The best parts store in town. They have the best quality aftermarket parts, most knowledgeable staff, and competitive prices. I have been using them for the last ten years and have gotten to know all of them well. You wont get an inexperienced counter person that is relying on what the computer says when you walk in to their store. They have always been beyond helpful, honest, and prompt. I will continue to pump money into their company for many years to come.

This is the only auto parts store I will go to.. these are car guys that can actually know things about cars.. and theyre good people. Nobody is perfect but if there is a problem they handle it perfectly.

Always super helpful. If they cant get you a part, no one can. Sometimes requires a bit of patience. They can usually get stuff a day or two before anyone online without shipping cost at the same price, and they are the epitome of service with a smile. There arent a lot of franchise stores left these days, so if you have the chance, support them.

Not too pleased with my experience here. I got two Fancy wheel hub/bearing assemblies for my Jeep and one of them was the Basic bearing in an expensive bearing box. They claimed they ordered me a new bearing and when I returned to pick it up, it was the exact same bearing I received the day prior. TO make matters worse, it had previously installed, which was obvious by the amount of heat soak in the metal. Stay away or dont let your guard down here. Went over to advance auto and got 25% off two wheel bearings shipped right to my door.

Great service and whats better is they are knowledgeable. You might show them a brg and seal that you need and they wont ask you if your car has AC or not because it has nothing to do with it! Doesnt happen at another parts houses..

What wonderful service! My boyfriend and I were driving from Bellingham, WA to Spokane, WA. My battery was totally dead when trying to start our car at the gas station, forcing us to stay the night. After snagging a jump in the morning, NAPA had a battery ready and installed it in our car free of charge. It was such a relief and an amazing experience during a very stressful situation.

Ellensburg NAPA is not the best one out there but i will tell you one thing. They have the best all around knowledge of mechanics. I am a student at the college in town but have also lived here for a few years. I would say im a pretty knowledgeable person about mechanics and know what im talking about when i go in there. I have worked with NAPA on the west side, through the auto yard i was employed at and i had some respect gained for them there. Moving over here, i have went to every shop to figure out the best shop to go to. What ive found is that they not only will find the best price for you around town(most of the time they arent), they have the best knowledge of diesel and gas vehicles. Ive had MULTIPLE stores try and give me the wrong kind of radiator fluid for my truck and NAPA knew exactly what kind of fluid i needed. Other stores managers actually came and apologized to me later because their employee tried to sell me a product that could potentially ruin my system. Hope this helps anyone stopping in town or trying to figure out what shop they should head to first.

A place to get great advice on cars

A dishonest and deceptive salesperson can ruin the whole store.I ordered several parts online (Yes I entered VIN to get the right parts) to pick them up from the local NAPA auto parts store in Ellensburg. A young male salesperson (20-35 years old, hard to tell) first tried to deny theres a 10% discount for this order. After I showed him his own stores ad, he entered prices higher than what were listed. After I pointed out those price mistakes, he looked frustrated and was reluctant to correct them. To be fair, he did not call me names or beat me up, for which I am still grateful.Whats worse was that after I told him that the parts were for a certain model, trim, and engine type, he still gave me the wrong parts. I admit that it was also my fault not to check each and every item against the service manual right there in the store. Instead I naively chose to believe the NAPA online system (which I gave the VIN) and this NAPA salesperson (which I gave the model, trim, and engine type) to help me find the right parts.I returned these wrong parts to a different salesperson a couple days later. He was nice and professional. But I wouldnt shop at this NAPA again.Alternatives? Autozone, Oreilly, CarQuest, and many others, all in the same area within 0.3 miles.

Unhelpful. Asked for help testing my battery. I have a grand Cherokee and the battery isn’t under the hood...instead of offering to locate the battery he said he couldn’t help me and I’d have to take it to a mechanic. I googled the location of the battery myself, found out it was under the passenger seat, and took it to another auto store for testing.

Bought air filters from here. Did not have part numbers but they helped me to find with kindness.
