It was an easy process of selecting the right unit for my needs. The front desk gentleman was extremely nice and helpful.

When I got my unit, it was cleaned up and painted real nicely, which definitely makes using it often much easier.

I just signed my lease yesterday. So far it has been a great experience. Hallie and George did an excellent job of walking me through the process and making sure I had all the supplies and information I needed.I do wish they had a cart to navigate to my unit though. (apparently someone stole it)

Super solid storage place. Prices reasonable, and theyre very good at communication about anything going on like floor refinishing, gate work, etc . Ive had a unit here almost 2 years, and the manager has always been awesome to help me out whenever I need it (I forget my code a lot). Its HOT in the non-climate controlled in the summer, but, er, welcome to Durham? Ive never had a problem here (tho cant say the same for securcares website... Considered dinging a star there, but thats not THIS facilitys fault. Securcare, fix yo webpage! Or, maybe, dont cause every time you do, you break something. Lol). I would recommend to a friend for sure. Manager lives on site, and thats a big plus in my book. They also rent U-haul and have packing stuff.Only real complaint is that the light to Mineral Springs and Sherron doesnt go to the facility... Just a stop sign. So it can be a beast getting out unless youre turning right. So I just turn right and U-turn in one of the housing developments up the road...

It was a pleasant experience working with SecurCare Self Storage. We have worked with them in the past and we not surprised that they still provide excellent and competent service!

The service here was superb. I was dealing with a particularly difficult moving company, but the people at SecurCare went out of their way to ease the process, which they were under no obligation to do. Hailey especially was terrific – she processed everything seamlessly and was extremely courteous. I felt much better with her overseeing my move-out, and I would recommend this facility whole-heartedly.

So much better confidence after having an issue the company actually took the time to reach out to correct the issue. Much better experience afterwards. Was truly impressed

Clean area, however gates access was hard to get out. The gate doesnt automatically open on the way out, you have to put your code in to get out.

Customer service is first class at this location. The onsite manager is extremely helpful and courteous. I have considered moving to another location because it is closer to my job, but Im hesitant because of the great service I get from this location....

Makes No SenseI just spent the better part of an hour arguing with a CSR for this company over what is contractually mines. How is it, if I pay my renters fee on Sept 25 and move my things out of the unit before Oct 25, that on Oct 6 someone else has their things in my paid for unit? So now if I have moved all that I can into my house and have no room for the rest of my things, I now have no place to store them because someone else has my unit. She went on giving me this spill about not having a lock in place..... So if while in the midst of moving I forget to lock my unit back, then I lose my unit.?.? PLEASE PLEASE READ YOUR CONTRACT!!!!!

They upcharged me without notifying me and then explained they could get everything taken care of and not to worry about my unit I would still have access to it since this was their fault. I proceeded to go to my unit after paying my dues and they put a lock on it and said because the payment hasn’t been shown they will not open it up. We have family in town helping us move and have to stop. When I explained that it was paid through my bank they basically told me that I needed to pay it through their website or else there’s nothing they can do because I paid through my bank and Colombus day was Monday so it will take longer. Keep in mind I haven’t not paid any month! And was told by en employee to not worry about the late fee or getting into our unit!NEVER WILL USE SECURE CARE STORAGE OR RECOMMEND **

Had a great experience while renting my storage, they mad my move so much better. Will defiantly be back when i need a storage.

We chose this facility partly because of the multiple layers of security including the coded entry gate. Unfortunately, for several of the months we rented space, the coded entrance gate was broken and always open leaving easy access to the units, even at night. We called the office to notify them of the issue several times and were told that repair services had been called to repair in the short term and a new gate was on the way. While this may be true, we consistently arrived to find the gate open. As part of what we felt we were paying for was the layer of gate security, we called to discuss a discount until the gate was replaced. The customer service during that call was horrible. We have since stopped renting a unit and do not recommend this space. I did give it 3 stars as our unit was not broken into and it was clean and dry.
