Store is in a convenient location with an adequate selection, but today was the third time Ive been tailed by an employee. It is pretty obvious when you decline their help and they keep following you as you browse. Taking the 10 minute trip to MOA is worth the better customer service and atmosphere

I only come here because it’s ulta in general and they have the products that I need and use. I’m a regular customer for ulta in general, but I must say I’ve come to this location on several different occasions. I’ve come right after work (I work as a manager for business firm) dressed nicely in a suit and all and To find that employees act all friendly and professional. And I’ve come in sweat pants and a tshirt right after I’ve gotten out of the shower and found employees treat you like your about to rob their products and they keep following you as you shop and they will look down at you if you don’t know a name of a certain product. That’s just unacceptable. You shouldn’t make anyone feel that way just because the way their dressed or look. I usually will do the drive to mall of America just because they way this location treats their customers.

Incredibly disappointed in the salon at Eagan- I was supposed to get a blowout and they called me 6 minutes before my appointment to cancel. Normally this wouldnt be an issue but we had our family photos today. If they could have even given me a 30 minute notice Id likely have been able to reschedule at a different salon. I will never be using this salon again- they didnt even offer to help with a solution. Poor customer service.

My sister and I entered the store on a Friday at 6:50pm (we were unaware the store closed at 7) we were not greeted at all. This would have been a great opportunity for the worker to say “hello welcome to ulta, we do close in 10 minuets is there anything I can help you find?” We could not find the product we were looking for and no one was around to ask. Just as we found the product around 7:05 a worker told us from across the store “Just so you know we closed at 7”. I understand staying late is never a fun thing. But that is no way to treat a customer. I would assume that was the manager who said that, and if not I would have hoped the manger would have stepped in to say “take you time is there anyway we can help you find” Our intension was not to make them stay late, we simply wanted to find out product and leave. I am very disappointed with the unprofessional manor in which we were treated.

I did not soak the water on the smallest pink Tangle Teezer brush at the store because I already washed and dried it before gave it back to this store, and then, they told me that the orange bag was soak.

Gaby did my eyebrows and they look AMAZING. She did such a great job and was so nice and took her time. If you need your eyebrows done go see her!!

People were helpful enough. But I didnt find one thing I needed and the other was out of stock.Glad they got vegan Korean skincare in tho!

Ive been getting my hair colored by Cecelia for 2.5 years now and I absolutely love it! She is so great with color. I always get compliments. She works quickly too. I dont have time to sit in the chair for 3 hours! I couldnt recommend her more!

Smaller location, didnt have anything I was looking for. I had a hard time finding someone to help me. It seems like there was only one sales associate on the floor, and she was stocking.

Leigh is the absolute best! I came in to get my hair cut randomly a few months back and have not trusted anyone since! She knows her stuff and is out for the health of my hair! Plus she nailed the perfect shade of gray! Love her and recommend her to everyone I know.

Honestly, this is partly my fault for not having the guts to voice my opinion during my visit. I mostly didn’t because I had somewhere to be after my appointment, and I just wanted out. I got my hair and makeup done, but honestly I was a bit disappointed.I feel bad because the girl that did my hair and makeup was so nice, but I think this establishment should be more transparent with their skills. I came in with a picture of big loose waves (I figured this would either be done with a big brush and a hair dryer, or curlers.) A straightener was used, which is fine, but my hair was still so frizzy all over and honestly more could have been done to prevent that. I could’ve done the job myself, but again that’s my fault for not voicing my opinion more. That really is one of my regrets.By the time she was done with my makeup, the curls had gone flat and I just ended up running my straightener through it all when I got home to just get rid of the kinky, frizzy hair.The eye makeup was okay so i won’t talk much about that, but even though I said I wanted medium coverage, it didn’t seem like I had any foundation on, and even though contour is extra, hardly any of it was put on me. It kind of just liked my skin was dirty on some spots :/Again, this is my fault as well because I chose to drive away, unhappy with my look, but I wish they would’ve been more aware of what they were sending me away with as well.I think I can just take this as a lesson to not spend money on things like this in the future. Overall, I am so sad that I spent so much money when I had to get rid of half the look, and fix the rest.Keep practicing your skills! Besides that, my person was very sweet and I appreciate her working on Fourth of July.

I had went a in a couple weeks ago to get blond highlights. Long sorry short I was not happy about it. I give them an opportunity to fix it and I couldn’t be more happy! Chrissy did a great job each time I went to get me to the color I wanted. So, I thank her for taking the time to fix the issue and make me happy. Much appreciated

The store and staffs are beautiful but the restroom is beyond disgusting. Filter dirty, has not been cleaned for a long while. Also, not toilet paper! Please take care of your store.

I had a great experience at Ulta Eagan location. I met with Leigh for a haircut. She was very personable and friendly. It felt like I was talking to a friend the entire time. Her skills were great and took the time to ensure I was satisfied with my haircut. I will definitely return fro her services.

The store is big, and the employees are friendly. There is a clear distinction between drugstore and high end. I enjoy coming here not just for makeup but for any beauty product. My shampoo and conditioner, my face scrubs, and my hair tools. So all in all ulta has it going on

I went in for a haircut with Chrissy yesterday and she did amazing! I desperately needed my hair thinned out and she took enough off to make a wig. My head now feels 10 pounds lighter and I didnt have to break the bank to get a decent haircut. I definitely recommend!

Worst Ulta I’ve been to. The girls are all rude. Give you bad looks and they ALL see us shopping but don’t ask us how we’re doing. They’re all talking to each other and a couple of them are on their phones. The only girl that does an awesome job is the younger Clinique lady I believe. She’s such a doll. She always asks me how I’m doing and to let her know when I need help. It seems like no one cleans up in that store either.

The most awful shopping experience Ive ever had!! The sales associate walked away from me when I asked her a question about a curling iron. She mumbled something as she was walking away & asked her co-worker to come & help me. I was so taken back by her rudeness towards me that I left abruptly & wanted to let the regional manager & higher up know how rotten those sales associate made me feel!! The most unwelcoming & miserable experience Ive ever had at Ulta!!

I’m usually never greeted by the workers even if I’m standing right in front of them. I’ve watched and witness the workers ignore me and instead greet customers that are not POC! I strongly believe this Ulta needs a diversity training.I try to avoid coming here unless it’s my last option. I always leave disappointed and upset. All customers should be treated equally. Ulta is suppose to stand for inclusivity & this Ulta Store in Eagan is far from that.

Reviewing Salon: Went there at 4pm (knowing they do walk-ins, I asked anyhow). The entire store was empty, including the salon (not one person in the salon). I was met with Janelle from the salon. I inquired about getting a haircut for my 10 year old daughter, and Janelle said she had a haircut coming in soon, so she did not have time. I understand that appointments should come first. However, I also inquired about being able to wait until after her scheduled haircut, and Janelle let me know she just wouldnt have time today. Mind you, they close at 6pm.. So asking her at 4pm and them closing at 6pm and having one haircut scheduled doesnt make any sense. What haircut takes and hour and a half to two hours?! Ridiculous. I have been a long time client of ULTA for all of our beauty purchases, but being treated like we were in inconvenience for a service they provide, is making me and my daughters re-think where to spend our money.

First color appt was good, second time came back wanting something much different. Stylist told me no problem. Didn’t end up anything like the pic I showed her, $180 later, came back in for a retry and ended up looking worse than the first attempt 🤦🏼‍♀️ I won’t be back for the salon services. I’m now searching for a color specialist or color corrector.

Will not be going to this location anymore I used to go here when I was living in Inver Grove Heights and always had amazing customer service but today 7/1/19 I will not be coming here anymore. I literally went in to get something for my sister for a birthday gift had a worker following me around thinking I was going to steal just by the way I look? But one worker that was checking me out was super nice and friendly. but My mom went to this same location looking for foundation had asked a worker for help and she just walk away to help someone else I will not be coming back due to the fact that they have to follow me around or being rude by walking away to help someone else. I’ll just stick to the Burnsville location where they don’t follow you around because of the color of your skin and there super friendly to help you out.

The sales associates where very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I buy my skin care products from them.

I love going to Ulta for all of my makeup and skin care products, but I prefer the Apple Valley location. I work right across from the Eagan location, but every time I go in the workers are completely rude. They dont show me where the products are that I ask about, and instead just point. Most of them are not even knowledgeable of the products they sell and I have had them roll their eyes at me just for asking a question. I now just go in and go out so I dont have to deal with the disrespectful customer service.

Paid 60$ for a full face makeup!!! Total disaster. I coud have done a better job in my bathroom my self, Never again🤒

First of all I placed an order online later on they cancelled my order and didnt give a reason why. I was on the phone multiple times(customer service reps were really rude/unprofessional) and was told to go in to a store to place order(I had ordered online items only). I spoke to store manager and she stated that wasnt possible she would call customer service and give me a call back.... Never received phone call. Finally applied for the Ulta MasterCard. Got my items but never received bill. Went in this Wednesday to a store and they couldnt take my payment. Finally called customer service today and I was charged $27! as a late fee. Paid the whole amount and never again will I order anything!!!!!

Just bought the anastasia beverly hills modern renaissance and the palette had swatch finger prints and the brush was gone. Seems like it was returned. Love the place, but they should look into the palette to make sure everything is good before returning to stock. Im keeping this only because its hard to find this palette around and plus this was the last one.

They are very helpful here when they want to be, or if they dont think you have money they can ignore you for about 25 minutes. That is impressively difficult in a retail setting.

I scheduled a makeup tutorial appt with Kat in the Salon. I needed an eye makeover. The appt was originally for 30 mins but 60 mins is more realistic. I am very pleased with the results. She chose colors expertly and the application was flawless. The final look was exactly what I wanted. I felt beautiful. She helped me with my product choices and took extra time to ensure I found everything so I could replicate the look at home. It was a fantastic experience and Im so glad I invested in myself. THANKS, KAT!

Worst experience I ever had. Long story short, I purchased a travel size perfume, the cashier threw it on the counter towards me after my purchased and when I asked her what her name was she lied and said it was Hannah. The manager said her name was in fact Rian. The manager, Molly, was very apologetic and friendly but because of my experience with RIAN I will never shop at any Ulta locations again.

Lots of cosmetics - LOTS. Brightly lit, very bright. There is NO WAY you are not seeing every detail of the makeup you try on. Friendly and helpful staff.

About 8 mos. after a accident (major head trauma) my hair was long enough to cut and style.The cut I got was great and looked good when growing out. So pleased. Went back, got a different person and though the cut was not great, I asked her to follow the same lines, just take it up an inch maybe 2. Figured it will grow out and at these prices the next will surely be better. Well I was so very wrong.The next time was a little worse, the stylist had no idea how to cut layers so I wore a head band for a couple mos. and did a little home trimming. The last and FINAL time was a nightmare.First I got a call that morning telling me the person I booked with was not coming in (it was one of the first really nice Thursdays we had in a long time) and I could reschedule.Due to my schedule I had to keep my original appt. The young lady assured so knew what she was doing so in I went.First she only water sprayed my hair, no wash,ok.An inch off the front,2 inches off the back and lots of layers, she seemed to understand. My hair was past my collar in the back and the front was just to my chin. With in 2mins one side was half way up my ear and cut straight across. I stopped her, told her that in no way was what I wanted and to get another stylist.Well then there went the back, Only about a half inch long in some places. I told them to stop and get someone else quickly, I was in tears. They made several calls and the Assist Mngr told them the damage was already done and she would not be coming in. My hair was plastered to my head,I looked like a man.I was absolutely horrified. I had to leave the store looking like that. There was some apologies but no solution. I had to wait 2 days before they could fit me in. Calling corporate I recieved a $50.00 ecard for the next cut. To be fair I wasnt charged for the fix, the Assist Mngr was not any where to be found for a follow up or an apology either.So here I am about 2 mos later and after LOTS of biotin my hair is almost 3 inches long in the shortest spots and 5 inches at the longest. Theres my tale. I spent the ecard on makeup. Ya know when you get a hair cut and people you know mention they notice? Well trust me. not ONE person said anything about my hair.

I am from the saint cloud area and have not been very lucky with great staff at my local Ulta Beauty, this was not the case in Eagen. I suffer with facial acne which I am very self concious about. I was touched by the sweetest lady working (I forgot her name now, she was blonde and petite and said she also struggled with acne). I felt very respected taken care of. She sat me down, asked a little about my skin, she made sure she wasnt hurting my acne (asked if it was tender multiple times) carefully applied the foundation she helped me match. She used clean brushes and gave me tips on skin care. I didnt feel judged and the expierence almost brought me to tears. Its the little things. Thank you Ulta Beauty in Eagen MN, you are great! The cashier also honored a coupon for me and offered me two free samples. Very good and will be back ☺

Disinterested sales people. I wanted help finding a new foundation and when i asked the girl she just pointed to the closest one and then turned to talk to the other customer that was already being helped by someone else! Didnt ask if i needed help with finding my shade, my skin type or anything. I am not a makeup wear-er and to go into this place was extremely out of my comfort zone and be treated like that was very hard for me. I will be trying Sephora to see if they can acctually me.

Walked in with my girlfriend and felt like I was being watched by all the employees, even caught a point my direction and assumed they were thinking I was some sort of problem. We left for that reason. Prices were high anyway and would rather spend my cash somewhere else.
