Service at Danvers Ford is always great. They get me in quick and easy. They promptly call to let me know details about the repair, if needed, and have it ready for pickup the same day. Service staff on the phone are always courteous as is the woman at the window if you pick up later in the evening.
The service department has really gone downhill over the past 7 years. We have been bringing our trucks there since 1999. At that point they were wonderful. They never pick up when you tried to call them to get an appointment or to ask them about whats going on with your car. The service manager who is there now, is rude and blames you if you leave a message and he never checks it. He told me he doesnt have time to check the messages that they receive.I had four new tires put on my SUV, when I saw them I said to the gentleman these are not new tires and he assured me they were. I drove home which is only about 3 miles, when I pulled in my driveway the back right tire was completely flat.I had to have it towed to them which I had to pay for and they supposedly fixed it. Then within 2 months both front tires were having to be filled with air every month. They were constantly losing air. They could NOT have been new tires.STAY AWAY, go to Kelly Ford in Beverly instead, they are amazing
I love Danvers Ford. I purchased my car there and the Service Department couldnt be better, especially the service techs. Through the years, Scott at the Service Desk has been outstanding!!!!I went to Danvers Ford as they are a small dealership which lends itself to having the best service!Thank you for everyone that serviced my car, especially in the tough times when my car was down for the count, but the techs found the problems and I was back in my car. Made an appointment to have a recall done on my cargo van for 10/4. I called yesterday to check in on the status and they told me it would not be getting pulled in until 10/19... Whats the point of making the initial appointment?? Bad customer service and well above average wait time to speak to anyone in the service department.
I worked here for a year in 2015 I kept the rentals business afloat with my expert car detailing. I ended up getting canned but it was 100% my fault. I always liked and respected the Gienees they employed my Grammy for 20 years and she died while I was working there I know she was happy I worked there. Good place.

SERVICE WAS ABLE TO LOCATE A RECALL WARRANTY ON MY 2013 FORD EDGE AND SEE THAT THE ISSUE WAS INDEED THE PART IN QUESTION WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY AND REPLACE IN A FAST AND TIMELY MANNER

I had a horrible experience at Danvers Ford with the service department! My family has had Ford’s for years, my husband and I both bought our vehicles with them, they had my vehicle for over five weeks with a water leak, they were rude over the phone, did not keep in touch with me, gave me my vehicle back twice when it still wasn’t fixed! I will never go back to Danvers Ford for anything! Everyone I spoke to had an attitude like I was bothering them! Never again!
Service staff was friendly and attentive to my repair request...repair was done promptly and for a reasonable price...although I did not buy my truck here I will definitely shop here next time I am looking for a new truck.

I waited 5 weeks for my car to be done. I called everyday for an update and they said they just havent gotten to it yet. When my husband called they have him all the information. When I finally got a rental car the car was fixed within a week. Will not be going back here
Great Staff here at the Danvers Ford Motor Co.there’s a vast amount of vehicles to look through and the staff is highly intelligent in their products. they offer commercial sales associates assistance as well and i highly recommend Micheal as he’s very resourceful and an excellent salesman

No service! Walked in to check out the new Bronco. Not busy. No acknowledgement or greeting. Maybe cuz i was wearing a mask and they werent? I hope not. Walked out disappointed.

I had a great experience. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and they got it done Within an hour. The service manager Scott D was very helpful and helped me use my Ford Rewards and points toward the bill. I also commend them for taking the covid-19 pandemic seriously. I wouldnt go back if they didnt.
I had some type of shield underneath my car come down and it hung on the ground scraping the ground. The mechanic was able to remove it, flatten it out and reattach the part. Great job. I havent had any problem since.
It took 9 days for them to fix something that the receipt showed 2 hrs of work. I kept calling for status and they seemed not know anything about it. And the parts they claimed were ordered one day then called and they just ordered the parts, did not appreciate the run around.
The service dept was top notch, I came in for a software update/recall, had an oil change added to service, and was in and out within an hour. Everybody on the sales floor, and service dept made me feel like I was in a secure location with social distancing and putting down plastic on the interior of my Escape before taking my car in for Service. Lucky for me it was a nice day out, so I was able to sit/walk outside while I waited. Ill be coming back to Danvers Ford moving forward for any service/repairs I need on my Escape.
I had a scheduled service appointment for a normal oil change. The service department was able to finish and inform me of a small issue that needed attention. Very professional and easy to deal with. This apppointment was a great experience.
When I arrived at Danvers Ford a gentleman came right outside to greet me and show me what I had to do. I was getting repair work done. The service manager talked to me and a repairman called me on my cell phone to inform me what they found and doublecheck that I wanted him to continue. They are very friendly and helpful, particularly if you are a female and feel lost in the world of automobile repair.

Which is very important to us, having as little down time to our vehicles as possible. Service was timely and the truck was left clean. The web site said I could get an oil/filter change and tire rotation for $44.00+ but my invoice came to $55. It would help if instructions on ordering service were a little clearer. Otherwise, Im very happy
I had difficulty trying to book service appointments for my Ford vehicles lately. Every time I called my selling dealer, they told me yet we’re 3 weeks out because of corona crisis.I recently moved further north and remembered Danvers Ford.I went online and was able to book an appointment for two days away.They serviced truck in 1-1/2 hours after I got there and were extremely helpful scheduling a recall concern for my other truck.Very helpful guys working there!

I made an appointment online for an oil change and an inspection sticker. After almost two hours the service tech says they broke my tail light backing into something in the shop, and cant get a replacement until the next day. On my way out the door he informs me that they dont even do inspection stickers. So it took them 2 hours to change my oil and break my tail light and they never told me at the beginning they dont even offer half of the services I made an appointment for. The next day I went back to have them fix the tail light, which they did fairly quickly. When I got home I found three of the retention clips in my trunk lid were not put back, one of which was missing. Poor service/attention to detail. Will not be going back.
Left my car to get an oil change . Come to find out a month and half later, my car has no oil . My car oil level was dangerously low. Had to bring to quick lane in Saugus for them to do the work for me . Service manager/OWNER at Danvers ford slammed his office door, said I was wrong . Not how you treat a customer . Will never be coming back here for service.

Never go to Danvers Ford! Got warranty work done on my 2017 F350, had a broken valve spring in one cylinder. They had my truck for 10 days fixed the valve spring and put new spark plugs in my truck for whatever reason, claiming they where all fowled! charged $425.90 for 8 spark plugs which cost $3.79 each said it was maintenance and Ford wont cover it under warranty. If they where fowled it is directly related to the broken valve spring covered under warranty.
Professional - very honest- I felt the service representative didn’t try to sell additional services- that I’ll need soon but was fine to wait until next service visit which I very much appreciated. Great and thorough service person. Timely etc . truthfully it was one of the first times I’ve taken one of r cars to be serviced and the service person didn’t come back with list of things they’d recommend or needed to be done I was actually shocked when the invoice was reviewed with me It was for exactly the services I requested and I wasn’t receiving a hard sell for other services. I felt I had a trusted advisor working on behalf which does not happen that often these days. Highly recommend and will continue to have car serviced here.

We purchased a used vehicle here and the salesman (James), Sales Manager (Mark) and Finance rep (Jack) were cordial, professional and very efficient. There was no pressure and the vibe was relaxed and unhurried with all questions and concerns answered without any evasiveness. Were pleased with the vehicle we bought and the team at Danvers Ford who made it happen. Were happy to recommend them.
Other than running into a couple of surprises, Scott kept us updated the whole time.

My latest service was a routine oil change and check-up. The actual work done was fine. I had made the appointment online a couple of weeks prior to fit into my schedule. When I brought my car in, no one told me that they were short staffed. When I thought that the car should be finished, someone came to tell me that they were short staffed and that the work had not yet begun. I had another appointment so had to take my car and return later in the day to have the work done. My issue is that they should have told me when I brought the car in. I wouldnt have wasted time waiting around. Communication is a good thing except when it doesnt happen.
Service team is polite and thorough. Seems like their mechanical work is very good. They were able to identify and repair issue that was present in an efficient manner - seems to have cured issues and vehicle operating well now. Reasonably priced as well.Only downfall is the dysfunctional waiting room.The area has several seats; a big TV, but limited sitting there looking at loud TV. No place to do office or computer work.A good place to drop off; not very good to wait.

The service was fantastic. Very clear communication of what to expect. A little slow with a follow up call but not a problem because I had a good idea of when to come back for my car. The car is running great. Very fair price for an oil change. I will be getting my oil changed here moving forward.
Do not go to this dealership for any service work They crushed my filler neck when they put it on the lift and won’t admit that they did I had three different mechanics tell me that it was by looking at plus It’s under warranty and they won’t cover it becuase it’s crushed umm ya you did it horrible horrible and Ford won’t do anything about it
Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is they set expectations the repairs would be done sooner than they were. other than that, great experience.

A qualified 5 more like 4.5 was told my car was parked out front after walking around in 90 degree weather was told the car was parked in back of the service center and would have to walk around the building to retrieve it.
I was taken right on time and was done in just under an hour. On a holiday off I was pretty happy to get in/out so quickly/courteously. Thanks!

The experience at Danvers Ford was exceptional! The salesman, Larry was knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. He clearly explained all the options available on my new F-150. They had the color I wanted with all the options of my choice. The pricing was very competitive. They even registered and delivered the truck to my house. This dealership may not be the biggest but they make it up in great customer service! I highly recommend this dealership!
While returning from Maine several weeks ago on my way back to Kentucky, I had blown a fuse in my Ford F-350 that ran the lights on my gooseneck trailer I was pulling and could not find any auto repair stores who could service it. I googled the nearest Ford Dealership and backtracked 8 miles to your store. After waiting 30 minutes at your unmanned service desk waiting for someone who they referred to as Larry, I was then told by the parts manager that they would not be able to look at it for 2 or 3 days. I could not belieive they could not send one of their mechanics out for a second to show me which fuse was blown. Unfortunately I could not tell from the manual. Thanks for nothing guys. I was in a real bind and you chose to do nothing to help someone out who was obviously traveling and could not wait 3 days.
I bought a 1 year old car from Danvers Ford several years ago and I am very satisfied every time I take it in for service. I also have a older Mercury Sable I take there also. In both cases - I find their work exceptional. They also try to always find ways of saving me money - with coupons and such. One time I needed an expensive part replacement - but they were able to find a less expensive part and I was very happy about that. Another time I needed a simple windshield nozzle replaced on the hood and they did it for nothing. The best thing is that they are honest. If something doesnt need fixing - they tell me. Other places would do it just do it to jack up the price. I highly recommend them.

My Ford Escape had a recall for the door latch. Made the appointment early enough to get a free rental car and waited for the call that my car is ready. After being told the recall service could take all day depending on shop work load.To my pleasant surprise in 3 hours I was able to pick up my own car.In summary the drop-off paper work for my Escape, the free rental car paper work and return and ease of getting my car made the whole experience very smooth. Very professional employees.

I bought a Dodge Dakota From danvers Ford 5 months ago. Ive had nothing but trouble with the truck trying to get it serviced under warranty with them is like Pulling teeth. They pay for some things they dont pay for everything worse place to buy a vehicle. This is my personal opinion
Came 10 minutes early to a 9:00 AM appointment to change my oil. At 10:00 AM we were told that they just needed to write up a slip and well be all set. Its 10:27 and were were still waiting.
Scheduled my cars first oil change. When I checked in I told the customer service rep about another issue. He didnt even bat an eye -- he said hed have the service tech take the car for a ride and check it out. I honestly thought I would have had to go back another day. I met briefly with the service tech, about the other issue, when I picked up the car -- he was just as nice! THANK YOU, Danvers Ford, for great customer service. Very satisfied. PS: The woman that I spoke with when paying my bill was also very nice. :)
I brought my f250 in for an oil change and service check. i tend to be skeptical of dealerships in general and more notably their service departments. i have preferred smaller, family owned shops in the past. after my experience at Danvers Ford last week, it seems i will be taking my truck to them while i own it. each staff member was attentive and friendly. the work was done in a timely fashion and they provided me a thorough note and estimate on future work.
Just leased a 2015 Fusion Hybrid from these guys! This was my first car buying/leasing experience, and Mark and Holly were very helpful all the way through the process. My test drive with Mark was great as he showed me all the features of the car and answered all my questions about the leasing process. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and very informative. I had a great experience here and am loving the new car so far!
Worse experience ever. Rude service people. Hung up the phone 4 times. Didnt even answer it. Called the office, rude woman. Called Kevin no response. Got run around. Was told my car would be ready 10:00 am Friday. It wasnt ready until 5:00 pm. All I wanted to do was pay the charge so I could pick it up after work. Last time I go there, or recommend the place.

Not a fan of this dealership... they gave us a low price on vehicle but service was unhelpful and rude on more then one occasion didnt do the right thing and stand by vehicle....and once we bought the vehicle no one was even remotely helpful.. dont recommend this dealership.
