I dont know much about pawnbrokers or that kind of business but I do take note of people. My husband, little newborn baby and I were in a difficult situation having his wallet stolen across the street and they were very kind and hospitable to us. They went out of their way to look through the video cams and gave us water and a cool place out of the hot sun. It was a great relief in the difficult moment. Great people.

Jack is the best and Cindy, and the staff at New England Pawn are wonderful! I have been borrowing money from them for years and they are like friends. They always give me very fair loans and are so helpful and kind. I would never go anywhere else. If you want the most money for your items and you want a friendly face and top notch service, you have to go to New England Pawn. They’re the best at what they do 100%!

The staff have always been extremely courteous to me and Ive always been treated fairly. I have seen some of the situations they have to deal with. I know it can be hard to stay happy when customer gives the employee attitude because they feel that their item is worth way more than what it is actually worth and a lot of people dont care that the pawn shop has to make money if the customer doesnt return for their product. So I can empathize with them and I try to be pleasant with them and they are always professional. Even with those problem customers. I will always use them when I need to use a pawn shop. Fantastic employees.

More than your typical pawn broker, this is a hidden gem in the city. A family run shop, everyone is welcoming and great to work with. I’ve bought jewelry from there for years, they always have amazing stuff and if you are looking for something special, let them know and they will keep an eye out for you. Plus they can have things sized and repaired as needed.I’ve bought a couple of great quality musical instruments from them and my last two TVs have been from the shop. You can’t beat the prices. I would recommend them above all the other shops in the area. The staff is friendly and down to earth, prices are great, items are good quality and if you are looking for something specific, they can probably help you find it.

I have been doing business with NEPB for many years. They are all kind, supportive and fair. If you forget to pay on the due date, I stop in or call and they are more than willing to help. They are all good people- they will send you a reminder letter if a week has gone by and even then, they still give you a little time where you can either renew or pay it off.

Yesterday I went to New England pawnbrokers at 407 S. Main st in Fall River.I went there to pick out a gold chain for my husband for Christmas. I bought a gold cross there back in June for our 35 th anniversary. At that same time, my husband purchased a beautiful diamond ring for my anniversary gift. I saw another beautiful citrine, and diamonds ring set in beautiful rose gold. Well I purchased that ring as a memorial stone for my beautiful horse Daisey Maude whom I had just had to put to sleep a couple of weeks earlier because she had colic. When Cindy heard why I was purchasing the ring she told me she makes beautiful picture shadow boxes. She asked me to bring in a picture, and anything else that belonged to her that I would like included. So I brought in a picture, and her nameplate that was on her stall, and some of her mane that I had cut off and braided, and put beautiful hair jewelry in the brace. So I went back a week later to pick it up. I was amazed. It was so beautiful and special that it made me cry right in the store! I have priced jewelry from other pawnbrokers, like everyone else does, but I couldn’t beat the prices, or the existence of jewelry that New England pawnbrokers has. I’ve been shopping there for 12-15 yrs, and I don’t even go to other places anymore because Cindy is great, and Jack is the bomb! I’m going back because they have a beautiful bag there that I want. My daughter bought a beautiful coach bag there . It’s in perfect condition. My husband is actually going there for my Christmas gift! Staff is friendly enough, but I brought in a piece of jewelry and dude offered me $30 and said he checked eBay and the same piece was going for $50. Left and checked eBay in the car, cheapest completed auction was close to $300 for a piece in lesser condition. Look i understand youre a pawn shop and need to make money, I won t knock the hustle but dont outright lie to people. Thats not cool. Just say you want to pay $30 because thats all its worth to you.

I have bought many items over the past 4 years from these wonderful people. I have mainly dealt with John and Cindy, but also with others that I am sorry to say I am terrible with names and forget easily. Besides the point here is to review there overall services!! They pay attention to your needs, and at the same time they will not beat around the bush and pull any punches. Meaning, if they can help you they will tell you straight out whether they can or cannot! So dont get upset if they say, Hey Im sorry but I really cant do anything with what you have brought in or I cant help you, but its not really worth that much(you were expecting to get $50 for something that you paid $75 for and you have had it for over a month or even a week! Dont take it personal...you will find out that if you go anywhere you wont get better than these guys! They have the best deals in town and they have lay-a-way too! For the most part, and yes, I have looked! Nobody can beat there prices and if you think you can get better quality,value,and price for what you want, you might get 1 of those but not all 3 qualities. They dont make promises they cant keep! Ive had a couple items break under the default warranty time,they were glad to help fix the problem! No Fuss, No Muss!! From Jewelry, electronics,movies to my summer bright pink bicycle; Theyve been and still will be My Go To Pawn shop. I have even dazzled my way into the hearts of my family members..but Shhhh!! They dont where there Christmas presents came from there because they gift boxed my items! Happy Shopping! A very pleased customer for over 4 years now.
