I leased a 2022 Nissan Frontier and was overall pleased with the experience. I got a good price for my trade in and a new monthly payment that was within my budget. Additionally I must say the sales associate (Jonathan) I worked with was very, good. He was quite knowledgeable about the truck and worked with me to get the truck I wanted and answered all of my questions. However I must say when I purchased my previous truck from another dealer in 2017 I was personally introduced to the entire management team and given business cards from each . This did not happen at Clay Cooley. This was not a deal breaker but just something I noticed between the two dealerships.

Had a good experience purchasing my first car here. Called ahead about a used Toyota from their website and they confirmed it was still available. Met with the salesman Logan who took me on a 15 minute test drive and pointed out some cool features of the car even though it wasnt a Nissan. Came back later in the afternoon after getting my car appraised and getting pre-approved for a loan from my own bank. Logan guided me through some initial paperwork before passing me off to John in financing. Ultimately financed through the dealer (rate was pretty close to my banks). Elliott in financing guided me through signing the last paperwork and I was out the door. Took about 2.5 hours from when I returned in the afternoon to when I drove away with my new car.

I bought a 2019 Nissan Rogue sport from Clay Cooley Nissan. All of a sudden my check engine light started coming on and off but my car was running fine. I took it to clay Cooley Nissan in Duncanville and dealt with the most disgusting person I have ever met. A service consultant named Leo Aguilar. He said it was a case of bad gas and my warranty didn’t cover it but the condensation needed to be cleaned out from the lines and the injectors. Also he claimed I needed a laundry list of things like new break fluid, air filter and many other items that were not necessary but a woman in a car is always a way to make a quick buck. After $200 including a $21 fluid disposal charge I drove away in my car only for the check engine light to come on again. Come to find out what I was charged for was not done. The code was cleared and my car was given back to me. Now I have called multiple times but he is unavailable at 7am because he’s with a customer. Absolutely disgusting. Stay away from clay Cooley Nissan it’s like they train their employees to be absolutely terrible people. If you desperately need to go to clay Cooley Nissan, go to Irving at least there they try to do right and have manners

We began communicating online mid afternoon and Juan stayed with me until 10:30 at night. Everything he promised was just as he told me. Firm price on the online car I selected. I came in today and received the worst service. I came in around 10 & the man that received us said it would take from an hour to an hour and a half for an oil change. 3 hours later I ask the lady at the front desk what was the hold up, I understand there’s people ahead of us but we already waited twice the estimated time that we were told for an oil change that only takes 20 minutes and the lady said it should be no longer than 30 minutes. An hour later I step outside to see my car in the parking lot ready to go so once again I ask the lady what was the hold up and she didn’t even allow me to complete my sentence before cutting me off by saying they were probably only finishing up paper work. Another hour passed before we were finally on our way out. FIVE HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I don’t know if this place is short staffed or if they simply don’t know what they’re doing, I’ve came here before numerous of times and never have I had to wait so long for an oil change. To make matters worse, they “washed” my car but left the windows very tarnished.

Worst experience with a dealership by far! I reached out to work out my deal prior to going to the dealership because I knew my situation was tricky. Leo assured me it was a done deal so I drove 30 miles. I get there and ask for Leo. The saleswoman tells me she would help me because Leo is actually an appointment setter upstairs. She then tells me no deal has been worked out and we have to go through the whole process. I’m already a little bothered at this point, but I drove 30 miles so I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves. She then starts pulling vehicles similar to what I was looking for. Most of the vehicles had tears on the doors, seats, etc. You could tell the vehicles were not cleaned prior to putting them out to display for customers. It didn’t seem like they take much pride in the vehicles they plan to show customers. They even had a wrecked vehicle out on the lot with the others. Like why have that displayed? Why not put it in the back until it is ready to sell? Anyways, so we find a vehicle, but I preferred a different color so I asked about the vehicle in another color which happened to be black, but the same year, model, etc. The saleswoman was like “okay you want the black one, we’ll submit you for that”. I had not even seen the vehicle yet so I asked to. She then respond with “it’s identical to the one you looked at already so you don’t need to look at it”. I persisted so she took me to see it. It was identical to the other one, but had tears in the seat… That is super important for someone to know!!! The manager then comes out to discuss other options. I tell him I’m more interested in my finance terms and if we could make the deal work out like I was previously told. He was certain he had a deal so he said he was more concerned with finding a vehicle I liked. However, he didn’t. The whole situation was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I would recommend fixing up the vehicles you plan to display whether that be detailing and/or fixing damage. I would also recommend training the employees on honesty and providing a great customer experience.

Edwin, Cam and Dwight were awesome. Suggesting that you eat and bring your own snacks though lol. Detailing left a lot to be desired (you wouldn’t give someone a dirty apartment, why would you give them a dirty car) and after going back a second time I just ended up doing it myself. BEWARE: Clay Cooley Nissan employees are posting their own 5 star reviews, so some of the 5 star reviews are bogus! If you read their reviews on the Better Business Bureau website and on Yelp, it will give you a truer picture of how they run their business.This is the worst car dealership I have ever worked with! I would give them 0 stars if I could! I saw online that they had a pre-owned Lexus SUV for a pretty good price. After I test drove the vehicle, however, I noticed there were some issues (the trunk wouldnt open, a parking brake sensor was broken, there was a hole in the leather on the drivers seat, and there were many, many stains on the interior of the car). They promised me they would send it to the Lexus dealership for repairs/inspection/detailing, and then the next day they told me they wouldnt. They promised theyd hold the vehicle for me until repairs had been made, and the next day two different managers told me they couldnt hold the vehicle for me. They were dishonest, unreliable, and rude. They were especially rude when I mentioned that I might be financing it with my credit union; they threatened to take away the discount they promised me if I financed it elsewhere. All they kept saying was how much money they were going to lose on this deal. If thats the case, then why did they offer it all to me in the first place? The next day, they raised the price of the car by about $2,000, knowing that I was planning on coming back to buy it. I even left a voicemail with a different sales manager to discuss the issues, and never received a call back. So, I walked away and took my business elsewhere.

We came at 6:45am for oil change. It’s 10:00am and we still here.We had to look for the persona who was helping us to ask why is taking so long. The problem was not having a filter, but the problem for me is lack of professionalism, not letting us know what was the problem.On my second time asking for an answer, they told us, they have the filter and is going to take 25 minutes more.10:25 and still here, car not ready and NOBODY came to given us an explanation!!!!Finally 10:40, car is ready.Poor customer service, so unprofessional.

I was given this service sticker for my next service. I take my car in to get service and the service worker tells me they are not going to honor it. I have been taking my car here for years. This dealership is really staring to get sloppy and unprofessional. I asked for a corporate number or supervisor and received a number to a Chevy dealership. I just took someone here last week to purchase a car. They sold them a previously wrecked car. Told them they will fix the car. The bumper was not replaced they pushed the bumper back on and as soon as the buyer hit a bump the bumper fell off. Now they giving them the run around about repairing the car. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE BAD FOR BUSINESS

I had a complimentary oil change which honestly I’m due about 3 years worth after all the false promises and lies my used car finances officer Farrar told to get me to buy the car. But I’ve put my own money into it and did all the work that was suppose to be included in my purchase. My salesman Jordan was awesome. My used car Finance Manager was a liar. Please believe the other low rating reviews they are not lying about this place. The WHOLE team from sales to service really needs to be retrained or replaced. They do not have a desire to do their job let alone do it right the first time. I was given “new” information every time I called. Purchased the car in APRIL brand new off the lot and guess what been having issues since I purchased the car. It’s all started with the salesman and finance. Now I’m dealing with service center horrible customer service! Sadly the horrible service starts right when you call in with the rudest secretary/clerk who answers the phone! Please do better.

Sergio in the pre-owned department was excellent. I came in to find out a vehicle they had was sold. He ended up showing me 3 different vehicles until we ended up finding my DREAM CAR! It took an hour to show me the 3 vehicles and we ended up finishing our paperwork in 20 minutes. This is one of the worst locations in Texas especially the service Department!!! I have took my car up there 3 times not even 65k miles a 2016 and its sitting in my Garage dead no power no lights I cant even open my trunk!!! They charged me over 300 bucks for washing off a battery! They are ignoring my calls and Nissan consumer affairs I will complain on every site until someone responds to me!! I filed a claim on my insurance because I needed a tow!!! Uhhhh all I want is my car fixed !! Im not going to put the liar that assisted me on here!! Next is the News stations!!!...I wonder do Clay Cooley know who he has working for him!!! And they was so incompetent they did not even tighten the cables that caused the battery not to charge....they always want a 10 rating for Trash service😡😡😡All I asked Leo was to assist me in getting my car towed back there and he ignored me and to add my car has been there since 10.9.2021 smh And the price still going up headlight issue not getting fixed because they want to charge 2k I just need to report them to the BBB thats definitely next wish I could do 0 stars!!!

What an absolute joke. We went in with specifics as to what we wanted and what we wanted to pay and they led us to believe it was totally within the realm of possibility. 4 hours later and several “misunderstandings” on their part and neither of those things were true. We decided on a vehicle, but they didn’t have the keys to test drive it. Ok. Were told we’d be given a great deal on it. That was a lie.The amount we agreed on and signed paperwork for was “lost” during a walk over to another building somehow, and we were given a higher amount. Another hour and we were finally done. We were told the car would be delivered the next day before 2pm and the delivery team would go over all the bells and whistles. Received a call the next morning that it would be later, as their vehicle inspector (who allegedly had the key) was not in. When the car was finally delivered, they didn’t bother to explain any of the features and split as soon as they could. This review doesn’t even go into the poor customer service of the lender they used, but let’s just say it was trash.

Worst experience of my life! I called the day prior to purchasing my vehicle to get everything done because I knew I didn’t have a lot of time to be wasted in person. I was working with Anthony Stewart. Over the phone he was extremely nice and helpful. When I actually got to the dealership he seemed bothered, and uninterested in assisting me. I got there at 10am and left at 4:30pm. (Ridiculous) when I test drove the vehicle I saw the tire light was on. He said air was put in and I just needed to drive it a while and it would clear. (Not true) The next day I had a flat tire and a nail was in the tire.(my vehicle was not properly checked) Also, I was promised by Anthony Stewart that I would receive a memory card for my vehicle. He actually told me he would order one and call me! I purchased my car on 7/17 and it is now 8/17. I have been calling asking for this for a month. Every time I call his manager (Blue) he acts like he has no idea of what I’m talking about and always asks me to call him back. This past Saturday he promised he would call me within an hour..but yet I’m writing this review. No call, no follow up on my purchase, NOTHING. So now I’m left to spend money on floor mats that I didn’t receive, and a memory card that I was promised. Anthony called me a few days after my purchase and had the audacity to ask me to write a positive review because that was part of his commission pay. I wanted to write this review the same day of purchase but decided to wait and see how the outcome turned out. I feel like I’m just another $ to them and they don’t truly care about the customer. I won’t refer anyone here!
