My car suddenly stopped on me while driving- so scary! I called several places that were booked or couldnt check my car out right away. I was looking for an alternative to the Ford dealers service department, and I found DTX Automotive on Google Maps. I brought my 2011 F150 in for them to check over as I was having a number of issues, but was dreading taking it to the dealer and the high cost associated with that. DTX Automotive took care of my 100k mile service, oil change, oil filter, fluids, spark plugs, as well as installing new brakes and rotors in the front, and fixing my ac blend door. He complete all of this and more at a reasonable price, and I was so happy to be supporting an independent repair shop, rather than a dealership.

I needed the purge valve replaced on my Ford Fusion. After having an inspection at the dealership and finding out the cost would be $800+ I looked around for a reputable repair shops that could fix my car for a more reasonable price. Im so glad I found DTX! The owner and team are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. My car was fixed in one day and half the price as the dealership. I even drove it a few months for possible issues before leaving a review. Id definitely recommend DTX to anyone with a Ford vehicle.

Andrew was great. He used to work at a Ford dealership and knew everything about how the dealership operated. Apparently, stealing tailgates off trucks is a popular thing among car thieves. Andrew was very conscious about price, yet replaced my tailgate and all its components much better than the Ford dealership did last time my tailgate was stolen. AND, Andrew performed some kind of further repair so that the tailgate is now sealed and can no longer be stolen (the Ford dealership never told me about that). I’m so thankful to have found DTX Automotive and I highly recommend it.

Good professional customer service. All of my experience was great working with these guys; they know what they’re doing and keep you updated at all times. One thing I especially appreciated was the courtesy of being straightforward with my repair and keeping me aware of what was needed. I have an F250 which before taking it to DTX I took it to park cities ford, Park Cities Ford was very unprofessional and did not keep me updated or stay in good contact on what was going on during the service or what was need to fix my issue, they over charged me For labor and replaced a $475 module that didn’t even need to be replaced. The issue was not fixed and I was out $850.... I took it down to DTX automotive immediately after and they had the problem pinned and solved and repaired instantly, no problem, and no beating around the bush. I will definitely be returning for future repairs.Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the labor cost per hour was higher than I’m used to paying, but damn well worth it. No wasted cost what so ever. DTX automotive is worth every penny you pay because they do their job and they know how to do it efficiently and professionally. Good job guys, and thank you!

A friend referred me to Andrew at DTX when I first bought my 2014 Mustang GT, a year ago. As soon as I bought it, Andrews techs were kind enough to look at the entire car and make sure it was ready to go...Fast forward a year. My clutch pedal broke. I immediately called Andrew to take a look to confirm, and he did. Unfortunately, the clutch pedal assembly was on back order for a couple weeks, due to COVID. Andrew was kind enough to let it stay there while we waited. Well, a couple weeks turned into a couple months before the part was available. Andrew still allowed me to let it stay there versus towing it back and forth. So I bought an 08 6.4 w 95k miles and was referred to DTX by some guys I grew up with who had used Andrew. Obviously the referral and his background at Ford helped but his work is what has been so impressive. He did a delete/tune/exhaust and it runs like a beast and ive had zero issues a year later. I have a 2007 Ford F-250 and it broke down 2 days before Christmas Day. In Dallas on the freeway. After searching for a good mechanic I ran across these guys at DTX AUTOMOTIVE. Andrew and his team worked tirelessly for a month almost repairing a truck that needed some love. The first time I went to pick up the truck a new problem occurred. Andrew, out of his own pocket reimbursed me for the travel expenses, since I live 4 hours away. Then I tried again the the trucks fuel system was completely shot. Nothing that they did but Andrew being the good man he is towed my truck back to the shop and repaired it at no cost to me. In total I spent 7,000 or so dollars on basically bringing my old truck back to life. I appreciate the customer service and respect that those guys have given me. I spoke with Andrew, the owner, for some advice on an issue I had with my older Ford truck and instead of him having me tow my truck over to his shop, he drove to my location to diagnose right then and there. He tried a few troubleshooting options to help get my truck started to help save me on towing and potential unnecessary repairs. Most business owners wont go this far out of their way for a first time customer, but the fact that he did is reflective of his character and how he operates his business. I have a 2017 Raptor, and there were some power delivery / shifting issues. I took it to Prestige Ford in Garland, who kept my truck for 3 1/2 weeks, and returned it to me unresolved completely.Luckily i found Andrew and DTX. They took my concerns seriously, and stuck with the problem until completely resolved. (Some timing issues and a transmission valve that Prestige claimed to have replaced )Additionally had them put on an awesome Retrax tonneau cover.Im not sure if the truck was in this good a shape when I bought it.If you have a Ford, these are the people to trust.
