Took my Mercedes E class to get new tires for the first time and, although the Bridgestone Turanza tires are great, Tires Plus damaged all four of the rims!Obviously I was upset so I called and they told me the manager was on vacation and would call as soon as he got back. Several more calls from me and still no call back from the manager.If you are looking for tires at a decent price and don’t care if they take care of your car, this is your place. BUT, if you want customer service that protects your auto investment, you should probably go somewhere else.

Third time replacing tires here in the last 10 years or so. All the three times I got a quote online on tiresplus.com and they stick to the quote not just upto the dollar but upto the cent. They havent attempted to sneak in services or add an additional cent even once. Show me any other service center in the DC metro area that does this. Edwin and Daniel are absolute professionals. They gave their advice and recommendations but not even once pushed for doing any service rightaway. I see Edwin being praised in other reviews as well - not a surprise. Looks like they are building a good culture. Management/Owners please encourage such professionals. In the long term, such professionals will create perennial repeat business for you.

Service was fine. No issues except that it took longer than expected. I had an appointment to get two new tires. It took an hour and a half, plus another 20-30 min for an alignment.The price was good and no issues with the tires or mounting.

If I could leave no stars I would! If you are planning on going here make sure you call first to make sure CHRIS is not working! He is a scammer. The other employee there is so much better. I wish I would have gotten his name but avoid Chris at all cost.

Tires Plus is open on Sunday, which was a plus for me. Edwin was very helpful with my tire services. I was in and out in an hour. He also was gracious enough to give me an additional discount for spending $200. I highly recommend them.

First off, need to thank our advisor, Edwin, which was the one we (my husband and i) had been talking to about the tires for my husbands car. It is snowing and its the first snow storm of the season and Edwin was very professional and helpful. Also need to thank our technician, David.I must say that these two men made us feel more safe in our car!!!! It took roughly a couple hours to get new tires put on and an alignment done. Which we were okay with since we needed to go to target anyway. Which it all worked put perfectly. Very satisfied with the customer service factor!!!These two men should get recognized since they were the only ones there and its snowing.

Great customer service and information! This place has had some bad reviews over the years, but I have used them 4 times over the past 2 years for tires, alignment, tire patching and TPMS replacement and they have been nothing but professional and helpful. Can’t speak to their other services, but for tires I would go no where else!

Look, I have never bought all four set of tires from this place, but my parents like it, and theyre pretty good judge of the mentality of the merchants. The first time Ive needed some tires, and went to this place. Ive asked for the least expensive ones, and I got some pretty decent Firestone tires for less than $90 each. That was much better than some other places would have done me. Anyway, like the other posting says, theyre under the new management, give them another chance.

I had tires installed here last year that I bought online. It seemed to go smoothly. Today, I brought my car in because I have a slow leak in one of the tires and asked them to patch it. I was very clear in my intentions, letting them know that if the tire was not patchable, I would buy a replacement tire online because I had a replacement warranty, and then bring it back to the store to have it installed. Chris, the owner, acknowledged he understood this and said nothing more. When I returned a short time later, he informed me that the tire could not be patched. I told him ok, I will return with the new tire for them to put on. He said ok, I still have to charge you for today. I was very surprised and asked him why he did not let me know when I told him my intentions that I would still incur a charge. He told me I should have known that when I bring a car to a shop that it will cost me something. I then asked if he could apply the amount I paid today toward the installation when I brought it back. He said sorry, two separate charges.I will never step foot in this place again. Regardless of whether him charging me was justified or not, he was deceptive and not straightforward with me. To add salt to the wound, when I took it to another tire place, they informed me that THE TIRE WAS PATCHABLE! Unbelievable. Stay far away. Take a look at other reviews below. Most of the negative reviews have something to do with dishonesty and not being upfront with customers. Seems like a common theme....

DISHONEST SCAMMERS - DO NOT COME HERE.I had a tire that needed a simple patch so I brought my car here. After waiting more than an hour they try to tell me that the damage was in a place that they cant repair. The guy at the front desk immediately pulls up options to purchase new tires. Thinking that something wasnt right, I told them to put the tires back on my car and that Ill hold off on replacements.I took my car to another place, and they had absolutely no problem repairing the tires and they couldnt understand why this place couldnt repair them.No one should come to this kind of place if theyre going to use dishonest practices and straight up lie to your face just to get a few extra bucks. Seems like Im not the only one whos fallen victim to this so they need to stop taking advantage of people before doing business in any sort.

I went down to the Merrifield store last night to replace all 4 tires. They had 3 additional pieces added to my invoice and the sales guy wanted me to sign it without any explanations; 1. Lifetime alignment 2. Lifetime new tire wheel balance 3. Lifetime road hazard coverage. Total additional charge of $300+ on top of the usual tire and installation costs. When I asked him what the other charges are for? the guy who looked like a owner/Manager started arguing with me and my girl friend and kept saying Were looking out for you ... .. sure, he was looking our for my wallet alright. They explained the wheel balance and when I asked them to remove road hazard coverage, he kept arguing to keep it on. I feel like I should have refused the life time service crap. I dont trust these guys.We recommend anyone going down here to stay away from their high pressure

I went to have them look at a flat I had, a man standing at the front desk, who seemed to be the manager, told me they are too busy to do flats. So i took my car to Costco and found out its best to replace all four. Great job Mr. front desk, your sales skills and customer service are impeccable.

Took my daughters Lexus in for 4 tires. When we got it back the tire info was not available on the display. Took it back and these jerks said they couldn’t find anything wrong. Just took the car in for service and discovered they had broken one of the sensors and replaced it with an aftermarket part that isn’t compatible. I’ll never buy another tire form these liars again. You shouldn’t either.

I’ve been sitting here for an hour so far waiting on a battery to get changed. There was one other person here when I got here. Unacceptable. It takes about 5 minutes to change a battery. I’d expect about half an hour but this is absurd.*update. Car was finished. Nobody told me. Guy at the counter was busy playing on his phone instead of doing the paperwork so I could leave. Now their incompetence is wasting my time. Completely unacceptable.

Went in for front brake pads and rotors. Service was friendly, quick, and a pretty good price. When I was ready to pay, they told me that I also needed rear pads and rotors. Since I just had my rear pads replaced three months prior I told them this wasnt right and asked to speak with the mechanic. The manager led me to a 17 year old kid who wouldnt look me in the eye and kept looking at his boss as he explained that the corrosion on my rotors had worn down my pads. I didnt believe him so I just paid for the fronts and went down the street to another mechanic who confirmed that my rear pads looked brand new and my rotors were fine. This was the most blatant scam that an auto shop ever tried to pull on me.

This place is horrible.. the manager talked down to me and treated me like I had no clue about my vehicle. Called to let me know my tires were in requested to come in at 5, arrived no appointment made. Ive been here an hour and a half my tires still are not on and the reason was some stupid reason they were having trouble putting my tires on and that it was a new guy... are you kidding me.. stay away.. Ive been here in the past no problem.. clearly management has changed drastically

Only leaving the star so i can share my experience with you. Thay deserve negative stars.Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I dropped my car off at 4:50. I had a scheduled appointment time for 5:00 pm to get my front 2 tires changed. When I arrived the front desk gentleman informed they were a little behind schedule and asked me if I could leave my car instead of waiting. I understood and left my car. They were not ready for a scheduled appointment....bad customer service. This is where is gets really horrible. The front desk guy calls me at exactly 6:50. He tells me my car is ready and I can come pick it up. I told him it would take me about 20 minutes to get there. He told me that I needed to come now because the shops closes at 7:00 and he needs to pick up his kids. Considering the fact that my quick mode of transportation i.e my car was there how was I suppose to get there now? I requested Lyft and Uber and both would have taken over 20 minutes to pick me up. So guess what I had to do guys?? I ran.... I ran 2 miles to go pick up my car because the manager calls me 10 minutes before the shop closes and doesnt have the customer service, respect, or common courtesy to give me a decent amount of time to arrive. The manager was not there when i arrived. I wanted to speak with him about his customer service.I will never visit this place again. Not to mention they overcharged me the price I was quoted by tire buyer.

Very poor experience. I took my car for a tires check and the guy that fixed my car forgot to put the tire lock nod back in my car. A week later same tire got flat 30 miles away from the Tire plus and my wife took the car to another tire plus in Lahnam MD. Sure enough she called me saying that they couldnt fix the tire because the tire lock nod wasnt there. Had to tell them to brake it and get it out. 3 weeks later finally had time to go and pick up my tire lock nod and guess what, the manager told me they lost it and they would called me when they find it. Too bad that day i had an appointment at Walmart in Springfield to get the 4 tires change. Of course they didnt have the tool to get the tires off and had to go back to Fairfax and pick up the tire lock nod (that finally and magically was found) I asked to get a discount on something for their negligence, but i actually got blamed from the manager because i didnt go there earlier to pick up my part. Absolutely poor and shiity customer service. Never again.

Girlfriend took car in for tire replacement, which they did fine, no problem. However, when she went in to pick up the car they said her battery was bad and that they had to jump the car to drive it into the service bay. I had personally driven the car many times leading up to the appointment, and had started it in the dead of winter after sitting unused over a weekend, with NO issues whatsoever. I told her to decline the request for a new battery, and we continued to use the car for months on the bad battery without the slightest of issues. If going here be wary of being scared or otherwise coerced into extras.

There was a miscommunication on what tires I wanted and they put on the wrong size. They immediately put on more expensive tires for a lower rate and had excellent customer service the entire time. Im a weekend mechanic and only take me truck in for tires. These guys are the real deal.

I called this morning to make an oil change appointment and the person told me it would take less than 30 minutes. The appointment was confirmed to be at 11am.When I reach the store at 11am, the store manager was at the front desk. I told him I have an appointment for oil change and showed him an online promotion coupon. He said I will have to wait 3.5 hours before they can service my car. I re-assured that I have an appointment at 11am. He replied you can wait or you can go somewhere else! So, I asked if I can leave my car here for the oil change, and I go next door to do some shopping and come back. He insists that I have to stay there with the car for 3.5 hours until the oil change is done!I said I really like to have the oil change done. I understand if you guys are busy. I can pay first and leave the car and key and come back as soon as you call me. He replied, it is store policy, you have to wait here in person. So, I walked away. while I was in parking lot, a mechanic came forward and ask if I was waiting for my car. I said no, the store manager told me I have to wait 3.5hours for oil chhange. I asked if the mechanic was busy, he said no. I asked why I need to wait 3.5 hours? he said probably the manager does not want to honor the coupon I presented. At least he was free to stand there and chit chat with me. I dont see why I need to wait for 3.5 hours. I am glad to see all these 1-star, 2-star review. at least I am not the only one who complain... lol. Sorry tires plus, you will not make a cent of business with me today or in the future.

Awful. Got 4 new Firestone tires from this place less than 5 months ago. Two of the tires have already had issues -- one was a broken stem that was a manufacturing defect (that, initially, a Firestone shop employee told me wasnt covered by warranty), the other was now a leak around the TPMS sensor. The guy today at Tires Plus explained that the leak was a manufacturing issue with my car and not anything to do with the tire installation or product quality, therefore wouldnt actually be covered under warranty. Oh, and the indicator on my dashboard still says the tire is flat, likely thanks to the shops inability to reconnect the TPMS sensor once the defective leak was repaired. This is the third set of tires Ive had on this car and have never had these issues with the sensor system, so no, I dont think its my cars fault. It took nearly 2 hours for that service today -- and I had an appointment.

I took my 2005 Honda Civic Si in for a wheel alignment. They said that the right side suspension was loose and wouldnt work on the car because it was an aftermarket part. Its aftermarket because the car is 11 years old and made in Swinden, England and you cant buy the original oem shocks. Wouldnt even look to tell me what the problem is. Well I did take a look and its wasnt the new coilovers that was installed. Its the the inner tie rod and lower ball joint that are worn, which arent aftermarket.So my complaint is know your trade, if you dont know enough about cars, why have a shop. If you cant figure out what component is bad, than you should hire better mechanics. Just saying its aftermarket coilovers, and you cant troubleshoot the problem is a lame excuse. I use to take my cars to this shop very frequently. However lately there quality of service has gone down.

Please avoid going to this place. Ripoff!!! dishonest in what they say.... went with a coupon for $99.00 but they gave me a quote for $999.00. I refused to do the service, guys got upset and messed up my battery and did not even want to jump start my car. I had to call a tow truck to jump start my car.I barely managed to escape from them before they ripped off my money! I will never recommend this place even to my enemy.
