Let me tell you a story about why I will never come here again. I thought I was being pretty clear when I said I wasnt interested in the stuff the employee was offering me but he just kept going! I was offered to buy SIX things that I didnt even want in the first place, one after another. I just wanted to come in and buy ONE game and leave but it had to turn into a freakin feud between me and a guy trying to squeeze every last drop of money I had. I wanted to be polite but it was just RIDICULOUS. Everything is overpriced here, they sell used games at FULL price. Dont even bother trading in your games they will basically pay you nothing and sell your stuff at SIX times the price of what they gave you. They once offered me 10 dollars for a used game they sell at 60. Trading games here is an absolute joke. It BAFFLES me that GameStop continues to exist as a company while actively taking advantage of their fans and customers in the most GREEDY way possible. Awful prices, awful trade ins, annoying employees, I have never felt so repulsed by a store in my life. In conclusion I will NEVER come here again, youre better off going to Gaming Generations which is infinitely better in every single way.

I understand covid messed things up but I cant get a new controller for my ps4, I can get a new controller for a ps5 but cant get a ps5. Their warranties are awesome but they dont have the product to replace broken items. Until I can confidently walk into a gamestop knowing theyll have what I want for my gamer life all gamestop stores are a 1 star for me.

I was talking to my gf then the guy got into my conversation. Then he started to talk bad about my store were I work. Thats wat upset me the most he also had poor costumer service just leaning behind the counter. Being on his phone. Just very unhappy. In the past it was a cool place to be.

Had a lovely conversation with the cashier about Legend Of Zelda, didnt mind keeping a conversation after the transaction was done. Prices as far as Gamestop go are pretty up there, but youre definitely paying for the convenience. They have a wide selection, though, catering more towards newer generation consoles. Overall recommend for a quick stop!

I wanted to surprise my 3 boys when they got home from school with the new fortnite pickaxe they have been talking about for days!! When I went into GameStop they said it was only 1 person and I would have to bring them in. I was a little confused but they kindly explained to me why it’s 1 per person I said okay and was going to bring them in later that night. I bring them in and they tell me that THEY WOULD HAVE TO BUY IT NOT ME! They are all below the age of 10 and have no way of buying stuff themselves. They said they can’t do separate transactions with the same card. Never again will I come into a game stop to buy anything all online from now on!

I have been coming here for years, but my last transaction here will be my last. This store has been going downhill for years & I would rather take my money anywhere else.I bought a Nintendo Switch, three days later the JoyCon controller stopped working. It was within their 7 day return window, but I was told I would have to return the whole console, they could not swap the defective controller. So my options were to either pay $40 for a nintendo online account for both accounts on the console to backup the save data, trade in the controllers for $13 and have to purchase another one, OR just trade it in and lose everything.So, I will just return the whole thing, take the loss and never come back.

Get the card, Game Informer helps keep the busy in the know & has some of the best prices for some of the highest quality stuff, plus if you get bored with something & hard copy was taken care of theyll buy it at better price then anywhere else! Bonus: I have yet to see an issue they couldnt remedy & I have a toddler with me EVERYWHERE!

Return of unused turtle Beach headset was fast, no hassle, asked for best gaming headset, and the person working was very helpful and even referred me to other brands not in store that I might like instead.

Pushy sales staff. Its annoying when you want to go in there to just buy a game and they try to upsell you on everything under the sun. Im surprised they didnt tell me that my car warranty is about to expire or that Im eligible for free medical brace or that they can consolidate my student loans.going to any GameStop is like trying to buy items on a clickbait website in real life.Alternatively they are the only place in town that has a good selection of used games.

Its kinda hit & miss with GameStop. Some games are overpriced, some games are 99¢. And they sell some overpriced accessories as well. I wouldnt expect much for trade-in either. But GameStop always seems to have whatever your looking for in stock. So if your willing to pay a little more than what you would on the internet for the products they sell, then I recommend calling a GameStop store; chances are, they have what your looking for, and you can get it right of way instead of having to wait for it.

Service was great thats the only thing. It looks and smells like my dorm room in college, cant find anything in the mess. Dont trade your games in its just giving them away and they resell them for 300% more just crazy. Its like an expensive pawn shop.

Really not a useful place for gamers. I prefer Amazon and Ebay for physical media games and download the rest.

My wife went in to sell all our old Xbox 360 stuff. The console, and about 10 games. Since we have an Xbox One--we figured it was time to finally part with the old stuff.Sadly, the encounter didnt go at all like expected. Ive never sold used stuff before, but my wife has (game once to Gaming Generations), so she went off alone. Ill make it clear that I wasnt present during the encounter, but it went sour enough that I had to write this review.My wife did some research on GameStops website, and concludes that GameStop just needs the console. Anyways, I told her not to give them the HDMI cable, because those are useful for everything now. And if youre only getting 45 dollars for a Halo 4 Xbox 360, youre kinda getting screwed anyways--so I wanted to keep my cable. Does that make me a bad guy?Then in addition to GameStop not wanting the console without a HDMI cable--they accused her of trying to sell a stolen game of all things. As mentioned before--Ive never sold my old stuff--I just trash it. But does this kind of accusation get thrown around lightly? It just blows my mind.The moment my wife came home and told me that some GameStop rep told her they thought she stole a game I was fuggin furious. How DARE they.How dare they accuse her of a crime without any kind of proof. It is beyond insulting,My wife told me that the game was in question, because it was still in its shrink-wrap. Its true the game was still shrink-wrapped. We picked it up from a Wal-Mart Black-Friday event a year or two ago when they were trying to pawn off Xbox 360 games for like 3-5 dollars each in one of those discount bins. It seemed like a decent idea to just buy a bunch of random games we might play--if the price is right. Anyone who participates in Steam sales can probably say theyve got a few games in their digital libraries that theyve never played.Since we were getting rid of the Xbox 360 there was no point in holding onto the game even if we never played it. What were going to do with it--frame it on our wall? Heres an Xbox 360 game I got at Wal-Mart that I never played. Of course I want to sell it for 2 dollars. And yes, GameStop denied service over a 2 dollar game. Ridiculous.Suffice to say the entire encounter ended up horrific. Not only we were denied service, but GameStop insulted my wife with false accusations. I gave this location a one-star review, because no business should ever act like that. If theres a problem they should be doing their best to understand and fix things. Not make up false accusations to hassle customers.Ive never sold used game stuff before, but when we try--this happens? This is my first impression of how this system works, and GameStop completely turned me off the idea of selling/buying used games.
