This place is very good. I love ice cream or anything coldAnd creamy lol. So yes this place is very good. We love coming here after having lunch on a hot day and just walk around the shops and have this amazing ice cream. If you are in the area this is a much try. It is very good and has lots of flavor. I recommend the match the is my favorite but I always get a mixture of the soft serve better they are all so good. So stop reading reviews and order your ice cream ;) your welcome
One of my favorite matcha places in OC! They have the best priced soft serve by a few cents, but the flavor is good. They also have a stamp card rewards system which also sets them apart (that I know of). This place is located inside the Mitsuwa, so theres also a lot of good food nearby in the food court. This is always one of the best dessert options right after eating like ramen or curry nearby.
Hoji soy latte w boba:Pretty good! Nice hojicha flavor. The soy milk is good but the drink is slightly more watery. The boba was meh. It has the store bought home made plastic taste thats hard to describe.Sampler hoji oat milk latte:Oat milk amplified the hojicha flavor and adds a creamy depth to the latte. This was seriously so good!
The Matcha Shake and the Black Sesame Shakes are amazing. In fact, all of them are. If youre unsure what to order and like peanut butter, try the black sesame. If you like teas, the Matcha Shake is unbeatable. My kids love the Madagascar Vanilla Shake with Boba. We visit this place every chance we get! Bonus, I think the matcha is good for you! (Well, except for the sugar.)
The black sesame soft serve is so delicious!
This place is inside Japanese market. Definitely worth the adventure. The matcha ice cream is soooo good! Best weve ever had. We will be back again soon! Thanks Matcha Love!
Consistent quality for a good soft serve. Some flavors can get heavy and you might find yourself stopping 3/4 of the way done. Definitely not a Salt and Straw, nor American Dairy Queen (no strawberry jam topping), but a unique Japanese flavor and texture soft serve ice cream. Definitely sample before you buy if youre not familiar with the flavors.
Loooove the hojicha soft serve π€€ Itβs the only place around here to get any.
Matcha shake is the BOMB. $6 and you have the LAs best.Bring cash. $8 minimum for credit card transaction
I love the hoji ice cream so much! Not too sweet but creamy ! Will try other flavor next time
Wonderful surprise dessert. Will be back. Loved the Japanese food court too.
Black Sesame Soft Serve is the love of my life. Seriously this is one of those life changing foods that makes me so super happy when I have it.I am so sad when I go to the Mitsuwa food court and they have already sold out for the day.Do yourself a favor and try this. It is the best.
Mediocre matcha with mediocre service. The matcha iced tea is pre-made from a dispenser. It tastes like water downed green tea.
Nice soft serve place in Mitsuwa market. They are owned by the Japanese tea giant Ito En. The green tea ice cream was tasty and smooth. I usually like black sesame but this one wasnt as good for some reason. The flavor was not that rich. They also sell different teas. Best in OC
There is actually a very similar chain that I have been wanting to go to in LA, but since LA is not accessible right now, I decided to go to this one. Ive had my fair share of of Asian style, soft serve ice cream, but they always had a flair to it. Places like Somi-Somi serve it on a fish cone, Drips and Swirls serve a black cone with charcoal ice cream, and Honeymee provide a honeycomb. This place simply serves the generic green tea soft serve (or roasted) and black sesame. Dont get me wrong, I love these flavors and there was nothing wrong with how this tasted, but I am right now comparing this places to the others of its kind. What I am trying to tell you right now is that there are better alternatives than to this place for your money. Now if you do choose to go to this place, the taste is good, location could be better, and service is meh. I would simply choose to eat expensive ice cream when it is something I have never seen before or is a bit more artsy. Flavor=4.5/5 Originality=2/5
Delicious Green Tea Icecream π¦, I enjoy it and ready to back again. π
Nice ice-cream
The best flavor is roasted green tea ice creammmm
A little expensive but worth the price
Cheers to Matcha Love! Light and floral, just perfect taste!
The black sesame flavor is on point!
Great Matcha ice cream
Hojicha soft is the best! Delicious salmon
