I was able to find the car I was looking for at this dealership. Pauline and mike were very helpful throughout the entire process. There were minor things they needed to take care of after the purchase and they kept their promise and were just as helpful after the purchase as they were before. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

This was a much, much better experience than buying from a major dealer. The staff are very welcoming and appreciative. There was no pressure and we were able to work out a good deal. The car exceeded our expectations. If they have the model you are looking for, they are absolutely worth considering.
I would give zero stars if I could. I totaled my car in an accident a week ago, and it was a very traumatic experience for me in many ways. I called Fairfax Motors after seeing a listing on a third party website. I spoke with a lady named Pauline, who seemed very nice and professional at the time. After explaining my situation--that I lived in NY and would be traveling to VA on Friday to test drive and possibly purchase the car--she ensured me that she would let me know if anyone else became seriously interested in the vehicle I had contacted her about. She even texted me to follow up on our conversation and said that I could text her anytime if I had any questions. Keep in mind that I called around noon on Saturday, so the dealer closed that day approximately 5 hours after my phone call with Pauline. They are closed Sunday. However, on Sunday, the car was sold. I called to ask if maybe they had removed the listing to hold the car for me, even though that didnt quite make sense because holds are usually $500 and are non-refundable (hence the reason I couldnt afford to hold it untI could look at it and asked her to let me know if anyone else expressed a serious interest in the car). However, they informed me that the car was indeed sold. Pauline texted me an entire week later and told me that she was sorry but the car was sold and I could look look their other cars. By this point, I had already purchased a car from another dealer, SuperMax Autos, who were HONEST, FAIR, and INCREDIBLY KIND... unlike Pauline and Fairfax Motors. I would not recommend doing business with a dealer who is willing to lie to inquiring customers. I am not even sure that they even still had the car when I called, even though Pauline said she walked out to the car and checked it for the smell of smoke and the presence of rust per my request. I find it very difficult to believe that they just so happened to suddenly sell a car they had for apparently months in the 5 hours after I called. Something is fishy about this place. And even if they did happen to coincidentally sell it... they did not keep their word to notify me if anyone else became interested in the car. I am not upset about the car... I found a better one elsewhere. I am upset about the deception I was subject to.
I purchased my second car from Fairfax Motors today. First car was purchased there about 13 years ago and was a positive experience (and the 2007 Audi has now been passed down to my oldest son). My experience this week was even better, despite the restrictions posed by COVID. Pauline and Mike were great to my wife and I. After a test drive three days ago, we were interested in the car, but rust had recently formed on the rotors and brakes were noisy with a slight shimmy. Without me asking, Mike offered to change all rotors and brake pads without increasing the price, so I took him up on it. Todays test drive was smooth so it was easy to pull the trigger and buy the 2011 Camry for my youngest son. Enjoyed every moment talking with Pauline during test drives and at her desk. Mike honored everything he verbally committed to and made the paperwork go by quickly. Car buying isnt necessarily something I think of as fun, but Pauline and Mike made this a very quick, painless, and enjoyable process. Ill go back to them the next time my middle sons car becomes too expensive to maintain!

It was finally time to get the Corvette I had always wanted. After a lengthy search, I found a showroom condition Vette at Fairfax Motors. The car had all the features I wanted and based on my lengthy search, I knew the price was fair. My sales representative, Pauline, was professional, responsive, and created an incredibly positive shopping and buying experience.
I purchased a vehicle and paid in cash and in full. I completed all required tasks and was then informed of a decrease in the trade in offer after all paperwork was signed. Well ok. Nothing to do about that now but wait over 2 weeks for a check. May I please have my money??

1. Sales person was very friendly2. Drove over the standard 3 / 4 road humps and the U-turn on Braddock like everyone here has stated.3. Car seemed good. Carfax showed it was good car. I was a Cash buyer - Sale closed and out of the dealership in 2 hours.4. After we drove off the lot, found the rear doors would unlock and lock every time the car crossed the 9mph speed mark. This was a safety issue.5. Car would not lock when parked.6. On initial look, car looked clean. We removed the seat covers, lifted the seats and found dirt, grime, caked good, human hair and dog hair. There was also a lot of sand in car. Perhaps because both previous owners lived near the beach? As gross as it was, we cleaned it all out.After 3 days:Took it to Honda Service to get a standard multipoint Honda safety inspection because when I found out the car would not lock, and it kept locking and unlocking when driving, I wanted to make sure there was no other problem with the car.Pulled up the Honda Service history.Compared it with the Carfax history.1. Power steering fluid flush was needed.2. Mold and mildew in the AC3. Both rear door actuators needed to be replaced4. A few other repairs and maintenances that were due needed to be done.Total bill for all the pending maintenances and repairs - $2500.The good news is, the Honda technician told us the car looked like it was well maintained and did not see any other major issues. I knew I was buying a used car and I did expect to spend an additional $1500 to get it safe and road-worthy.Its a used car and I understand that but I wish they had cleaned the car and done some basic service before they sold it to me - which is what one expects when buying from a dealership rather than on Craigslist.Overall, I would say I am happy with the purchase.

Super disappointed. Saw they had the color and model car I researched and decided on. We were willing to drive almost 3 hrs to get there and look at it arriving 40 min before their close time.When we called they were reluctant to show it and said we wouldn’t have time to test drive it or fill out paperwork.Too bad as we had test drove the car at other dealerships that had differing colors. We were ready to purchase the white model upon viewing. UPDATE: two weeks later we purchased the same model car at another dealer who was awesome! Completely disgusted with my overall experience with Min. I called a day before about a vehicle told me they were only taking appointments so I make a appointment for the following day. Min texts me to make sure I’m still coming for my appointment not to mention my drive was 3 hours long only for him to text me 30 minutes before I get there to tell me sorry the vehicle has been sold. When during our text conversation he told me I was the first appointment of the day to come look at the car. If they were letting people come with no appointment I could’ve made the trip up the day I called and possibly got the car I was looking at. Not to mention they did nothing to try and correct the situation once I arrived.

How deceptive is this Fairfax Motors?, on the main website for About us - all 3 of the reviews came from STILL “ Active Employees “ that are listed as sales agents on the VA Dealer Board.I did some more digging on court records in Virginia and saw this dealer has about as many lawsuits as one can expect from an UNLICENSED Pharmaceutical company.I have take screen shots of all the reviews of the salespeople, Bonnie, Kim, and so on and will be reporting this to the Dealer Board, Wanada, and local consumer affairs agencies.I did my due diligence after a recent visit to this dealership and upon opening the truck found all the broken and wreaked parts from the accident in the was in and Fairfax Motors has obviously repaired without notice.The damage had to be sever as the parts alone looked to have lost at $10,000 and were mangled and rusted, I’m glad they were still in the trunk so we didn’t buy a dangerous car.Fairfax Motors, engines go in the front of cars not in the Trunk!

They pulled the car I wanted to see right around, everything checked out and the car was very clean. My mom ended up buying it and has had 30,000 trouble-free miles! Originally found Fairfax Motors through the USAA car buying service; Min (salesman) was very responsive in answering questions before I was actually able to visit. The car I originally wanted to look at wasnt there when I came through, but the dealership had a wide selection of good quality cars and I ended up with a similar model for around the same price. Min and the rest of the staff made the buying process very easy and have followed up since the purchase to make sure everything is working out well with the car.After visiting a few other dealerships in the area that gave off some very shady vibes, talking to everyone at Fairfax Motors was a welcome change.

Sales associate provided excellent and timely service. I would have rated the dealership 5 stars except the car had to be shipped out of state and the delivery time period from payment to delivery was longer than anticipated. Otherwise, the staff was generally helpful and accomodating.
Best dealer hands down. I purchased a 2016 Land Rover Discovery in June 2020. I also purchased a warranty from an independent company at the dealership. In September 2020 the vehicle began having issues with the heat/A/C and was rejecting fuel. I contacted the warranty company (who has no direct affiliation with Fairfax Motors) about the issues. Without going into lengthy detail, the warranty company denied my repair claim that was estimated over $5600. I contacted John at Fairfax Motors in a complete panic. John personally went to bat for me with the warranty company. After many rounds John contacted me to bring my vehicle back to him. He gave me a loaner for free and personally arranged all of the repairs at his facility. Because of it being a Land Rover the parts are pricy and not easily obtained. I dropped my vehicle off approximately the 3rd week of October and it was finally complete on December 9th due to difficulties obtaining parts. John had my vehicle filled up with gas and washed when I arrived. John went above and beyond for me as a customer even though the repairs were technically not his responsibility. I live 2 1/2 away in WV. I am an RN who is currently working the Covid unit at my hospital. As you can imagine these are trying times for me and that last thing I needed on my plate was a $5600 repair. John even called me on December 10th with a courtesy call to make sure I made it home safely and that the vehicle was working as it should. I can not put in to words the sincere gratitude for John and Fairfax motors for taking such great care of me and my repairs. John did not charge me a dime. I HIGHLY recommend this dealer to everyone. This is what an honest business does for their customers. I will absolutely purchase my next vehicle from John at Fairfax Motors.

I purchased a Acura 2015 ILX 2 weeks ago yesterday, the service in office was good. I took my car for inspection and it failed due to lower arm control problems. I was told that the if the car failed inspection to bring the car back for repairs...Well this is not whats happening no one is returning my calls therfore I will be taking the next step to resolve this problem. I dont think I would recommend Fairfax Motors to my friends for future purchases.

I loved the car I saw online. Unfortunately, I couldnt even consider purchasing it since the only test drive I was allowed to do was go over 3 speed bumps and make a U-turn. Their seller acted incredulous that I would even want a longer test drive than that.Incredibly disappointing experience from a location that had such great reviews.
I bought a 2014 BMW i3 REx from here and it has been nothing but problems the 2 years Ive had it. If I didnt have an extended warranty on it, the total repairs wouldve amassed to $20,000 out-of-pocket. Was I sold a lemon? Im not sure if it qualifies under Virginia law, but it sure seems like it. I have no idea where it went wrong, but my car has so many problems and I keep taking it back to the service center. Every 2-3 months. Fairfax Motors failed to properly diagnose my i3 or failed to disclose any problems it had prior to me purchasing it, or both. A car in almost-new condition should not have these many problems. It is absolutely absurd. I can happily say that Carvana will be taking my car on 6/4/20 and I will finally be free of this sacrilege of a car I received.
I brought a BMW 7 series from Fairfax Motors last week and I have to admit this has been one of the best experiences I have had at a car dealership. I usually change my cars every 4-5 years and have worked with a lot of new and used car dealers in this area - what sets this one apart for me is that they did not apply any pressure on me during the whole process. I worked with the General Manager, John Fleming during a two week period and kept him appraised of all the options at other dealerships that I was looking at. Never once did he put pressure on me to buy from him, nor did he put down any of his competitors to influence my decision. He provided every info I asked for, allowed me to take my time and we agreed on a price that was much better than the other dealerships. After completing my pre-inspection at a BMW dealership, there were some wear and tear findings and he immediately took on himself to fix them without trying to negotiate further. The paperwork was great, the finance guys were very friendly, did not up-sell me on anything (warranties, etc) and I got a much better rate on financing from them than the other banks I had researched. Overall, a great experience and I wish all car dealerships provided this kind of experience. Highly recommend this place.

Just wanted to share my wonderful experience with Fairfax Motors yesterday. I walked in to the dealership with my Dad, already having researched the car I wanted to buy, a 2016 BMW 340i. Faheem, our sales person had an extremely friendly and warm demeanor. He patiently walked us through all the details of our purchase including my test drive, which turned out to be slightly longer than anticipated when I missed an exit on the beltway! His knowledge combined with his personable nature make him a true asset to the company. Later, Marcelo in finance, also very friendly and warm, helped us set up my payment plan in a very efficient and painless process that took just under 40 minutes! Overall a great experience and I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to buy a car!

My husband and I traveled five hours from North Carolina to see a 2016 BMW Z4 that Fairfax Motors had online, and we were not disappointed! The car was even better in person and the staff was pleasant to deal with. We quickly came to an agreement on the price and were able to drive off with our new BMW a short while later. I would definitely make the trip again to buy from Fairfax Motors.

Like anyone going into a car purchase, new or used, I was apprehensive; Am I going to get a good deal?, Will this be a reliable car?, Is the dealer going to try and hide something, just to make the sale?. But I did not experience any of those concerns with Fairfax Motors.After researching for over a month, I found the car, 2012 Toyota Venza, that I wanted to test drive. I was able to get an appointment with Pauline and I was able to get my walk around and test drive. No pressure what so ever. She let me do my walk around checking panel gaps, engine bay, interior, window function, etc. Went on the test drive (nice loop with mix of residential and 4 lane roads) did the normal listen for stuff, make sure the car brakes in a straight line, etc. We proceeded to make a deal (trade my owned outright car and pay cash for the balance of the Venza). They gave me a fair trade offer based off compared to KBB and a couple other value websites and the deal was done in an hour or so. A new happy customer left Fairfax Motors with his new (to him) car.Later that night and the following morning, as I was diving into all the bells and whistles, an issue did arise with the door locks (the one thing I didnt check). After determining that there was indeed a door locking mechanism issue and not a keyless entry issue, I contacted Pauline. She got me down there the next day so Mike could confirm the issue, which he did, I was informed, they would make it right at no cost to me! The car did come with a small power train warranty, but this was not part of that warranty. They were more concerned about selling a car that functioned correctly, then the expense of getting the locks fixed.They were great from start to finish and I would not hesitate to buy another car from Pauline and the team at Fairfax Motors!
I recently brought a Chevrolet from here and I would be lying if I said that my buying experience was anything other than smooth, Faheems professionalism made the buying experience beginner friendly and was not aggressive in anyway. The vehicle was exactly as described and there were no hidden issues. I would recommend Fairfax Motors to anyone looking for a good used car.

Warning!!! When they tell you there is a warranty you better look into it. Yes theres a warranty on it from the original owner not you cost me 2,000 dollars so far and still have problems they are no good if you going to spend the money go to a dealer not a shady place like that

Overall great experience! Shopping for cars is so overwhelming and Faheem had a very relaxed and friendly approach in selling me a car. He kept in personal contact with me throughout the process and made sure that I had a good experience. There were a few things that needed to be done after the purchase to fix up the car and he and Mike were both very helpful in making sure the car was up to my standards. Really appreciated the personal and kind approach in sales at Fairfax Motors.

Unfortunately, I had rather high expectations of this dealership assuming they would be different when I saw the high star rating and their “commitment” to customer service.I initially went in to test drive a CRV and a RAV4. The salesman allowed me to test drive both before turning on the high sales tactics on the significantly more expensive vehicle (RAV4) making it sound like it was merely a grand or two more.After having my heart set on the RAV4, we soon discovered it was $5K more than the CRV AND that their was a cheaper RAV4 available as well. That’s when the whole mood changed and we became a bother rather than respectable customers because we were “wasting time.”Like many of the other one star reviews, I was allowed to go in one lane, up the road for 1 mile and then take a U-turn and come right back - that is definitely not a test drive.After settling for the other less expensive RAV4, another sale tactic was used to where we were left alone just a mull it over and think for about 20 minutes and then urged to get the financing started. When we asked about the final price and negotiation, we got a bit of a cold shoulder and then we were told that the cars are non-negotiable - essentially wasting nearly 3 hours of our time.While this dealership may claim to be different, I wouldn’t bother purchasing a car here. It’s hard selling like a mainstream dealership. Definitely not family friendly or customer centric.

Patrick is a great guy, no pressure salesman. He was always honest and straightforward in my dealings with him. We purchased a slightly used Mercedes E350 4matic. Very clean, like new.
