You need to shop at Deep Cycle. I asked them a question on the internet. They steered me to the least expensive option and explained why it was the best. No one answers emails that way today. They just point you to some lame website blurb because they likely dont know what they are talking about. Awesome company!

I had a horrible experience with this company The battery I got did not hold a charge for more than a couple weeks they tried to blame it on my vehicle which which my old battery that was John collasted longer and collasted longer they would not let me explain my issue or my problem there was a lot of I dont knows Couldnt answer my questions I actually had a screaming with one of the people that work there because i just spent so much money on this battery and it didnt work, I was hung up on and the owner did not really even care after everything that went down II never got a working battery and he only warranted at only warned he didnt once.. It is not a good place to go to

I came to them looking to replace my 12 V G 27 AGM batteries that I use in my camper van.I was looking for the ultimate deal, since my budget was tight and I was willing to buy used batteries. First, Price! I couldn’t find a better one for the batteries I was looking for (6V). Their prices are posted online AND easily accessible without having to...ugh...configure what MFR golf cart and trim level I was looking to install them in (travel trailer). I opted to text them with an inquiry of a specific battery MFR and size. I received a response within 15 minutes confirming the online price and that they were in stock. After a 2 hour drive (LA area to SD area) I was greeted by Chris (Manager) who, after exchanging pleasantries, took my payment, loaded the batteries in my truck and had me on my return trip home in maybe 20 minutes...TOO EASY. After 35 years of working in retail sales I believe I understand what excellent, mediocre and poor customer service looks and feels like, and my experience yesterday with Chris and Deep Cycle Batteries was certainly in the excellent category. I would strongly recommend them as the go-to for anyone’s battery needs. Thanks again, Chris!

Ive bought 7 batteries from these guys in the last 12 months. they are always personable and discuss in detail the application and solution options. They test old batteries to make sure they are actually faulty. you can get cheaper batteries at Costco or wherever but not better quality products or better service. I really like this outfit!!!

I went into the shop to get four batteries for my neighbors 3 wheel mobility cart, which they had in stock and both technicians quickly helped me not only with new batteries, but swapped the terminals inside a secure case and had everything ready to go in about 15 minutes. This place is Fantastic - responsive, friendly service, great variety of high quality batteries to choose from. They dont deal in Interstate batteries at all - which I was happy to see as Ive never had good luck with those and Ive owned several.I was able to get a brand new battery with 2 year warranty for $55 plus tax. The same price I paid for a reconditioned battery with a 3 month warranty at New Battery and Starter shop over on Main Street in El Cajon. That battery lasted 2 years but had been leaving me stranded lately even after extended freeway driving, which should have charged the battery.Deep Cycle offers both curbside and mobile installation service. (Of course you will pay extra for the convenience of the mobile installation service.)Their batteries hold a charge beautifully - my car was parked for a week and started right back up when I needed it like nothing ever happened. Car also has plenty of power and I can start her right up even if I forget and leave the a/c on full & the radio on when I turn off the ignition.They are located on Friendship Drive and you cant see them from the street. They are tucked in the back of one of those little industrial parks along Friendship Drive. They are definitely worth spending a couple extra minutes looking for.I recommend this outfit highly!

Brought my UPS batteries to be recycled here. 34.4 pounds, $0.18 a pound. Yielded me about $7, which is better than most other options for the batteries. Not only did I get paid, but they will be recycled. Looked around the store only briefly, well organized with lots of products. Even saw some solar panels. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone, Bob, before I came in was very nice. Location is the first driveway on the left when you turn onto Friendship from Cuyamaca, I missed it at first.

Went to DCB with the intent to buy 4 new batteries for my rv $2000-3000 worth. The owner went way out of his way and got into the very small space underneath and worked tirelessly checking their condition. He found the batteries to be in good condition. After spending a couple of hours of his time he could have easily said they were bad, and I wouldnt have argued. Not only did he not sell me unnecessary batteries he would only charge me $50 for his time. I have been buying batteries here for over 6 years already and as far as I am concerned, I will not buy another anywhere else. I have already told a bunch of friends to make sure to go here for their batteries also.

I am a very unhappy customer. In the very beginning I bought a solar panel and a Deep Cell battery and from the very beginning I had problems with battery. First problem was that I could not charge the battery with a car charger. Second problem after about a month maybe a month-and-a-half battery went bezerk would not work properly. I returned that battery and they gave me a different battery. After about a month maybe two that battery developed problems would not hold a charge. Took it back got my original one supposedly it was fixed. That one ended up having problems. I have had no luck whatsoever of getting one that works properly . 2 weeks ago I returned the battery because it was not a holding a charge. Was told that Jeff was out of town and that he would be getting me a call back in a day or two. After not hearing from deep cycle batteries in three days I went out there in person to find out whats going on. They told me that they did not have any other batteries of that type so that they would not have any others more than a week, or Jeff said they could have by that Friday. So Friday I went out there and waited well over an hour before they helped me. they told me that they put a new battery in the case. Jeff told me that it was the last battery that I would be able to have because I only have one year warranty which doesnt make any sense because seems to me that if have a bad battery and you take it in and get another one that your warranty should start with that one. Anyways battery works fine for a day and a half. I have my doubts that they actually put a new battery in the case. I emailed Jeff with my concerns and I have not received any email phone call or text in over a week. I am very upset because I paid all this money and here I am with a battery that doesnt work from a company that doesnt stand behind their product. I will not and do not recommend anyone to make any purchases from this company. Seems to me that they tell you what you want to hear but if theres a problem they dont help. So here I am out of my money with a battery doesnt work and I guess my only course of action would be to take them to small claims court. This sucks. Shouldnt have to go through all these problems.

This is the easiest place to buy a deep cycle battery. I went to a couple auto parts stores after my second Optima died in my Jeep. I couldnt really find someone who knew what they were talking about when it came to a replacement. Found these guys on a google search and after 5 minutes of speaking with them I had a replacement battery. They explained the differences between the brands they carry, proper charging techniques and I walked out paying less than I ever have for one of those Optimas and with a 4 year warranty. If you need a battery for a sxs, jeep, buggy or just your daily driver, I wouldnt go anywhere else.
