We just had our car serviced at MBZ of Danbury after being poorly treated in Fairfield. We could not be happier to find a new home where the people really care about you, the service team is excellent, the car was delivered earlier than promised, the work was perfectly completed and the communications were outstanding!! Our Service Manager Elena was superb and we have never had the pleasure of working with such an efficient, friendly and caring Mercedes representative. We will be back for service and future purchases. You have won us over with many thanks to Elena.

I agree with a previous reviewer. This dealership makes themselves available to make a sale but even then you can sense they are disingenuine. Once you have an issue or need service then you truly see how little they value their customers.Point in fact, I called the service team about replacing my tire today (Saturday). Although they had several appointments the person I spoke to mentioned they can see me especially for a tire related issue. When mentioning I have the wheel and tire protection and wanting to find out what was covered then I was transfered to an advisor and began getting excuse after excuse. I was then informed they had no availability to change my tire until Monday. I was told they were short staffed. I was also told they did not have the staff to process a claim associated with having purchased the extra wheel and tire protection. Then when asking to speak to a manger I was told she was taking her kid to school which was none of my concern.So, when a manager is not present then I can expect no service? I was not offered a loaner car, not given the suggestion of trying another dealership, but expected to be stranded all weekend and loose time off of work to come back days later.Luckily I called Mercedes of Golden Bridge and they got me in immediately. They were a true example of the great service Id expect from a Mercedes dealership. This will all be taken under consideration when my lease is up and Im ready to purchase my next vehicle.

Very nice when selling you a vehicle, however once you need to contact someone after the fact, or try to get service- things get very challenging.they take forever to answer their phones, call you back, and then once they do they will charge you exorbitant prices for basic procedures. would go elsewhere to be honest.

To everyone that’s looking to purchase a good deal from this dealership. You may be presented with excuses like we can’t find the keys, the car is all the way in the back, you can see when their closing you feel like whether your purchasing or not it’s time to go, the battery is dead. Just say someone at the dealership wants it and we can’t sell it to you and we’re done but it’s very unprofessional when we still have unethical people that are still in business even in the times that society is facing. He calmly helped me figure out how to get in my car without having to call roadside assistance or a locksmith! He was so helpful and non-judgmental! The service dept was great from the guy who checked my car in all the way to the service manager. I have an 03 slk and took in for a leak when they finished work on car the sensor came on. Matt and his mechanics went above and beyond to get it fixed for me. Service dept here is great thank you

Been twice for service and both times ran late. Both times I requested a loaner at the time of scheduling and both times assured it was completely unnecessary and both times it was a problem. Also the car is not as clean as it usually is after service. More of a light rinse and half vacuum than a car wash

I have bad experience about uncleared communication, 1. I bought GLS fort wife and I asked them to have registered under both names but I am paying deposit and make loan with my wife name so we do not have to run two credit for no reason, they said ok then they said no we can not do registration except under your wife name and they said it was a mistake.2. I got the car delivered to NJ and I found cracks on driver side and when I spoke to Michael Rolls, he said the car was ok and he can do nothing, I have to wait for the coming Maintaince to be fixed, then the manager called me back when I complained about it and he said I was misinformed by Michael.3. I wait more than 8 weeks for resignation and plates.4. They called me to verify a wrong address although they have my information.5. Michale called and he said that will fedex overnight the plates as it was late and more late with verifying wrong address.6. When I called the office for tracking number, They gave me wrong shipping tracking number and I saw my plates went to Mi not NJ. Later sent me correction7. When I called again, they said that they sent me the wrong one and it it will come with UPS two days delivery notbFedex over nigh as I was informed.8. I was upset and I asked them to have my fedex number to ship if it is a problem for them to do what they said that they will do.9. Finally, I got a phone call from Michael Rollsasking to be nice to the front desk and she did what she has been asked to do, it was not her mistake.I felt that I am working with different people in different offices and regardless whose mistake,It is the dealer mistake that people do not communicate and send wrong information to the client.I see that instead of calling with an apology,They called me to be nice for their mistakes.I will never work with them ago, I am surprised that is Benz dealership as I worked with others in NY silver star or Holmes brother and I found higher and more professional service.This is exactly what happened and I will leave it open for people opinion.

Wow, these guys are something else! They are beyond top notch of delivery and service that I have seen within the industry.For a person that is a full time RVer and lives out of a Sprinter, it is a must to have the vehicle fully serviceable as soon as possible. These guys certainly went above and beyond. I called on a Friday with the ability to only start the RV 8 more times before I went into limp mode they made room for me in their busy schedule (they typically schedule 10 days out) for Monday. I came in at 7:30 was helped immediately by Jason and then had a spot all clean and lined up for me to get some work done.After about 2 hours I had a diagnosis and Jason worked to get my extended warranty covered without my help. By the time lunch rolled around, Jason handed me the keys and I was out the door as happy as ever with a house having a full bill of health!-------Although I did provide 5 stars it does not mean this place is perfect, however I did not feel it was enough to dock them a star.1. They have a sign where the coffee and water section is that cups are not available. They should have a sign that instead says Please ask for a refreshment and we are happy to help. In fairness I was too chicken to ask but it would have been nice to know that I could.2. The service reps are running around like crazy. I spent a lot of time and money on that vehicle and I would like to feel like my needs are being taken care of outside other customers. There were moments were I was looking to speak to people about the issues and they were backed up with more and more customers. At the end I was able to sit down and spend a few minutes to discuss however, this was after the service was already completed. It would have been nice to walk through everything after the diagnosis.

Every person I came unto contact with was friendly & knowledgeable. Never felt like I was being pressured. I felt that all truly wanted me to have a superior experience in this decision; and I did! My Sales Consierge, Dena, listened to all my needs & desires - found them - and left the final decision to me. And in her absence, her colleagues stepped up and gave me the same one-on-one attention. A new manager each time....explains why service here is so horrible. Called the day prior to for two new tires ...dropped my car off on a Saturday ....received a call 6 hours later telling me they didn’t have the tires....I have many more to share ....but, no one listens or does anything about! Unbelievable!

I had a 1:30 PM service appointment today related to a recall. The service advisor told me that it would take approximately an hour. I told him Ill wait for the car in the service lounge. I also asked him about repairing a broken marker light and he said hell give me an estimate.2;30 came and went and so did 3:00 PM and there was no sign of advisor or an estimate and I assumed the repair was taking extra time. At 3:15 i walked over to his office and he said the car was ready and shouted to a guy to bring the car. The car was ready and the key was hanging in the key box. Looking at the service report, I realized that no repair was needed by the date of manufacture of the part. The service was most likely completed a while ago and he didnt notify me until I went and asked.I asked about the estimate he had promised and he said he didnt have it. He took me across to the parts dept and asked the guy to give me a price and left. The parts guy gave me a part price and said labor estimate was not his job.Service depts performance was totally inept.

Buyer beware. Had a bad experience there and a friend also had a bad experience there with the Service dept. attempting to force very expensive repairs that were not needed. A second opinion from a different MB dealer confirmed the additional service was not needed. Since the new owner took over a few years ago, the service and customer service experience have declined dramatically in my view. Would not recommend.

Mike was awesome... I was not able to leave my business to test drive the Mercedes. Mike drove the car to us, and my husband and I were able to test drive it. In order to make up our mind on the color of the interior, Mike on his own drove another car to us, just to make sure we were happy with the color of leather. Mike has made the entire process of buying a new vehicle extremely easy and stress free. Even after the purchasing process, he has committed to staying in contact to ensure that everything is running smooth. Joe and Mike were awesome. I literally bought this car sight unseen. They were both incredible to work with and this was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever made. We made a quick decision to fly up to CT from NC, spent about 2 hours getting acquainted with our new vehicle, signed all of the paperwork and then went and enjoyed a delicious meal from a local restaurant that Joe recommended. Over my past 2.5 years of Sprinter ownership it has been my pleasure to meet and work with Service Manager David Hasseltine. He is dedicated to ensuring that both he and his team are at all times focused on the customer. His consistent personal attention, and patience, with my many questions has been remarkable and extremely helpful. I know from my first-hand experience of driving my 2015 Sprinter over 70,000 miles, including to/from Alaska and over many hundreds of miles of gravel roads in far northern Canada, that Davids Sprinter technician Phil is, without a doubt, one of the very best in the country. With Phils expert care my Sprinter has been a wonderful, reliable vehicle successfully navigating some of the most remote roads on our continent during two three-month summer trips. My experience with Mercedes Benz of Danbury was stellar. What a calm and peaceful buying experience. No high pressure sales tactics from anyone at the dealership. No haggle back and forth for days. I can honestly say that I have never had such an easy car buying experience. Past experiences were always a process. First you deal with the salesperson, then you get the pitch from the manager and right before you purchase you get hit with high pressure to buy a million different services and plans from the business person. This was so far off from our experience at Danbury Mercedes that it wasnt even funny. Melanie Petrella was our saleswoman. She was awesome. Melanie has such a composed and friendly demeanor and talking with her throughout the process made our decision to purchase that much easier. Post purchase Melanie has gone out of her way to make sure that I love and understand all that there is to learn and know about my new Mercedes. I will recommend Danbury Mercedes and Melanie to anyone who will listen to me. They really are mountains above all the rest!

I was extremely pleased with the service, responsiveness, and professionalism of this dealership. I was interested in one of their preowned cars and said Id be driving over an hour to come see it. When I arrived, 2 other couples were looking at it, clearly interested. I think one of them even offered to buy it. The dealership said that I was on my way though and I had first priority. If they hadnt done that, I would have driven over an hour for nothing.Heath and the rest of the staff were really outstanding, I would recommend them to anyone.

I have spent upwards of $30,000 on service at this dealership over the last 5 years and will NOT return. After calling to schedule an appointment for one of my vehicles, I was told that they do not provide loan vehicles for old cars (This was one of many Mercedes I own...). Car in question: 2000 E430 Sport...I called for the GM and to explain my frustrations when a very rude and condescending man, Andy Perna who is their Service Manager called me to berate me as they look at loaner cars on a case by case basis and if I didnt want the service to go elsewhere. He was argumentative and kept repeating you havent been here in over a year! So? Still have spent $30k in 5 years with you... Booked an appointment at MB of Fairfield, WITH a loaner car and no issues. This dealership has completely fired or lost all of their staff over the last year or two, and it shows. New employees are HORRIFIC. I wouldnt recommend. They dont know how to talk to their customers who have padded their pockets. Will go to MB of Fairfield now (the dealership that was closer to me to begin with but drove a little further to Danbury because I enjoyed working with the staff). Not again. There are other dealerships that will treat their customers with more respect, I suggest you try another MB dealer.

Purchased a car 5.5 weeks ago from out of state and still do not have my car registered due to back office delays at MB Danbury. Ive had to sign agreements stating that Im being loaned the car I paid for in cash just to get dealer plates so I can drive legally. Have had numerous emails and VMs go unanswered. Never get updates unless I call. Disappointing service.Update Friday 5/3: was told it would be completed by 5/3 on Monday 4/29. Friday at 4:30 on 5/3 and still no contact or follow up from Mercedes nor do I have my registration refund for the overage cover that is applied to out of state registration. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. To top it off Ive had a check engine light go on and off on my 30k vehicle for the last few weeks.UPDATE AUGUST - after submitting a complaint in the first 30 days related to a check engine light, I was told it was 99% my gas cap and that I should re-secure it and wait a while. I have since (after the 30 day warranty) taken it in and found it is a $600 sensor. Mercedes of Danbury has not stopped responding to my emails and will not honor the fact I documented the issue within the first thirty days and they stated it was 99% the gas cap and to try adjusting it for a little while.UPDATE - I emailed my point of contact SIX TIMES ABOUT THE CAR ISSUE THAT WAS PRESENT IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS AND NEVER HEARD BACK DESPITE PROVIDING INVOICES RELATED TO THE REPAIR.This whole process has been comically rough - over 6 weeks to get plates, non-responsive on emails related to submitted issues in the first 30 days which should have been covered under the warranty. DEALER NEVER RESPONDED TO PROVIDED COPIES OF REPAIR INVOICES.

On Saturday, November 16th, my husband and I went to Mercedes with the intention of just looking at a car, because I needed to change my Acadia 2014, and we were not disappointed by Steve Sylvesters primary care, always very attentive, friendly, and wanting solve our problem.We managed to negotiate a fair price, for a GLS 450, which is a dream car, never thought Id be so happy with the choice we had.I just have to thank the whole Mercedes Benz Danbury team and especially Steve.

We have just leased a Mercedes Benz GLC 300 from the dealership and the experience was really positive. Jose was a great help, he helped us find the perfect car and he made the process really smooth. He made the whole experience stress-free and positive for us. Stephen was a huge help. He taught me everything I needed to know about the car. He made the process fun and he really took his time with us. The night we picked up the car, it was very cold. Stephan didnt rush us at all, and I left knowing how to work all the bells and whistles in my car. I have purchased a car from out of state (Ohio) since November 2018. And according to them, they had to register my car and I am not allowed to register my car myself.They charged me $375.00 for registration and promised me that they will refund the difference. Registration only cost you $59.00 in Canton, Ohio, since then I have called them numerous of times to different department.Today it is April 30th, 2019 ... 6 months since I purchased the car, no refund yet!They are stealing money! Be careful out of state buyers!

Service Advisor Joe Amodeo handled our service very professionally. While your techs could not replicate what my wife and I experienced, Joe was determined to get the car back to us in the condition prior to our incident, which he did (had to replace the battery which apparently corrected the problem). It took an extra day and we were very lucky that Joe was able to secure a loaner car for us on a one day notice. Overall, a job well done.

Worst service Ive ever experienced. I purchased my 2016 metris from this dealership and the buying experience was like pulling teeth. They did not seam to want the sale. After that I went back for service and was treated like a second class citizen. I made a complaint to corporate and received a text from the service department 3 weeks later after my local mechanic took care of the issue. Recently my engine light came on and I needed a crank case valve. They had it in stock. I gave them my vin. Number to ensure it was the correct part. When I brought it to my mechanic he said the part number was wrong. I called the parts department on speaker and the man said it was the rite part just updated. My mechanic took my engine apart to find the part was wrong! I called them back and another gentleman said it was actually the wrong part and he could have the rite one the following day for 3 times the price!. Totally done with this dealership! Avoid them!

A mouse trapped in the heater fan motor housing? Try four different times. No thanks to Mercedes, who cant come up with a design change that cures this, but many thanks to MB of Danbury, who handled the problem, with no delays, and rid me of the mouse smoothies. Love the car & love the Danbury Service, but cant put up with this design problem. Is this that difficult a problem for Mercedes-Benz??

When we dropped off the vehicle for repair, there were 3 customers scheduled with the same account representative. We stood in the middle of the vehicle drop off bays (with cars being driven in and out on both sides) while waiting for our representative.Everyone was very respectful, attentive and polite.

Worst service department I have ever experienced at Mercedes. Called Danbury Mercedes service department to fix broken lugnut on GL450 and recall for steering. I went to to drop off the car they found a loaner for me and at the last min decided they didnt want to do the service. I have never seen an OEM refuse to repair their cars. I was flexible on when the car could be returned. I took the car to another Mercedes dealer the next day without an issue. If you live in the Danbury area I would suggest using Goldens Bridge service department over Danbury. Its a little longer drive but worth the extra drive to avoid the incompetence at Danbury!

This is my worst service experience in my life, and I am 80 years old.I brought my car for service a few minutes before the appointed time. It was A service, and should not take more than an hour, so I didnt need to take a loaner. I waited at their lounge. And waited and waited. I did text and phone at one and half hour mark. Then I went to their service management area after two hours have passed, and started inquiring. Finally the service manager intervened, and didnt charge for this service, for which I thanked him. But I didnt go there for free service, and I went there to get good service.

Stopped by the deanship because low air in tire indicator light came on. The guys inflated the tires to the proper levels, reset the warning signals and Michael explained y pressure drops in cool weather, then I was on my way. Great Job !

Horrible horrible service experience and the service manager Andy Perna is a very very rude person !!! To say the least ! Very unprofessional! But Only Mercedes dealership around too bad I would not recommend going there ! Update: Andy Perna tries to put the blame on the customer as I can see over and over again with the other reviews I’m seeing, when he berated me and accused me of smoking In the loaner then acted the whole time like he was doing me a favor and still doesn’t acknowledge that he was nasty and wrong . Then to top it off after I gave the first review the service writer called me and threatened me and told me they were going to mess with my vin number and and I wouldn’t be able to get service by any Mercedes Benz dealer anywhere and both told me to never come back !!! 2 days later I sold the vehicle . I love my new BMW and recommend BMW of Ridgefield ! ThIs dealer went down hill after they got rid of all the old staff ! And it shows ! I have recently submitted a formal complaint the MB USA. I have everything in writing !

I submitted an online iunquiry, spoke to him the next day, saw the car the same day I spoke to him and left a deposit and picked the car up two days later. Mike was personable, honest, and presented the best deal around. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the process and provided unparralled service.
