The Dallas Hand Knitters Guild has been using the BLRCIT for our monthly guild meetings ever since the October 2019 Dallas tornado took out our previous meeting spot. From the very beginning, Pam and Chuck has welcomed our group with open arms. We meet on the 1st Tues of the month, Sept - May. They are usually closed at that time. Well, they went ahead and opened up their space for us on guild nights❤️.But wait, there is so much more. The facility has excellent lighting - great for crafters. They have loads of electrical outlets. And they are set up with WiFi. In other words, go ahead and bring your smart phones and tablets. They have you covered.Plus, they also accommodate Zoom video conferencing. Many of our local and out of state members take advantage of the guild’s ability Zoom option. So this has been a big plus for us.If you are a crafter and especially if you have crafty friends, check out their space. They have the hook up. I really can’t recommend them enough,
Love the Quilt Retreat Center. We called Pam a few weeks ago for beginner quilt instructions and hands on tips for finishing our first quilts. Pam created a day package for us that we’ll use often. Now I’m hooked. Pam, the owner is a great teacher and has a large, fun space. Social distancing is no problem in her retreat center.
Great Place to have a workshop. Great lighting, full length screen with projector and very comfortable chairs with each attendee having a large workspace. Pam and Chuck, the owners, are extremely accommodating. Its my Guild, DHKG. number 1 requested venue.
This place is very nice. It has bright lights, plenty of tables, a kitchen area with snacks you can buy for just $.50, and great electrical connections on top of the tables. I will definitely be back because you cant beat a whole 12 hours of fun for $20! Oh and the owners are very nice...the man even helped the senior ladies carry their stuff to their cars over and over! Thanks Pam for making such a lovely place for us to get away to.
Low cost fun way to spend a day catching up on those sewing, quilting and craft projects. Quilt shop is 3 doors down. Lots Lots of good food places for lunch. Wonderful people. Sit in anytime!
Just love the retreat center. If you love sewing and quilting a must to go and check out. Pam is the owner and she is so nice and knowledgeable.
Love the retreat center...most of all Pam the owner!
