Love the Staff here! I had an early meeting and forgot my charger....needless to say, when my charge dropped to 10%...I was in a pickle. So, I stopped and asked if they would help....they did!! Now I am up to 75% ...and good to finish my day! Thank you, Verizon for your awesome staff and service!
The store manager at this location goes above and beyond! She is both very knowledgeable and very friendly, a fantastic combination.
My wife and inlaws went to the store looking for phones and infomation about plans, it shock me to hear that the salesman was trying to be cool with other employees instead of doing there job they are getting over paid for. then when they bought phones and upgreaded there plan the phone had to be ordered so they said send it to verizon store and they would come and get it. when they came to get it they were told it was sent to there home after they told them not to do that.humm when they made them check ohh my god they found it ... again humm this store is too black for white clinte.but i digress mabey if they stayed on top of this verzion would have had it ready when they got there.but employees now think that they need cuddeling after ever sale. after recivieing a post to my crtic, i think that the store manger be fired.. and most of the staff.not even a call from the manager . they dont practis what they preach there. dont send them your biuness

Rude manager......very rude. Verizon is a fantastic company. they just have the wrong person as a manager. she identified herself as the manager, no name tag or business card and she was hiding behind her mask. if you must go...try your best to avoid a short, fat, person of color.
I had a great experience. I dealt with Enrique he was perfect he was able to answer questions as fast as I asked them. The only negative part of the experience was the mask requirement which hopefully ends in 2 days.
I had purchased a new phone to begin 2021 and was wishing for a fresh new beginning. The phone couldnt receive or post MMS messages which created a multitudes of complicationsAfter 3 attempts to remedy via the tech line of customer service I took the problem to our local Verizon office. The young women fixed the anomaly quickly efficiently and graciously. Thanks MIRACLE(her honest to goodness name) New beginnings! Thank You!
Horrible customer service! I needed to get a new phone. I came in at 7:40. An employee by the name of Damion told me to make an appointment because they were about to close. I was the only one in the store. It was unbelievable. Chose not to go with Verizon because if this. Hire people that actually want to work!
Great store and atmosphere. I walked in with my small child for prices for me and my family. We all know this pandemic can have people on edge and I’m one of those people. I have elderly parents and small children. This store literally cleaned the station before I walked up and after. Seeing this made me feel very safe. My small child is full of energy and I know can be a hand full. They were very patient with me and really made my day since sometimes I get embarrassed of all the energy she has. Overall, very professional, hospitable, & friendly.

She could not help with what a former sales rep did in 2016 when phone was purchased. She didnt seem very motivated to solve my request.
The employee didnt know what he was talking about. Told us it wasnt his job to help us fix our phone and that it probably just needed an update or something.

Have lung and breathing health issues. I had to lower the mask a little below my nose to breathe. Rude, very rude clerk told me I had to have it above my nose or leave. I tried to explain ADA make some considerations for us with breathing disabilities. He still told me I had to leave or leave the mask all the way up. I left. I was not near any person or touching any product or counters. I left.... And I am VERY PROUD I DO NOT HAVE VERIZON NOW. NOR WILL I EVER. I am a senior over 70. I am polite and obey rules. Some reasonable accomodations to leave the mask below my nose could have been acceptable. This was at the Beltline and Hwy 31 location in Decatur Al.Rude power hungry clerk!
When did verizon stop repairing or replacing phones in store? Thats the only reason I switched to verizon 5 years ago. Definitely considering a different provider.
Terrible customer service. Rude employees that truly do not care about your concerns about your plan. Drive to Huntsville for hopefully a better experience. Truly disappointed.

I used the app to check in for curbside pick up but had to go into store after 20 minutes of waiting only to find out they didnt get the check in notification.

I share 2 stars because my first experience here was AMAZING thanks to Amiracle... She was such a great help and kind person. Today however, I went in to add a new line to my account. Its raining outside, and i have a terrible immune system on too of being pregnant. A man (unsure of his name he didnt inform us of that!) Made us stand out in the cool rain while he assited another customer. I completely understand covid regulations changing things at this moment, but honestly, i think you should have coverings outside for rainy days... Or allow customers inside your store. Might i add, unidentified man did not* help us and had slight attitude this morning.
They show no interest in my visit. Asked about new phones and upgrades, just was nonetheless involved in showing me anything.

Came in looking to trade in a phone that T-mobile would no unlock. Had a HORRIBLE experience at an authorized retailer in Cullman so was not expecting much. DO NOT GO TO Cellular Sales HWY 157 Cullman, they will RIP YOU OFF with their own set up fees, etc... The guy here in Decatur pulled up some trade in offers on my son Iphone XR and initially was fairly happy. But after doing some more research he was actually able to get my son upgraded to a Iphone 12 for FREE (Minus the $40 upgrade fee). I told him about my issues in Cullman and he was astounded. He also gave me codes for the new customer rebates totaling $550 that Cullman should have given me. This guy went above and beyond and can not thank him enough for a good experience. I wish that I could remember his name to give him appropriate props on here.

Walked in, gentleman held the door for me. Needed a sim card for my account. He took less than five minutes, and even set it up on the phone for me. This is the second Excellent experience at this particular store for me. Hey you at Verizon Corporate-Give these guys a raise. They deserve it!
I got a arlo camera system paid everything. Also I got a prepaid contract. From what I understood you only pay for what you use . I did not need it anymore so I never prepaid anymore. Verizon ended up hitting my credit score . So I am hitting their feedback
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perhaps most importantly they served me efficiently. I went in today about an hour before they were supposed to close intending to upgrade my phone. They helped me select a new phone and set it up. I was finished and out the door within half an hour.
Spoke with Sheila of tech support over the phone at length yesterday trying to resolve issues with my phone. She spent probably 2 hours trying to troubleshoot the issue, and was very patient and helpful. It turns out the phone is going to have to be replaced after only 11 months, which of course Im not happy about, but she certainly did her part! Of course I dont know yet how the new phone is going to work out.
Was trying to upgrade my phone, representitive was not helpful at all. Didnt have either of the phones I was deciding between available. Didnt offer to locate anything, just a, nope we dont have those, and sorry, have a nice day. Went to another Verizon got just what I was looking for, got to check out the other model I was considering, and additionally upgraded my girlfriends phone early while we were there. Carl T. Jones location is much better that the Decatur store.
Sad. People were ready to help. NOT a Verizon authorized dealer. Watch out. Was there on black Friday. The salesman was only going to give me 150 off my new phone. Went to the Madison location on hwy 72. I have my note 10 with a $400 discount. Happy beyond belief I am now
Corporate store on the Beltline in Decatur 95% of the time theyre always able to take care of me the other 5% of the time they refer me to an 800 number I would love it if they had more in-store employees with the ability to work on our technology device and show us, so you dont have to come back into the store
This has been our for service for 10 years we wont use any other companies. The plans are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The products are first class and at very reasonable prices with sales all the time
Perfect Experience. Ryan helped me and he was very patient. More importantly.. Honest, he didnt try to over sell me on things that we didnt need. Took the time to explain everything to my grandmother. Request him... he will get you in and out and take care of you and your needs.I would bet money that all these other people that complained are still Verizon customers. Go to T-Mobile, Go to ATT... enjoy your dropped calls and lack of cellular connection. Its not a bad thing for people to ask you about your day to make small talk. Why not have someone greet you when you walk in the store? What are your going to do in the store without a Rep anyway? Nothing!

I felt like a valued customer, unlike at my previous phone company (att) . In store is the same way . I am very pleased so far and totally recommend it, besides it having great service where I live and pretty much everywhere else even when I go way out into the country side . Thank you Verizon !

I had the absolute BEST service at this store. I was going through a difficult time getting my phone replaced and the one I had was broken. My father was literally dieing in the hospital and I NEEDED to have a working phone I. Order to get any important calls from the hospital. The manager was great, got my billing and ordering issues resolved and even let me use a loaner phone until my new one came in so that I wouldnt miss any calls from the hospital. I cant thank them all enough for the help and understanding they gave me!!

I called the store before coming in asking if they had a specific phone in stock and I was told yes we have it, I then said, do you have a lot of them in stock because Im 30 minutes away? I was told, oh yes, we have plenty so come on down youll be fine. Ok, great! I go ahead and spend the $20 on an Uber ride and get here and guess what?! They dont have the phone! So I get to waste $40 round trip in Uber rides for nothing. Ridiculous!

They honored the online offer that neither Cullman store would. Cullman wanted to jack the price up $100 more than the offer that they actually looked at in store! Decatur was very helpful, processed my purchase in no time and were very happy to help. Now my new Verizon store.

The store is always clean and you are greeted at the door and assigned an associate. Only on busy days does that become a problem because you may have to wait for an associate to become free. They have not satisfied problems to my complete satisfaction but they do try.
Everytime i go in this store to make a payment they cant be bothered with me unless i am buying something. This is very poor customer service.

We went in to buy a phone for our daughter to use while the one she had upgraded to(from them, never charged properly, of course wanted us to upgrade again) was sent off for repair. First thing, well you can upgrade to an iPhone 8. No, we just need something for her to use until her phone gets back. Sold us a low end Android phone and somehow we still had to pay an upgrade fee. Now it was bad enough we couldnt get her a phone anywhere but the store, but in order for her to use it we had to pay for a downgrade. Thanks. Well move her to ATT when her phone dies. Why is it that theres no issue going from one phone to another with all the other carriers?
Verizon, you are the worst wireless phone company in history. I thought ATT was bad but you have them beat. So a $1000 phone was ordered fraudulently under our account. It was sent to my house after we already notified them that it was fraud. Told to return the phone at the Decatur store, where several incompetent people work and have no customer service skills. WORST OFFICIAL VERIZON STORE ON THE PLANET. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Verizon fraud was supposed to call the store and let them know we were returning the phone so they could send it back from there but she said she did not care because AINT NOBODY RETURNING NO PHONE TO MY STORE. YOU GONE TAKE THIS PHONE TO FED EX. ITS RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. Well now Mam, you would be upset too if you were dealing with You!!!! And this is a FRAUD CASE. YOU WOULD BE ANGRY TOO!! They didnt care to help me because i wasnt buying a phone. They gave me a number to call. I sat in the store while dialing the number. I was put on hold because I didnt want to chat i left the store and kept the phone on....it was 25 minutes before i talked to an actual person.

I would give negative stars if possible! My Droid 4 battery was running down daily ~10 months ago (everything else fine); talked to them & they sent me to their authorized service Batteries Plus to have the battery replaced for $40. Batteries Plus pulled the old battery, and then the phone ceased working completely. Verizon would not take the non-functioning phone on trade in or credit, & sold me a new Droid MAXX2 for ~$400 since there was no other option. The MAXX2 is poor quality & I wanted to trade it in on something else, but now Verizon says the value of this 10-month-old phone (that they still sell) is only $54! What a racket - I will find any other option than these guys ...

Went in on May 26, 2018. The customer service was horrible. The guy was not helpful at all and when my husband said that maybe we should look at switching carriers since they were treating us so poorly after I have been a customer there for 8 years. The guy just shrugged his shoulders, said Whatever, and walked away. I switched that day.

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!! Went Friday pm to buy a phone just like the one I had except for the crack on mine. I had a pre-paid scratch off for $50.00 which gave me 7 GBs w/roll over and unlimited talk&text. They got me exact phone with/2 GBs(no roll over)w/a Humm device for $65.00. I got it and they were suppose to roll over my contacts and photos but when I got home neither was done. Went back next day to get it fixed and the lady (assistant manager- problem fixer)!!! who was supposed to of changed things the day before started helping me and then walked away saying she would get someone else to take care of me.15minutes later she was walking around playing with her phone-ignoring me. Finally I asked her what was going on?? Is someone going to help me here? She replied hastily someone will be with me in a bit. She wasnt busy with anyone else. Finally another person came and helped me. She was very nice and accommodating. It took awhileto get things done but the lady was very nice and helped me out with any questions I had written down. Sunday I was trying to get into my Verizon account and it kept saying my phone# and my pin werent correct. I wrote everything down. I always use same pin and e-mail. Couldnt get into several things!!! Finally got into my account and it said I had used 40% of my data in 3 days!!! I didnt use anything to of used any data!!! Then I saw my bill was $140.00 something!!! I flipped!! Final straw that broke the camels back... It took them 2 and 3 quarter hours to get this taken care of!!! It took 2&a half hours Friday to get the phone. 2hours and 15 minutes to get contacts&photos switched on Saturday then 2and a half hours on Monday to close my new Verizon out and put my # back on my old phone. Again Tiffiney was helping me-then she told another employee to make sure everything was taken care of before I left. The kid thought he had. I checked a few things and wasnt able get into something(frustrated by then). Tiffanney came back and did something and it was alright. She kind of shoved the phone to me and said,there. All I could say was, I hope I never need to come back to this store. While I was waiting- another customer came in complaining about one of the watches he had bought for his X wife and he got the same treatment. All I could tell him was GOOD LUCK. I probably should of gone to Jones Valley instead of Decatur, Alabama off the Beltline!!! By the way I had to drive 35 miles one-way. Figure that out...210 miles for a bummer of a deal!!! They dont even deserve a star!!!!!!
The employees along with the manager making fun of a disabeled young girl is horrible. I hope you all lose your jobs. Taking pics of her, laughing, pointing, then for the manager to refuse to give names. The district office needs to ck into this about violating her rights. Sounds like a hate crime to me.
