意外と、大人もこどもも楽しめる。I think both adults and children can enjoy the view from the top of this tower. The height is about 140m, some people can run up to the top in 2 min by their steps.I like the old-fashioned see-through elevators (lifts) . It’s quite rare. There is also a plaza on the 3rd floor where you can see the history of the sapporo TV tower and its unique characters.
This is a great icon of sapporo.Apart from standing in front, the city view from the tower itself was so beautiful. The entire odori can be viewed and photographed. But sadly there is no New Year count down for this year, really disappointed. But enjoyed though, doves were in group and that gave additional beauty for the location
The Sapporo TV Tower built in 1957, is a 147.2-metre-high (483 ft) TV tower with an observation deck at a height of 90.38 metres. Located on the ground of Odori Park, in the northern city of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, the tower is open to tourists. Tourists can view Sapporo and Odori Park. (Wikipedia)Good to be on observation deck level to see Sapporo city from high angle view. There are souvenirs sold and cafe too.
We visited the Sapporo TV Tower during the annual Snow Festival. Relatively inexpensive admission ticket for the observatory. Space is a bit tight on the observatory floor, but it offers quite a nice view of the heart of Sapporo. The gift shop on the third floor offers plenty of options. I think the most interesting experience for us about this tower was that we could take the stairs back down, which takes about 10 minutes. Not too many towers offer such an option!
I get to enjoy a BEAUTIFUL view of Sapporo and the Odori Park. I bet the experience will be AMAZING *DAY/NIGHT* and throughout the 4 seasons of Japan. I only get to experience the early morning view *I wanted to avoid crowding* and the winter season. For someone who dun own a drone. I happy to enjoy the magnificent view☺️°📺🔽Please check out my LATEST travel video✨🍻 YouTube Channel@ WhenaGeekTravels👈°#sapporo #tttvlog #札幌 #hokkaido #travelmemories #travelphotos
About RM 52.00 ticket fees for two person. Ride the escalator about 40 sec to reach the view point. Amazing view up there and should you have wide and long lenses for your camera, you are definitely going to shoot some amazing photo landscape from here. Washroom, grocery and souvenir shop are available here.
The coin memento machine is great! Something that would of wowed with its technical prowess in 2000, but although dated, still has a nostalgic charm to it in 2020. Itll make you want to buy a coin and give it a go, which I highly recommend. Make sure to check your coin is the right way up before stamping your message!
Beautiful experience to do when in Sapporo. When I went to the tv tower it was a clear sky morning in January and from the top I could enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the mountains around it all covered in snow.Priced at 700/800 yen but in my opinion worth it.There is a shop with any sort of souvenirs if you need to buy presents for friends and family.
One of the most exciting experience Ive had in Sapporo. The tower itselfs screams architecture masterpiece and its even greater getting inside, and up on it. First you buy a ticket (there would always be long and longgggg lines queuing, believe me), and once you got the ticket, wait some more for the the guide to gather enough visitors to make a group then lead us up there by elevator. Youll go straight to the top, and its a bless that the elevator has glass walls that you can see the city right on your way up to the towers top floor. Once you get there, youll be able to observe the whole Sapporo from every angle possible, although visitors are always loaded so you gotta wait for your turn to have the best view. You can pay with coins to use the telescope too, or buy a souvenir coin that has the Tower design carved on it. Gourmet, souvenirs shops or photo-taking service are all available.
Nice visit to spend 30min of your time looking around Sapporo city from above, or getting some unique souvenirs. Youll need to pay to get all the way up by another 30m or so but you may choose to stay somewhere below (midway up the tower on 3rd level) without having to pay, even though the charges were not too expensive. Most information in Japanese and theres no guide here so if one is keen, you should already read up about the city and Tower prior to visiting.
Worth paying money to go up. Have been to many tall towers but even if the tower isn’t very high (90 m), amazing views as area around tower is nor obstructed much by tall structures and mountains near by. You can get a day night ticket that can be used within 3 days. Thats ideal if you are staying in Sapporo for few days !!
Beautiful from afar. I didnt know you could get inside of it. The tour guide forgot that I am afraid of heights. SAD!
Right in Odori Park, you cannot miss this place. You could take the elevator up to the ticketing area or you could walk up. If you do take the stairs, there are funny signs long the way. The admission fee is not bad at all at 720 yen. There is a shop for souvenirs at the base of the tower and at the top. The observation deck gives you a great view of the entire park as well as the surrounding mountains. Definitely recommend coming here.
Great place to oversee the Sapporo City. Amazing night light
Theres a small indoor viewing deck where you can get near 360 degrees views of the city. Avoid going late afternoon or you wont see much due to glare. Might be better in the morning or night.
Didnt manage to went up. But the place is nice and service is good. There is a Christmas event at the bottom of the TV tower and theres many good food and mulled wine. Awesome place
Sapporo TV Tower at night from JR tower.Just a 10-minute walk south of Sapporo Station, youll find the Sapporo TV Tower. The construction of the tower symbolizes the advent of TV broadcasting in Sapporo, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in August of 2017. The towers longstanding history coincides with the development of Sapporo as a major city, and it is now a popular sightseeing attraction. The tower stands 147 meters tall, and you can also find an observatory in the tower, situated 90 meters above ground. The spectacular vantage point provides a beautiful panoramic view of Sapporos scenery, like the Sea of Japan and the Ishikari plains during the daytime, and the night views of the city after sundown. An overlooking view to take in the wintertime ambience of the white-coated cityscape is also a great setting for a romantic date.Opening hours 9:00 am - 10:00 pm (irregular)Closing days IrregularPrice Adults: 720 yen High School Students: 600 yen Middle School Students: 400 yen Elementary School Students: 300 yen Children (above the age of 3 years old): 100 yen Children (under the age of 3 years old): FreeAddress 1, Odori Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido 北海道札幌市中央区大通西一丁目
This is an absolute must do when visiting Sapporo. It gives you a great perspective on the city, but also allows you to see the mountains and countryside beyond (weather permitting). I thought it was funny at the bottom of the stairs it read that you need to climb 3 stories, but as you climb stairs it slowly tells you its actually more like 6 normal stories. So I had a nice workout thanks to tricky signage! ;) There is a lower elevator if climbing 6 stories is not your thing. The upper elevator, which is enclosed by glass quickly shoots you up to the top. It makes for a nice video if you get a good spot. Anyways, I think you should visit the tower!
Amazing view of Sapporo. We came on the last day of the snow festival so we could see people ice skating from below. We paid for the extra 50 or so metres to the top of the tower which was worth it as it gives you the choice to walk down 50m of stairs which is a great sense of achievement for those with a fear of heights! Highly recommend to all visiting Sapporo.
Nice tower where you can get a 360 degree views of the whole city, day and night!
Great landmark of all time at Sapporo. Take photo from any angle will be a good shot though
Must visit attractions in Sapporo. Get to view the whole city of Sapporo. Recommended season to visit : winter. Beautiful city covered in white snow
Got an amazing night view of the Sapporo White Illumination and Munich Christmas Market in Sapporo in Odori Park as all as the colourful street Christmas decorations when we were up on the TV Tower.
Beautiful landmark to behold especially at nighttime. The tower glows brightly in the dusk and there are shops, restaurants and an observatory inside the tower. The guides inside were nice people and will make you feel very welcomed. There is also a gift shop inside to shop for your favourite sapporo souvenirs. Do come here both at night and in the day time to experience the full beauty of the Sapporo TV tower.
A touristy place. Tickets available at level 3. A nice winter view of Sapporo city now
In the heart of Sapporo Hokaido city center, this tv tower offers you 360 degree observatory deck to see the whole snowy town... very interesting, good view, touristy and worth to try. easy access by subway train.
One of the highest points in Sapporo. Not quite as high as the towers in Tokyo, but still a great place for picturesque views, especially during the winter festival.Theres multiple floors and restaurants in the upper floors. Honestly, half of it is basically a gift shop. Not a bad place if youre looking for some gatcha or an odd gift like Melon Kuma.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting the TV tower if youre in Sapporo. The views from the observation deck are very pretty, especially looking along Odori-koen. I only visited during the day, but Im led to understand that the night view is among the best in Japan. My visit was during the summer months (Hokkaido is such a relief coming from the super-heated south of Japan) but if you are here during the snow festival Im sure the views are even better then!
View from the tower was nice. Christmas market was just nearby, while the observation tower itself was expensive. If u want discount to go up, download the Sapporo app from App Store, and show the discount booklet. 710¥ >>> ¥580 if Im not mistaken for adults.
Excellent place to orient yourself where all the must go spots are. Excellent view .
You can see sappro city one see inSapporo tv tower and you have to pay the money(if you adult:720en,if you high school:600en)
A must visit for everyone in Sapporo. A nice elevation to see the views of the city and mountains. Great gift shop and food sold here. Everyone enjoyed the ride up and the weather was good.
Great place to visit i Sapporo to have a look on the whole city especially during the Chirstmas time.
Stunning views of Sapporo from the top, worth the visit if its your first time in the city.
Sapporos city sign and the surrounding Odori Park is lovely for a walk at night or noon. I spent here so many times wandering around. Good memories.
Smallish, but a nice landmark. No idea if it has an observation deck; not sure what you could see anyway from the top.
You will get the idea of whole Sapporo if you are visiting TV tower, again view from the height was good 👍🏼
Great view of Sapporo city. Staff ask if we wish to take group photo.. Which we decline. Nice photo spot for walking tour. 👍
Come here while dark is more interesting in Winter, they are lighting show on that time.
Great view! You even get a coupon for some soft-served.
A tower with good views of Sapporo. The views probably will be better in the evening.
My love in Sapporo! Love it so much!
This place offers a quick detour if you want to view Odori Park from a higher vantage point, or if you find it too cold outside and simply want to find a heated place to hide in. A very Japanese experience because:- there is a whole fleet of vending machines at the entrance- they have a mascot for the tower, in the shape of the tower- there are souvenir shops at almost all levels, and there are claw machines too
Nice view from above.
Great view of the city. Good to get your bearings on your first visit to Sapporo. Not a must see, but a good view just the same.
A night spot that you could spend some time walking here.
Great view of Sapporo and its surrounding mountains if you go on the right day.
Nice place . New year 2020
Small area with some stall around at the ground level. Toilet is here.
Great view of the cite and the park. The gift shop is ok, and also take up about 1/6th of the view blocking the window. Staff is fantastic as is normal for everywhere in Japan. The landscaping is beautiful around the base.
Had a great view of sapporo first time visiting japan great views! Would recommend doing if your up that way
Good view of Odori park but not the tallest building in Sapporo. Observation deck is rather small
Nothing much except that you got a birds eye view of the city. Its where youll realize how long the Odori Park is.
If youre coming to Sapporo, then surely youre going to be visiting this site at least once, especially since its pretty much a landmark? Theres a paid viewing deck available for a price of 770yen (adult), which might be worth it if youre looking to take shots of the city scape from a high vantage point. Do take note though, that the cost of admission tickets differs when you go during the day and the night.
A bit small tower but nice view
Nice view of Sapporo. Only went to 1st level.
Beautiful view
I enjoyed it more than I expected. Ive been up the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Eiffel Tower, and of course being Canadian the CN Tower, but I got more of a thrill from the Sapporo TV tower. When you go up the glass elevator you are surrounded by steel girters, not heavy cement walls and supports. When you get to the top you can lean on glass panels that slightly hang out into open space. The view is great like with all towers, but if youre a heights junkie like me then youll love the thrill of this one. The souvenir shops are a bit over done, and they funnel you through the tacky stores on the way out, but that is pretty expected of most of these places. Id go again. 😊
Beautiful place! Well maintained park, clean toilets
Highly recommend going to the top before sunset. The views are breathtaking and totally worthwhile. I dont think it would be nearly as interesting going earlier in the day. I went on a weekday and it wasnt packed at all. Perhaps a lot busier kn weekends as other reviewers suggested.
Unlike the Tokyo Tourist Trap (oops I mean Tokyo Tower) this tower actually has some charisma. Its observation deck is old, charming, and cozy and the view is quite nice without really being that high (most the buildings on Sapporos skyline are pretty low). Each side is unique and interesting.
Interesting attraction with a nice view.
The view from the observation deck was extremely magnificent. Built at the center of Sapporo City, you can see how far the city stretches and it looks ten times better at night with the city lights shimmering like stars in the night sky. Definitely give this place a visit when in Sapporo. And the fact that it is Im the center of the city, it can never really be too far from where you are.The gift shops located in the different floors also have much to offer.
Nice view point after a little walk in odori park. You can find some good food trucks under the tour. Toilets available in the tour.
Loved this city!! I wish I had more time in Sapporo
Great to visit. Tiny on their way
Nise scenery to see Sapporo town from top.
A pretty average tower by Japanese standards. You can feel some swinging due to wind vibration at the top, and can be a bit crammed. Good view of Odori Park at night
Majestic tower, nice spot taking spot. Looks good and day night.
Night view is great. it turns off at 10pm
Cool Tower. Nice observation deck. Worth a look.
Great view of the city. Wasnt very busy when we visited, so it was nice to take our time and take in the views.
Iconic tower with viewing deck, very nice!
Nice structure! It is in the east end of the Odori park.Anyone can go there easily through the Odori subway station.
Good times. Oktoberfest was going on while I was in town, which was held immediately below the tower - a bit pricey for all the import beers, but really fun and good atmosphere!
Romantic place for couples, we can going up then enjoy around this area from the top of the tower
Great view over the city
It is a good place, worth to go !
Beautiful view of Sapporo town, worthwhile !Ticket for adults is only 720 yen...
Bit too expensive for what it was. Spent about 5 minutes at the top before going back down. Next time would just stay on the free level (3) which has a lovely view.
Very nice place to visit!
Located at odori park, nice place to visited to view the sapporo city & the odori park from the top
Really nice observatory tower. Dont expect it to have spectacular views like taller towers might have.
Amazing view from the top
Love the underground street! There are plenty shops available there
A great spot for photos
Get discounted admission tickets (500¥ from 720¥, valid till Sept 30, 2018 on Dig Japan app) and 2 coupons for ice cream downstair which were really helpful given the hot weather. The view to Odoori park from the tower is stunning. You can overlook JR tower from there so can consider skip this spot :P
Why does the cafe have to be so expensive when it costs to go up...?
Nice view from the tower..
