Saria was awesome! very knowledgeable and professional. The process was for the most part a good experience. However, they have a policy of not filling up your gas tank all the way when you leave the lot. Mine was a quarter full. I know its a small thing but after spending a good sum of money and not having my tank filled left a sour taste in my mouth. I think its bad business but oh well.
Be careful from this dealership. Both departments are horrible sales and service.I recently bought out my lease from them and I found out that they sold me an extended warranty on the car, that I didn’t want.Witch I sent the request to cancel it in righting.I hope they don’t ignore that. The financial manager his name is Zachary told me I would get a call in about 2 to 3 weeks to get the new registration. 1 month passes no call from them so I call them my self and this new manager Bobby tells me that the registration hasn’t arrived yet and we will call you when it’s here. Another month passes. No call . I call again in almost 2 months after the car purchase and I ask the operator about my registration and she tells me it had arrived .I go to pic it up and one of the dealers goes to get it for me and tells me that I have to bring my car for an inspection. Now why wouldn’t you call me before and let me know that I have to do that ?Overall horrible service .
Awesome people, not “car dealership” like at all. I am so impressed. Bobby in finance made it effortless and painless for us, Linda in registration was so quick, friendly and efficient. Doug, Scott, Luca, and Greg in service - PHENOMENAL. I am literally blown away with how respectful I was treated. Such a breath of fresh air, the whole place! Even the woman that answers the phone was so helpful. I highly recommend this place, great deal, excellent service you can’t beat it and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you guys so much!!!
Alex was great! I felt no pressure and was clearly a genuine, and driven guy. The entire purchase was exactly how I hoped it would be. He was very thorough in showing me all my new trucks options and how they work. I do in fact plan on sending my friend to him soon.
Unfortunately, the two reasons I brought my car in for service were not resolved as the technician could not replicate the problems. However, the service writer, Phil, was most helpful by keeping me updated on efforts of the tech. I appreciated his courtesy.
The radio/climate control panel in my 2014 Camaro was flashing and the radio not working, so I dropped my car off to be repaired. Service tech Patrick called me Monday morning, 10/18, to report that my faceplate control panel was shot and needed to be replaced and quoted 1100-1400$ parts and labor for repair. I asked if that would fix the problem and he assured me it would. Said my car would be ready Wednesday.Wednesday afternoon I called twice to inquire on the repair status, as there was no communication as to if my car was being repaired, etc. Finally at 6PM I was able to reach Patrick only to have him tell me the panel didnt remedy the issue, a new radio was ordered at 500$ and there would be additional labor and charge added. I said no, I didnt want to incur an over 2000 dollar repair, didnt appreciate the lack of communication of the issue after 2 earlier phone calls, and to please reassemble the panel so I could pick up my car. At that point Patrick became argumentative but finally agreed to call me the next day when my car would be ready to be picked up.Thursday morning Patrick called to tell me the factory panel was disposed of/recycled so he had to continue the full repair. I said no, I wanted my car returned to me in the condition I left it at the dealership in. He said that was not possible because the factory part was already gone and I would have to pay for the full repair or the new panel and labor. I said no, as his diagnosis was incorrect that the new panel didn not fix the problem. He said the new panel would be removed and Id have a hole in the car where the panel should be or I should let him fix a very complicated electrical problem. He had not stated in his diagnosis on monday it was a difficult electrical problem....only a broken panel. I asked Patrick if he was refusing to return my car to me in the condition I dropped it off in? He once again began to argue, became condescending and nasty. Said Id have to come in and discuss the matter with his service managers. My husband and I arrived Thursday late afternoon and met with Matthew Waldo who at least was professional. He said that the blinking on the panel was fixed so the new panel fixed at least 1 problem. I wasnt out of the parking lot and the panel was blinking and flashing as it originally was. Mathew was left to remedy a bad situation caused byPatricks misdiagnosis, lack of communication, and blatant rudeness. So I lost 4 days of my car to commute to work and take my kids to school, dont have a repair to what Ive learned is a common issue with the Gen 5 Camaros, and Im out 350$ for an incorrect diagnosis. Will not consider Herb Chambers Chevy for future service or auto purchase.
Let me start out out by saying we have been Herb Chambers customers for 20 plus years and this was a great experience. Tim and Kevin in sales were great as was Cory the sales manager. My mother unexpectedly was in the market for a new vehicle and they along with Bobby in financing were all great they made the process easy and no hassle. Thank you to the whole team .
Took my car after having the windshield replaced bc the side blind sensor stopped working. Told them I had windshield replaced and thought it was related to the recalibration of the rear view mirror. They changed me over $100 for diagnostics and said it was sensors in the rear bumper and wanted $2200 to fix it. Took it to a reputable place who fixed it by recalibration of the mirror for $350!!!!
My experience at Herb Chambers Chevy dealership was excellent. The salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly. I felt no pressure to buy a car and could think about my options. I also was able to lower my car insurance because of the dealer policy program and I am very thankful for that.
Great service appointment, took good care of my wife, went the extra mile to quickly assess the vehicle on the spot, and put her in a rental quickly when it became apparent the vehicle would need a little more time on service. Great customer service, above and beyond. Service manager queued us up to expect to replace tires a little ways out, nothing immediate. You can buy a car anywhere, even online, but it s the service that keeps me coming back to the same top notch folks at herb chambers that put customer first, take good care of you, and keep earning my business vehicle after vehicle.
My husband and I showed up a few minutes after calling the dealership to test drive a Bolt. April took us to look around at the ones on the lot, one in the showroom, and quickly set up a test drive for me. She answered my questions about the car, financing and leasing options, and made sure I knew about a good rebate being offered. She spent a good deal of time with us and then followed up the next day. This is the first car I have purchased after leasing for a few years, so she was very helpful in getting me through the process. Everyone else I worked with was also great and answered all my questions. I had a great experience from start to finish.
Phil Sachetta did an awesome job in helping me get new tires and MA state vehicle inspection on my Chevy Tahoe. Phil has assisted me on previous services and I will definitely be asking for him next time I return for service. Thank you,
Miguel was great in sales, Corey was able to make a good deal, and the finance manager Zach made everything work.
Great service rep. simple oil change and rotate tires.
Service advisers were curtious, knowledge-able,& kept me updated on situation with myvehicle.
This was a horrible day for your staff, and they handled it extremely well!! 2 service staff called out on a Saturday with a booked schedule. Customers were very upset at their wait time, and were extremely rude to your staff that actually came to work, and were trying to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Unfortunately I do not remember the two guys names… I’m hoping you will be able to tell by my description of the day… if not, I can definitely describe them to you. These two should absolutely be recognized for how they handled an extremely horrible day!!
Friendly efficient staff. Had a great buying experience. Thank you.
Service rep was knowledgeable about what I needed for my service that day. Offered recommendation of what I need for my next service and pricing. Waiting area was comfortable with free coffee and water.
Polite, honest, efficient. They listened to what I wanted.
Our saleswoman April went above and beyond with making us comfortable and confident that we were getting the right vehicle for us, with her great mix of professionalism and personal touches. Even helping us program all the settings in the car.Bobby was also very professional and friendly. He made financing very easy, even after I told him we already had our own financing, that eventually fell through. He got the job done effortlessly. When we picked up the car it was super clean and ready to go.This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Herb Chambers, But not the last.
I had a great experience with Herb Chambers Chrysler in Danvers. I just adore my Jeep and John K. was fantastic to work with. The whole process was fast and easy.
I asked for directions to a restaurant and Scott arranged for a ride to one, which was unexpected and appreciated. The work was finished in the time he said it would be.
Everyone was very nice and service was great, not a long wait time on a scheduled appointment.
Kevin Fitzpatrick was an amazing sales person. He made me feel very comfortable about my purchase and was extremely enthusiastic the entire time. Kevin was always honest when discussing finances as well.
I took my truck in for warranty work and recalls. The rear sliding window had a leak. So Chevy had a bulletin to take the rear spoiler off and silicone around the window. When I went to pick my truck Up two weeks later there was silicone thumb prints on my headliner, head liner was not snapped in correctly and there was a dent on the outside body edge next to the window. They cleaned the headliner and tried to snap it in correctly. It’s still not the way I left the truck. They tried to remove the dent. It came out about 75%. It is still not the way I left the truck. Then wile they were doing a recall on my truck. The rear cab gasket that the door closes against was destroyed. Also your mechanic left a pry bar under my back floor mat. (Is that a standard procedure) I’m scared to bring my truck back to your service department to have the door gasket fixed. Because when I have your staff fix something it comes back needing to be fixed. Also I was told that They were going to do a routine inspection of all my fluids. My antifreeze was down 2 inches on the reservoir. So when I got home I topped it off. I’ve been lied to and that’s no way to be treated after I spent 50K on a truck. I’ve tried to work with your service department to get my truck back to the way it was when I dropped it off. I’m considering taking it to another dealer and taking other actions to have it fixed. Maybe you can help me resolve this matter. Thank you Michael Whitmyer.
I knew I wanted to purchase my lease... The staff gave me all of my financing options and I was in and out with my truck purchase in under an hour... Love the staff.
As I walked into the service department I was greeted by a nice young man who made my time there very helpful as he have my key to another gentleman he went over all the things my new equinox does he showed me the menu where I could check everything in the vehicle from checking my oil and tire pressure and all the other things the sales lady didn’t show me. All in all my experience with your Chevy service department was excellent.
Great staff in the service area. Could tell they dont service many Silverado 3500 HD Dually trucks. They asked me how I wanted tires rotated.
Emailed Herb Chambers yesterday on 6-22-21 and asked if a new Silverado was available. Got 2 emails saying it was and when could I come down. Went today, 6-23-21, at noon time to buy it and the truck was not there. They claimed it was in transit and spoken for but they had a similar truck for more money. Wonder why car dealers have a bad rep. Wish I could give them 0 stars for wasting my time
I have always had a great experience with the multiple cars Ive both purchased and leased! Saria went over and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my last two leases!
Service prices at this dealership are out of control. Brought my 2018 equinox in for a squeak. Was quoted 1400 dollars for rear rotors, rear pads, front pads and re finishing front rotors.Brought my car to a very reputable shop in Peabody, charged my 350 dollars to replace rear pads and rotors... best part, the front pads were still at 5mm and was told they were fine.I understand dealerships marking up prices slightly more because they are the professionals of the product, but at that point it’s price gouging.
Drive over an hours for a scheduled test drive. Received three emails verifying the truck and time of test drive. Got to the dealership and was told that the truck was sold and not on the property. Left them and went to another dealer. While I was test driving a different truck at another dealer I received a message that they had great news they found another truck with the same options just a different color. I called back and spoke to them to make an arrangements to drive another hour back to them. While I was driving they called back to tell me that they didn’t have the truck but verified that they found a Black one on the lot. I did look at this truck when I was on the lot the first time and the price tag was $25,000 higher. Stay away or waste your time and get screwed out of $$$.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kevin Fitzpatrick twice in the past 3 months. Both times he has made my transactions feel so personal and thoroughly professional.Kevin puts that little extra touch in your experience with him that makes you want to tell people about your great experience working with him. Knowledgeable about his cars and his dealership you just know you are in good hands.
It was a easy process from start to finish.
Phil was excellent. He kept me appraised of my car repairs and called when he said he would even if there was no new news. I work for Nordstrom and we pride ourselves on our Customer service. I can clearly say that he gave me Nordstrom level customer service. Excellent job Phil...
For more than 30 years, I have been going to the same Chevy dealership & been helped by counter person Scott Lyons. Recently, I asked him about needed repairs on my 2011 Chevy Equinox. We agreed on three items to be done & then he later phoned & advised that the car also needed major work on brakes. All critical repairs. For over three decades, Scott has proven trustworthy in everything that he has said and done. A remarkable achievement. And an added plus: Watching him work is like watching Fred Lynn when he played Centerfield for the Red Sox: efficient, rapid problem-solving; all done smoothly so as to appear effortless.
Kevin is always polite and very knowledgeable about the auto he is selling very happy with my new purchase Chevy Equinox beautiful ride and good deal this is my fourth purchase from Kevin sorry we are moving to FL in two months hope that we are able to get such great service from Chevy Dealer in FL everyone at the dealership always ready to help and very polite thanks again Bernadette and Hugo Mujica
April was great, she was professional, accommodating and knowledgeable.
Miguel was so much help and wonderful to work with
I had an amazing experience leasing my brand new truck. However, one hour after driving off the lot, the check engine and reduced power warning came on. I called my salesman who advised me that the truck needed an update. I brought the truck in at 8 the next morning (15 hours after driving off the lot and 1 hour of use) to your service department. I had to call on Thursday to find out what was going on. I was told they were looking into the issue. I was called Friday from the service department to say it was going to take a little longer and there was an electrical issue. My salesman (who I had to text) said it was just a loose wire. The service department has been fantastic through this ordeal. I picked up my loaner equinox (not quite the same as the silverado) on Friday evening. Monday morning I called and left a message for the GM. I still have not received a call. However the service department has been calling me daily with updates. Now 8 days after dropping off my brand new truck, I have not been contacted once by management to apologize. If you pride yourself in service, this is not it. Its not how a company acts when everything is going right that shows customer service, its how they act when things go wrong. I understand that you didnt build my truck, however, a phone call or act to try and make it right and show some understanding would have gone a long way in this circumstance.
Service adviser Phil was very helpful in getting my truck in service and kept me aware of work being done
My experience with Herb Chambers started great, hit a little bump, but ended superbly. Dwayne and the finance officer were awesome (knowledgeable, friendly, Covid responsible and efficient). Paul the GM was also very responsive and was able to resolve his scheduling mix-up. My car was delivered to my home, clean with a full tank of gas...thank you for offering this convenience (as I live almost an hour away from the dealership). This was my first car buying experience that wasnt extremely stressful, I felt respected and was treated with dignity.
We were shopping for a trailblazer LT which has an MSRP of $27,000 . They quoted us a monthly payment of $450 with $1500 down on a 36 month 10,000 mile lease. They wanted us to pay nearly 70% of the entire cars MSRP on a lease. We went to Ernie Boch who we agreed on with a price of $280/month. However Ernie Boch did not have the car in stock and said they would have to trade with surrounding dealers. Herb chambers refused to trade the vehicle with them just because we inquired with them first and didn’t agree to the outrageous price they gave us. I would avoid this dealership. The sales person that was helping was nice.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Their employees are very rude. When I gave one star for the service, the employee took my phone number from the address book, gave me a call, and complained about why I gave one star to them. Just 10 minutes ago, I gave a call to return my leased car to their location because it is very closed to my home. The employee first said it is okay and asked me, where I leased the car. When I told Quirk chevy dealer in Quincy, he said, let me check one more time we have any available spot for just one more car. After 30 seconds (how fast he checked it). He said no available spot for one more car, and you need to return it to Quirk chevy dealership. Really. I called the Pride Chevrolet in Lynn, MA. They said you could bring the car anytime, no question about where I leased it.*If you need to give me a call about this matter, you can get my phone number from your employee, who gave me a call about the one-star review.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.
The husband and I went out today just browsing for a car. We went to a few places not overly impressed and ended at Herb Chambers Chevrolet. From the minute we pulled into our parking spot to the time we pulled out of the parking spot we had an incredible buying experience. I have dealt with a lot of dealerships and Im sure many can empathize with the dread of going to a dealership. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever experienced. Doug E (not sure how to spell his last name) was very down to earth and not stressful at all. He and his team were honest and genuine. Doug was very informative on the features and benefits of the vehicle and honestly very down to earth. He made us very comfortable and everything just fell into place. Thank you for one of the best experiences ever at a dealership and I will be sure to tell everyone I know where to go to purchase their next vehicle. Thank you again Doug!!! :)
I think the customer service starts with the leadership and Corey Upton set the precedent, which was followed by Jonathan our sales manager at Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers. With help from both, we were able to sign off on 2 new SUV. Even with COVID, they were able to get both registration done within 2 days and we were able to drive out of there happy to get the cars so quickly. In the past, the deal service stops after leaves the lot but in this case both Jonathan and Cory follow thru after few days to ensure everything was good and if theres any concerns or anything they can do. It’s nice to see such an exceptional service and would recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to give this two an opportunity. Im sure you will walkout with a vehicle of your choice with a great service.
Great customer service and extremely easy process we got two vehicles for. The dealership. Agent is super helpful and knowledgeable
They were courteous and supportive to our needs without being aggressive in our sales meeting. They went out of their way in presenting vehicles in the lot.
Where do I begin? I came in looking to get a nice pre-owned car at a good price. Joshua Marcinoski was the associate that I was introduced to. This young man not only went though the whole process of buying a car with me. He answered my questions, even the ones that seemed silly. He took the time and showed us several options. He suggested a 2018 GMC Arcadia first. But, then he came back with the car we ended up purchasing which was a 2020 Chevy Equinox. I have NEVER had a brand new car before, and I wasnt looking to buy one. But Joshua, his manager, and the financial aid Bobby worked magic and we got the perfect car!!! Herb Chambers chevy is awesome!
We purchased a new 2021 Traverse in February, the brakes have been making a noise, when we contacted the dealer they asked us to bring it in as there is a known issue, we dropped the vehicle off for the entire day only to find out at 3:30pm that the dealership never had the necessary part(s) to address the problem. The dealer has ordered the parts and will contact us when available. It was a waste of our time and energy, this is not the first or second service issue with Herb Chambers
Very straightforward service and immediately set me up for appointment.
Matt and the service department did an an exceptionally well job rectifying an issue with my vehicle after purchase. Matt was extremely professional polite and extremely helpful with this matter and I will continue to share my overall experience with not just the service department at Herb Chambers Chevrolet but the entire dealership itself. I will continue to refer a family and friends to both the sales and service departments. Great job Matt and team
Robert Haddad, Alexander Grant at the Chevy in Danvers were amazing. They made the process simple and and quick. Would recomend them to everyoneK
Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased.Helped set up the phone to link to truck and showed us what all the buttons and features did. Made it the best truck buying experience weve ever had, and weve had quite a few in the past. Thank you.
Our Sales & Leasing Consultant was Miguel A. Martinez. He was professional, a good listener and got us everything we asked for in a new lease agreement. If in 3 years when our lease is up we have the opportunity to do business with Miguel again, my husband and I would be very happy customers.Thank you again Miguel and thank you for your service to keeping our country safe.Liz & Stephen S.
If your car needs services, don’t bring your car to this dealership. I had an AC issue in my car, they said it would take 3 days to be fixed. It took like 3 WEEKS!!! Don’t recommend this place 👎🏻
Cory and Kevin did an outstanding job!!!! Give them a raise!!!!They are why I keep coming back!!!!
My car purrs like a kitten now.
We just recently leased a new Equinox and noticed that a body piece covering a sensor on the front cowling had fallen off and decided to stop by and make the dealership aware of it. We went to the service department and they immediately called in a tech who did the repair while we were there without a scheduled appointment. We dont think you could ask for a better response than that! We have always experienced great service from this dealership and service department during our owner relationship. Thanks Again!
I think that I just had THE best experience Ive ever had leasing or buying a new car! Sarah Lovell and Bobby Haddad were so easy to work with, very friendly, and very accommodating - thank you Sarah and Bobby! I look forward to working with you again in three years when my lease is up!
The most unprofessional experience I have had at a car dealership. I was told they would do a “soft” credit inquiry and it showed up as a “hard” inquiry in my report. When it was brought to their attention they gave me the run around and basically told me I misunderstood them when I asked if it was a soft or hard inquiry. Their sales people need better training. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
My wife picked up my truck for me and I got it back in worse shape than I left it. It went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and it came back sounding like the engine is going to explode. This isnt the first time they have messed something up. They improperly installed an oil filter once and all the oil leaked out of my truck while I was at work the next day but I chalked it up to accidents happen. If I could give 0 stars I would. Once they fix the problem I will never go back to them.
Kevin was excellent made the process less stressful. I was impressed because he does things the right way. Not pushy or gets aggravated when the deal process was being sorted out.
I dropped of my Traverse for a check engine light and was told that Patrick, my service advisor, would call me in the afternoon to let me know what was going on. Since I had not heard from them, I called at 3:30 pm and Patrick was busy and was going to call me back. When I did not receive a call by 4:30 pm, I called again and was left on hold for 15 min. I called again at 5 pm and asked for the manager. I was left on hold for 10 min when Patrick got on the phone and told me that they ordered a part and that they would need my car until the next day. He said its covered under warranty so I went ahead and just started the work. He never called me before the work was started. I would have made arrangements to leave my car overnight if I knew ahead of time. I asked for a loaner car and was initially told there were none. When I told him my situation he checked again and happened to find one. When I got the car the problem was fixed but they could do 100% better with communication.
My latest service appointment was excellent and quick, I felt completely safe in the waiting area and within my vehicle after the appointment. Thanks again.
Considering I spent over 4 grand and had my car there on five occasions from March which aren’t all documented due to how bad my car was messed up. This place was completely unprofessional I came in in March for an issue with overheating that we believed was from an ac compressor which it took until July for them to figure it out. My service representative thought it was appropriate to only contact me twice after my car was there for 3 weeks and then tells me when I go to pick up my car 10 mins before I arrive that I need an ac compressor and it’s going to be 1600 dollars but they will give me a discount!!! A discount to 1,000 this wouldn’t have been a problem but it is problematic as on top of the lack of communication poor treatment the pricing is complete insanity as an ac compressor for my car cost maximum 359 meaning after everything was broken down including the maximum of three hours labor it would take to fix there is a 100 percent price increase on parts. I brought my car to Chevy to determine if it was worth fixing or to buy a new vehicle at your company. I brought my car to Chevy as Chevy as Chevy is supposed to have the superior knowledge about Chevy cars. However I warn you The service department is clearly just out to make commission. Not to mention the conversations I overheard that if I type on this review will for surely call an alarm for concern. Now after all of this back and forth and also being hung up on by the service department the past couple of weeks. I am posting this review. Not to mention the whole incident where my dip stick for my oil piece was super glued in my vehicle and they didn’t change my oil when oil was mixing in with the coolant tank. I am now driving a car with many problems after wasting over 4 grand, and have to find a shop to fix the problems that weren’t fixed at your shop as I am back at square one with the same problems in March and also need an ac compressor. Not to mention Chevy had the balls to email me to do a survey and to send a notice on maintaining my vehicle that never was fixed.
Great place customer satisfaction is second to none.
Great staff! Would highly recommend!
This is my 3rd purchase from this dealer and I have had nothing but excellent experiences. The folks there treat me extremely well and I highly recommend! Corey is the absolute best! He has my back and goes above and beyond. Thank you guys for making these processes easy and rewarding.-Lori Q
Had a 4:00 appointment, Service writer wrote me up and I waited about 1 hour for an oil change, tire rotation and wash. Great service as always. No worries about cleanliness since they installed a steering wheel cover and seat cover!!!
This is my second time dealing with collision department to repair my Mercedes Benz, each time I face new problems. My car has small scratches to be fixed they told me three days, but I took a week and after picking up the car I found our something else was broken when I asked why they me they’re already closed I have to drive back another 20 miles next day on Christmas Eve. Really not a professional service and not happy for the outcome should be second eye inspection making sure everything is done right and respecting people time.
Friendly and hassle free! Best car shopping experience I have ever had. Would highly recommend Herb Chambers Chevrolet for anyone looking to purchase/lease a vehicle.
Let me start by saying after leasing multiple cars over the last 10 years, this was BY FAR the best experience Ive ever had at a dealership. I got a amazing deal on a very expensive truck and everything possible was done to make sure I was happy with everything through the whole process.(And I was!)Now to the BEST part. Sarah Lovell was a absolute god sent through the entire process. The best sales person Ive ever dealt with, from buying a car or anything else for that matter. She made a experience that can be stressful as smooth as possible. We had our small children with us the entire time and any parent would understand bringing kids to place thats wide open with bright lights, all they want to do is run around. Sarah helped us the entire time with them, keeping them busy while also getting everything done. Im pretty sure they fell in love with her by the end. (We did to lol)If you end up stopping by and shopping for cars, ASK FOR SARAH! you wont be disappointed and I guarantee you, she will make your day, heck maybe your year.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone that might be looking for a new vehicle. Every staff member we had a interaction with was welcoming and professional. We felt 0 pressure and left there with smiles on our faces and a beautiful truck.Thank you so much Sarah and staff!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Very happy with my purchase and experience
I was interested in purchasing a truck listed on their site. I made an offer which wasn’t accepted. The next day I made a full price offer with the internet manager. I never heard back. I then went to the site and sent both an email and text to them. Again never heard back. I had to drive to the dealership only to find it was sold. Since they don’t want to respond to customer requests I see no reason to ever deal with Herb Chambers again. Plenty of other dealers out there.
Pat at the service counter was very helpful
Always ready to help with excellent workmanship!!
A simple oil change took too long and cost too much. I was told an hour and it was not ready for over 90 minutes. Shame on me for not asking about the cost beforehand but I was shocked that it cost over $50 ... and another $30 to rotate tires which I thought was included in the oil change package. For sure, will be shopping around next time. Have just been coming to this dealer for a while since it seemed I was being treated well. Dont feel that way any more.
Miguel Martinez was exceptional in keeping me informed throughout the process. The order-to-delivery period was 13 months for a 2020 corvette and Miguel was always available to provide updates.
Herb Chambers is not my regular place for repairs but the proximity to my home was a blessing. My engine was shutting off at stoplights. My regular dealership is on the South Shore close to my workplace. I was a bit nervous about driving that far on the highway. So, feeling a bit disloyal, I called Herb Chambers Chevrolet. The service I received was excellent. Car fixed, warranty honored, and I am very pleased with the courteous treatment I was given.
Its a great feeling knowing when you walk into the show room at business like Herb Chambers Chevy, you will be getting the best price possible and the best service in the industry. Thanks to Eduart, Coery, Bobby and Kevin for taking care of us time and time again. We have refered many freinds and family to the team and they are treated exactly the same.Sincerely Eric & Karen
Would highly recommend visiting Alex Grant at Danvers Chevrolet. Worked with Alex on the purchase of my new truck and couldnt be more pleased with the professionalism and willingness to work with my wife and I to meet all our expectations ! Will definately use them next time, cheers Andrew.
Great service / Excellent people / no problems / Thank you $$$$$$$$$$$
There is nothing but positive things to say about Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers. Between my husband and I this is our fourth time working with this dealership and in particular their finance manager, Bobby Haddad. Bobby makes signing papers a smooth professional experience. I’m very pleased with my new 2018 Chevy Traverse; it’s an absolute beauty! I left the dealership fully informed of all the new features and ins and outs thanks to my outstanding salesman Kevin Fitzpatrick. Kevin was very friendly and approachable; he made sure that the Traverse was the car for my family and I. I was impressed when my phone rang a couple days later and it was Kevin following up making sure I liked the car and asked if I had any questions, it really makes a customer feel more than just another number. I could not have asked for a better experience buying a new vehicle! Herb Chambers Chevrolet of Danvers will always be my family go to dealership, Thank you guys! =)
My salesperson went above and beyond to meet my needs. She was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership
Josh Marcinowski was perfect, very professional and detail oriented. The best car buying experience Ive had!
Patrick in Service was very attentive and helpful to our problem. Our Corvette was towed twice in a month. Patrick grated the car as his own and worked quickly to get it fixed.
No nonsense. Found truck on line and was exactly as advertised.
I brought my 2015 Equinox here for a routine transmission flush and oil change. The day they performed the service, after I had picked it up, my car started lurching when I hit the brakes and couldnt change gears while I was driving it. I had to restart my car at every stop light. I brought it back to have them see what was wrong and they told me it would be $1,100 in labor just to diagnose the issue, even though it had zero problems before I brought it in for the flush. I brought my car to a transmission specialist for a second opinion and they found that my transmission had less than half of the required fluid in it! The specialist filled it up to the right level at no charge and the problem has since gone away. I DO NOT recommend bringing your vehicle here unless you want to get robbed.
After several bad experiences, I will not be returning to this dealership or any Herb Chambers dealership ever. I first went here to buy a new truck. After going through the hoops I ended up walking. I was specific about what I needed for options. They didnt have that in stock and didnt want to order. They proceeded to try to talk me out of what I need to force their sale rather than meet my needs. I went to the next closest chevy dealer and they ordered me a custom truck.Fast forward 2 years, my truck was having issues and I had to go to the closest dealer, Herb Chambers. NOTE: if you didnt buy from them....dont even think about getting service here. Made me wait days to even look at vehichle and I truly believe they either: A- sabotaged my truck to create larger repairs or B: overlooked simple fixes and recommended higher dollar repairs. I spoke with both the service manager and general manager and they seemed unapologetic and disinterested. They never got back to me....leads me to think the problems at this dealer start at the top and are widespread. Do yourself a favor and take your business and money anywhere else.Added after reply:Problem is Jim, I didnt need a whole new oil pan. After bringing it to another dealer it was discovered that the bolts holding my oil pan were loose...(only finger tight). Either A- someone at your dealership loosened them or B- your tech didnt even bother to check the real cause and recommend a more costly repair. Either way, you lost my business. I went elsewhere and was charged normal time and material without needless repairs.
The staff are very friendly and the service was quick. I was taken care of right away.
Scott was excellent and is a valuable asset to your team!
Vehicle I was interested in was available and we reached an agreed upon price
Josh was great. Just wished the buying process for NH residents was easier.
Corey Upton was amazing to my family, and I. He always makes the buyingprocess so easy.
I Leased my new 2019 Chevy Equinox there in late December. I had the best experience. This company made me feel like family, especially Doug E. It was a friendly and inviting environment. Process went very smoothly and quickly. I got to pick up my new car the very next day! My grandparents lease for their jeep is up in Feb/March, I suggested them to get a Chevy and ask for Doug due to the amazing service. Highly recommended!!
