I recommend you choose Gigi because she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and it was my first time getting a Brazilian. She’s great to have conversations with because she really took my mind off the whole process. She did an amazing job and got everything EVERYTHING.

Everytime I have gone to the Main Street location the service has been excellent! From the time I get checked in to when I walk out everyone is so nice and helpful. They do such a great job waxing! I have been to other locations and they are my favorite. Highly recommend them especially if you are new! I have been coming for years and love it!

Angela did an amazing job, super professional very experienced. I had lip and leg waxing was delighted with the outcome. Will return for additional services. BTW if you are still waxing with the soft wax you really need to try the hard wax like they use here there is a HUGE difference in a great way.

I came in so my first time today. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. Coming in it was a very welcoming atmosphere which instantly calmed my nerves (I haven’t had a wax in a while). The receptionist and the store manager got me situated quickly and continued to help me feel comfortable. I had my wax with Jasmine who was really nice, quick, and efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes which was great but also didn’t feel rushed. I felt well taken care of by all the staff. I will definitely be back for future appointments. I’m very impressed with the way everything was conducted from beginning to end. Good management and the best wax experience I’ve ever had. Really happy I decided to try them out

A friend from college recommended me to this specific location and I’ve been going ever since. Kelly N is my wax specialist and I absolutely adore her. She keeps it professional, does a great job, and makes it as comfortable as a Brazilian can get. Very friendly and keeps your mind off the pain with good conversation. Every person I’ve ever interacted with at the front desk or over the phone has always been professional and friendly. Specifically Isabel. She lets you know about the deals going on, an honest review on the products she’s tested, and fixes any errors or situations that may happen. They’re good about giving samples if you ever want to try any of their products. Customer service here is just outstanding. If they were to ever make a mistake (which is very rare) they’re first to catch it, apologize, and will make it right for you.

Came here on a Wednesday for 2 services had to wait over 20 mins outside in the heat because they were delayed. Wasn’t able to get my second service done so rescheduled for Sunday. Showed up to the door at my appointment at 3:07 waited to check in was told I’m late can’t service me. Policy is 9 mins showed the lady my digital watch which is gps time synced that I’m here at 3:07 but nope there computers are set to 3 minutes ahead of time. Manager was rude and unprofessional will not be returning to this location.

This is my favorite location and the only one I will go to. Kelli the manager and all the ladies at the front desk are always very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Kelly for my waxing for a few years and she is the best. I will not go to anyone else. She is fast, chats with you the entire time and does a full through job. I have tried another EWC and didn’t have the same experience as I do at this location. Thank you for always proving a great experience EWC in Fair City Mall!!!

The atmosphere is very European and down-to-business and they did a very good job. However, the wax was a bit harsh (though no burns). I have sensitive skin and my eyebrows were sensitive for days. However, for the price and efficiency of service - I did buy a package deal.

Horrible customer service and I will elaborate. On not only 1 but 2 separate occasions were my appointments messed up and instead of apologizing to me for mixing up the times they looked at me like I was the crazy one. After the second mishap I decided to not go to the one located at 9554 main street, Fairfax, va. 22031 anymore. I have not been back to that one since. Now the owner is responding to my review telling me that Ive never been to that location 🤷‍♀️. I have since then stopped going to EWC and found a woman that does sugar waxing.

The next day as I was exploring the town I came across EWC on Main St. that was so close to my home, I walked in and was greeted with a smile. I asked the receptionist if I can change my schedule to this location which is sooo much closer to my home and right away I was able to get the same day schedule!! I was amazed and my wax specialist is so professional. I will be making my appointment there for now on.

Let’s start with the pros:EXCELLENT service. They are great at what they do. At this particular location I’ve had two appointments and I’ve scheduled a third because the reception staff is friendly and my esthetician does a thorough, non-awkward wax (I personally get Brazilians)Availability: super easy scheduling here. I’ve even been able to make a same-day time change due to an unexpected meeting.Cleanliness: very clean. Including the bathrooms.Cons:I have two complaints.First: wait time. I usually schedule to have a wax during my lunch break. I’ll usually arrive 5 minutes early, and even though no one is waiting in the wait area I usually have to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seen. I haven’t experienced this at other EWC locations. It really wouldn’t bother me except I have strict time limits for my lunch break. Like I said, I love the service so for me I can deal with some waiting. It would be great if they could shape this up a bit though.Second: (and this is so trivial) it would be nice if there were wet wipes in the bathroom. I bring my own now that I know they don’t have them. It’s just a nice, thoughtful touch that I’m sure both clients and estheticians could appreciate.

I just relocated back to NoVA from Florida, where I had the best aesthetician at EWC in Dr. Phillips (Orlando). I went in to get a Brazilian, nostril, and brow wax yesterday, and when I left I definitely didn’t “strut out”. During my nostril wax, after 3 tries on each nostril, I was given a mirror to check. I still had a good amount of debris along the base of my left nostril, which was immediately noticeable. When I pointed this out to the aesthetician, she said “Oh, you wanted it ALL gone?” I was a little shocked to be asked that question, because who comes for a partial nostril wax? She made one last attempt at my left nostril, and still didn’t get everything (mind you, I’m not an incredibly hairy person to begin with). Instead, my left nostril is now raw because of so many attempts, and still has some hair. My Brazilian and brows were also less than strut worthy, leaving me to tweeze both regions myself upon coming home. For the amount of money and time people spend waxing, more care should be taken to do a thorough job so people aren’t left to go home and do the rest themselves. I gave two stars because it wasn’t the worst wax I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely not what I’m used to receiving at EWC.

All the girls Ive had my appointments with are great including with Danielle. She has great customer skills and knows what she is doing which is why I dont hesitate to come back.

If I could give it zero stars I would. There turnover rate of employees is ridiculously high. So just when you find someone you like and understands your needs they quit.I have horrible time booking my service. Its nothing but a run around with how long each service takes, etc..find a slot and book it. I dont need to know the ins and outs of your job. Today was 2nd time they had moved my appointment to another day, dropped off my 2nd service and was booked with totally different person. The receptionist I spoke to was the same one who booked me last week. She had no explanation.I have been a client of European Wax for many years. I never had any of these issues at the Charlotte, NC store I always went to.I called another location in VA and it took less than 5 minutes to book my 2 services. She gave me 2 appt time options and it was taken care of. Goodbye Fairfax!

Awful, awful, awful!!!! - Customer Service. They Do Not Honor their word and tell you lie after lie just to get you in their salon. Their technicians need to be retrained. They just do not know the meaning of Efficiency of service. I wouldnt recommend this salon or any of their sisters.
