I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at this location!!My boyfriend and I worked with John and we had the best experience. He was extremely helpful throughout our buying process. He didnt BS us, gave us honest options on the different furniture we were looking at, and best of all, he didnt breathe down our necks as we were browsing. He gave us the space we wanted but was right there to answer any and and questions that we had. He was very detailed when explaining our purchasing paperwork and we walked out feeling extremely confident with our purchase. Bob, the manager, was also great and very willing to help!!We had such a great experience and will definitely be back!

I dislike posting negative reviews because it can affect those who work at the store. Our in-store experience was satisfactory. Our sales rep, Lonnie, did an excellent job at getting us exactly what we needed and scheduling deliveries. Our deliveries were where issues began. The delivery of couch caused our recently painted room to be damaged. Picture attached. The delivery of our bed also had difficulties. We were told they were missing parts and they could not put the bed together. Later, when I got home, I put the bed together. We were compensated for the damage to the wall. However, we were told to contact the store where we purchased the furniture for a refund to the white glove delivery. Barry, the store manager, never returned our calls. Very frustrating experience. Happy with the quality of the furniture and sales experience. However, the problems with delivery and follow up were enough to make us promise to never shop from Morris again.

Purchased a mattress and box spring for my son Aug 2018. In Feb of 2020, the metal frame and a support of the box spring broke. I began calling and emailing customer care and repeatedly received the message that they were short handed due to the pandemic. However, I did not then and have not yet received a response to more than 2 dozen calls/emails. I visited the now closed store on Woodman about a year ago and talked to the manager, sent him the info he requested and again, nothing. I visited the Fairfield mall store a few months ago and spoke to the manager. I did receive a call after that but was not able to take it at the time and the message was to contact “customer care” at the same number I had called numerous times without success. June 20, 2021, I again visited the Fairfield store and spoke with Kendall who took notes and said she would check on the situation. I called the store again today and was unable to get ahold of any living person. Voice mail hell asked me to “leave a message”. As of today, no attempts have been made to rectify the situation after almost 18 months. I am utterly dismayed at the sheer lack of customer service and communication within this company and will certainly take this into consideration with any further purchases. Buyer beware!!

Purchased a dining room set from this store. The salesperson assured me that they deliver to my city on Saturdays. Turns out they only deliver to my city on Wednesday. Annoying but not the main issue. 5 of the 6 chairs were damaged as was the table top. The delivery people took pictures and wrote a report, and told me that they would tell the store so that another set could be delivered. One of the delivery guys nearly hit one of my hanging lights on the way in with the table top and then had the audacity to say that the light shouldn’t be there in the first place. It’s a typical hanging light you would find above a front door. I currently have the damaged set in my house and two of the chairs have already broken in half. Very poor quality. I contacted customer service and the delivery people did not submit the report, but customer service was able to find it eventually. But the report only listed 3 damaged chairs. I’ve tried to contact someone else in customer service, but I’m on hold for at least 30 minutes each time I call. I work full time, I can’t spend my whole day trying to get someone from customer service on the line. Now I’m waiting for new items to come in, which will probably be wrong. I ordered the set in February, now it late July. Granted, I understand there are lots of covid related delays, but its still frustrating. I have an entire house to furnish and I can say that ordering from this company has been a nightmare. I suppose I’ll take my business elsewhere as I’m sure the issue will not be satisfactorily resolved.

Very poor service. Unable to reach the service department. I had to go in the store and the manager had to contact the service department to get anything done.One cushion was repaired under warranty. Then the other cushion started to come loose and they refused to cover it due to past warranty. Furniture was delivered Feb. 2020. I will not shop at Morris again.This purchase was made at Morris on Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio.

We visited the Morris Home store in Centerville at 5695 Wilmington Pike. We had been in a couple months earlier to look a a cocktail table and wanted to take another look at it, find out about availability, etc. It took 5-10 minutes before we were approached by a salesperson, but wanted to spend a couple minutes just looking at the piece. When a salesperson finally asked if he could help, we had several questions...such as was it available, and if so, when could it be delivered? The tables MSRP was $599.00, and on sale for $349.00. The conversation was as follows:Me: What is the availability of this table? salesman said it depended on whether it was in stock or on order. He checked...said there would be one by the end of the week. I asked if pieces on the floor were ever sold? No, was the answer. My wife asked about returns, in the event she didnt think it looked good with our other furniture. We were told there would be a restocking fee of 15%, and the time frame was within 3 days of delivery. She said Well, I would know within the first 5 minutes after they set it down. It was then the salesman told us that the piece would be dropped off...not set down...as In the house; that is, with standard delivery. If we got White Glove Delivery, they would actually put it in the house. I Asked how much that was, and was told $199. In other words, The table was $349, White Glove Delivery (so we didnt have to schlep the table from the front door to in front of our couch ourselves) would be $199, and if we didnt think it looked the way we liked, it would cost us 15% to be restocked. Im sure we would also have to pay a pickup fee also to have it taken back to the warehouse.In short, I dont believe this salesman had ANY interest in selling us that table. Obviously, we were interested in it, since we came back a second time, and waited around...while he walked back and forth in front of us several times...for someone to help us. He was not willing (or able) to sell us the floor model, even though a replacement would have been there by the end of the week. I cannot believe (and would refuse to pay) an additional $199 fee to have the delivery personnel place this table in front of our couch, vs. leaving it outside the front door...a total of no more than 20.There are plenty of furniture stores in Dayton. I probably will NEVER set foot in a Morris store again, given the ridiculous fees and inability on the part of your salesman to figure out some way to sell a piece of furniture that a customer clearly wants to buy.

Horrible experience....It took 2 months to receive our furniture. The delivery was changed on the day of delivery two separate times. Once they arrived to deliver, we were told the furniture could not be assembled that day and we would have to call the store to schedule another time. The torn box with the bed was pushed up the stairs step by step. After looking at the furniture there were dents on the furniture. To top this horrible experience off, they did not deliver the mattress that went along with the beds. Once I called the store there was no urgency to resolve my problem. I am still waiting on a response from the manager. The furniture is beautiful but the customer service is unacceptable. Please find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money.

My wife and I bought some furniture from this location after they sponsored Homes for Our Troops. There were some hiccups in where to pick up the furniture. The warehouse to pick up was a little difficult to work with. However this location and the manager I believe Jared is unbelievable. He got us all of our furniture and great to work with. Ill be making another purchase soon from them.

I ordered a sectional in the first week of September 2020 and was told it would be delivered the last week of October, then I got an email telling me it would be delayed a few weeks. I stopped in the store and they told me the end of November.I just got another email saying the end of December. Here is my mostly empty room with no sofa for Thanksgiving or Christmas. They don’t care if I have my order or not. I think Morris is pathetic and I have bought several pieces there in the past. They will tell you one date and then change it. I doubt if I will even have it before the first of the year and it was not even custom.An update:I was told February, then I was told MAY. I’ve never been treated more poorly. I went in to speak to the manager again (they weren’t there) and another customer told me they’ve waited for their bedroom set since September, too!Avoid this place. They shouldn’t be allowed to even be in business.This will be my last purchase. They’ve lost a customer.

Awful customer service. Was waiting for someone to pick up for two hours and no one ever did. No transparency about delivery times which far exceed the expected window. Would never recommend. UPDATE: They sent me an automated email in response to this review saying there would be delays but did not respond to any requests for more information as a reply to that automated email.

After 3 other furniture stores, we finally found the perfect couch and oversized chair for our new house. This was thanks to Annette and Barry. Annette was a new employee and Barry graciously stepped in to help her out and us find exactly what we needed. Will definitely be back!

Liars liars liars.....do not buy from them. I have bought so many times in the past and every time they tell you when your furniture will be in is a lie. You need to at least double it. They do not answer the phone I was on hold for one hour today no answer. The sales line no answer. My wife also called today and she was hold for an hour. Horrible customer service. They do not answer the phone and they lie lie lie!!! Beware and buy elsewhere. We bought a new couch and spent over 7k from Arhous another local furniture store. The furniture was hand made to order and we received in 3 weeks. It has now been over 11 weeks waiting for one piece of furniture. Morris is awful.

Poor customer service bought the extended warranty kitchen table is bad call the extended warranty they came out so the table was defected there was nothing they could do with it so do you think that would be it but then they had to send their warranty people out from Morris and they said it was a manufacture defect when they came out to the house so I called them back a week later and they said it’s not under warranty do not buy the warranty it’s a rip off can never get through to customer service And when you do they never call you back you have to wait online for 45 minutes and every time I call back somebody new is in charge I will never buy from Morris again they do not stand behind what they sell
