I gave him a 5 stars only for the work he performed on my Motorhome, good price and friendly service. I just wish he could keep his words and send me the letter to show at the California BAR referee on my appointment today. I just hope he reads this comment and be able to keep his words to the next customer.

Mr. Zang at Palmer Muffler you had 3 spark Plugs done and 3 ignition coils done. 3 spark plugs were $23.19 and the 3 coils were $402.60. Labor was $60.00. Total came to $519.80. That is why we give copy of sales ticket. Please post all facts. Thanks

They did a good and quick job fitting a new muffler with catalytic converter to my old BMW for less than $100. They also repaired a muffler on my RV that had broken hangers. He welded it right back up and cost me less than $50. It is true parts from pretty much any auto shop will be full retail if not more so because profit from parts are a big part of their business.I took my BMW to another shop in town which will remain unnamed and they were going to charge me DOUBLE on labor charges if I brought in my own OEM parts. I have not set foot in that shop since.

Took my car in to have the flex pipe replaced, they ended up changing the resonator without asking me and charged me over 300 dollars. I didnt complain because I didnt specifically tell them to just change the flex pipe. However less than a yr down the road the welds broke on the flex pipe and my car is just as loud as it was before. Deffinatley wont be giving them anymore of my money for poor quailty work.

Have taken my cars here for decades. Always treated promptly and farily. Doing muffler work (ovehead, is the rule) is really hard on the human body... I appreciate how Rick puts his whole effort into this business.

Dont even bother yourself and go there, youre going to pay for each single word comes out of his mouth. I went there to issue a maintenance estimate report and I paid $32.10 for that and end up with an undetailed hand-written report. The parts prices were extremely expensive.Even though he told me he is going to give me my money back ($32.10) if I repaired my car in his store but I issued two well-written, printed, systemized, and accurate estimate reports from two different stores and no one asked for a penny .

I have been taking vehicles there for over 15 years. Always amazed at how fast and detailed they are. Just took 2004 ford F150 4x4 to him, had, broken Exhaust manifold, Broken Studs, major problem with steel bolts and Aluminum heads, also had front 4x4 bearings out . I get my Lexus RX300 change three spark plug, they ask me to pay $519.80. If you search online 6 spark plug about &200, but I only change three, thats means their labor worth about $400. This is ridiculous.

I cant say enough good things about working with Rick at Palmers. He can do anything!
