Well I had a 2017 focus with the DPS6 transmission issues. Daniel, Joe and the team at the Lomaland store in El Paso were fantastic They bent over backwards to work to accommodate us allowing us to assist in providing a dependable vehicle for my sister in law. In the beginning it seemed pretty bleak but Daniel came up with courses of action, sourced an affordable replacement and offered a fantastic warranty to boot. I have been very skeptical of outsourcing any of my repairs but the team at this store re energized my faith in good, quality service and customer support AAA + rating!!

Daniel at AAMCO was great. Gave us direct answers and options to consider for our transmission issues. Would recommend a call ahead since they are busy and same day work was not an option for us. On our appointment day, the process started with a diagnostic step and then a free estimate. Pricing was reasonable and nothing felt oversold. Start to finish, everything took about 2 hours.

I just want to say that the work done on my transmission, carburetor and air-condition were done by great professionals. These guys knew what they were doing! The customer service man was willing to help!They were on time and were able to take care of my problem. I am happy to be back on the road driving my restored 1948 Ford F150.

Awesome, professional & courteous! Im beyond satisfied with the work they did on my BMW. I was stressing about a malfunction light that came on so I started looking into getting my transmission fluid flushed & refilled. I called around and even went to different local shops to get estimates. They each gave me crazy prices just to diagnose my car and one shop even said I needed to replace my entire transmission for about $2000 plus labor! I finally called Daniel at AAMCO & he gave me a reasonable price to get my transmission fluid flushed & refilled. It was done in a couple hours and my car felt smooth & better than before. The malfunction light came on later that day and I called back to see if they could diagnose my car. They diagnosed it free of charge and told me exactly what it was. Unfortunately, they dont do that specific type of work but they helped me figure out the problem. Im happy I found a place that is honest & does great quality work!! Will be back for transmission service and definitely will refer to all my friends 😉

Took my 2007 Ford Lincoln truck to get transmission fixed. Not only did they fix it fast, they did an excellent job. Also took my 2011 Camaro for what I thought was a slave cylinder issue. They noted the problem same day and had my car running in no time. Will definitely keep coming here for any issues with my vehicles. Service is excellent, fast and honest. Daniel was very cordial and easy to deal with.

I took my Avalanche truck to AAMCO on the Eastside of El Paso off Lomaland Dr. Daniel on the up front desk is knowledge, courteous, and is on hes a game. They worked on the AC did a great job and had me in and out. I will be taking my vehicles to AAMCO from now on. NO MORE STRESS

It was ok they would not take any walk-ins and appoitment was 7 days delayed took my truck some where else but i understand they were booked solid

I cannot say enough amazing things about Daniel! He listened to me when I explained everything we have had to go through with the Nissan Altima and its terrible Transmission.AAMCO did thorough diagnostic testing before jumping to replacing the transmission even though that is what was recommended to us. Anything they could do to save it they did and because of the type of transmission it needs to be changed.We just paid off the last $4K on this car two weeks ago so now being face with a $4K bill to repair ir was very stressful. Daniel assisted us with getting a Car Care Credit to cover the cost of the repairs and there is no interest for 12 months, so even better!Daniel was always so welcoming and kind!My husband went in to the shop to drop off the vehicle and I always get nervous since he is a muscular black man and he was treated with dignity and respect. He was not treated poorly whatsoever and I, as a woman was never treated poorly because I did not understand any of the car lingo.Daniel broke everything down for us and explained things in detail and made this by far the best car repair experience we have EVER had.

I am grateful and pleased. The guys at the shop did an incredible job and Im so happy to have my AC up and running again. I appreciate them for keeping me up to date with everything that was going on with my car. Even when they were delivered the wrong part they let me know and ordered the correct one over night! I know I could have gone to a cheaper place but Im a firm believer in you get what you pay for and Im confident with my repair as much as they are. They even have a warranty on it! Great guys cant wait to do business with them again.FYIIf you want to save money, cash is the way to go. They accept card, but the service they use to process it charges about 3% which when dealing with cars can add up to a lot. Still its not to bad.

Great trustworthy service. I took my Jeep commander 2 years ago for the transmission and as expected is still running great. I recently took my truck to have the AC compressor fixed and they gave me the run down of how it works and what they needed to get done to have it up and running again properly. Service manager is very professional, will definitely come back if another vehicle has an issue.

Very professional staff . Had no problem diagnosing the problem and was able to give me a very reasonable price to get my transmission fixed.

The dealership had my vehicle for over a week and was barely able to pull the codes on my car in that time frame. The issue was not under warranty and their quote was outrageous. I called Aamco west and they quoted a fair price and were very accommodating. I towed my car to Aamco and they had already ordered my part. It took them 1 full day and I got a call in the morning that my car was ready!! The entire time, Armie kept in touch with me. If she said she would call me back, she did!! What a difference from the dealership!! Great vehicle service, great customer service, fair prices...definitely a quality auto shop!

Good experience, I really have nothing to say in a negative way. I know the next repair planned, Ill have to leave my truck over night but Im OK with that. I plan to return to Aamco in the future.

Got my car working and have a good payment plan. Work comes with a warranty. Labor is more than other places though $135/hr I believe. They somehow didnt notice the clicking sound my car makes if the air is turned on even though I paid to get my air fixed. Yes I forgot to mention it. Air is working but now I have to go back to see why its still clicking

Overall give them a 10 from rebuilding my transmission on my Escalade to good quality service & were updating me with what was going on at all times. Highly recommended

I travel across Texas for a living and use my car to go every where! I got to El Paso on Monday started to hear some clanking on Tuesday and brought my car in today and was serviced immediately! They found a driveshaft for my old 2012 Mercedez GLK and told me it would be fixed by Friday. Danny was the nicest shop manager! So professional and understanding. The shop was extremely clean and all the mechanics were very nice. The price was right and I really appreciate the help! Thank you AAMCO El Paso!!!

Called for a quote on a transmission swap and the guy that answered me just said “hhhmm to be honest I don’t know the numbers from the top of my head “ I gave him all the information of the car that I thought he would need and again he just said “ hhhmm I’m just going to give you a range between 900-1100” so why even bother trusting them with my vehicle, if they don’t even know how to quote you.

I came in panicking because the last mechanic I went to over charged me and still fixed the wrong thing. Rafa at the front desk took his time to explain my situation and actually help me. Long story short, they fixed my car, identified the real issue and charged me fairly. The service and customer service was absolutely amazing. I believe my car has new mechanic.

Stopped in on an emergency basis at 3:00 in the afternoon just before closing on a Tuesday afternoon. I had a serious transmission problem and I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible to proceed to California. It takes several days to repair a transmission and I was on a time schedule. Ty was able to get me anew transmission ordered. The transmission did not arrive until almost 2:30 the following day. The techs already had my transmission out and started installing the new one as soon as it arrived. 2 people worked on the car and were able finish the install, test drive and re-check in a little over 3 hours time. They stayed past closing time and saved me a extra night in the hotel room. I was so happy I bought the guys dinner. The truck is working perfectly and I finished my trip. I know for a fact this shop was very busy and stopped what hey were doing to get me back the road as fast as possible.

People seem friendly but dont be fooled. We went in to get our vehicles a/c diagnosed and were told it was a compressor and the other needed a full conversion. Total cost were going to be 2400!!! Took them else where 200 later our a.c. are up and running. Nothing wrong with compressor. Be careful and better to do business with honest people.

The shop is clean g smells good, has a TV and 4 seats.The reason for 4 & not 5 stars is because upon dropping off my vehicle I was not offered any form of contract (I had to ask). Also, I was never contacted about the possible day for pick up, I had to call to check.All in all I do highly recommend this AAMCO as I got a 3 year warranty on my transmission and my vehicle feels new again.Thank you to the mechanics for your great work!

We were recommended by this repair facility by a good friend of my wife that she works with. Our car was not shifting correctly so we brought it in to Aamco to be checked out. The manager was honest and up front about everything. He kept us up to date and cleared everything with me before he started the repairs. The repair cost matched up exactly with the estimate. I was offered financing options if I needed them. The other thing I liked was the 3 year unlimited mile nationwide warranty I was given. This far exceeded the competition for about the same price. I would call this a five star experience.

I recommend this shop to anyone that is trying to find a repair shop to keep there vehicle in top working order. For example, i had an overheating issue with my truck and they found the cause very quickly. They even took me in without an appointment! Fair prices, great service and a very clean shop and waiting room.

Took in my wifes Charger for a blown transmission after the dealer had it for 3 weeks and didnt touch it. Dealer was charging me 3200 for a used trans with 1year warranty. Ty charged me way less for a full rebuild with a 2 year warranty and got the car back in a week. Ty has a great bunch of guys working there, very friendly and professional.

When I found some problem in my car I go directly into the Elpaso to repair my car. They are very honest and there environment also good, Because they are experience enough and quickly find the problem and try to solve in a quick time. The most important think is there is time management. They ensure to provide you vehicle in time. I just love there service.

I used the free multi point inspection coupon I got from their website and was really pleased with the whole process.

I brought in my Dodge diesel with almost 300,000 miles on it to get a transmission rebuild (dealer wanted $7000.00 for reman unit). They did a good job on the truck, it is working as good as ever for about 1/2 the price. Was only down for 5 days, not bad on a major transmission job.

I was on a road trip with a few friends, when our car started to have problems. I wasnt sure if it was the engine or something else, so we took it to the nearest place possible, which happened to be AAMCO.Out of all places this could have happened to us, I am glad it happened near an AAMCO because their customer service is amazing. The staff helped us out quickly knowing we were in a time crunch and had our car checked in no time. The customer service team knew exactly what they were talking about and were very friendly. Although, I hate having car issues, I had a really good experience with AAMCO.

I f I could give this shop 10 Stars I would. I was broke down after getting some fuel and the sent me a tow truck (free towing). After arriving at the shop they promptly checked my car only to find out the battery terminal was corroded and just needed cleaned and tightened. They did not charge me for the repair, but I insisted on paying for the towing. As a woman it is not easy to find a shop you can trust, but I felt very comfortable with the manager and the technicians.

I cannot recommend this place enough for all of your car repair needs. The owner Ty is very knowledgable and has good prices. He doesnt rip you off on anything. I moved away from El Paso but if I lived here, this is where I would take my car for all of its maintenance.

Hello yes this shop is clean but...what is important is the repair of your vehicle and customer service. This is my story, i called the shop the person i talked to was nice and asked me what was the problem with my truck. After telling him the problem he told me he will send a tow truck to pick up my truck. After a few hours he called me and told me that the transmission needed to be replaced, i specifically asked him so how much will it cost he game the price and told me that it will take 3 days to fix it. Well after 10 days i called and asked the status he told me that it will take 2 more days! when i went to get my vehicle the price had changed he had added other parts that i did not tell him to install. And when i asked him why did he do this with out asking me first he war rude and told me i will take the parts out but your truck wont run he was rude and in my opinion and experience with this establishment he is a rip-off and is just out to make out money! DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET I! And if you do make sure you get your price in writing before they start working on your car. I will also be posting on the BBB site about this AAMCO place customers need to know what kind of place this is no matter how clean it looks!

My husbands car has now been there fpr 3 months and they just keep saying oh tomorrow Im going to get a new transmission he has gotten 4 new transmissions and told me he could fix it no matter what and he still hasnt and they are very rude telling me they will hang up on me? Thats not how you treat your customers.. Im sick of there attitude and i wouldnt recommend them at all!!

I am not a car person by any means, but I went to get my check engine light figured out because my vehicle inspection was finally up. The Firestone on base tried to replace 3 separate parts and charge me upwards of $500 dollars. I googled it, decided I probably just needed a part cleaned and didnt have the tools. So I went to AAMCO. In less than 45 minutes, they had me back on the road, lights clear, part cleaned, and at no cost. These guys are the best. Id had great experiences with AAMCOs elsewhere, I dont even know why I tried anything else.

We dropped off the van and they said they would call us in 2 hours (never happen). Finally we had to call them and they said the lines and internal issues in the transmission. The bill was coming out 1,800.00!!! and they Finance...We took the van with another mechanic and it was only a ripped pipe....nothing wrong with the lines neither transmission. BIG SCAM...try to get a second opinion before spending hundreds!!

I had my car towed in when the transmission went bad and i could not afford to have a new or rebuilt transmission put in it because I am going to college. Ty was able to find me a used transmission for me and install it and although this is a used transmission, still gave me a year warranty! They finished the job in 2 days and my cars works perfectly! Thank You Aamco of Elpaso Texas. Went in for my transmission check-up (free). Still working fine!

Lousy service and schedule management. Dont tell a customer to bring the vehicle in the morning to have it worked on and then tell them it might be worked on the following morning. ESPECIALLY when its a return job that YOUR Shop didnt do right the first time. As customers we have better things to do than dealing with a business that doesnt keep their word.Simple repair was needed and you think it would be a priority to service a customer that already spent over 2k having work done there. Find a better trans shop that doesnt over schedule their work.

I went in to get my transmission scanned since it kept slipping n leaking fluid, from my research I concluded it was the input seal, then I of course needed a pro to check n confirm an found aamco whose reviews are great so I went n the old guy said it was an internal problem n I needed to replace it or rebuild..nothing else about what was specifically wrong, I dont know if he was just feeling lazy or tried taking advantage cuz Im young but he sure as hell was quick to get me to finance for the $1899 transmission repair, later I found it was the torque converter seal from another mechanic n had it fixed for $150, seriously disappointed in aamco

I called on New Years Eve with an emergency repair needed, as I was just passing through on a road trip. They were already closed, and would be closed on New Years Day, but he gave me advice over the phone and we very helpful.

I brought in my Ford Taurus with an overheating problem on a Saturday morning and I really needed my car back for work. They located a radiator fan assembly and stayed late on a Saturday to install it for me. This was my first visit to Aamco on Lomaland Road and I would have to give it a 5 star rating. They have a nice clean waiting room with free wifi also.

Wonderful people at Aamco on Loamland Road. Took me out in the shop to show me the oil leak on my car. The shop was very clean. Arranged for a ride home for me. Then picked me up the next day when the car repair was completed.

Complete rip off. Prices are ridiculous. Had the vehicle for 2 years before it started giving me problems. Took it here....big mistake.
