I would rate a negative 5 stars if I could. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had when dealing with glasses, from Dr. Clarks office next door to Visionworks itself. The doctor got both of our prescriptions wrong the first time. When we returned to have our eyes checked again, Dr. Clark was rude and condescending. I will never set foot in his office again. When we went next door to Visionworks to get our glasses, the first time, the sales girl was new and had no clue how to take our order. She finally stumbled through the process. We returned to pick up the glasses and neither one of us could see out of them only to be told that we just needed to get used to the new prescriptions. I had to take mine off to see to drive home. My daughter has a headache after only 5 minutes of wearing hers. When we went back the second time, after Dr. Clark finally redid the prescriptions, we were met with by a rude sales clerk. The manager stepped in and took care of us at that point. My daughter has had nothing but trouble with her frames. We have to have the adjusted constantly and now the nose piece has fallen off 3 times in 3 weeks. We went back in AGAIN for another nose piece only to be told that the nose pieces are not part of the frame and that I did not purchase the additional warranty when the first clueless sales girl told me they were covered by a one year warranty and never offered me the choice to purchase a warranty for either pair of glasses. We had two new nose pieces put on and told by the sales clerk that you just need to get used to them when my daughter said they felt sticky. Unfortunately, I will have to continue to deal with this location until next April when I can go elsewhere for a new pair of glasses. Staff needs a lesson in customer service and need to be properly trained.

Their quality of frames was great, as compared to other local stores. It was fun deciding what frame to get. Norma G. helped me decide on what to get for my lenses, and I ended up going with the blue light protection. I feel great about my purchase.

I came here to purchase new glasses after being so disappointed in America’s Best. Has an appointment schedule this week, that I had to schedule about a month in advance. Two days before, I received a call that they couldnt electronically verify my insurance. I confirmed that I had insurance and they were listed as a premier provider for it. Since it wasnt coming up in the computer, they said Id have to self pay. I canceled the appointment. Telling me this after I waited one month for an appointment is unacceptable. Also. Checking with the insurance myself, I am covered by this provider. If they would have been willing to call the insurance the issue would have been resolved. Lazy, unprofessional work. Glad this has prompted me to go elsewhere.

I’ve been going to visionworks since they were located in cielo vista. The lady who normally helps me wasn’t there, but Norma was great! I have always felt so welcome here and they can always fix my issues, from broken glasses to a simple lens cleaning. I don’t like going anywhere else.

I went to go pick out some frames yesterday and Norma helped me out tremendously. She was extremely patient and I was in and out. I cannot wait for my glasses to arrive!

Was informed we could not enter without our temperature being taken. Waited for 5 minutes while the two employees were with other customers. Finally asked again if we could have our temperature taken or if we should come back. Was informed we needed to continue waiting. It literally takes 5 seconds to take a temperature.

I have been buying classes here for over 10 years. I really like the big selection of frames. Plus I like the buy one get one free offer as I am always misplacing one. Just wish they had flexon frames for women. The staff have always been very courteous and helpful. Only wish they had a new west side location. Highly recommend this place.

Called in the morning if I was required to make an appointment and they said just to go in because they take in walk ins, when I got there i noticed the sign on the door states “walk ins welcome” I signed in and waited; the staff saw me and didn’t even care to acknowledge me. After 15 minutes they asked what I wanted and when I asked for an eye exam it was just “oh we don’t have anything” while the one person there had left.You guys should make up your mind if you want customers or not; start with customer service because it’s disgusting.

Darin did an excellent job assisting me with my glasses! I purchased my glasses from Visionworks in Virginia. I recently moved to El Paso and noticed my glasses needed adjustment as they kept Ed sliding off my face— they were loose. I walked in and explained what I needed and Darin didn’t hesitated to adjust them. He also cleaned them for me. I really appreciate the service and will definitely be going back to Visionworks for my another exam and glasses.

This place uses bait to lure in its victims. I was looking to buy an extra set of glasses and I was lured in to Vision Works at Cielo Vista Mall because of a flyer that had 2 pairs of eye glasses for $29 dollars. When I got there they were very friendly until I mentioned that I wanted the $29 special. They said they were out and that the sale had expired. So I left and I came back with the flyer and they got somewhat upset. They told me to pick a frame and they left to attend another customer. Once I chose my frame, they wanted a recent prescription from a doctor, they did not want to use my prescription from my eyeglasses. So I left and I went straight to their competitors. I got my eyeglasses fast and for the same price without hassles and they even used my current eye glass prescription. Rule of thumbs - anything too good to be true inside a mall is false. I dont recommend this place unless you like paying too much.

Hate the whole process, making an eye appointment, picking out frames, then the wait. The staff here made my experience pleasant. There are a good choice of frames and the staff are excellent. My 3 pair of progressive lenses were delivered on time as promised and received a call to notify me. Although the whole process is a pain, if you have to do it I highly recommend them.
