focus on organic offerings. There is a decent amount of produce that is not from the U.S.

This is my favorite place to shop for fresh fruits and veggies. They have a $5 minimum for credit cards, and its honestly difficult to spend that much with how great the prices are. My bag is usually full and I barely make it over $5!!!

Growers direct has seasonal produce direct from farmers. I never walk out of this place for more than 30 dollars, yet I always have 3-4 full bags of fresh produce, organic eggs, and a nice loaf of bread. They cover staple produce well, even if it is seasonal.

Always fresh and prices make me smile. Background music and market look add charm to this place. But also people seem to love their job here and therefore fruits and vegetables are arranged in even lines and it makes me want to come back here most. Plus fresh bread from Cest Si Bon bakery.

This place was not what I was expecting. Ive been looking for farmers markets in the area to buy seasonal, affordable, local produce and this place popped up on my internet search. I didnt see any local produce today or if they even carry it, I have no idea. Most their produce is conventional, but there is a okay selection of organic items. Its pretty underwhelming for what it is. Theres a couple small fridges. One had dairy and another had some juices and kombucha that I thought were way over priced (I could find them cheaper at Whole Foods) which was disappointing. I dont even think they carry any non-dairy milk which is also a let down. Youre better off going somewhere else unless youre desperate.

Products are really fresh most of the times. Easy to shop place. I always buy my fruit and vegetables here..

Best produce store ever! All the produce you can imagine, plus some local bakery and dairy. Everything is always fresh, and cheaper than any other grocery store. If all you put in the cart is produce, it is nearly impossible to break $20. Hands down better than Sprouts for produce, but they dont have meat or grocery items like Sprouts does (hello, The Butchery next door if you have saved so much $ here that you can afford their fancy high quality meat and cheese). They have rotating seasonal specialty items near the front too - like kiwi berries, gooseberries, currants, fresh figs, etc. They also sell frozen Sambazon acai packs, which are hard to find. The only downside is that it is a small place and hard to move around at times - go at an odd hour to avoid the after work rush.

This place has the freshest fruits and vegetables and the best prices. Its the only place that I shop for produce.

We are from the Midwest but when we visit the Newport Beach area during winter months, Growers Direct is one of our first stops for fruits and vegetables. So much good food for so little money. Wish I had that quality for that price where I live.
