Came in to pawn my rag band glasses and the staff in the store were all very helpful. They went above and beyond for me including helping me look at other pawn shops to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. Decatur Jewerly and Antiques has a great gun shop with very helpful staff especially “Lana”. Have had wonderful service from them. The lady at the pay window “Debbie” is so kind and a pleasure to work with. Their ammo prices are as fair as any gun shop.

After my dealings with this company I see now that they pump there own reviews attention to the 1 star reviews because sadly to say they are true. I dealt with Perry who seemed sketchy at best, it is what it is. I will go elsewhere next time. Stay away.

Loads magazine into a firearm that he fails to check to see if its loaded. IT IS. Points gun at wall & pulls trigger, blasting his wall. Tries hiding stupidity from wife & kids. He FAILS every gun safety fundamental there is. Hes embarrassed & asks to return firearm because its defective.I explain how he failed every gun safety measure & suggest he takes a gun safety course before owning a firearm. Of course, this is all our fault. Enough said.1. I had a snap cap in one hand and a bullet in the other and mixed them up by accident. (As I told Perry the owner)2. I do NOT HAVE A WIFE OR KIDS! (He has completely fabricated that nonsense)3. I NEVER claimed the gun was defective.4. The only fault that Perry and his shop are responsible for is the fact that I was told the gun was new, or I would not have purchased it.5. Why dont we honest people just puke at the thought of this pitiful putz and move on.

Perry is one of the most unprofessional, vindictive pawn brokers Ive encountered in my 34 years in business. He backed out of a commitment to by 1100 ozt of silver via a facebook message. Believe me, do not do business with him or Decatur jewelry and pawn. It will not turn out good for you. I highly recommend a more reputable dealer. Do not do business with this company.

First time Ive not went with my jeweler to have a repair done. Im so glad I went to Decatur jewelry and pawn. The ring turned out way better than expected and to be honest I was thinking of scraping it. It literally looks brand new. Not only did they repair but entire ring was buffed. Im very impressed. Im a firm believer in getting what you pay for and for the price they estimated I was sure it would atleast triple on pick up. Nope, exactly what they said. I cant believe the quality of work for so cheap. Ive got a new jeweler now. Thanks !!!

Great family friendly store! I went in to look for a instrument for my child and found a very reasonably priced clarinet. I found out they do in house jewelry repair and have a great selection of beautiful new and pre-owned jewelry. Top notch, nothing I would ever expect when thinking of a pawn shop. This is a superb store that takes great care of all their customers. I have had prize possessions repaired from their top notch jeweler, a few watch batteries replaced. I even scored a very nice diamond ring for a great price. The young lady behind the jewelry counter was very sweet and helpful. She was a delight to work with. Overall a great experience no matter what your needs are.

I always walk out happy and glad that I came. The staff are all very nice and make you feel very comfortable. When you walk in you do not get that scummy feeling like with alot of pawn places. Gerri, the very meticulous jeweler, does excellent work and strives for customer satisfaction. She checks all mounts whenever something is brought in and makes sure all stones are snug and safe. She stands behind her work. She’s courteous and pays great attention to detail. Costs for repairs are generally better than their competitors. I highly recommend Decatur Jewelry and Pawn.
