We founded this place and because we where visiting the are at late afternoon times we could never find 🍩🍩🍩 donuts. Finally we made it early in the day and got a dozen of fresh donuts. Nice and fresh, like homemade.... someone thats been a regular around that area for many years never bothered to visit the place and about 3 years that we just started visiting the are every now and then discovered the place out of curiosity., and now that person is taking credit as if they founded the Bakery Java Express place. By the way great donuts and good coffee. Have to come early in the :am to get a good variety of pastries.

Been to this place numerous times no issues. This morning got donuts to take to the beach got home an went too eat the last few donuts an noticed a German cockroach baked into the glanced donut. I called an all the said was we have inspection. Didn’t apologize or anything. We will not be returning again. This was at Java Express in Daytona Beach.

First time at this place, came over from orlando because the good reviews, and it a good place to stop by, the coffee is very good, and the bagel was very good as well. Asked for cheese and eggs sandwich with tomato in side, got the tomato fried with the omelet.. Dont know what got wrong..

SO GOOD! This place was across from our hotel (Hawaii Motel) and we stopped by for morning coffee. We both got lg coffees with cream and sugar. I got a shot of toasted almond mocha and my boyfriend got hazelnut. The coffee is delicious!! Totally hit the spot and gave me life! 😁 My boyfriend probably raved about his sausage and cheese on an English muffin for 20 minutes and said its the best breakfast hes had in a long time! It looked and tasted like a homemade sausage patty and not some fake/microwave stuff. It was like $10.97 for all of it too!The family running the shop was very friendly too. We will definitely come back if we are in Daytona again!

Not your usual donut shop. Lots of different donuts and smoothies, lattes, and other fancy drinks. I had coffee and it was really good. Hubby likes plain donuts and said they were the best of anywhere weve tried. I like the fancy ones. I got a bacon chocolate one. The donut was warm, the chocolate panache was divine and on top was not the little sprinkle of bacon bits I expected, but a whole piece of just cooked bacon, cut into about 8 pieces. Wow. The owners and family are so sweet.

Ive lived in the area for about 2 years now, Ive always just passed by this place, Ive always noticed the locals sitting there eating and drinking their coffee there faithfully every day. However, it wasnt until the other day that i decided to go, and I am SO MAD at myself for not going sooner. Their food is amazing and it reminds me of my NYC everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese that I used to get. This is by far the CLOSEST thing to it outside of NY. I promise you there will be no disappointments entering this establishment. Beautiful staff and super nice!

Out of all the places I could’ve chosen to go to while at the beach, this early morning run was the best decision of my stay at Daytona!! They have THE BEST DONUTS...you have to try the apple sticks!! Be sure to go there before 10 am and you’ll get to try any donut your heart desires. Plus, the iced coffee? To die for. Giant 32oz of fresh iced coffee was only 2 dollars and some change. Love this place!!

We are always on the hunt for a good donut shop when we go to the beach. This place is just that! We came here every single morning while we were in town. Truly some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. And the bagels were phenomenal as well! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back again next time we visit Daytona.

To start off the donuts are excellent tasting but having been a customer for some time they are pricing themselves out of business.The coffee on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give a 7. The girls that work there are all very pleasant however the lady owner can carry an attitude if you complain about anything. Also forget about sitting inside in early morning. The same group takes up most of the inside tables every morning and sits there for hours usually till about 9:30am. They are Also very loud people.The specialty coffees are expensive and depending on who makes them can be good. All in all I recommend the donuts but they are expensive!

This place makes good donuts but never has any... Except for the garbage ones nobody wants.... If you want to keep customers try having more than only 2 of each donuts... Some people dont live in walking distance and drive out of their way to come to your fine establishment only to be disappointed every time

They make their donuts fresh each day (unlike a national chain that makes them in a factory and ships them frozen)... So, you can taste the difference!Also, their coffee tastes good... At least on-par with said national chain, but probably better!
