What prompted me to write this review was that I moved a good distance, got a bit lazy and didnt wanna drive the extra miles to Rallye. At a different mechanic shop I asked for an oil change and to fix my heater; and they come out will a sheet trying to upsell me several different items for $1950. Then the next day they found another mandatory repair in relation to the heater for another $200.... Rallye, in all my years going there, hasnt upsold me a single thing. Should have just drove the extra 15 miles.

Just moved to the state and needed a check engine inspection - so glad I took it to Rallye. Paul was friendly and great about letting me bring it in last-minute before the busy holiday weekend. They got the car back to me in great condition before the weekend and explained exactly what they found through the engine check diagnostics. Trustworthy local car service!

Refused to service my 2014 Grand Cherokee. I called to schedule install of a strut mount on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and because I purchased the Mopar part from the dealer they informed me they “don’t install customer parts”. The interaction was cordial. If you want to use dealer parts just be aware that is an issue for this place.

Had need of an emergency repair this week. Check engine light was on and I had the code read at an auto parts store. Had heard rave reviews about Rallye, and it is very near where I live. So I decided to give it a try instead of driving so very far to my usually car repair location. The staff was very knowledgeable and polite. The office was nice and clean. Service on my vehicle was prompt, with quality parts, at a fair price. I was very impressed.

I have been a customer for years. As a single mom with three older cars I can’t tell you how much peace of mind Rallye gives me. Paul gives excellent customer service and makes you feel like you’re their only customer. They are trustworthy, their communication is great and I know they are always going to help me do only what is necessary. I can always trust the repairs they make. Even though there are 50 or more mechanics closer to me, I drive 20-25 minutes to Rallye’s. There may be someone cheaper but I want someone I can trust!!!

The A/C went out on my 2003 Lexus. The Lexus dealership informed me that I need a new compressor and dryer for $2600. Since the car is only worth $8000, I got a second opinion from Paul at Rallye. He told me that the compressor and dryer are fine. He filled up the freon for $90. The A/C works just fine now.$90 sounds better than $2600. Im disappointed with Lexus and their dishonesty. Im impressed by Pauls honesty and professionalism.I will be servicing my car at Rallye in the future.

Have gone here twice now, and both times they went out of their way to save us money. Both times there was something simple that had to be done to remedy the issue, and on each occasion they could have embellished and taken advantage of us, and we would not have known any better. But they were very honest, and in one case were able to help us free of charge. They provide uncommonly good service. My family and I really appreciate the excellent level of service they provide.

Today was my first visit to Rallye Auto. I talked on the phone to this extremely nice man named Paul. I have only been in Texas a few years and this is the most professional person I have met that works in this industry. He is caring and does not try to get you to pay for something you do not need or overcharge for a service that you receive.i went to the wrong location today and I called Paul and advised him of this. Reliable place to fix my old VW.

These guys are very polite; I came in for a rotation and come to pick it up to find it carelessly parked on top of the bushes next door which left scuffs and scratches on my front bumper. Its unacceptable! They were understanding and offered to keep the vehicle in attempt to buff them out, however it did not fix it. They said there is nothing else they can do. So now Im stuck with a body shop bill for damages they are responsible for. Big disappointed, will make sure to let my friends know.

About a month ago, In the middle of a full on down pour of rain I had a flat on the road close to this auto service center. As I walked in, I could see how busy they were. All 8 bays were full, the service advisor was on the phone helping a customer and he still came up to me to let me know he would be right with me. Once he was done with back to back customer service needs on the phone, he came up to me and saw my flat tire. I ask if I could borrow a floor jack so that it would help in making this fix a little faster in the rain. Paul, the service advisor said how about we just change it for you so that you are not in the rain doing the fix. 10 mins later I was changed out and on my way! (remember the comment that all the bays were full), Most places alone would have just put you in line waiting over an hour for a 5 min changeout. Pauls management skills and keen eye could see that a shuffle of jobs for a 5 min fix would give him a customer in the future. Thank you Paul for helping your new future customer and thank you management for having an awesome employee on your staff!!

My car broke down while I was driving along Preston, and I had to get it towed to a nearby mechanic. I was really lucky that this was the closest place, because they are amazing! They are super friendly, and they gave me a very reasonable & accurate estimate. They were able to fix my car much faster than I was expecting - it was ready the next day! When I went to pick up my car, there were no extra surprises on the bill, no upselling, and they gave me an explanation of what happened with my car. All in all, they provide a great mechanic service. Good communication goes a long way! Ive been looking for a place to take my car for ongoing maintenance, so they have my business in the future. :)

I have been to this place twice- they are professionals and cordial, so no complaints about the service. The only doubt I have about them is the money they charge- I first time changed one headlight and the labor cost was 50$. The second time when they did state inspection of my car, they suggested changing the wiper blades, and each one cost 20$. I have zero knowledge of car and car parts, so I agreed on that, but later found out that the wiper blades can be obtained at atleast half the price.

Paul and the crew are amazing! They follow back up on repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and will email pictures of problems they spot while the car is in their care. They are also honest and dependable! I would never take a car anywhere else! I have had several vehicles in for a variety of repairs and have been thoroughly impressed each time! This is the best repair shop I have ever seen!

Until coming to Rallye @ Hillcrest, I had lost hope in car repairs! My business partner referred me to come here to repair my last mechanic’s mistakes- and they delivered! This place is the whole package. Scott and the team of mechanics are very skilled in what they do. Paul who works with scheduling, and explaining potential repairs is friendly, patient and very thorough. With 3 teenage drivers, we have older cars often in need of repair. Scott and Rallye have been such a blessing to us in their trustworthiness. We are also grateful for how hard they work to get our car in to be diagnosed and then also in how hard work to get us back on the road as quickly as they possibly can.

Highly recommend. Work is done pretty fast but most importantly they seem honest and don’t try to up sell you on unnecessary repairs. Paul and the team are great.

I was having a problem with my 2003 F150, so I went to Ford, figuring they would know there own vehicles. $170 later (for a misdiagnosis) I went to Rallye. The exact opposite of Ford: Paul is friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Rallye fixed my problem and my only regret is that I didnt seek their help in the first place. Live and learn.

Paul is fantastic and true gentleman. Your car will be in good hands who really care for your car and dont look for robbing you with extra charges. Ive done my camshaft and crankshaft sensor replacement for my infinity m35x. The cost was reasonable and the hospitality was excellent.Before that, i have visited many other service centres and they just try to rob you, but not this one. I would highly recommend this place.

They say an honest mechanic is hard to find. Maybe we just got lucky having this place in the neighborhood. Weve taken two vehicles there and got quick, professional service with no pressure or run-around.

I was from out of town and unsure about what to do when my car had a check engine light on. The dealer didnt want to check my car because it had 239,000 miles. The nice people at Rallye checked the light, gave me some good advice, and didnt overcharge me. I would use them again.

Took our car in because of a noise in the right front wheel well. Scott seemed to have an idea about the cause of the noise and asked several questions. Told us to leave the car and that they would have it repaired in several hours. We got a call in several hours and told that the car was ready for pickup.The cost was incredibly low and the noise was gone. These folks know their business! Best of all, they are polite, professional and get things done quickly. Above all, they are honest and charge reasonable prices. Are we going back? You bet, that is, if our car needs more professional help.

Great experience at Rallye on Hillcrest/Ohio. I brought in my 2002 Mercedes that we are putting back in service and gave Paul a blank slate to find wrong whatever he could. The car runs great! All it needed was an oil change. He also gave us great recommendations for some upholstery work and body touch up. High trust value here.

Paul was really great. He explained how the problem would be approached and communicated our options in a very non-pressured way, helping us prioritize the list or repairs given our various constraints. As a courtesy he offered to recheck a couple of issues two weeks later to make sure that everything we OK. I really felt he was focused on what was best for me, the customer. Got an oil change and general check up here about a week ago. No issues showed up on my car so far so I guess the job was done right.Spoke to Paul at the front desk. Transparent and fair with pricing and wont try to rip you off or tell you something is wrong with your car when there is none. He is also an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic and explains to you what the issue is with your car and make suggestions.He also seems to tell customers not to have something worked on if they are worried about something but there is no issue, instead of trying to take advantage of them.Good, honest, knowledgeable shop from what I know. Definitely give the shop a try and support worthy businesses like this so they can continue to offer good honest service instead of having to go to some other shady place.

Growing up, my dad would say, You dont want the BEST mechanic; you want the most HONEST one. Paul, whos usually at the front with customers, is the most honest and service-minded advisor Ive ever experienced, anywhere. And as Jacqueline notes, he treats your money as if it were his by helping you understand which repairs are critical and which are recommended. The mechanical work always seems to be first-rate, but if there were an issue, I know theyd make it right. Im sure the rest of the team there is great, but I sure hope Paul is at the front for the long, long-term.

I had a great experience with Rallye Auto Service. From their recommendation of the wrecker service, who was inexpensive, to the relay of information regarding my repair. The work was performed in a timely manner and they even phoned the following business day to inquire how my truck was operating! I highly recommend them and they were cheaper than the dealer.

I have been taking my vehicles to Rallye Auto Services for the past 15+years and would never consider going anywhere else for service. I highly recommend Scott, Paul and the crew at the 18181 Hillcrest Road location. They are knowledgeable, reliable, fully transparent and TOTALLY trustworthy. In fact, my children who live in Houston schedule trips back to area just to have their vehicles serviced at Rallye.

My husband and I have been customers for the past 4 years and will never go anywhere else! We feel that Rallye can be trusted to give an honest and fair assessment of services needed to our cars. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of or feel like I am being fed a false list of services that I dont need. Very nicely run shop. Paul, the service writer, takes plenty of time to understand your concern and their work is both fast & affordable. Paul also points out items/maintenance that they feel needs to be addressed, but it always feels informative, not like an up-sell (he does not make you feel guilty if you are not ready to do any additional work). Based on my experiences so far I plan to use them for 100% of my ongoing maintenance/repairs.

Appreciate their honesty and the time they take to look over the car. I wouldn’t say they are the cheapest but they aren’t overpriced. But what I can say is that I do trust them and that says a lot, because there have been plenty of shops where I’ve gone and often questioned their work ethnics. You can be sure when you leave that they did a good job and if something is wrong they quickly remedy the situation. Often swing by for a quick check or question, some shops will charge you just to look at your car, but majority if not every time they do it as complimentary service. They are also very clean on the inside as well. I’d recommend them. Awesome place.

Had a wheel bearing replaced at the shop on Hillcrest, they had my car in and out the next day! I was a little concerned when they came back with two or three others things that needed to be done. But they said the other repairs werent urgent and didnt push me to get them done. I really appreciated their honesty and thoroughness. Its been two weeks since they fixed the wheel bearing and I havent had any issues with the repair!

Rallye Auto has always been helpful to us. Paul and the other staff always keep us informed about what must and should be done, including making sure we understanding pricing, etc. They usually accommodate last-minute appointments, and they always let us know how long service will take and inform us of any delays. I dropped off my Santa Fe after hours when my blinker lever on my steering wheel started smoking on the way home! Not something I had ever heard of before. Talked to Paul the next day and they took a look and my blinker part needed to be replaced so they ordered the part and had it ready to go the day after by 5pm. Its never fun to have car trouble but Rallye took care of me and did it quickly so I only had to deal with rides to/from work for two days. Ill be back next time I need something done and Paul is just great with customer service!

Ive been going to Rallye since the early 90s. They are honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They will explain what needs to be done to my car now, and what can wait.When my son was told by another mechanic that his entire A/C system had to be replaced, he took it to Rallye for a second opinion and learned that he only needed a few parts replaced. Rallye saved him hundreds of dollars.

This is the place where you can trust your car(s) with. I am very fortunate to know these two gentlemen: Paul, the service advisor whom is honest and very detail in explaining what is necessary to be done and what can wait and Scott whom make sure the job is done right. I have my two cars (2006 VW and 2011 Sienna) serviced with them for 2 years now and the service that they provide is outstanding.

Paul is polite, clear, and reasonable. This makes me like to work with them. They offered a reasonable, average price for my brake service. Its not cheap but after some quotes at other places I found its average of the market.

They diagnosed my bad starter (I thought it was a neutral/park switch) and installed the new starter. These guys have also replaced my water pump. They are good people and are reasonably priced.
