Greatest service Ive had in a long time. Family oriented, they knew I was looking for a motor for my 2001 Toyota Camry for months, they got right on it. Buyers beware! I went in looking for a bumper for a truck, and they said they had the part in stock, but as it was attached to a vehicle in the yard, they couldnt let me back there to see it. While this seemed resolvable by pulling the bumper off the truck and bringing it in where I could look at it, they wouldnt do that unless I paid for the part first. So they want me to buy the part first, and then if its damaged, Im either stuck with it, or presumably theyd allow a return of the part? They didnt offer that as a solution however. They either required that I buy the part sight unseen or there was some implication that I could see the part if I paid for their labor to pull it from the vehicle. Go elsewhere, someplace with sound customer service practices. And you need not take my word for it, look at all the other 1 star reviews. These guys are as crooked as they come.

Kristian was awesome to work with while trying to find a used door for a Ford Fusion he went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Part was as described as I drove 2 hours to purchase. Remington auto salvage is the ONLY place I would trust to buy parts from in the Chippewa Valley. Dustin was my sales associate and went above and beyond in customer service to help me. They delivered my engine safely, quickly and it was a free.There was a small concern about the 2007 Lincoln MkX engine but the owner Bob called me and the shop owner where my vehicle was and took care of everything over and beyond the kind of service you see these days. I was actually amazed to be treated with so much care as a customer and a satisfied one at that. These are upstanding people and the employees are great. Totally happy with my purchase and the engine was in great condition, very clean and thoroughly vetted. Cant thank you guys enough!

Im not very happy whit this guy Wyatt!1 When I called them, they said that the part I want to buy in excellent condition without dents and scratches, I came from another state, but when I arrived there were a lot of dents and scratches, they gave me a small discount, I was not very happy and I decided to buy this part because I wasted a lot of my time to drive from another state!2 You can see the pictures in my review. Wyatt sent me a picture that there is a small crack and by the phone hi said that crack is invisible and Ill give this part for $55+$15 shipping but how you can see the crack is more bigger and can not install on my car because its visible and you can see the picture he charged from more hi said.I do not recommend to have deal with them!

While the people were nice to deal with, I cant recommend this place due to the quality of their parts. I decided to buy parts from Remington since they were the closest to me with both a seat and tail light for my car that were classified as A grade parts. I drove a couple hours to get there to find the seat had cigarette holes burned in the cushion. I had already paid for the parts, so I just took them home. when I got home, I installed the taillight to find that 2/3 of the led were not working in it. I tried plugging it into the other side to eliminate the possibility of bad wiring. I contacted them about it and eventually got a rma to return the light. So, I had the extra time and expense of shipping back a bad light as well as the time to try it in my car and the extra time it took to switch out the seat cushions that all could have been avoided if they would just inspect and classify their parts correctly.

Took a core back and it was past 90 days so they would not be refunding my money. On the receipt it does not state anything about how long you have to return a core and get your money back. Now I am going to my lawyer and reporting it to better business bureau

I have mixed feelings about this place. I called ahead of time about a cooling fan and they said you have to pay with a card ahead of time for them to pull the part. Otherwise they said it was a 20 minute wait if I came in and paid. I went in and they didnt have time to pull it. I paid them for an unseen part which I dont like to do. I told them I wanted the heavy duty fan and not the standard with pig tails and they said ok. The heavy duty has higher amp motors and more fan blades. This is needed for my pulling truck. They delivered it to a place closer in my area and it ended up being the standard duty. I talked with Wyatt when dealing with Remingtons the first time. I got someone else when calling back and was told Wyatt would call me back. Never got a call or message back. I just used it because I was tired of messing around. Pros: They were helpful to deliver it to a closer place free of charge, they threw in the pig tails and the prices are very reasonable! Cons: You have to pay ahead of time ( I understand that lots of people probably never show up), they didnt call back and part was probably inventoried wrong.

Ordered a part from here that was damaged by the shipping company. They offered to compensate for the damage out of their own pocket despite it not being their fault. Great communication and quality customer service.

Jake at Remington understands and is the epitome of customer service. I told him that, as a consumer, price will get me in the door the first time but customer service gets me to return. I didn’t need to, tell Jake that, because he was already providing excellent customer service. If Remington has what I am looking for, I will not shop anywhere else!!!

I called on January 22nd about a part for my car. The individual I talked to, took my information down and said he would call back after he went to the yard to see if part was there. No one ever called me back to say they couldnt find the part or anything. Then, I called again on the 23rd and the same thing was said to me that they would call me back. No one ever called me back. I went today on Monday January 27th to Remington Auto Salvage personally and they said they do not recall ever talking to me. This is no way to do business.

AVOID! Tony is a liar filled with broken promises and the owner is not much better!Bought an engine from this dump and was told it ran nice. Installed engine. Engine was knocking. It was replaced under warranty after many questions from the owner, submitting a video, and pulling teeth. When I brought in the defective engine they also demanded that i give them my original core which was not part of the original deal. My salesman Tony promised me an engine with 89K miles and in ready to install. New engine had many broken parts and required me to take a trip to the dealer to get replacement parts. Tony promised me a 50% refund on what I paid for my enigne for the broken parts. Also, after running the VIN on the replacement engine it had 140K miles, not 89K. Again, more lies. Every time I called Tony he said he was busy and would call me back. Id never get a return call. I understand every once in a while you sell defective parts. It happens. Its how you treat your customer when this happens and this company, especially Tony, has a lot to learn. Honesty and coming through on your promises I dont think is too much to ask. I tried to speak to the owner about my issues with Tony and never heard back from him. SO AVOID THIS PLACE! Take your business elsewhere, I know I will.

I had no idea what was wrong with my car. I called an explained to Bob what was going on and he knew EXACTLY what part I needed to get my problem fixed. He got it for me for a great price. I was even able to add a 2 year warranty so I dont have to worry at all!

Buyer beware. Well never purchase anything from here again. Purchased a used driveshaft and it looked like it was sunk to the bottom of the ocean. When it was sent back, what they didnt mention, wed be responsible for the return shipping. Horrible attention to detail, poor follow up, and questionable products....to say the least. Oh...by the way, good luck getting any support after the sale.

Junk part comes in, call about it, wait 2 days then get a call saying the replacement is bad. Waiting more days to get a decent part. No urgency at all. Its been a week and I have NOTHING to use. Has happened in past as well, and am DONE with this foolishness.

Bought a tailgate from them and it was so much better then expected! The paint on the gate is better then the truck it went on!

Mixed experiences with this location. Sometimes theyre willing to pull a part, sometimes you go hunt it down. I dont mind that, as all the junkyards where I grew up were like that, but youd expect consistency from this large of an operation. Some representatives that you speak with are the nicest people. Other representatives, well, youd swear that you were trying to take money from them instead of make money for them. Prices are on par with what one can expect in this area.

I agree with Sutton. Sometimes its a great pleasure (Nancy was the best) and other times its like they are doing you a favor by taking your money. But in the end they have what I need at a fair price and thats really what Im most concerned with. Must be OK since I keep going back when I need a good part at a good price.

On of the worst stops ever drove 2 hours for a part and it only takes 8 minutes to pull and i gave them 4 hours to pull and it was not pulled very un happy will never be back

Just picked up a RAV hood-better than described! Worked with Jake Connell who immediately starting looking and found me what I wanted within a couple of hours (I had something very specific I needed). He also got the RAV parted out for me within 24 hours. Price was very fair. Great people to work with and I’ve never been disappointed:) Always start here if you’re looking for any auto parts, tires, etc.

This is the worst salvage yard I have ever worked with. We ordered a front axle for a Jeep. Bob told us that the mounts were a little bent. The rusted piece of junk they sent us had the mounts torn off of it. When I called them to tell them that it was unusable I requested a different one or a refund. They said that they would give us a refund, minus shipping both ways. When we finally received the refund it was less than half of what we paid for the axle. These guys are absolute crooks and we will never work with them again. Buyer beware! The only reason they get a one star review from me is because zero isnt an option.

Crooks. Sends out broken parts then claims the parts werent broken when they were shipped. Refuses to refund your money. If you give this place your business they will most certainly screw you. Dont know how they are still in business. Stay away. Far away.

I ordered an ECM for an old dodge I own and they sent me a Ignition Controller. Mistakes happen so I didnt get upset at first. I figured I would just email them right away since my van is how I earn a living and its down till the part arrives. After waiting all day no one responded so I called in and left a message for Nate their Ebay lister. I explained my rush and still no email or call back. I called back a second time and spoke with someone. I explained how important it was for Nate to call me back so we could get this resolved and he never bothered! I am getting a refund and will never order from them again. Bad service all the way around. I will review them on eBay as well. Buyer Beware.

Please Stay Away! We purchased a transmission for 2012 VW Routan for $1100 from here. The part came in defective and since then it has been complete hell dealing with this company. They are ignoring phone calls, the guy in charge Bob is never seems to be at work. We filled the claim with the bank for further investigation. But if you a business owner do not buy here because they will not honor the warranty. It is a Mickey Mouse Business!

Bought a pair of seats for my project, showed up within 24 hours, great price and service!!

I purchased a used engine from this company. I paid $2000.00 for this engine. I had it installed and after a couple weeks noticed that engine wasnt running properly. I had the engine checked out and it was found that the engine had very low oil pressure and that the engine was no good. I spoke with the business owner to see if they would give me a different engine or refund my money. He told me sorry, theres nothing I can do for you. I would highly recommend finding a different business for your used part needs.

Caveat! This is no joke! I needed an engine. I searched the area and found 3. I called each place of business and was convinced by the salesperson, Wyatt, that he physically went and looked at the engine in question, that it was stored in a dry place, that it was in great condition with only 103K on it, which is great for that old of a vehicle. Wyatt touched briefly, briefly, on a warranty, but also told me that they give a 90 day warranty and that the engine was in great shape with low miles and clean. Id never needed a large part such as this. I asked it only had 105K on it, that it should give me 50K more on it, right. I was sold. Paid for engine and repair only 5 months ago. I now need a new engine !!! Only put 2,000 on it!!! How SICK is that! Heartbreaking!! I was bamboozled. It was such a stretch to pay for the first engine and now I am stuck with a tow bill and no vehicle. When calling Remington Auto November 21, 23, I actually talked to a nice guy, Tony, who said he believed in Christmas Miracles and hed talk to the warranty manager, Bob. It took me 5, November 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 5+ multiple calls to finally get to talk to Bob in Warranty. I asked if there was anything his department could do to help with the warranty, he get so rude. Bob treated me a female with such a overwhelming condescending attitude and no regard for what I had to go through to be able to pay for this, he was curt, put words in my mouth, and was downright not kind or considerate. Bob was a BULLY to me, a female. He did not even want to listen to my heartache. It was ALL about his numbers. SHOULD HAVE RAN FOR AT LEAST A YEAR, but 5 months only!!!! I am so upset. DO NOT BUY FROM REMINGTON AUTO. When asked of Bob the warranty manager to speak to the owner or his supervisor, he told me hed pass my name along, REALLY. No call yet!! And the dumb thing I was warned by 2 different salvage yards, one didnt have anything to gain as they didnt even have the engine I needed, warning me not to buy from Remington. DO NOT BUY FROM REMINGTON! There are many other good, honest, reputable salvage yards around. Dont waste your time. Their customer service is the lowest of anything Ive ever dealt with. They do not care about the customer once a part is sold!! Caveat! This is no joke!

Drove out 2 hrs to get there. Seat was suppose to be in great condition. I got thsre and haf the wrong seat out. Had to wait till they found other for hr. When i got seat was in poor condition. Was left out in weather for some time, rust stains and water logged. In defense of Christina the receptionist, she was wonderful and there must have been some communication error. Did get full refund but sad about time lost and milage.

If you are wondering, this place is not a self-service—and they charge for labors to get you the parts you need. I recently purchased a used vehicle and noticed that the passenger seat buckle cap was missing. I called Remington and they were going to charge me a minimum of $50 for a small piece of plastic. I asked why the price is high and was told they charge for labor. Honestly, I could go out and pull the piece out myself.

If you need anything over there ask for Jeannie. She will go above and beyond for her customers. Wonderful experience, would reccomend.

I have never been to a salvage yard that was so professional & clean, when you first walk in you forget your in a salvage yard, and the restroom seriously reminds you of an department store restroom or something, employees are professional but also easy to talk to. Even if you have to wait abit to have a part pulled, the guys b/s with ya laugh have sum popcorn and before ya know it your out the door.
