ABSOLUTELY ! the worst service I’ve ever experienced. UNPROFESSIONAL customer service representatives and salesman. I purchased two sets of bed sets and decided we want to cancel the order that was placed for pick up. I called them and they basically told me that the receipt has false information and does not apply to me because it’s a clearance store . I asked them why didn’t they care to explain that to customers and “Martin” (salesman) responded “that’s not my job to explain anything, that’s your problem” . I also reached out to another representative and she decided she wanted to get sarcastic on the phone when I was explaining the situation to her. The receipt that I received specified that if my order was not out for delivery yet, I’m able to cancel and get a refund.

I can see why so many negative comments for this store. With so much competition, how would they think to stay in business? My wife call for the availability of a sofa set, and the answer she gots was” you need to come to the store” not only they said that but the way they said was so rude. My wife went to the store and could not find her ashley credit card, so they said no card no business. It is unbelievable. I told my wife closed her account and move to somebody else. I hope upper management see this review and do something about it.

We visited your place on Saturday and we asked one of the store employees to help us check if you have two of the Accent chair available, the person said she will check and get back to us. we waited for her to come back after almost 15 min when we did not see her come back we went to her to check the status and the response was that she is very busy and got pulled into other things so she cannot help. the person next to her said they are very busy and cannot help and when some one is free they will contact us. if you are so busy then let us know and we would have not waited there expecting someone to help us out. it was very rude from both people sitting in chair at that time. that is there reason i had to give you 1 star. We are all busy and would expect some response if you are getting into something else instead of we waiting for you not know whether you are working on our request or something else.

If I could give zero stars I would! I ordered my furniture November 2020 I’m still waiting on a piece that has taken that long. I called with customer service and they continue to promise delivery on such times and still haven’t received anything! Today is May 27 and now I’m being told the furniture won’t be avail until 3rd week of June. Every time I call I get dates that aren’t fulfilled. I was also told that the delivery was in the warehouse and I was the next on the priority list and still nothing! It’s been 8 months and now I’m being offered to get a different chair when the one I ordered is apart of a set! I have been told that orders after me have been given the piece that was supposed to be intended for me. I’ve been a customer for many years, and this is by far the worst experience! I will not purchase another item from this company ever again. *warning do not purchase from here*

I didn’t feel that the products were cheap .. some products are available new but most of them in the warehouse are pick n go .. they don’t sell rugs here .. overall a very average experience

I order a 3 pcs living room set March 15, 2021 and today its May 15, 2021 and I still have not received my delivery!!!! Call after Call to customer service and the promises of it will be delivered In a week, then it became 2 weeks and now today my items will not be available till AUGUST!!! I’m still waiting on a full refund. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Do not order in store and NEVER ORDER ONLINE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! This place is truly unprofessional, I have been waiting for over an hr and still nobody have come out so I can collect my furniture . Multiple people outside waiting when worker comes out helps one customer with their merchandise and then closes the gate. Women at front was very helpful and had to come all the way to the back of the loading gate to micromanage. Honestly your best bet is to have them deliver.

I would give 0 stars if that is possible for their corporate office. Their corporate office has a terrible sense of customer service . I bought a living room set including a sofa, a chair and an ottoman. In 2 months the fibers came off of the fabric and they started making cranking sounds. Just in 2 months!!!! The issue was arising from the nature of the fabric and a design error with 4 thin legs that are unable to carry the sofa itself. And I was forced to get a brand new one with the same defective fabric and design with error if I do not want to pay a restocking fee of $149.99 to select a new model. I was punished by a restocking fee for a defective product that I have purchased and turned out bad in 2 months.I paid for the restocking fee just clear this mess up Ashley Furniture created and will never ever make a purchase from Ashley Furniture.Anyone who is looking get a furniture or anything, I would suggest Ikea. At least they stand behind their product and accept full return without causing any problems without any waiting time.

Visited this location in hopes of finding a particular living room chair. Floor salesman Michael was instrumental in helping me to finalize decision about the chair selection. I appreciated his patience and sensibility which helped to narrow down selections. His presence was so great that I decided to purchase an accent chair for a bedroom. I wish I could have chosen a more professional furniture store but figured Id get a deal. When you save money in one way, youll surely pay in another way. As is chair was fine but the one I purchased at regular price to match came off that truck cracked in half. They tried to say that was an as is chair. My farmhouse table came super damaged and they tried to say I picked it out that way. I made them take that back. Im so upset that I have chairs and no table. The other 4 chairs were spared. My 2 year old Ashley couch set I paid $1,500.00 brand new was done after 6 months. I kept it too long couldnt afford to buy another. Please go to another store. The delivery truck didnt have Ashley name on it and they came 4 hours late.

I wish I could give less than one star.This place is all about getting the money upfront and cares nothing about extending customer service.I paid cash for a sectional and a month later, when the furniture finally arrived, the chaise came with a broken frame. The delivery men took it back and said I would be contacted when the new one comes in.When the new one came in, I was given another two weeks delivery date.I was told that I could pick it up earlier. When I arrived to pick it up, we discovered that they had sold it and I would have to wait another two weeks for it to arrive and be delivered.When I asked to speak with a manager, I was given the runaround and told that the manger is on vacation. When I called customer care, a “manager” told me that there is nothing he could do and I would just have to wait.I have been an Ashley customer for years, however I have mage my last purchase from them.

One star is too high a rating for the type of service and lies they’ll tell you. They bully you with deceit in order to make a living because they have 0 sales skill. I have been on the phone with them canceling for 5 days with them and between them avoiding me, talking over me, or outright lying to me, they have made a mockery of themselves and Ashley Furniture should be ashamed of the level of corruption they’ve allowed to represent them.

Furniture broke in just over 2years. Spent over 2k for my bedroom set. I purchased 5 year warranty which wont cover structural damages. Just be aware. My furniture is useless to me now. Would not recommend their products as they are cheaply built. Will never buy Ashley again. Horrible!

BE AWARE. Similar to many other reviews this company only cares about taking your money upfront and not helping you out at AT ALL on the backend. I bought an expensive brand new sectional sofa last week in cash and they sneakily declined the measuring service on my behalf. I had the sofa picked up in its full wrapping and find out one of the pieces will not fit in my living room once it arrives. I request to return just one piece of the sectional that I cannot use because it will not fit for store credit and they said all sales are final. The sectional piece is still wrapped up brand new not used. I cant believe they will not help a new customer out after spending thousands on not only the sofa but on a full bed set and other furniture as well.

Im very dissatisfied with my purchase, it was very expensive and it was malfunctioning no matter what got replaced. And not one single representative gave me a resolution that benefit me, only you guys. I purchased a bedroom set ($10k) and the bed does not work properly or attach properly and my only option is to return the bed for a refund but stay stuck with the rest of the bedroom set, no matching bed. WHY WOULD ANYONE want to do that? Why would i want to finance the rest of the bedroom set if i don’t have the matching bed? I want to return everything if i can’t have the matching bed. I don’t care about your contract. You sold me broken furniture, take the responsibility and take your furniture back.

I bought a couch that did not fit upon delivery. I was never offered measurement services that I was told about after the attempt. I was inconvenienced with out a couch for the weekend and a delivery fee of $80.00 that I will not get back because David from the home office said there is nothing I can do for you. I wanted my money back to get another couch and i could not get my money back until the drivers return the couch that they have on there truck. I am willing to go drive to pick it up but will not have my funds released for a couch or be accommodated for the inconvenience. I spoke as well to Davids supervisor and she could not offer me any accomodation as well. Last piece of furniture I will buy from Ashley furniture going foward and I will be paying off my account and not reusing it again.

In my humble opinion there is nothing that truly differentiates one furniture retailer from another with the exception of the. Ashley espouses a customer service-oriented approach and having worked there for all of 4 months in a role that exposed me to the business from end to end I can tell you that they make some people happy and just as many unhappy and whether you fall into one or the other group youre just as likely to have an issue with either the service or the product itself. If youre looking to purchase a large set of furniture its probably best to do it in person, but if possible I would recommend scouting furniture at retail locations and then see if the piece(s) are available from Wayfair, Amazon, or some other intermediary retailer that mitigates some of the service and product quality risk you may have to endure as a result of your purchase.

Not sure how Ashley home is still in business, its a throwback to the days before internet when unethical business practices in the furniture stores were common . went in to the so called warehouse for discounted pieces and they had everything marked up 1000% and then took 75% off.in other words, A $200 coffee table tagged at $ 599 then marked down to $300, who is falling for this in this day and age.

Worst experience EVER.First and last time buying in Ashley. We bought a firm mattress a week ago. I have back problems so we were happy getting this mattress. We checked others stores, but we stopped in Ashley, and unfortunately decided to get the mattress there. (huge mistake) after 3 nights sleeping in my new mattress my back pain started, so we decided to call customer service to exchange it and we got the worst costumer service ever. In the store they didnt explain us their return police because if I would know this, I never had bought the mattress there. All in all, no returns at all, no manager available to talk with, no possible exchange until 30days, and if we chose another mattress we lose 40% of the money we paid initially. Very upset. Dont recommend this f.... store to anyone

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I recently ordered a couch that arrived with two large slashes cut into the back panel of the couch. After the guys took the couch inside, they told me that they have someone come fix this. I was wary about someone coming to fix it, not knowing if it would be done correctly and wondered if the person didnt do a good job, what the next steps would be and they said that it would be to the discretion of the person who fixed it. I asked if I could have some kind of discount for receiving a damaged product. They told me they would give it to me for a lousy 10% off and not have it fixed. I asked then if I could have a replacement couch and they said yes. The guys who brought the couch inside gave me a hard time, when they should have asked if we still wanted it when they took the plastic off of the couch outside before they even brought it in. They were having problems with their computers so someone from Ashley called me later that night to tell me that there was no couch in stock and someone would get back to me.A week later I got a call that the couch is in and I had set up a new delivery date. The person on the phone said that someone would call me the day before to confirm and to give me a delivery window. The day before the scheduled delivery, I did not receive a phone call so I decided to call them instead and find out what was going on. They said that their system had a glitch and I wasnt scheduled for delivery, so someone would call me the following day to reschedule a delivery. At this point, I dont even want the couch anymore. Its 3 days before Christmas and my guests wont have a couch to sit on. I told the girl Id like to cancel and she said that I would be refunded but still charged delivery. I fought this since I hadnt received anything and the first couch I received was damaged. After putting me on hold and talking to someone else she said I could be refunded the full amount.I am absolutely amazed by the complete lack of communication and organization by this company. I would never recommend them to anyone and I definitely will not be purchasing anything from them ever again.

Will never again purchase from this business. Purchased furniture and took off from work for delivery. Customer care contacted us on 12/6/18, day prior to delivery, and said the scheduled delivery time would be 11:15-3:15. Day of delivery on 12/7/18, they called at 8:30 am saying they would be there 9:45 am instead and never showed up on the changed time causing me to lose work time that morning as well waiting around for the earlier delivery. Contacted store manager who confirmed they did in fact call day of delivery and confirmed that conversation on recorded line but customer care would not refund delivery for the inconvenience and loss of work for their actions. I have done business with several different furniture manufacturers and never experienced customer care like I did with Ashley Furniture. Very disappointed.

Only giving this company 1 star because you have too in order to write a review, The entire customer service and delivery process is horrible, they ask how can they they BRIGHTEN your day and they are completely full it! Bottom line nobody cares, you will be yesed to death and lied too! If you have an issue with your delivery or concerns you cant get a straight answer and a manager WILL NOT want to get on the phone when asked to speak to one. She even got warranty. She called them to let them know all they said they couldn’t do anything. Although the public area of this warehouse is smaller than the clearance center on Route 9 in Woodbridge, its worth stopping by this warehouse to look at their merchandise. They appear to change their warehouses public area often enough, so some days here may be lucky for you, some days less so. The staff here were very friendly. Worth visiting.

Most things here are things no one wants. Some of the mattresses were dirty and nasty looking. I expected some of the furniture to be dinged up, but some were in horrible condition and the prices were still rather high. The couches looked dirty. I personally would probably never go back there.

Isnt there a zero star option.Worst customer service. Have been struggling for 5 weeks for a issue with the furniture even though I have a protection plan. No one responds... I was misled and asked to contact platinum services (because I had a protection plan) and wasted 2 weeks talking to them. Protection plan only covers surface scratches and not cracked furniture leg just like my case. They have 100 of channels to sell but ZERO channels for customer service. This is a $ 4 bn company... really!!! Please avoid... this place

Worst furniture store ever. People over here never take accountability for what they sell. They just wash off their hands as soon as they get the payment and are NOT worried about the delivery. The furniture broke the first time they tried the delivery and it had to be rescheduled to a week later. And when confronted about the delivery delays, both the customer service people and the store manager over there speak to the customer very rudely and say that its not them who caused the issues and only the delivery guys. They had to be reminded multiple times that they need to speak courteously with a customer.. will never ever go to this store again. Pls refrain from buying anything from this store. I was almmost about to sue these guys..

Worst customer service! I wish i can give it a 0 star! We were supposed to pick up a bed frame and a box spring from the Ashley warehouse on 12/15. We were told to call 1 hour in advance so that they can prepare our pickup.. Around 11 AM, i received a call from the store, asking if i am still planning on picking up my furniture, and i said yes, i will be there in 2-3 hours. I have also tried calling them 1 hour before the pick up time, it was an automated phone line, said that i have 11 people ahead of me. I waited for 35 mins, until there were 3 people left in front of me, and the phone got disconnected! I called for the second time, and once again, it said there are 11 people ahead of me, and instead of waiting on the line, i can leave a message. I left a message with very clear details of my name, phone number, etc.. At this point, i was 30 mins away from the warehouse.. Once i got to the warehouse, i stopped at the check in desk, and this is when things got crazy! I have never seen such a bad customer service representative. There was an old man at the booth, basically telling me that because i didnt call a hour in advance, now i have to wait for another hour. I tried explaining him the situation, and even told him to dial the phone number they have provided, but he just said its not his problem. He was such a rude and a disgusting person. He had no right to yell at us. I will avoid this place at all costs going forward.

Always rescheduled on 2 different orders.Rescheduled first order and when arrive it was rushed. Delivery guy was in a hurry and didnt give me a chance to adjust entry point so furnitur would fit and I had him take all furniture back and canceled order. Ordered online and was told a date I selected would be available to receive a call 5 days before delivery to change it to another date. I canceled that one also. Ive had no furniture for over a month.

I was at the showroom to purchase a chair and table for my sitting room. The order was placed wrongly and incorrectly by the sales man who used the wrong product code and didnt include the tables. Therefore the delivery personnel brought in the wrong items. They had to return it back and I went to the store the request for corrections. The necessary adjustments were made to include the chairs with the product right code and the 3 pieces of table with about 20-25% discount on the table as a compensation for the mistake. On delivery, only 2 pieces were bought in. I had to get to the store to complain again as all effort to resolve this via phone wasnt yielding any results and i didnt get a call back even though i was promised one. I got to the store to explain and the first excuse given to me was the table comes in 2 pieces - this is argued. Second excuse was the amount paid was for 2 tables and i explain why a lower amount was paid as this was a discount given to us by the salesman for wrong item placement. After a couple of minutes the worst and most annoying excuse is currently the tables are no longer available as the product has been discontinued, do i still want the 2 tables or refund. I was like heck yeah. I had to get my refund.In summary, I would consider this as bad salesman job, dishonesty, disorganisation,loss of integrity and bad customer relationship.

I went into the location on 07/20 and decided on a sleeper couch, after the salesman was quick to negotiate a price I inspected the couch and found out it was NOT a sleeper. I was able to negotiate a cheaper price but should have taken that as a sign to STAY AWAY. 2 days after the couch was delivered I called them because there was a major sag in the center of the couch and the baseboard was basically touching the ground with any weight. After providing proof of the damage, they assured me it would be fixed quickly although I was annoyed my new couch was not being replaced. For over month I called them because all of their empty promises to call back were never fulfilled. Yesterday 08/24 at 7AM my couch was finally fixed. Lets hope it lasts.I think it is absolutely unacceptable how I was treated as a customer, and the process in which it took to have my couch fixed on an issue that was not due to my negligence. I will NEVER be buying from this company again.

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever came across. Hung up on multiple times. Left on hold for 20 minutes + multiple times. Calls dodged. Calls unreturned. No response. Steven Robinson, a so called manager, never returned or even took my calls once he new there was a problem. How in the world they EVER get any type of repeat business is totally beyond me!Do yourself a huge favor and STAY AWAY!!!!! I have found Raymour and Flannigan to be much better.

They dont should even not even get a one star. The are the worst when it comes to customer service. We bought a $800 bed for my son, the delivery guy forced the draw into the bed and broke it, he didnt not say anything and left our house. I been dealing with them for for 3 Weeks via emails and phone calls and they never get back you. I finally got someone to help and they still managed to deliver the wrong bed. My son bed is brown and they bought white draws. Mind this I have emailed them pictures of the bed several times. Ashley customer service and management team is the worst I have in countered. I will never recommend Ashley Furniture to my worst enemy....
