Great experience with Dumas Flooring. Professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. Shannon provided helpful assistance in picking the right flooring. I had checked other stores including the “big box” home improvement stores before choosing Dumas. They were also recommended by several friends who were repeat customers. I had 1,000 sq ft of flooring installed by their professional installers. I continue to be pleased with my flooring! I would return to them with any other flooring needs.

Started our job and left numerous times. After starting in October 2018, finally finished May 2019. Quality to detail is terrible. Trim work and cuttings look like an amateur did it. You can see saw marks on trim for stairs. Didn’t put 2 x 4’s on curb in shower which caused major issues with door. Numerous areas where new flooring not cut correctly around door trims and you can see old flooring. Sloppy grout work in showed left on walls around shower.

Top Grade folks to do business with. Straight-forward, honest, know their trade in the carpet business. No pressure and their knowledge is very important to a satisfactory completion. Great service! Only place I buy flooring! Theyve installed carpet and hardwood for me in the past. Now getting some gorgeous vinyl flooring and a backsplash for the kitchen.

Horrible experience. Used them twice. The first time they replaced damaged hardwood from a water leak and had to call twice to get them to put the baseboards back down. Second time, used to match the previous floor to an adjoining room. Took FOREVER. They were supposed to call before showing up and didnt. And still only SAT the trim between the hardwood and tile in place, instead of anchoring. Ended up receiving a final bill that was much more than quoted. NEVER AGAIN!

I had a terrible experience with Dumas Flooring covering. I had always heard good things about them but mine was not a good experience. First of all I was given a day the flooring would be in and I was ready and waiting for them when they called to say my floor covering was not on the truck. Then it was several more days, when I ended up with a incompetent installer. After talking with Dumas they came out to inspect and all the moulding had to be redone and I still have bubbles in my flooring. Their representative assured me they would be giving me a discount which only ended up being $100. I dont usually do this but I hope this will help someone else.

Friendly staff and large show room. A large selection of flooring and carpet. I found the staff to be helpful and professional, I have talked to several different people who has done business with them. They referred us to them, I would recommend them to everybody else!

The Dumas are quick to say we can do the job now and say they can finish it in one day. The will be higher for quick orders. Paid in advance and to in stock materials, Dumas started the next day, Friday. By noon of the same day they left and only did approximately 40% of the work. The painter were scheduled to paint on that following Tuesday, but had cancel due to Dumas broken work. The main lady at Dumas stated that they will a crew to finish the work on Tuesday. Well another set a misleading events shaped the disbelieve of Dumas, The crew had a commercial project to that needed to be done, and should be the to finish that Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon comes and they (Dumas) the person that was to the floor became sick and went home. But in every issue of not showing up we had to contact Dumas to fine out what happen. The every room required new flooring now and what type flooring for each room of the house. Now here comes the kicker On May 28, 2014 they show up and did some more work left this room is not include and will require additional money to floor it. They must think we are Dum Azz

Horrible experience! I bought hardwood flooring but when we started open the flooring for installment there were 5 boxes that were the wrong color and 12 more that were bad and had to be swapped out. The flooring had dents, holes, and Knicks in it. When I told dumas about it they said we bought contractor grade hardwood and that is why they told us to buy extra. All the contractors I talked to have never heard of contractor grade finished hardwood. They told me to use wood putty for the Knicks and holes, youll never notice it they said. We were getting 1 good box to every 3. So with their logic I should have bought 60 boxes instead of 20 to make sure I had enough. Then we also ordered luxury vinyl tile from them at the same time. It was special order and took a few days to get here. Once we started installing the floor we found one of the boxes had been dropped and the tiles were bad but we had enough to finish the job. Once completed I called them to ask if I could return the extra flooring and the box of damaged flooring and they said they wont take returns for special order flooring which is understandable but heres the kicker. I said well what about the bad box of flooring? Can I return it and get my money back or another box of flooring and her reply was this: no, thats why we tell you to order extra! I learned my lesson and will never use Dumas again and I hope this makes it easier for someone who is thinking of using them to make the decision not to also.
