First time going into the store and they did a fantastic job I had accidentally ran over my phone(Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus)at work with my forklift and thought my phone was done for. Came here the next day, dude told me it was going to be an easy fix, within a few hours I came back to get my phone and it look brand new and works perfectly, its like nothing ever happened.!!!

As they say, people review only for extremes. I didnt believe that, but this might be might worst experience and only bad review. I got my iphone screen replaced here. New installed screen is of different size that it blocks the face sensor, can never unlock my phone without fumbling with passwords again (edited since the owner claims I damaged it, clearly stating the sensor stopped as the new screen blocks it. I am ofc not saying the entire 12 years of 100% work is bad). Plus the phone started to behave weirdly, touch input stops at random points in a day and doesnt work until locked-unlocked.Even more painful was that some water indicator was removed or damaged during this repaid, which prohibited my phone from getting upgraded (carrier guy didnt accept because of that. And the carrier guy did tell me how the indicator is often lost during such repairs, again I didnt mean to say you guys did a bad job, but at least should fix if a job goes wrong). Lucky that the carrier guy was a nice fellow and suggested me to try fixing the sensor and he would still take let me upgrade my phone. But when i reached out to the RC store for help for the water sensor, no answer or callback or

Brought my phone in for water damage, they opened it up and said that it most likely would need a motherboard replacement. However sometimes the phone will restart after being opened and reassembled. I decided to get a new one and went to pick it up, and it restarted with no problems. Has worked now for six months. Thank you for great service and for not trying to upcharge!

Last summer (2020) I needed to get my iPhone 7+ battery replaced. I didnt want to jump through all the Apple hoops to get it done, but wanted a reliable battery. I talked to Randy, the owner, who happened to be at the Davis shop. He acknowledged that some after market batteries could be a problem, but hed had good experience with his current supplier. My daughter had dropped her iPhone 7 and cracked the screen pretty badly. When we brought her phone in we weren’t sure it could be fixed. We dropped her phone off and were told to come back a few hours later. When we returned they had replaced the screen and everything looked and worked perfect! Oh my god these guy really made the difference in my day a better one. I came ere stressed and left happy with a fair price and wonderful customer service. If for genuine, honest, people who provide a great service then you found the right place.

At this point I will give one star. I ordered and paid full price $45 to replace the glass on my rear camera. They said they would let me know when it came in and I could bring my phone and it would take an hour to repair. I live about an hour away but occasionaly go to Davis. They let me know the part was in I took A-day off of work to go by there and get that done with a few other chores I could get done in Davis. I go into the store not realizing that it was 10:57 or 10:55 and lights were off which I didnt realize. The man at the counter in kind of a rude tone said didnt you notice the lights are off its not 11 oclock yet. I said I am just here to drop off my phone you guys said the part was in. The woman at the counter said please give us your passcode and we will have it done in about an hour. I leave come back in an hour and a 1/2 to have them tell me we ordered the wrong part youre gonna have to come back Saturday when we get the correct part. Depending on what happens from here will depend on how many more stars they getUpdate: i was contacted by the woman who works the front and was told that she mistakenly ordered the wrong part and that I would be getting a full refund and they would complete the repair for free. My Wife dropped my phone off and picked it up for me and the phone was repaired with precision and my camera works as well as it ever has. Unfortunately no refund was given to my Wife.

Had the perfect experience at this business. Had a fractured black screen on an iPhone 6. Called a few places within 3-5 miles got costs and repair time. Decided to use this business’s service. Service tech was courteous and explained that they didn’t have a “black “ screen in stock, but they did have a white one, and the cost. Also provided me with a little technical info, that was very helpful to me. Picked up phone in an hour, as promised. Great job!

!!A year ago, my iPhone battery was getting hot. RCI quickly, efficiently and affordable fix the problem. They were so great to deal with that I had my husband bring his phone there a few weeks ago. Not only were they able to fix his problem but were able to provide advise to prevent the problem from happening again. They fixed my cracked iPhone screen very quickly and without an appointment. The price was fair and they added a screen protector for an additional $5.Unfortunately, after 3 hours (and after they had closed) my screen went black and I couldn’t use my phone. I used the contact page on their website and heard back right away. I returned my phone the next morning and they replaced the defective screen right away and they offer a warranty on their work.It was inconvenient to return to the shop from my house, hence the 4 stars and not 5.

Brought my phone in after dropping it and shattering its screen. Two months later I still hadnt heard back so I visited the shop, where they had to make a phone call to even figure out what happened to my phone. Apparently it was more damaged than previously thought, and they had to order some more parts. They did call to tell me maybe a week later that they were still waiting on a part to ship, but after that I never heard from them again and I ended up just buying a new phone. Complete waste of money.

Fixed the back camera glass and now camera won’t focus. They said there could have been dust on the lens and there was nothing they could do. Should’ve disclosed that possibility before charging me $70 and simply fixing the cosmetic issue.

I was quite impressed with repair of my mashed iPhone today: good price (about $60 to repair an obliterated screen), extra bonus repair (the person working there also fixed the big dent in my phone), speed (it took less than 30 minutes) and customer service.

In the beginning, the screen of my iphone6 plus was broken, then I changed a screen, and one month later I changed the home button, several weeks later, there is no response when touching the screen. Then I need to go there again and again, because several days later after they fixed it just no reaction again. They are very nice to fix it for free later and even changed the screen again for me. But it just still does not work several days after they fixed it, and I do not want to bother them again because I think some how they could not fix it. I am a little regret to pay so much money to fix it again and again until I realized how much money i paid. I should purchase a new phone with that much of money in the beginning.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!I would not recommend this store for iPhone repairs, you are better off exploring alternatives in Woodland and Sacramento. The technician is unprofessional, he cannot provide an accurate timetable for repairs, and is defensive/rude when talking to customers. I had a phone in the store for 4-5 days and when I went in to check on it, he told me it would require an additional 3-4 days to replace parts, let alone fix the device. Another irritating component is that RC iPhone Repair staff does not communicate well with customers, as Ive spent 2 days attempting to get a hold of the repair technician. And on top of the technical issues, the staff lied about not having my Tory Birch phone case and have subsequently stolen it, as Ive closed out my account with their business.

I got my iPad repaired here a while ago. They’re really fast and nice but they replaced my screen with the wrong part. I was in a rush and didn’t want to wait for them to redo it but it was definitely kind of disappointing. Partially my fault because I could have just asked them to redo it and waited another few hours. But I was in a bind for time so I just took it. In hindsight... I should have at least asked for a discount. I had a white iPad mini and they replaced the screen with a black screen. Plus the feature where the screen shuts off when you close the case (tried with multiple cases) didn’t work anymore after that. The iPad still worked otherwise until the home button stopped working only about 4 months after I replaced the screen. Could have been just coincidence with the home button but I definitely won’t take my repairs here again.

I gave these guys my Iphone 6 to repair. I was never even given a repair tag.After several months i called them to find out the status of my phone. They yanked me around for a while then eventually after multiple calls, none of which were ever returned, i was told that they could not fix it but would send it out to someone who could. Months went by, once again i have to birddog them with multiple call, then more run around. After 9 months i asked that they just give me my phone back, which they did. I did not realize until much later that the phone they gave me was not mine. This phone even had a defective screen which i had just replaced before giving my phone to them.Do not trust these guys.

Bad place don’t repair right they didn’t put on all the screws back didn’t add the wiring right also didn’t include the water resistant seal back on they ruined the whole phone more than it already was had to go to a better cellphone repair shop do not recommend.

I would not recommend. My husband took my iPhone to this store to have a cracked screen replaced. He paid an extra $15 for what we were told was an OEM screen. Ten days later, I wake up and my phone is not working. I took it to Apple, I did NOT tell them I had the screen replaced. They looked at it and told me that the screen was a third party screen and had shorted out the phone. It is not fixable. I returned to RC iPhone repair, hoping they could fix the problem they had caused. The initial tech I spoke with was nice, but then the tech that originally fixed the screen came over. He was extremely rude to me and told me that it was out of warranty due to a 1 cm crack on the right hand corner of the phone. I explained again, that was not the problem, Apple had said it was the third party piece that destroyed the phone, we had paid extra to RC iPhone repair for supposedly OEM parts. He told me again that it did not matter. I said he knew he had effed up my phone, that they should fix it. Again he told me that it did not matter because it was out of warranty due to the crack. Never did he deny putting a third party screen on it, or deny that was the cause of the problem. He just continued to state that it did not matter. So....if they misrepresent the parts they use on your phone and it destroys your phone, dont expect them to make things right!

I walk into the place asking for a help wih my iPhone 6, the guy very humbly assists me, it took him 3 mins. and he says no charge.He clearly fixed an issue for me that required take the screen off, but he made it looks like cake and I slipped him $10 anyway as no good deed should go unpaid.What can I say, 5 out of 5 and Im now a life time customer and will tell all of my friends to go here.

“My worst customer service experience so far. I told a dozen times that I wanted a diagnostic report of my damaged iphone for insurance claim. They kept my device for 4 days saying that their technician is not available, and finally they charged $35 for water damage cleaning, but would say that they could not provide the repair estimate in writing, and still argue that I never asked a diagnostic report. I had to visit another repair shop for the estimate. I would never visit this store in future and would not suggest anyone as well. The front-end employee, called Jack and even the owner, I guess, called Randy were so so rude!” I should have paid attention to their google reviews, my bad. Every time I had to speak to these guys, my whole day went bad, always reminding me how bad my decision was to chose the shop despite seeing poor reviews. I would not give them even one star :(

Quick and easy fix for iphone screen!

Price for replacing a screen on iPhone SE was ok. When I came back afte 1.5 hours (estimated time to get the repair done) it was obvious that the screen used to replace the original is not an Apple product. It sticks out a good 5mm above where the original screen was and the home button is sunken in about 2mm which makes it wobbly and feels weird. So far no problems so I think it is ok.Employees were quiet but very nice and helpful. Don’t misread their quietness and introverted behavior as rudeness. They are tech guys and dealing with people who break tech stuff is probably not their favorite thing. I would recommend to friends and return in the future if I need their service.

I would not recommend this repair store to any of my friends or family. First, prices are exorbitant ($60-100) for basic 10 minute repairs not including parts and the quality of service is not worth the hassle. Secondly, the in store music is vulgar and does not create a welcoming atmosphere. It seems like one of those stores that will be there for one month then turn into a clothing store the next month. Ifix electronics nearby does a better job for a lower price imho..
