Everytime I need a truck they make it happen for me store is a bit run down lol but its the truck you need. Pretty straight forward give money.... get truck. Their entrance is a bit rough straight gravel road so careful when leaving car there to get truck. All in all they have always serviced me appropriately and for that 5 stars.

Good quality truck at a reasonable price. I picked up my truck on a Saturday morning, so it was really busy, but the employee efficiently worked through multiple customers and I was on the road in 20 minutes. I’d use them again.

These guys make promises and fail to deliver. We reserved a van on Saturday morning at 8am. It wasnt there. They told us one was coming and itd be available at 9:30am. It wasnt there. They said give them an hour and itll be there at 10:30am. Right. Waste of time. We had to reschedule our moving date.

We reserved a truck for rental. When we arrived, we werent able to get the truck because the previous renter had not paid their bill (apparently, they didnt agree with what they had been charged). We had to sit there for almost an hour listening the manager arguing with the previous customer about this issue. There were no other trucks available and no other companies had a vehicle of the size that we needed.I will not use this location in the futurePoor customer serviceDirty truck.Limited vehicle options

So far, our experiences with Penske have not been great. 1st time in we reserved everything we needed with a set time to pick up the truck & supplies at Home Depot in Saint Augustine FL. When we arrived to pick up the truck, no truck. We had plans of packing the truck most of that afternoon, & the next day. Instead, the truck was delivered to St. Augustine over 4 hrs late. The only concession made by Penske was literally to tell us that we wouldnt have to return the truck till later. That was literally no concession or incentive at all since we were bringing the truck back at the original set time anyway. Now the second experience, which is still in process, we are setting up the same pick up arrangements. Reserved truck & supplies to be picked up at Saint Augustine Home Depot. We were told by Penske that I could go up to the Penske in Fairfax VA (where we return the truck) to prepay since I wont be in FL this time for the trip. I went to the Fairfax site & was told I cant prepay since Home Depot is the pickup point. That I could only prepay if the truck was being picked up at a Penske office, the closest one to Saint Augustine being in Jacksonville. Going to Jacksonville is not an option for us. We were specifically told when reserving the truck, that I could prepay at any Penske office. It seems to me that the individuals who work for Penske are somewhat unaware of company policy. There seems to be a lot of passing the buck, & blame shifting that goes on. Everything that has gone wrong, is always blamed on someone else. I had to do some quick FedExing of funds to cover payment at pickup, & am now waiting to see how the rest of the process goes.

I have rented trucks from this location of all sizes. Every time I’ve had a good vehicle and great service. They are very accommodating and helpful.

If I could make this review negative stars I would. My husband and I showed up at 8am to rent a truck that we had reserved over a month in advance and found that no one was at the property. We waited over an hour hoping that the opening employee was late. He/she never showed. When we called the corporate number we were passed around with no resolution. Not even an apologize for the extreme lack of costumer services or professionalism. I won’t be using Penske ever again. If you’ve got a big move day with a tight schedule and furniture ordered for pick up DO NOT RENT FROM PENSKE!

Easy Quick Affordable

Charged for an extra day. Gas tank was documented as full but was actually a quarter tank down. Refund for the extra day came through as a charge - had to be refunded twice.

Bad experience I purchased a full coverage insurance with the truck rental I had an accident they changed me $9800 for repair they said that the box roof was not covered .
