I never visited Darien Sport Shop in person.I found them online because they were the only store that had a hoodie I had been looking for! I couldn’t but it online so I emailed them… Greg from marketing responded very quickly saying they still had the hoodie and he was holding one for me, all I had to do was give them a call.I called the next morning as they were already closed by the time I saw his response. I was helped by a couple of people over the phone… they quickly located the item that Greg had set aside for me and I completed the purchase with Rachel over the phone!What a great, friendly and helpful group of people! I am so thankful I have found them!Best customer experience ever!Thank you so much guys!

Good service, but they will only help you on the spot with skis if you buy. If you rent, you have to schedule an appointment for weeks out.

My mother drove me to Darien Sports Shop for the finest quality in clothing and custom fittings in footwear. With a huge selection and extraordinary service I’m returning to Darien Sports Shop to find a few key pieces for my fall wardrobe. Highly recommended to everyone I know for excellence in a convenient location. Great store!

Extremely impressed by this store! Went for the first time today and it definitely will not be the last time. The service by Jose and Alex was second to none. They were extremely attentive and helpful in educating me on the different styles/brands they offer. Can’t wait to go back!

Patrick in the sporting goods dept. is a knowledgeable salesman who takes the time to properly fit out my kids. Darien Sport Shop is also a great place when you need a shirt or pair of pants in a hurry

Went in to buy a BSA uniform. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They let me try out a new virtual reality headset they had just gotten in stock for fun. Everything is on the pricey side (what can you expect from a store that requires all employees to wear a suit & tie?), so I probably wouldnt buy too much there.

Nice place but the sporting stuff seems to be a little bit of an afterthought tucked-away up on the second floor. Staff there were very nice, once they realized I was there to do business.

Great service and great selection. Like a little Nordstroms. Hours are geared towards people who dont work but if you are ready to drop some money to look good its a great place.

We routinely rent and buy ski and other sports equipment from the Darien Sport Shop. Although there are 2 floors of clothing etc on the 3rd floor they carry sports and ski equipment attuned to the sports of the season. The staff are excellent and very knowledgeable. Prices are fair, and for childrens ski equipment, it is hard to find a better deal for renting for the season. I rate them five stars particularly for their customer service: the staff went above and beyond several times to make sure we were satisfied with our gear. Excellent establishment, highly recommended.

A must shop/visit when in town. Customer service is phenomenal- we are in a pinch for pants and we had them purchased and hemmed in 20 minutes.

This is a great store! It has possibly everything one would need, from sports equipments, to jewelry, to name brands such as Vineyard Vines!

Went too far off the rails, used to be a local department store that served the local communities needs. But they have gone to pretty much a local Barneys. Expensive, little real world use/selection. limited sizes and very little in the way of actual sporting goods.
