We were five hours away from Windy Chevrolet and he worked us in the same day!!! We were selling our car and it was to go to the new owner the next day. The detailing was BEYOND PERFECT!!! It was a 2017 Toyota and it looked like a 2022 new car!!! A HUGE THANK YOU!!!!! No this is not a paid advertisement, just an over the top thankful, happy customer!!! 10 STARS!!!!
I have bought several vehicles from Windy Chevrolet but this last purchase was by far the best experience. I had purchased one of their used vehicles 2 weeks ago. Not more than 15 minutes after leaving the lot the check engine light came on. I called that Monday and had the light checked by the service department. Turns out that it was the catalytic converter. This was not covered by my extended warranty. I called extremely upset and Ron and Aaron asked my husband and I to come in to see what they could do. We went in and they assisted us in getting into a different vehicle which turned out to be much newer and better for us. It was a trouble free experience and my husband and I were very happy with the treatment we received. Thanks again Aaron and Ron. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox and was driving from Seattle to Idaho. My car started showing a check engine light and lacking power. I stopped in at Windy Chevrolet, Cheyenne, one of the sales people, greeted me. Asked what I needed. Led me back to the service department and introduced me to McKenzie Dalton, a service advisor. McKenzie took the time to look to see if it was a simple fix. It was and I was on my way.I really appreciated the way they were willing to help.

Outstanding service! The water pump went out on our 2018 Silverado as we were leaving Ellensburg. We were far from home and a little concerned about how long it may take to get the repair completed. The service department worked us in to diagnose the problem. The pump was installed the next day and we were able to continue on. The whole team was excellent. Thanks so much for the great service!

We believe they did not check the vehicle we bought from them throughly enough. We have had it serviced 3 times in less than one year of ownership and all three times not figuring out the main problem. Finally took it to another place and hopefully got the root problem solved.

I went to windy Chevrolet because my breaks were grinding. I showed up with no appointment and Mackenzie and Brian were so friendly and nice, they helped ease my dealership anxiety as I have had bad experiences in the past. They got back to me regarding the issue within a few hours and my car was done by 8am the next morning. They were upfront, honest, efficient and even were able to save me some money from the overall cost which was a big added bonus. All in all I cannot recommend windy enough to those around the ellensburg area. Thanks again :)
My wife and I were on vacation last week and our Silverado had a check engine light come on. On Star diagnosed it as an ECM (Electronic Control Module) issue and told us we needed to get it into a dealership to get it fixed. We were on I90 headed toward Moses Lake. The dealership there told us it would be at least a week before they could take a look at my truck.I called Windy Chevy and they told me they would work me in that day. I turned around and got there about 1 pm. They worked us in and had us out by shortly after 3pm, with the problem fixed. They did this all on the fly and saved our vacation. Windy was not the dealership we purchased our Silverado from, as we do not live in the area. They stepped up and immediately did the repair, and did it right. No further problems.I highly recommend this dealership. Great service, and friendly and accommodating to us and our two dogs who were traveling with us. I will consider buying from them next time even though it is a drive. I really appreciated their willingness to help us when we needed it.

I would have said ZERO stars if I could!! We have taken 3 vehicles in for service in the last 6 months and each one has been a mess when we get it back. Husband’s work truck went in for rear brakes, brake flush, and coolant flush. They left the brake manifold flush cap on and took 3 months to get a replacement cap for it. They emptied the glove box and didn’t return the items, and left greasy hand prints all over the interior. They told us it needed an oil change, which had just been done the week before. Took my Suburban in for an oil change and they left the oil cap off, and now I have a leak that I never had! With my husband’s personal truck we took it in for an oil change and the cap was left off. They then told us he needed $9k worth of work, including an oil change which it was in for, but failed to mention the brakes and shocks that we knew needed to be done.All in all, there was nothing that was done right!!! The service manager called to apologize and told me they clearly needed to do better!!!
After having a terrible situation with an out of town dealership on a car detail, I had THE best experience today with an interior detail at Windy.I called up Mckenzie and asked for her advise and help with the best person to detail my car and she referred me to Shelby who did an amazing job--literally SO impressed-- was upfront about the price, timeframe and open communication with the expectations.If you are looking for amazing service contact either one of these women and they will gladly help you out. 10/10 would recommend and will use again in the future.

I took a vehicle in for work to get an oil change. Before bringing this work vehicle in I called to check the time to make sure I was on time. The time I had was confirmed by whoever I spoke with.When I attempted to drop the vehicle off I was told the oil change would take 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours before it would be finished. When I asked why it was going to take the long I was told thats how long it takes for an oil change here due to COVID. I let them know that the vehicle I had was needed for transportation in one hour and I couldnt complete the appointment in that case. I was very frustrated that this information wasnt shared prior to showing up for the appointment, given they had two chances. When the appointment was made and when I called to confirm.Windy Chevrolet then called to complain to my work that I was rude, something a petulant child would do. I strongly recommend not bringing vehicles here for service.

On June 28, 2021 I drove a rented moving truck across Washington State during 100+ degree weather. Just before Ellensburg the check engine light came on. When I called the rental companies number, they said it would be over an hour before I could talk to someone about roadside assistance. I made my way to the Windy Chevrolet service department where Zack was incredibly helpful. He changed a fuse, and determined that the light was on because of an O2 sensor. He had me back on the road quickly, friendly and did not charge me a dime. Over two hours later, the rental company got back to me. Zack was very professional and saved my trip! Thank you Zack!!

Fantastic Service!I was headed to my old home in Washington on Christmas Eve to get the last trailer load of stuff and to pick up my wife when my truck suddenly would only run in second gear. I looked up the local Chevrolet dealer and pulled in to see if they could help.Mackenzie, the service representative, was outstanding and helped get my truck in quickly to be diagnosed. Turns out the transmission control module had gone out. I arrived at Windy Chevrolet at straight up noon and I was on my way home by 2:30 pm. They retrieved a part from Yakima which took up most of the time. They even found a place for me to park my 16’ trailer.Truly a Christmas miracle! Great service from the counter to the shop.

Booked my service appointment online for 60k service. Was called the night before to be told the website was incorrect and shuttle service wasnt available to take me to work.Dropped my car off the next day and confirmed 60k mile service. When i came to pickup my car only an oil change had been done (not everything listed in a 60k mile service online) and they had quoted several things based on the inspection. Which was great except serveral of them were things described in the service i ordered. When i brought this up i was told that the website is incorrect, that they have this issue all the time. But no one told me before hand so i was extremely disappointed to find out only my oil had been changed.I also find it dissapointing that they no longer wash your car. And i was annoyed to find they had parked my car and left it unlocked until my arrival.

McKenzie in the service department was very helpful when I recently had work done on my vehicle. She was very communicative and did everything she could to make the service process easy for me. She coordinated evening drop off and pick-up and worked with my service contract provider to get me the best coverage possible on the work.It would be awesome if Windy Chevrolet offered loaners when work is being done but that’s certainly not standard with most other mechanics either. Overall a great experience!
Had a problem on I-90 and just dropped in with no appointment and my car was an Acura, not a Chevrolet, and these guys, Jason Hynek and Ike Grimes jumped on it! They put it on the rack and I was back on the road in less than an hour!! These guys know what service is all about! Will highly recommend them and probably check them out if I am ever in the market for another vehicle. Very refreshing to experience this level of service!

Want to share my superb experience doing business with Windy Chevrolet. I bought a beautiful pre-owned Ford F250 from Aaron Murdock at WC. Aaron was honest, straightforward, and worked hard for my business.Unfortunately, the trucks check engine light came on a few days after I had brought it home, and a subsequent diagnosis at WC determined it was due to a bad catalytic converter. Well, WC, without my even asking them, are making it right by performing the $1,000 for replacement and work free of charge. Brought my car in for a check engine light. They said it had a bunch of codes and they would need to do some diagnostic testing to figure it out. They had to talk to GM to get answers and it did take a couple of days but Jason called me everyday to assure me that they were on it and they hadnt forgotten about me! Its always a pain in the butt when youre without your car but they did get it figured out and I really appreciated the communication!! If you take your car in talk to Jason!!

What an unreal experience, not only did we get an extremely fair trade in value but we also got a new vehicle for what we wanted payment wise. I would pay more alone for the customer service! Had been in touch with Conner Reed a couple months ago; let him know what we were looking for in a pre-owned truck. He didnt have anything at the time but committed to keeping an eye out and communicating with us if/when he did. Well, true to his word, we got a text about 6 weeks later... he nailed it. Made the trip over, he had the paperwork ready and after a test drive, we had a seemless transaction. Way to go Conner and the rest of the team at Windy Chevrolet. You folks are top shelf. My family and I were on vacation pulling our 5th wheel trailer and my truck went into limp mode coming up a hill. The nearest dealership was Windy Chevrolet and I called and was told to bring it in and they would look at it to see if they could help us. Jason got us in almost right away and told us we could wait to see what was wrong. It turned out to be a hose clamp and they got us back on the road in 45 minutes! Jason was very helpful and I would recommend Windy Chevrolet for service to anyone!!

Let me start by saying I usually dont take my cars to dealerships for service work. They are usually overpriced and pushy! I didnt have a choice but to go to the dealership on this occasion. They figured out what was wrong and of course found other things that my that were wrong with my truck. I was pleasantly surprised when Jason talked me through everything, took care of the repair that my truck needed that day and gave me an itemized estimate for everything else it needed. He wasnt trying to make me fix everything at once and even told me what was important soon and what could be pushed out and done later. I appreciate integrity and it seems Ive found my new shop.

Great service department! My truck spent 3 days at the gmc dealer across town and the never fixed it. 2 hours at windy and the found the problem and got it fixed. Staff very friendly and explained everything to me. I will be going back there for all my services.
They replaced my battery that was about 14 months old...no charge. I was told at the time it was replaced the battery had a 48 month warranty, only to find out that I spent $198.98 for a battery with a 12 month warranty...and now I have a battery with NO warranty...not feeling good about the experience, but I guess they technically did a whole lot more than they had to.
I recently brought my car in to Windy Chev with a mystery problem no one seemed to be able to figure out. Mckenzie and David went above and beyond to figure out the problem and get the car running properly again! Thank you so much to them and everyone that was involved in resolving the problem!!! I was in town for the holidays and noticed that my truck needed an oil change so I called Windy Chevrolet to see if they had an opening. Mckenzie answered the phone and she was able to get me in that afternoon. While in the shop they noticed that my front brakes were very warn and needed replacement. Im not very experienced with cars so Mckenzie walked me through the importance of the parts that she was recommending and we found the best option for me. Windy Chevrolet did a great job. They not only picked me up from home to get me to my car in time for work, Mackenzie in service personally removed a bird that had been struck by my car and got stuck im the grill. Thank you for going the extra mile.
