You should find out why this happened and simply apologize to the customer. I never write reviews but I will start off by saying at least take this car to a trusted dealer because I failed in so and am now paying the cost. I bought a 2010 Mazda for 7,000 which I thought was a bit over priced but I went with it anyways. This is my very first car so I was too excited to see the issues or even take it to get looked at before I had made the decision to buy. Drove it off the lot and later that night I found that all my doors have issues being that some don’t lock and one doesn’t even open and the high beams didn’t work. Wasn’t a big issue too much for me. 7 months later and I’m now finding out that that axle needs to be replaced, my brakes are all touching metal to metal and needs replacing and the worst part the car is at a shop right now getting the transmission control module replaced. I can’t even drive my car because out of nowhere my AT light came on and the car won’t go over 20 mph. My mechanic also pointed out that one of the wires connected to my battery is burned so bad that he said something bad could’ve have happened. Only 7 months later and I’m adding 3,000$ in repairs that I don’t have the money for. Long story short, be smart and I hope that whoever reads this doesn’t make the mistake I made in going to from place.

I want to start off by saying that if I could leave 0 stars for this dealer, I would. I cannot believe the audacity the owner of this dealer has. The owner of the dealer, Mike, buys his cars from auctions for a very low price and resells these cars for a reasonable price. The majority of these cars have been in previous accidents and may or may not have a salvage title. However, Mike is not an official salesman. We were very interested in a car which he tried to sell to us. I, the buyer, put a down payment $2,400 for this car and began the process of refinancing the remaining of the car. We went to Cal Coast Credit Union, and they requested for specific details of the car in order to be able to finance it. This being the normal process for financing the car, but since Mike was the one trying to sell us the car, and is not an official salesman, he was unaware of what the requested details were. This process left us on hold on buying the car for nearly two weeks. Mike made someone else file all the paperwork for us to buy the car, and it was then when we asked if we can take the car home with us today. When we asked Mike if we take the car today, and Mike responded in an angry mood, “If I don’t receive a check by Tuesday, I will sell the car to someone else and for $7,500”(which is $1,000 dollars more). We had already sealed the deal with the credit union, and he was informing us that he will sell the car to someone else. The only reason why the process had not been completed the same day of was his fault for not knowing the documents requested from credit union. The people from the credit union were just as annoyed as we were with how unprepared Mike had been with us. Mike is incredibly unprofessional and uncaring for his customers. After we receiving a threat from Mike, the process was fastened and the missing paperwork was found. After receiving the check, it was found that Mike had added extra cost to the car and owed $92 dollars from the check. We quickly informed Mike and he became furious knowing that it was found he was asking for more money than the car was listed for. He furiously wrote a check for the $92 dollars and gave us the car keys with an attitude. This has been the most stressful experience I have had in my life. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM MIKE. HE IS INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS. I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO WORK FOR HIM. MIKE IS A COMPLETE SCAM AND A THIEF.

I purchased a 2012 BMW 328 from Car1234 almost a year ago. The buying process was absolutely painless and without a drop of sales pressure. Thats an A+ right off the bat. The tough thing was choosing from all the great options available. So now my review. The condition of this car with only 48k miles on it was as if it were brand new inside and out. I have had absolutely no problems with the car and feel like I am getting into a brand new car each time I unlock the door, still after almost a year of ownership. Car1234 has a customer for life! I wouldnt even hesitate to purchase from Car1234 again when the time comes it will definitely be the first one I visit... and most likely the only one. A non-sales person took the time to speak with us, and brought the car to the dealership, and Robert went over the vehicle with us. He was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. Then we met the owner, Mike, and he took over the rest of the deal. They were both great, they werent pushing vehicles; they were really looking to satisfy the customer’s needs. I showed up on a Saturday afternoon wanting to look at a car advertised on AutoTrader and Car1234s site. The car wasnt there (I was told it had been sold that day). It took at least 10 minutes for someone to ask me if I needed any assistance. Thats when I found out about the car I was looking for, but they had two of the same model sitting on the lot in desperate need of detailing. The guy basically had no info other than one of them was new to the lot, the price was nine or ten and offered me the key to have a look. This was after he explained that he had lots of paperwork to do. He was talking to some lady while getting the key out of the safe and didnt even look at me when handing it to me. I sat in the car and cranked it but didnt leave the lot. Due to the uncleanliness and poor condition of the vehicle, the price being higher than I thought (that car is now on the site for around $8k), and the unprofessional manner in which I was approached, I quietly returned the key to the salesmans desk. He was sitting there with a couple explaining to them how much their potential purchase was going to be.Next time I would suggest you dont judge someone on their general appearance (I have purple hair from a charity event recently) and actually act like you want the sale. FYI, I had over $3k in my pocket for a down payment and was ready to purchase based on my test drive. No worries – Im taking my business elsewhere.

STAY AWAY! These shady dealers sold me a Honda Covic that they said was clean, no issues. After an hour of haggling and just about to sign, they said the car was in a minor fender bender, nothing else. Turns out the car was in a very nasty accident (found out a year later from a Honda dealer and another mechanic). The driver-side seatbelt was replaced with an older model seatbelt. To do this; the seatbelt wiring was completely redone by Car 1234’s mechanic. Not only has the car been UNSAFE to drive but the seatbelt broke and to fix it? $3000 due to what Car 1234 did. These people are shady and you’re taking your life into your own hands if you buy from them. STAY AWAY.

Bought a car here back in 2017, paid $6k for a 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback. Worst mistake ever, paid an extra grand for them to install a new clutch, they didn’t do it. They also left the tires on that they got the car with or put older tires on as by the time I changed mine out the steel band had been completely worn through. These people only scam you save your time and money and go else where. They’ve been reported to the BBB and FTC for their deceptive practices.

They are friendly and they let you take your time going through the cars you are interested in without them being on your back like some car salesman have a reputation for lol. Im pleased with my Mazda 3 i sport that I bought from them. It is in perfect condition. Everybody loves it!!!!

Coming into Car1234 I was already prepared for the third hand car sold by the greasy, slick talking dealer, as it is in any used car dealership in Any Town, USA. Jeff however did not have greasy hair. I wanted to pay cash for a car, and get in and out of the lot fast knowing what would be would be. I ended up enjoying the two test drives and Jeff was fast and efficient at his job. But if you want someone to give you in depth an brutally honest information on a used car, then you should probably buy a new one. I however was prepared for it all and have to say I am satisfied with the outcome.

I bought my 03 Civic from Car 1234 few weeks ago, and Ive been so happy with my car and their services. The car is really clean and nice. The staff there were so friendly and honest, they were amazing and treated me respectfully. I got the carfax right away and I did inspection on my car by my mechanic before purchasing it based on their suggestion. They were not hiding anything. They also gave me a good deal for financing with my desired payments. If I want to change my car or buy another one in the future, I will definitely go to Car 1234 again. The prices at Car 1234 are very competitive. They have a good selection of vehicles that will fit various needs that you may have. I purchased a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta from them. I am definitely satisfied with the vehicle overall. I also felt like I got a very good deal on it. I paid $8,300 out the door for it even though it had low mileage and leather seats. I would definitely buy a car from there again if it was the right one.

Scam artists. Sold us a lemon, swapped it out for *another* lemon. Our mechanic was shocked they could even sell a vehicle in the condition they did. Tried to pin a transmission going out within 8 hours on us. Had to fight for a refund and they couldnt issue one immediately because they had to move some money around so the refund could go through.

I bought a Mazda3 manual 2005 from Car 1234 this fall, and it was a true pleasant experience! The staff was very helpful along the way, and they honor their all their stated policies on 2 day returns, etc. I took the car to a pre-purchase inspection, and as promised, they fixed the serious things that were found during the inspection. They helped out with anything I asked, even after the purchase, and I am very happy with the car and the process!Only problem now is that 2 months later I still havent received the registration. Will bump the review to five stars if it arrives before the temporary expires.

Shopping at Car 1234 was easy. These folks dont resort to high pressure tactics and they dont surprise you with hidden fees. Some folks will tell you to stay away from small dealerships but Car 1234 is a fine place to do business. I will be driving my new truck home momentarily.
