I loved bubble tea and the ambiance in here is quiet and relaxing. If you’re killing time or just catching up with friends definitely try this place. They have board games for everyone and must try their bubble tea and desert as well. Great customer service.

My family and I always stop by Dessert Story after we leave the Hot Spot. They have great drinks and desserts except I did not enjoy their waffles. They sale macaroons and other smaller desserts that arent as large as the dessert stories. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

This is your typical Korean dessert place with a large selection of teas and coffees. I had the hot taro latte and love it. My husband had a taro smoothie with bubble and enjoyed it. They also have some sweets and you can walk right into the bon chon from the store which I thought was interesting. Over all goid experience.

Many types of tea, coffee, and drinks offered at Dessert Story. The waffles are chewy so they dont dissolve under the fruit/chocolate, syrup, and ice cream. The waffle was just a little too chewy to eat with a plastic fork. I tried the green tea latte and choco waffle, while my friend had the strawberry waffle. The choco waffle is definitely for the chocolate lover, with chocolate drizzle, Nutella, crushed Oreo, and vanilla ice cream on top.

The only reason I stopped by there was because insW it on Instagram and it looked delicious. I happened to be in the area and I was not disappointed. Fast service and the food was delicious. Freshly made waffle was excellent. Perfect blend of flavors..

Very disappointed with the quality of their strawberry sno. Tasted very artificial (the flavor was horrible, one friend said it reminded him of Pepto bismol), the strawberries were NOT freshly cut (looked several days old), and the texture was weirdly pasty. Not sure what the sno was even made of, but it certainly didnt taste like real cream or milk. For being more than $8 I expected much better quality. Never ordering again, especially since there are several Asian dessert places in the area that are superior.Pluses: Service was fast and the hot chocolate was delicious.

The classic waffle was fantastic, melt in your mouth good. The fav boba in my group was the passion fruit smoothie boba

Great cafe to enjoy Asian style desserts and treats! Offer a nice variety of light shaved ice creams to decadent waffles with sweet toppings. Also have an assortment of coffees and bubble teas. Perfect for a middle of the day treat or grabbing a fun dessert after dinner. Try one of the other restaurants near by for dinner and make it a nice evening by ending your night with a treat here!

Stopped by Bonchon next door to pick up some food for a birthday when I realized I hadnt brought a cake. My husband and i ended up buying 2 slices of cake (raspberry cheesecake I think and a lemon cream cake) and a cup of assorted macaroons. They were a lot of fun to share and pretty tasty. Very smart venture.

Super friendly Indian lady accommodated my kids custom drink orders while we played with the shops Jenga and Battleship sets. Recommend.

Dessert Story is located on Old Pickett Rd of city Fairfax. There are a lot of good places for dessert around Fairfax but not unique as this one. Bubble tea and Sno Cream are famous. They play some games with drinks and sweet treats. Good place to enjoy sweets and to play a game.

Felt like ice cream was really low quality and the brownies were hard and may be frozen. They should serve warm brownies with it. Couldn’t find much Nutella in my bowl either

Cute little dessert shop connected to bonchon. I had the matcha ice and it was big enough for 3 of us to share. There isnt much seating so if its busy it can be difficult for a group to get a spot.

This was a convenient place to wait for our Bonchon chicken which takes 30 minutes to cook. We tried the bubble drinks; milk tea and smoothie with jelly and boba. Delicious bubble tea. Good service. Convenient. Ill have to try the sno and waffles next time.

Tried the mango smoothie with bubbles. Smoothie itself was solid but not the best Ive had. The boba, however, were not good at all. Seemed to be old and some were all mushed together. I would recommend not adding anything. 10 percent discount if you shoe your Bonchon receipt.

Tiny place with intimate seating and an interesting selection of Asian sweets. My favorite is Sno, which is a sort of finely shaved ice with many flavor options. I love the mango. They offer bubble tea made to order. Coffee, and sweet treats to make the coffee taste even better. If you have your receipt from eating at bon chon next door, theyll even take 10 percent off your bill!

The shave ice is awesome and delicious! The magpi bubble tea is good too!If you eat at Bon Chon and bring the receipt you can save 10%. 😁

I like this place a lot. They offer a variety of dessert. From cheesecake, to macarons, to bubble tea and bingsu or Sno as they call it (shaved ice dessert with various sweet toppings) I ordered their taro sno which included some chopped almond slivers, tiny mochi, bobba, vanilla ice cream and sweetened condensed milk. It was great way to end a meal. Will definite come back again.

They don’t serve you regular portions after 9:30??? They said they only serve to go after 9:30 so I drove all the way there to pay $12 for half the amount I would normally get....

Your run-of-the-mill Korean-owned bubble tea and bingsu shop. Drinks here are sweeter than most places, and they dont customize on sweetness. The strawberry bingsu is great! If you have a reciept from the neighboring Bonchon from the same day, youll get 10% off your purchase. Not a ton of seats and only two restrooms. There are a few boardgames near the back of the place, which is a nice option for impromptu group activities.

Great atmosphere - its open air connected to Bon Chon and the music and chatter from the restaurant bleeds over in a very pleasing manner. The Coffee Snow/ice is really good - the espresso mixes with the vanilla ice in a delicious way. I like Siroo Story in Annandale a bit more (better texture), but Dessert Story is closer to home and the atmosphere makes it worth coming here.

My go to spot after some good hot pot. Place is conveniently located by Marumen, Hot Spot and Bon Chon.I have ordered some of their bubble tea and Sno Cream like desserts in the past. Every time I come here this place is spotless. If you still have some room in your stomach after dining in the area this is the spot for desserts.
