I ordered 3 bags of stuff and picked noon as my pickup time. We ordered a birthday present for my daughters friend, thinking we would just pick it up before the party. It took them 45 minutes to bring it out to my vehicle and my daughter was almost an hour late to the celebration. No, I couldnt go inside, as I hurt my leg and couldnt walk. Also, going inside sucks now, as there is no longer a cashier to check out my items. Customer service is gone from this store.

Employees are rude..Had one guy stocking that could not keep the F word out of his mouth.. The young lady who runs the front also likes to give ugly faces when you ask her to remove items from your total that do nit ring up the correct prices

I love that this place has everything from home goods, gardening, an auto center, a pharmacy, office supplies, clothing, electronic and groceries. The only thing I hate is its not a 24 hrs store anymore. It was great when u could go in at midnight and shop without all the traffic. Now I kinda avoid going here cuz its always so busy. They may have better prices but its not worth it when its so crowded.

Clean friendly, friendly people and employees, large store that is well stocked with easy freeway access.

As always, the associates are kind, polite, and respectful. All while being ready and able to assist you in any way possible.

Ive 185 miles away but always shopped there when in Elko. Not so sure I will again. Store changed & looks more like second hand store. Grocery section has no changes so no complaints there. But rest of store a disaster. Couldnt find anything. Few if any straight aisles except fir in front of registers. Only found 2 staffed registers. All rest were self-help. All in all, store not senior friendly particularly for those who are handicapped.

I had a new prescription to get filled so I had some time to look around.most of the staff were helpful.

Need to better assist the Elderly that are needing help out of the store to their vehicles. Need possibly wheelchairs and maybe some oxygen.

Place is so large I had to ask for help. Nice associate walked me to where I needed to go. Found most of what I needed.

Wired money and process was quite easy. I was concerned about this but after some little of no use discussion with the employee my daughter was able to explain the process from her end. Thank you. I would only suggest Wal-Mart customer service train their personnel better on customer service and the process of procedures to explain more readily to those customers needing assistance. All in all though it worked out copecetivally.

Massive store. Pretty much anything you want but hard to find. Even the employees were not sure where items are located.

Note to two stars cant keep employees was there on a Saturday a year ago had to wait around for 2 and 1/2 hours for someone to bring the keys to unlock the cabinets where the power tools were locked in. My total purchases that day was nearly $500. The assistant manager who was supposed to have the keys was on the loading docks. Because the store does not have a receiving clerk. Very low employee morale. They still did not have an employee assigned to the hardware and paint section of the store. I got the number for the district manager to file a complaint against the store and the manager does not work on weekends. Was in there last week and bought some tools and sander and I still had to wait for somebody to show up with a key.

I have never visited a Walmart as the one in Elko. EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful!

The guys in the automotive dept. Were amazing. I will always be a customer to them for the service I received. Thank you guys! Excellent service for sure..

It was nice that they not only have the better self register layout with about a dozen stations, but it was also manned well. It was kind of weird not having ANY cashier stations open at only 9p... but Im from the East coast where we have 24 hour super Walmart and our local grocery are open till about midnight. So, maybe places close a lot earlier here.We found what we needed and were in and out quick; Everything you WANT when you go to Walmart but rarely do lol.

Its a Walmart. But its pretty clean and tidy. But they never have enough checkers for the people who dont like to use the self checkouts. Im one of those people I dont like the self check out things so they need to git more checkers I think.

Really big. Lots of parking space. Easy access back on highway. But, I HATE THE KIOSKS. Much prefer a checkout person.

I was just passing through and stopped at the automotive department to follow up on the instructions on my receipt. Id purchased tires the day before at the Fallon location. The instructions on the receipt said to get the lugnuts retorqued after 50 miles.Heather was working and was super helpful and informative.

Over the years this walmart has tried to better themselves but the one thing they cant get is how many carts they leave on the floor and leaving enough space for wheel chairs.

It was busy but I always love Walmart 💘

This Walmart is always out of everything they dont enforce COVID 19 Mask Mandates. Most people arent wearing masks even some employees.

Normally Im a Walmart fanboy. Id go twice a week if I could. After the last month or so Ill try to avoid this Walmart completely. The back of the store where the dairy and frozen foods live smells like something died in there. Literally smells like rotting flesh in the grocery store. I asked a manager about it on my last visit and was told that its because the trash compactor is in the back room in that part of the store and they had to throw away some bad fish. Pro tip. Id you gotta throw away meat, take it outside, or empty the trash compactor. And it wasnt just one isolated incident. Has happened about 3 times in the last month or so.

The future is here! Completely resigned the store especially the front. Mostly self checkout kiosks. Living the dream!

The self checkout is ridiculous. No room to ring up a carts worth of groceries. Ill remember to shop at Smiths next time.

Elko Walmart is horrible. No one can ever help find anything, its never their department. They are always out of stock at least 1 or 2 items each time we are shopping here. Tonight was the worst. Boxes and boxes COVERING the same aisles we needed to shop in. Couldnt find an employee so we had to squeeze through mounds of boxes to find what we were looking for. This is a Saturday around 6:30PM... not midnight when they should be restocking. Ridiculous. I havent been here in about 5 months. Shopping online mostly now. Elko wonders why most people go out of town or online? Heres a great example.

Good store, good selection, Im always able to find someone when Im having a hard time finding something. They are currently doing a remodel/reset, so things are hard to find sometimes. 😁😜

Great prices and long lines but fast transactions. Only con is they are behind in staff so things aren’t restocked for a little bit.

I had to interrupt three people on their phones texting to ask where the butt paste for my son was. I was ignored by two of them and the one didnt have a clue. I never found it. They stayed in the one baby aisle standing around talking and texting. For like 10 minutes. Super annoying. Maybe thats why the shelves are always bare? Idk.

Walmart used to have great prices but now they suck. All the prices do. I do not recommend Walmart to go shopping. Smiths and Albertsons has the best prices for food wise. But all the prices jacked

Elko customer service is the worst, there was a line of maybe 13-15 people at returns, a handful of yellow vested employees chatting and talking near the front restrooms walking about. 2 people at customer service and the poor guy was doing it all, while the other lady kept pulling out paper towels and wiping the same counter like 4 times. You can tell she was taking her time so she didn’t have to help walking back and forth to the bathroom, and kept saying I’m trying to hurry. One lady in line asked the group of yellow vested employees if someone else could come up and help at customer service cause this was ridiculous, for one to say we will see what we can do and then all of a sudden all yellow rated employees disappeared and NO one came to help. What a poor system Walmart has. My total wait time at customer service was 44 minutes.

We stopped in today hoping to find a good camera that would sync with a smartphone so we could upload and share photos easily. Lucky for us, Stephanie was working today in electronics. She patiently listened to our list of features we were looking for and she popped up with the Nikon Coolpix B600 for $299. Its exactly what we were looking for and we love it. Its so helpful when the electronics department associates know their stuff. Thank you, Elko NV Wal-Mart and especially Stephanie in electronics!!

This place stinks! The only registers that are even open are for self checkout. Unless I see a paycheck Im not going to be working the Job of a cashier and ring my own stuff out! I left my whole shopping cart there in the aisle and walked out.

Saturday before 4th of July and theyve got nothing but self checkout open on grocery side! No registers with cashiers to help anybody self checkout on pharmacy side closed. If youre disabled, or just old and tired, dont shop at Walmart!

On June 3 I was in the Elko Walmart for the first time in several months. I can’t express how disappointed I was to find that there are only four actual cashiers. However there are 20 or so self checkouts. Needless to say I will not be shopping at the Elko Walmart any longer. If I’m grocery shopping in Elko it will be Albertsons or Smiths.

As of the end of April 2021 this Walmart is the process of being completely remodeled with greatly extended self-checkout slots and only a few checker-manned lanes. Seems like many of the aisles are narrower and they are trying to fit more into the store which may be a good thing because this Walmart often sees shortages on shelves. Pet department has been moved closer to the grocery instead of at the other end of the store. They are promoting an extended liquor section. A couple years ago this used to be a 24-hour Walmart and then it was changed to shortened daily hours. The beauty salon here has been closed, with no posting of what is to take its place and the bank here, Greater Nevada Credit Union, now only has unmanned kiosks since they open their full service branch on Idaho. There is a Subway, eye care center and a nail salon.

Its the only store in our area within a hundred or so miles.. so we have to go here.. you get what you get here.. good or bad.

Mostly self checkout. If you use assisted checkout plan on a very long wait.

They are always changing things, getting rid of the items Im used to buying...NOW they have gotten rid of the checkers.I buy alot of groceries and dont appreciate having to check myself out. Great stop for restocking supplies and camp out in RV for the night.

They close most of the registers on the busiest shopping days of the month and on holidays . The cashiers that are on register which is very few spend more time socializing then doing their jobs. It takes longer to check out then it does to shop . Wont be shopping here very often unless I am only getting 2 or 3 items that I can go through self checkout with since WalMart dont care about its customers.

You really have to make some improvements in the grocery pickup department. Service is just beyond acceptable. The associates dropped the bags of items in front of the entire parking lot then delivered them to the buyers like nothing happened, orders get delivered to the wrong person, the associate came up to my car to say Hi and dropped the cart that rolled forward and hit my drivers door putting scratches on it.I didnt complain about that because it was an accident and they wouldnt have done anything anyway unless maybe if I got ahold of the corporate. I dont even try to shop there anymore unless its one or two items. For big purchases, Smiths or Albertsons it is. Albertsons now has the online grocery shop and pick up option also and never had any issues with them. Up the service in that department as competitors are way ahead on that Walmart

Have shopped at this store since it was built. I was disappointed to find a skateboard that I was looking for had been used by someone at the store as the plastic cover was ripped off and dirty footprints were all over the board, yet the employee acted as if nothing was wrong with it.Went to Big 5.

This Walmart is better then the average Walmart simply because the cashiers are friendly and pretty quick. What can I say its a Walmart. Its OK for most things.

The customer service is horrible, especially at self checkout. And they let child molesters work there, during covid. Masks are required, and it makes it even scarier that the predator can cover thier face. A back ground check would have revealed this vital information.

I can usually find everything I need its usually well stocked and theres always self checkout if the lines are long
