We found everything we needed. Three employees were asked locations and they all got us right where we needed to be. The checker was friendly and swift.

We just called for some help in ordering a cabinet, sink and faucet and to have it delivered and installed locally, and Heather Rose went above and beyond to help us out. Amazing customer service- thank you!!

Uh... Its Home Depot, what do you expect? You take the heart, experience and dedication out of the hardware store and this is what you get. Its a massive chain store. Often, it has what you need. Sometimes it doesnt. Most of the staff have no idea what most of its for anyway... But hopefully they know what isle its on.

This store is hurting Customer Service example went in on Saturday to talk snowblowers lady that helped me couldn’t answer my ?. She stated that Carl could at 200pm and she said he would call me so guess what no call .went in today 17 Sep asked for Carl he said that he was to busy to assist me. Guess I don’t need a snowblower from HD

Tried to order several items that were not in stock at the store to have them shipped to my house. The items couldnt be shipped to my house so I was forced to go back through the ordering process to have them shipped to the store. Then they arrived at the store piece by piece and theres a limited window on pick-ups so I had to make multiple trips to the store. The worst part was that using the email prompt for the curbside pick-up apparently doesnt work so I was stuck waiting 20 minutes before I tried to call and then an additional few minutes before the items were brought to me. Worst shopping experience Ive had in a long time. I will never buy online then pickup at the store again.

Didn’t have what I needed The store was pathetically stocked

They never have pellets for the past 3 years when I try to buy a pallet they don’t have any. I have to go to Lowe’s and get there pellets (which are not as good) they need to order more they are obviously selling enough if there always sold out.

Aisles were full of boxes and carts of product not on the shelf. Was hard to get around the store. Very nice check out staff

They have (almost) everything you need for fixing, remodeling your house. In Fairbanks Alaska we are truly at the end of the supply line. Its good to have them here

Cant use any wood carts because the employees have them full of junk. Cant buy lumber because said carts are blocking all the aisles. The Manager needs to pay some folks overtime to get that squared away. At least Lowes’ aisles are navigable.

Found the things that we needed. No one asked if we needed help and the cashier was not in the best of mood.

Had a messup with my companies receipts because, well, of a mistake made by the woman who took my phone order. She didnt really sound like she should be taking phone orders.But, the daytime staff helped me to the best of their abilities. Cant fault them for that. Fixed the problem after 2 lengthy visits.But honestly....Im going to lowes next time, this mistake ended up costing me a alot of time and money.

The store management is awful. Everything from appliances to flooring samples to kitchen cabinet shelves is always, ALWAYS out of stock, but they literally will only have a single employee who can order things for each department, and that person cannot be present for all of their open hours. So good luck getting a hold of that person by phone. Every time you call, you will be told to call back after a certain time when that person gets there, but when you call back, they will be so busy that no one in that department will answer the phone, and then the operator will take a message for you, but no one will ever call you back. This will go on and on until you give up and buy what you wanted somewhere else. Your only option is to physically go to the store and tackle the person who can do the ordering, if they happen to be there at that time. One would think that during a global pandemic that has killed half a million Americans, one could just pick out what they want online and then call and order it and have it delivered. That just seems like it would be easier and safer for everyone, doesnt it? Someone could easily be doing this from home, but the managers at this store are apparently not smart enough to facilitate this in any way, even if means losing sales. This review is based on three separate experiences Ive had at this Home Depot location.

Staff is helpful but the store lacks a lot of essential design items such as hanging bird feeder holders or decent pot hooks for hanging plants.Selection can be dodgey.

Always has great selection at good prices. Helpful people everywhere. I can almost always find what Im looking for. App is great for locating where something is at in the store. Clear down to where in the isle it is.

Absolutely no customer service. Staff would rather stand around chatting about there adventures then assist a customer.

Isles are a bit narrow for two carts to pass one another. Tool area is also packed. But hey! Its Home Depot!!! Best toy store ever!

We walked in the garden center and they had everything we needed except a dump truck load of dirt for the garden and flowering beds but had tons in 55 quart bags

Employees are not very helpful, there answers to the questions are mostly I havent seen that/this, but maybe check this aisle. I maybe have gotten a definitive answer 2-3 times over the last year.

Do not expect very good service. No one who works there has any idea what any of the items do. I highly suggest using a search engine before spending 20 minutes looking for assistance and then asking for help.

The folks know their stuff for plumbing, electric and locks. Thanks to Sonya, Violet and Fran and Joslyn (congrats on the new baby) Heather, Izzy and Phillip, seems like our house is almost ready to move in. Even got a lil jade plant for a friend, but I might have to get another for me.

With pallets of merchandise on the floor it can be hard to navigate the store. They layout seems off but the staff is always willing to help you find what you need

Being in Alaska many companies wont ship to us directly to our home. Usually if they have a store here & a site its more likely theyll ship to us... but HD is hit and miss on what items theyll ship directly to us. For that reason I prefer Lowes.

Got a royal-looking Christmas tree 🎄 earlier today. The clerk packed it up and trimmed the it’s bottom for me. Helpful staff, clean facilities 5 out of 5.

They seem understaffed and not particularly well informed regarding their products. However if you can grab someone they do their best. I usually know what I want when I go there so it is not a problem for me.

Had an unpleasant encounter of a manager scolding an employee who was training someone else. It was very unprofessional and i would never want to see or think thats is how our home depot employees are treated! Truly disappointed on that individual!!!

Service here is pretty hit or miss. Its like they have good intentions, but tend to miss more than hit. Its often hard to find an employee when you need one, and sometimes you get the employee who really doesnt care about his job. But its an entry-level job in a big department store, so what do you expect? But selection is pretty good and prices are pretty good, for Alaska. Overall, Im actually pretty happy to have this store around. I usually come here before Lowes, if only because I like orange better than blue. Is that weird?

They don’t return appliances. Poor customer service. Won’t be making any more large purchases here, while renovating an entire house. Much better businesses in the area that stand behind the products they sell or do what they can to make it right.

Since I started building things I just cant seen to stay away from there. My husband is amazed on how far Ive come in my tools as well as my creations.

Christopher was a big help, we walked in wanting to buy a deep freezer but everyone who had access to the back storage was gone for the day. He apologized and made sure we got it when we came back the next day. He was super friendly! All the associates Ive met there have been nothing but nice. Great store.

The phone system is horrible.I paid for an appliance in March and cant get through the phone system to check on status. I have to physically go in to desk to check and now A m being told mid to late July. Th as tx 5 months waiting but I had to pay up front. Bad policy!!

This is the best Home Depot I ever shopped in. The Alaskan people are by far the nicest people I met in the United States and I lived in a lot of places between East and the West coast including Oahu Hawaii. A special thanks to Corey in the Paint Department. He gets the color right at all times.

Came in looking at toolboxes. Found what I wanted. Asked employee to see if they had the items in stock. He scanned them and said they did, and he or someone else would go retrieve them from where they were stored. Then he walked towards the back. 15 minutes later I started wondering what happened but thought nothing of it. There was an all hands staff meeting that started right around the time he disappeared, but I thought no way. There no way that kid is over there. Hes just busy getting a lift to get the boxes down from a high shelf. He wouldnt be so thick to assume that my time was less valuable than some morning pep talk nonsense. No way. So I waited another 5 minutes, and finally went over to where the employees had gathered for this morning meeting. He was there. I couldnt believe it. I dont blame him, I blame his manager. He probably was on his way to the back and got reeled into this meeting by some overzealous manager. I wasted 20 minutes of an EXTREMELY busy day waiting for their stupid staff meeting. I walked out and went to Lowes. Guess what? I was in and out in 5 minutes.I will never, ever, ever buy anything from home depot again.

Great place for home supplies like laundry detergent, best place for work gloves, cheapest hdmi cables in town, home depot has everything but groceries!

Since there seems to be a high turnover for employees it is hard to find someone that knows where anything is at.

One employee here makes this place 5 stars. Always get helpful polite service from a gentleman there named Sam. Otherwise, just your typical big box home improvement store.

Bought a fridge and paid to have it delivered and installed, picked out the delivery date and everything seemed like it was a go. on date of delivery I had not received any information as to what time it was going to be delivered. called the store and the woman answering the phone apologized, but didnt have a date that the fridge could be delivered, I asked to speak to the manager and was told to call back. called back and got a hold of Micheal.. I spent more time on hold than actually talking to a real life human.. again I wasnt given a date and time when the fridge could be installed... I asked to cancel my order and delivery and was blind transferred to a sale associate with whom I had to start the whole process over with.. I still have to physically go into the store to finish this transaction.Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

I went there for lumber and they sent me to an actual lumber store because they couldnt cut the limber to the size I wanted.

I had one thing so I went to customer service counter no one was in line and I stood there while the 3 women were huddled together talking and I waited and waited and another employee that was walking by said the womans name I cant remember it and she checked me out kindly. But regardless on how nice she was she didnt apologize and I was kinda irritated. Other than that I like home depot just fine.

WTF How did I walk through this store 3 times and wait for 3 different reps and never get help not once. Not even a nod of the head like my existence was noticed. Your not even that busy guys. It’s the middle of the week. I just don’t believe that all of you avoiding customer eye contact so you don’t have to help someone. Is this what management is training. Just keep your head down and try to avoid talking to as many customers as possible. You should be embarrassed 😩. I’m at Lowe’s if you need me.

The place is decent although workers dont really question often with others, though with me, its when you need them they dont, when I didnt need workers helping me they question me, when I do they are no where to be seen. Organized. although there are always boards and wood bent up and not straight that they just throw and say Its alright also, spent forever once trying to find some hot glue gun sticks and they said it was in one isle when it wasnt even there, it was in another isle, 3 isles away from where the man said it was. So they dont give the best advise with my expiriences

We do most of our home projects needs at this establishment. Its always well stocked, and well organized. The associates working here are always very helpful, and friendly. The whole store is clean, and aislways wide enough to get your building materials to the registers and out the doors.

Home depot has the best selection of tools in town as far as the box stores go. The fact that you can get tools from the big three brands (Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt) is a huge draw, which Lowes cant compete with. That being said, you cant order online to the store. If you want to get anything ordered, you have to physically do it at the store, which can be a pain. Also, Home Depot is much more likely to close aisles as theyre sending lifts around the store, which can be extremely inconvenient to wait 15+ minutes to get something when an area is closed.

The gentleman at the Tool Rental is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Terrible customer service in the tool rental department. Told them exactly what I wanted and he refused to rent it to me. Tried to convince me to get multiple, bigger and more expensive rentals than what I stated I wanted. Ended up leaving empty handed.
