I drove into Derby from Dallas with no a/c and I absolutely could not make that trip back to Dallas without getting my a/c fixed. I phone Meineke Car Care Center and they told me to come right in to get it fixed. Unfortunately the price was outside of what I expected, because of the parts, however I was offered and approved for financing and I was able to get my vehicle serviced. They were timely and the staff is absolutely awesome and professional. I will highly recommend for all local residents and friends to use their services. Thanks so much for everything 😊😊😊

They told me it was an 8 hr repair and wanted to charge me $1200 for the repair of a $23 part. I went to another mechanic and he fixed my problem in less than hr. I paid $80 for a miss diagnosed problem at mieneke and when I called back to let them know there was no apology or concern just an OK, Ill pass it on.

Jordan was very kind, respectful and professional. The service was great. Got what I needed done at a decent price and got it all done pretty fast. Loved the experience all around. A very nice group of people.

I travel 30 minutes out of my way to go to this Meineke because this specific location (Derby, KS) just does it right and they really work with you. They have flexible appointment times, they educate you instead of just swindling you, and get you under the hood to describe exactly what is going on. I appreciate their service far above others and couldnt recommend them more!

Ive been using them for years. I usually use them for oil changes. They are quick and efficient with them. I went in today because I had a grinding sound. They did a free maintenance checkup. Jordan, Brian and Chris were very helpful. They noticed something was loose and fixed it, no charge. Ill be going back to them for sure.

Everyone was very polite, the mechanic did a great job repairing my serpentine belt and thermostat.The guy at the front desk was professional for the most part but a little pushy about getting my truck repaired. I felt like the repairs were a little expensive for what was actually done but Im sure that can be said about any repair at any shop right?The only thing I was really disappointed with was when I paid for the $500 repair, they charged me a $20 convenience fee to pay by card. The guy at the front desk never informed me of the fee before I came to pay or I would have obviously brought cash in order to avoid the fee. He mentioned that he gave me a $60 loyalty discount for the repairs so I actually saved $40 😆Ive had several things done at Meineke in Derby in the past but this will be my last time. The $20 convenience fee to use my credit card made me an unhappy customer in the end.

The servicing of the vehicle was done right. My biggest issue was the then not being 100% clear on what they were doing. I asked for a simple oil change and they did an additional carbon clean up that they suggested and I approved. They also did a brake system flush and I didn’t read the paper thoroughly enough to catch it but all they did was point and never covered the price. Cost me an addition $200 dollars.

I have used Meineke in the past and always been happy this time ...not at all ...I wanted a new battery, thermostat and is possible I had recorded a sound it makes when you unlock it at times . appointment at 7:30 . Now noon I had to call them .NOW chose Battery, thermostat still nothing done tell him to please forgot about sound just get it done ..4:00 ...call Miss your car is done. The photos show that they did not clean the connection before the hooked up a $200. Battery.. WHO DOSE THIS ... MEINEKE

Thank you for the no pressure service. Several other places use peoples lack of vehicle knowledge to get them to buy other services. Yesterday, I asked for an oil change, and got an oil change. Nothing extra. It was great!

Since I’ve moved to Kansas this is the only place I will take my car. They always provide excellent service, work in a timely fashion, explain everything in great detail, and do not pressure their customers into anything like some car shops do. They got me in quickly, it was the price I was told in the beginning. The told me about some possible other issues that they noticed but DID NOT pressure me into spending more money. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEN AGAIN!!!

I made an appointment for an alignment for 11:30 Friday morning. When I arrived I was informed there would be a 45 minute wait and was offered a ride home. I took the ride home and called several times to see if my vehicle was done. I was finally told at 2pm that my car would be done by 3:30. I called at 3 to double check and was told the alignment machine hadnt been working and they had parts on order but I could come get my car. I had to find a ride to pick up my vehicle after I was told they would bring me back to get it. So after 4 hours of waiting my car hadnt even been moved from the parking lot. A huge waste of time!

Jordan was very helpful when going over my car repairs, he broke down everything that was wrong and why. He even prioritized an itemized list of issues of things that were immediate and things that can wait. Super kind super helpful. Special thanks to Larry for fixing my car quickly, and getting me back on the road. Will definitely be back.

These guys were great. The manager took me out to shop with my car in the air, he shook everything down right in front of me, and even made me grab and feel what they found was loose on my truck. Ive had some bad experiences with shops in the past with dishonesty, but these guy took the time to make sure I fully understood the problem and the issue I was having. I really felt like they cared. I was stuck at work and running quite a bit behind for my appointment time, but they were very understanding and took good care of me. Got my car done quickly and efficiently. Very good price compared to others as well.

I go to Derby ok spent $800. I have use them but in Wichita let just say more happy in Wichita then derby wonderful work but when I drove off hour later my care is whistle you can here mile away. I believe I wont to stick with Wichita service thay do me well.

I am pleased in working both with Brian & Larry management on this service. I have worked with & known Brian for many years and feel I can trust his expertise & opinions. Larry worked with me on the 6 month interest free promo through the Meineke card as well as arranging for a tech to drive my car to my house & I then took the tech back to the shop & this was very helpful since I am single living alone.My only negative experience and/suggestion is that they should provide a courtesy vacuuming service as part of the overall service. When getting in my vehicle after it was there, I also initially smelled what I believe to be cigarettes, so someone who smokes (I don’t) probably drove it while smoking or after they smoked & I didn’t care for that odor.

Jordan was very professional and detailed when I discussed the issues with my car. I originally went in to get an oil change. We also discussed my A/C issues. His mechanics checked out my car only and found that my CB joint was on the verge of causing my possible and imminent death lol. They were able to repair all issues and.co.plete my oil change I only a few hours.If I had to give ding Jordan on anything, it would be his poor joke telling skills. My Google hub tells better jokes.

Meineke found us a new steering column and replaced it. Larry with Derby KS Meineke is amazing! Truly appreciated that he kept in touch with me in regards to what needed fixed on my vehicle and the costs associated with it. He is very knowledgeable and great to work with!!!

Larry did an incredible job being fully transparent and professional every step of the way. He clearly explained what was wrong and I was in and out on the same day. The mechanic that worked on my car did an incredible job also. Definitely found a new home for all of my car maintenance needs! Highly recommend.

I have been going to this shop for basic routine stuff for years with no issues. Apparently they have changed management recently. Took my car in for a quick tire rotation and trip check and they came up with $1300 worth of work it “needed”. Said my transmission fluid was “burnt smelling”. I had a transmission drain and fill done at my dealership 3 months ago. Said my brake fluid was discolored. I’d had a brake fluid flush done at this exact shop 4,000 miles ago. Said my front struts were bad, my throttle body was “due” and my CV axle joint was loose. The car only has 75k miles on it and given that two of the things were obviously lies, I took my car to my dealership for a second opinion to confirm my own suspicions. Lo and behold, every single thing Meineke told me was needing done was a complete lie. I will never return to this shop since apparently now their modus operandi is to lie to customers and try to cheat and worry people who don’t know any better out of their money. These are shameful business practices and they won’t see another penny from me.

My low tire light came on and I did not know if I had picked up something in a tire or if it was low due to cold weather. This business was close to where I was at the time and I stopped to have them check the tires. They were courteous, looked at my tires promptly and when the did not find any punctures, put air in the tires. They did not charge me for this service. I will absolutely use them in the future. I could not have had a better experience.

Ive been coming to this Meineke for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed with the service provided. The guys there always take good care of our vehicles and always explain what they do and anything issues they discover or might need attention in the future.

Ill never go back. After over a decade of having my vehicles serviced at this location I have vowed to never go back. My two most recent visits left a horrible taste in my mouth and a dent in my wallet when I had to take my car to the dealership to rectify what meineke did wrong.

Whomever worked on my vehicle crashed it into a pole and put a yellow stripe down the passenger side of the truck. I didn’t notice it till later in the day because I never walked to that side of the vehicle. Nobody bothered to tell me about it at the shop and that is very unprofessional.

What a great experience. I had been putting off getting my suv in for service and was able to get in and out quickly with efficiency. Feel that I was charged fairly and not forced into unnecessary services. Brian made some recommendations for future service which I found very helpful. Looks like I found my go-to location for all of our auto needs.

I had a small job (repairing a rotten end of a crossover pipe) that was promised to be done within three days. It took six. I understand employees get sick and the business can suddenly get busy. I should have been notified there was a delay. Customer service could be better. The actual workmanship lacks attention to detail - my exhaust flange was installed backwards. I’ll update this as to whether it actually seals my pipe to the manifold.

On March 30th myself and my husband took our truck to Meineke in Derby Kansas to have an oil leak and transmission leak fixed on our 1995 Ford F-150. We dropped off our truck and went back to the house and waited for the representative to call us and let us know what they had diagnosed. A few hours later the technician Brian called and informed us of a long list of things that they had found and that it would cost $2,000 to have everything fixed. My husband asked if after having all of that done if that would correct the oil and transmission leak and Brian assured us that it would completely take care of the problem. So we agreed. The next morning I had called to see what the status was on the truck and a gentleman informed that Brian was doing the finishing touches to the truck now and I should hear back from them shortly. Two or three hours go by before we hear anything. We go and pick up the truck we were happy to have the truck back thinking it was fixed, we thought everything was good again. On Easter we went to a family function at which time we noticed there was a small puddle of transmission fluid under the truck so the next day my husband called Meineke and we wound up taking the truck back in so they could take a look again. This time they called and inform my husband that they found the leak it is now the rear gasket seal so we have to replace the rear gasket at cost of $618.14 in total. My husband informed Brian that we just cant afford to do it at this time having just given them $2013.96. Brian then said he would give us a discount to bring the total down to $530.36. We have to have the truck to make our living so we had no choice again and agreed to have the problem finally fixed once and for all. Once we pick up the car the total is actually $572.79 course we paid it. We brought the truck home park it in the driveway and realize that it is still leaking transmission fluid. We have given Meineke almost $3,000 to fix the problem it was taken in for originally which was the oil leak and transmission leak what in Gods name they actually did I have no idea other than take our money and not fix our problem. I was going over the invoice from our original visit and noticed how absurd the prices are for some of the things they claim to have done for us. For instance they charged us $129 to flip a brake pad over not to replace it not to rotate it but to flip it over because apparently it was put in upside down and it was only one brake pad but yet you can go and get your break a whole brake job replacing everything for $159 at the same Meineke am I the only one that this does not make sense to. I believe 100% that the Meineke in Derby Kansas are Liars & Crooks who will do nothing but tell you what you need to hear in order to get as much of your money as they can for doing as little as they can. We will be taking our truck to the Ford dealership to find out exactly what if anything was done to our truck and then as soon as we leave there we will be proceeding to our lawyers office to begin taking legal action. They cannot get away with doing this to people! They should not be allowed to do this to people! I implore you if you need something done to your vehical whether it be an oil change, brakes or anything else please take it anywhere other than the Meineken in Derby, Kansas unless you just like to give your money away for nothing!!!!!!!! Worst car care center I have ever been to including 6 other states.

I originally contacted Midas (this time) because my air conditioning was not getting cold quickly. I had tried one of those OTC A/C charging kits with no success. It said the car had enough freon... Enter Midas. They told me it was going to cost something like $120. Once I got there, they were professional and courteous. They did the job quickly, and it was $40 cheaper. Very happy.

They got us in and out in a very timely manner and were extremely friendly and helpful. My son loves to go in and see the old school vending machine. I know they’re taking care of my vehicle in the best possible way.

Car problems started on Sunday afternoon was able to get on line appointment for Monday morning and was back on road by 2 pm

Charged me a 150$ just to tell me they couldnt find the problem with a scan tool (a 5 min job) and didnt do other work I asked for or acted like I asked them after the fact like the front desk person didnt even listen to what I asked for when I dropped my vehicle off should if just turned around then when they barely even would talk to me about what work I was needing done

Best service around. They dont take advantage of you, Brian is fair & honest. He even helped me track down my Uber driver to get my cell phone back that I had left in the car. If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend them hard working Meineke men!

They let me know what will/should be worked on or changed but are never pushy about the matter...which is something I like very much. Thursday Aug. 12, 21 So I had to take my new vehicle in for one of the craziest things, someone(not me)had put wiper fluid in the wrong spot🤪…this IS why the pictures are there 😆😆. Anyway, I have never been made to feel like I’m just a woman and always treated with respect. I also had a strange request to ask them…”is there any way that you could remove a body for me?” We had managed to hit a poor bird that didn’t move fast enough, we had no way of moving, and the entire thing was wedged in the grill. I am very grateful that they as I’m unable to crawl under and do it myself. We will continue to be loyal customers, thank you Meineke.

I was impressed that when I walked in the door I was greeted with my name even though it had been a long time since I had been there. I was also impressed that they did not try to sell me unnecessary items but were honest and frank about when they think I may need certain repairs which gives me time to save the money I need to do them. We take 3 vehicles to Meinecke in Derby, have for years! Brian Simpson takes care of everything, awesome service! I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on a Wednesday, two weeks ago, when I left, I lost a hubcap 2 blocks down the street and the top of the plastic cover that goes over the motor was missing. This happened to be Brian’s day off, will not go back on a Wednesday!!
