Been going to this place since they opened back in like 2003. Then, when Helen actually ran it, place was nice: customer service good, prices right, great selection. The workers, Sue and Jennifer, were every pleasant and helpful. Been getting worse and worse. They have those two new battle axes working now ( who I think Mr. Li mighty be fooling around with the one in the back) and things too high. Even higher at the one in PG off Bruton!Bought one lace front there 40 bucks was 12.99 over at the Beauty Supply in Mesquite off Town East and Galloway by 99 store. (Will add photos later) I was a good customer until I got screwed, but they lost me over that one. Ill start going to that store, bigger, more selection, way better prices. Try it once and youll be hooked!

Yes I went to the beauty store yesterday and I bought some things that I need its full of all kinds of makeup hair things for your hair color for your hair nails eyelashes its a very awesome store I love it I go there all the time and Shop me and my daughter I recommend anyone to go there very nice people never had any problems with them yet but very helpful people when you need something all you do is so you just ask and they will help you I give them five stars points

Went there today and bought a beautiful bob wig that I saw online. I enjoyed my experience.The lady that is over the wig area helped me out a great deal. I have never purchased a lace front wig before. She cut the lace off for me right after I purchased it.When I first put it on at home I really wasnt feeling it, but I teased it, cut it and shaped it up to cater to the shape of my face. Now its perfect! I am in love with it. I will be buying more wigs from here for sure!

This is the beauty supply I frequent most. The staff is extremely helpful and appreciates their customers. Their prices are low. They also have a stylist in the back at all times, who can trim their wigs and apply frontal lace wigs and styling. Its a laid back environment and the best place Ive been for customer service.

Not enough varieties for crochet hair.. but I love their accessories. This store is good for when u dont wanna drive across town to a large beauty supply or for a quik stop for small stuff

The WORST experience here ever!! Instantly I was profiled and watched the entire time I spent here. No one asked if I needed help, only spying eyes watching over me as I came in to spend over $300 on hair alone. They are racist and only like Koreans. If I could I would protest this store! The manager, Kim is rude and tried to over charge me. The associate, Gina acted as if I was stealing just bc of my appearance. I will NOT be back!! 2 thumbs down!!

This store has very good prices and excellent customer service. Every staff person is always ready to help you. They have a salon in the back to help you try on wigs and as someone here said, they do frontal lace wigs. They have repeat customers there. I particularly like the young woman who works in the wig area. She is very friendly and helpful and always remembers me. This store is owned by a married couple and I particularly like the female. She is exceptionally friendly and customer oriented. They arent pushy but just very helpful. I go there often. They sell some clothing itens and shoes too. Its not the largest beauty supply but they carry a lot of items. Its close to Walmart, near Gus Thomasson/Ferguson Rd in E. Dallas.

The lack of professionalism was unsettling.I spent 84.65 at this store and honestly it has further inspired me to open my own store. The aisles were narrow and the store was overflowing with over stock. No more than two people could fit in the aisles the whole store was a trip hazard and fire hazard. Me and my boyfriend were looking at hair dye and one of the workers stood next to us shuffling the same bottles of hair dye that were already front rowed and centered. They do have variety of products to choose from but the lack of knowledge about the products was transparent. On my way out i wanted some of their roll on oils and asked the cashier a couple of questions about them to which i got nothing but silence and blank stares. But ohhhhh they had no problem smiling and treating me like a customer when it came to inserting my debit card.

I was at Helen Beauty supply exactly 2/26/18 looking for some hair extensions. I came to the store with my two yr old daughter which I always do because I am a mother and I take care of my responseribilities! I asked the front service desk man serveral times about an item they had behind the counter which cost over $100. I wanted to be sure that I would be pleased with the product that I was purchasing because there was a policy of no refund. The man could not understand me whatsoever. I had other items in my hand, two to be exact. I left my other items on the counter because I was frustrated. I begin to walk out the store. As soon as I made it to the door with my daughter, the store clerk begin to question me about the other items I had. I coutinued to walk out the store. The man followed me outside after putting a customers transaction on hold and yelling at me from across the parking lot asking where the other items where. He could not understand me. This man was possibly of Chinese descent. I got in my car and drove home! I was racially profiled at this location for assuming that I stole $4 worth of merchandise while with my two yr child. No one could help me at this store with my purchase so I felt like it wasnt right to give a company my money and they have bad customer service. I have visited Helen beauty supply plenty of times before because it is the closest beauty supply near my home. I will no longer shop at Helen beauty supply because now I see that my presence isnt wanted. I am a woman of African descent. Well educated and has never needed to steal $4 worth of merchandise.

Ive been buying from here since the early 2000s. I love Helens i currently live in deep ellum and i travel way out there!! If you havent been recently, you should really go check them out they have expanded lots more products get some time to actually walk through and look at EVERYTHING, they have a lot of Sugar Honey Ice Tea!!!
