Dont go here for passport photos. The photos this store takes are not up to standard and will not be approved by the government. Its annoying that they take passport photos at all since they are not up to passport standards. I dont seem to be the only one with problems either. One of the employees said that they have had many complaints.

Yesterday I dropped off 2 boxes for return to Amazon at 11:51am. Only one was scanned and when I realized it at 5:45pm I called the store and got the answering machine, so I drove down there hoping that the second box was still there and could get scanned in. They closed early due to technical issues (I see other posts complaining of this). I left 3 phone messages and, with no call back, at noon today I decided Id better drive down there again. The clerk working today called the other clerk (P) who helped me the day before, but P did not remember the transaction. There was another upset customer who was trying to find his antique fishing pole at the same time I dropped my two packages off, and was given the wrong receipt by the same clerk who neglected to scan both packages. She was pleasant to me, but did some eye rolls over the fishing pole issue, was pretty rude to her coworker, and seems to be sloppy with her work. This is the first time Ive had an issue at this store, but only gave it one star in the hopes that whoever manages that location does something about this clerk.

Dropped off two packages to be shipped 2nd day on the 14th, they did not ship the packages until the the 19th. These were tools that were needed on a job site somewhere else. Because they were not delivered on time a second set had to be purchased.I asked for my 540 dollars in shipping charges to be refunded. The store directed me to contract the 1-800-UPS what ever the number is. 1-800-UPS says well thats a store problem, youre going to have to contact the store.Gave the store a call back and they say they are going to have to call me back in a couple days.

They close at 5 yet stop services when they feel like it. Got there at 4:30 to be told services end at 4:30 when they close at 5. Find employees who actually want to work!

Ive literally (yes, I mean literally) NEVER been in and out of a UPS as quickly as I was this last time. Granted I had prepaid return shipping, but I was in this UPS store less than five minutes and the clerk that helped me was incredibly sweet and helpful. Ive been to this location several times and am honestly not sure why it has such low reviews, because Ive never had subpar service here.

Customer service has been terrible for the past two to three years, WELL before the Covid Crisis started. I have been a customer for ten years, the annual fees have gone up every year for the past 6 years. This store is consistently understaffed to the point where the employees cannot accomplish all of their tasks in one shift, and refuse to do anything that seems like it might take any extra effort or time. I have experienced, on no less than two dozen times, the employee refusing to give me a delivered package because they Just dont have time to sort through all the packages and find yours -- EVEN though I can SEE my package with my name on the box from across the counter and pointed it out to them, they still refuse to give it to me, rudely telling me to come back tomorrow. Not only has this happened to me, but I have seen it happen to others while in the store on many occasions. I recently witnessed the employee arguing with a customer and refusing to give them their package (which was visible) for a longer amount of time than it would have taken the employee to get the package, scan it with their hand tool to check it in and hand it to the customer! This is completely unacceptable customer service. I will NOT be renewing my box next year, and I will NOT recommend anyone consider using this store until management decides to stop pocketing their members annual fees and hire more employees to get the job done. How does it make sense that the annual fees have tripled over the past 6 years, but somehow they have usually only one person working at a time, and that after I get delivery notifications on my packages, I have to wait two days for them to even consider letting me have it?

Ive used this UPS store several times to ship gifts to relatives in NY, TX and CA, and also to return items to vendors. Every transaction has been handled professionally and each arrived in the time described at shipping with no damage and no losses. One clerk suggested a cheaper way of packaging an item, and did it for me! This never happens at the USPS... Great job!

Fast and friendly service. My item was larger than a standard box would fit and N custom built a box for me to ship the item in. Great sense of humor from the staff. I would recommend and will return when I have other items to ship.

Unless you wanna spend $$$$ for overnight shipping so it can get there in a week and watch them dodge responsibility which corporate won’t take cause the are a franchise I’d suggest sending it by snail it will get there faster and you won’t have to wait over a week for you money back, though if your shipping perishable things you won’t get that returned to you so you will be out of luck

Short girl is rude, definitely needs some customer service training. The other UPS store in Fairbanks is always smiling & helpful, always deserves 5 stars. This location is a disappointment, the employees are definitely sub-par.

This store and its owners are crooks. I sent a Tiffanys bracelet through them and the UPS company lost it . Filed my claim to get my money back. Proof of purchase all the bells to file a claim. Was told it was approved and closed. Corporate states the store it was shipped from pays for it. The bracelet was a $400 item. They gave me a check for 113 bucks. Took them almost 2 months just to get me that. So if you ship through them you better know the rules better then them. Or they will just lie and come up with some excuse not to pay you.

I have had nothing but the worst experience ever dealing with this store. I paid to ship two packages with them I was told about a guaranteed shipment date and if it wasnt guaranteed that I would get my shipping money back. I put insurance on both packages one package showed up on time the other did not the one that did not show up on time came extremely damaged and when I went to go do an insurance claim on it they said because they didnt package it they wouldnt honor the insurance. I didnt ask for my rent money back for shipping since I didnt get there on time and Ive been on a two month long run around with the store manager at Naomi who refuses to call me back or give me any good information. All I want is my money back I dont understand how hard it is for a corporate company just to refund the money that you put down on your credit card but no I have to wait for a check to months later. Horrible communication, horrible service,horrible everything dont use them!

My experience here was not the best. While they did help me with everything I needed to get done, theyre a bit lacking in the customer service department. The two girls both seemed like they had better things to do and werent very friendly.

My experience is horrible!!! I am remote, tok ak remote.. but they said Fairbanks is a remote destenation and deliveries arent made daily.. well, ya know UPS make at least one route to tok at leasr 2 times a week.. monday ans Friday.. part of this problem is on Amazon.. why do they insist in using UPS??!!! It is unreliable Amazon!!!! My package flies 3000 miles in one day!!! But cant go 205 miles more?!! I dont reccommend UPS if ur remote.. ups in ak is especially unreliable.. even in places like Anchorage.. I HATE THE UPS !!!!!
