I had a great experience at Koon’s with Colin. I walked in, no appointment, for a test ride on a few vehicles and walked away with a new Ford Bronco. I’m super happy with the purchase, Colon was extremely knowledgable about the car features I was looking at in the different trim levels and how the different models I was considering compared to each other. I felt a little pressure on the warranty/finance portion of the deal but did not have to push back too hard on that (they are just doing their jobs!) and ultimately walked away with a great car, good financing and I will definitely be back to the dealership for any future needs.

I had an AMAZING experience at Koons, especially with Shuvo. I was initially indecisive but after seeing the Ford Bronco Sport, I made my purchase. The sales team went above and beyond to answer all my questions and provided insightful information about the various car features. Important thing to note was I never felt pressured to purchase – the team was super friendly and allowed me to make the decision to buy on my own. I had my eye on the cactus gray colored Bronco but had to wait a few weeks for it get sent over to this location. Assuming I had to make another visit to pick up my new car, the team assured me someone would drop it off to my home upon arrival. Shuvo did in fact drop off my new purchased car as mentioned with no hassle. Convenient. Smooth process. Trustworthy team members. What more can you ask for? I ultimately walked away with an amazing deal and car- would definitely recommend this dealership for future needs! You can find dealerships anywhere… but working with trustworthy salespeople is rare.

I had the best experience buying my Mustang 2021 with Sean. I walked in with no appointment and wasnt really expecting to purchase the car on the same day, as the whole process is usually very lengthy and takes at least couple days. However, Sean was an absolute delight to work with during the whole process. Very knowledgeable and very genuine towards his job and customers. He kindly helped us with every step of the process and got us the best deal possible in the area. During the test drive he made sure to explain all features thoroughly and gladly answered any questions we had. We were talking numbers and wrapped the deal very late, around 11 PM and he was still there to make sure we had no issues. Great customer service. Thanks a lot Sean!

0 For customer service, 0 for sales team, 0 for pricing. Avoid buying a car here!! After making the sale they will never answer your calls / questions. They have the worst customer service and basic communication skills like transfer you to the parson who can actually help in a proper way. Never got my finance agreement and now I have to keep calling and getting VM. Go somewhere else.

I would give 5 stars if this review were based on the support and efforts of Derrick (salesperson) and Joe (finance) alone, but overall the experience of buying a new vehicle was not as smooth as I would have desired. I witnessed a general lack of operational efficiency, leadership, and customer care.It took around 45 minutes for them to find the keys of the vehicle I was interested in. Then when I wanted to purchase it, I was promised by the manager that it could be done in less than 90 minutes because I had a flight to catch, however, the manager made no effort to help expedite any processes and it took much longer than that, almost making me miss an international flight. They couldnt even get the truck ready in time for me to drive home, even though the manager said they could from the onset (thank you, Derrick, for the ride).They also squeezed me on my trade-in, offering $2,000+ less than the KBB estimated low-range value, knowing I was short on time. Despite having serviced my previous vehicle there (with issues), I was offered no loyalty incentives or anything to retain me as a valued customer.When picking up the vehicle, I noticed a few scratches I hadnt seen the week prior. Management refused to make any effort to fix these, and I was told I was responsible for these scratches as I purchased the vehicle as-is. I dont remember the scratches the week prior, so this was unsettling.I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future (as well as the servicing of my vehicle).

Dont expect to buy the car you want from them even if you started negotiating financial information. I asked a salesman to start financial information and he said he promised it wouldnt be available till Monday 3 days from now. An hour later I call to inquire further and it was sold!!!!! I talked to a manager who said their salesman would say whatever to make a sale. If they would say whatever wouldnt a better thing to say be Better hurry its first come first serve and not wait till Monday?

Nope, nope, nope. I had such a terrible experience here. Im glad other reviews are positive, but mine definitely wont be. I chatted with a sales person a couple of days before my scheduled appointment. Two days before the appointment, they sent me a reminder and the day of the appointment, a manager called me to confirm that I was coming in. Waw I thought- great customer service! Well... I was wrong. I get to the dealership after a very long bus route in the scorching heat only to find the dealership almost empty. I walk in and there was one salesperson who seemed in a hurry until he caught sight of me and hesitated for a while before giving in and assisting me. He took me to his desk, asked me what car I was planning on seeing. I explained that i had an appointment with the manager and so forth. He left me sitting at his desk for 15 minutes before he came back and asked me again which car I was coming in to see. He then left again and came back after a few minutes to tell me that unfortunately the car was in service. I was in shock and disbelief. They called me an hour before I came in confirming that the car was ready and waiting for me and that Im the boss and I can try as many cars as I wanted to. After the salesperson saw I was angry he offered to show me around a few available cars. He was hesitant and didnt have proper information about which cars were available. He seemed so lost. After wasting an hour of my time there, he called in another manager who was in such a cheery mood. He apologized for the missing car but then clarified that they actually had NO cars that could fit my needs. Nothing- NADA. After securing an appointment based on specific needs and confirming the appointment, and wasting my morning, turns out... they had no cars to show me at all. Waste of time, terrible customer service. I will not be visiting this dealership again.

Was interested in a vehicle that they had for sale, and was paying with cash and a check from my local credit union. They refused to work with a sale unless I did a credit application with them, citing their policy that all vehicle sales must have a credit application.This is NOT a Patriot act requirement, as they tried to say was federal law. There is a free way to.verify that youre not on the do not sell list with the US Treasury. They use this as an excuse to get a kick back for every credit pull that is ran, and try to get your credit history into their database.

The salesperson committed to taking a thousand dollars off of MSRP...and then turned around and added another $2500 in destination fees. Shame on me for not noticing at the time (the destination fee was included). Classic bait and switch. Emailed the salesperson...no response. Filled out the Ford Survey....no response. Completed the follow-up survey and finally got an email from a customer service rep. to which I replied immediately...and then, again, nothing. I have given them every chance to contact me prior to posting this public review.

I visited the Koons Ford of Falls Church location about a month and half ago. I had an excellent experience with the staff members I came in contact with from the entrance where I was welcomed by Ms. Maria throughout my visit.My salesman was Russell Walker who was knowledgeable and patient with my indecisiveness in settling with a particular vehicle. He was great in explaining the difference between the trims of the Ford Bronco Sport.The bathroom was really clean and well maintained throughout my visit as I used it twice on that day.I talked to one of their manager whoses name is Mike G. if I remember well. He was courteous and helpful.Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend Koons Ford of Falls Church Virginia to anyone who is interested in have a wonderful experience with a dealership where the staff members are professionals and helpful!

I reply to an ad on Facebook and Pouya responded back to me and I was only asking questions about the 2019 challenger that night. I wasn’t pushing it and next thing that happen, was the 2019 Hellcat challenger was at my home waiting on me they drove the car 1 hour 30 mins to my place. Ladies, avoid this place. I knew exactly what make/model/year car I wanted, but they did not have the car in inventory (my fault for not calling ahead and relying on the website only). Instead, the salesmen mansplained that different models/makes/years were just as good and I repeatedly had to explain that I was not interested in what they were trying to get me to look at. This was the worst car buying experience of my entire life. Very unprofessional, poor communication from sales, finance and service. They took a down payment from us, then sold the same car again. Sold us a different car to make it right which the check engine light came on 3 days after purchase. I have called 5 different people since and NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALL. They even scheduled a service department for us without telling us. Im sure in hopes we would no show so it would look bad on us. Worst experience ever never ever buy here.

This is a bait and switch dealership. When you contact them about a vehicle they will say it is available and that to get the price they list online you need to meet all of the ford incentives. The problem is the Koons Savings is way more than the ford incentives so you will not be able to get that price. They will contact you multiple times to try to get you to come in so they can try to pressure you into buying a car at a higher price. If you question the price enough they will change it on their site. They have at least 10 vehicles on their site right now that are priced incorrectly to bait people in. If you have been scammed here and purchased a vehicle, please contact a lawyer as you maybe able to recoup some of the money they stole from you.

My experience was great to say the least so I will write this about the two guys I met so I can elaborate on the attitude of the guys that responded to me when I was at Koons. The first contact was this cool and easy going dude by the name HECTOR RODRIGUEZ. A friendly unassuming guy with just a happy kind of attitude, he was very helpful in his responses all the way till I got to the accounting folks and afterwards. So I wanna say thanks Hector. If you are ever there please look him up. He is a great guy. The second person was the business manager called JOE MESSINA. If he wasnt working at Koons he would make a great stand up comedian AND THATS ME BEING CONSERVATIVE IN MY ASSESSMENT. Many thanks guys.

We had a flat tire on our road trip from FL to CT while driving through DC and our insurance company towed us to this ford dealer. They were extremely busy, yet made time to fit us in and were so kind and helpful to two very stressed and exhausted travelers. We received a new tire and were out within an hour or so despite them being completely over booked with services. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, as their service department did all they could to help us and were so kind to us. I would recommend them to anyone.

NEVER service a car there!Dropped off a Lincoln Navigator for an electrical problem. No calls and No status updates. 9 phone calls and 4 voice messages over 5 days just to get a hold of a service advisor to tell me what they are doing! They just transfer you to VM and ignore the message. After 2 weeks, car is ready for pick up… I go to pick up and the exact same problem still there! No one bothered testing to see if what they did fixed the issue… What kind of technical skill or even oversight for quality control is that!Never in my life I have felt so helpless… I had to beg and plead to get someone to talk to me.Your business is really an inconvenience for this big dealership, it’s not a privilege.

I worked with Trevor and Arad and the entire experience was great.My one complaint that wouldnt really affect my 5 stars is that I wish they were better at updates or following up. I was on a time crunch and was worried about the timing of my trade in funds but in the end they came through and resolved the issue in less time than I anticipated.

I would give them zero stars, but it wont allow me to do so, awful customer service. I have purchased 6 vehicles from Koons. I currently have 3 Koons vehicles in my driveway. My daughters 2017 Ford Escape had paint chipping around the windshield at 300 miles over the 36,000 warranty. I called Ford and got approval to have the $514.09 repair done. I cant get Koons to call me back to get the repair done. This has been going on for over a year. I messaged them on Facebook and received numerous calls and text messages wanting to know if I was interested in purchasing a vehicle which was not the purpose of my call. I cant believe they would treat a person who has been buying cars from them since 1993 like this.

I normally don’t post reviews about anything. I actually had no intention of buying a vehicle from Koons. I was going to go elsewhere, but because I live within a mile of the dealer, I figured I’d pay them a visit and I wanted to see if the price was right. Honestly, I drove a hard bargain. I got just about everything thing I wanted, and I’m very satisfied with the Black 2020 Ford Edge Titanium I purchased and I get compliments from friends and family. I know Ford vehicles very well and this vehicle is a great product. But more importantly, the BD manager talked some sense into Ford Motor Credit when financing my vehicle as a loyal returning customer. So thanks for that, and thanks AB for your help.

ZERO STARS., but google wont let me...one of the most unethical dealerships I have ever tried to do business with. That says a lot being that its the car business. I found a car online because thats what people do nowadays. I got in contact with a salesperson. He pulled the car, look at it and said it was LIKE NEW, I have documentation of our conversation as proof. It only had 2,000 miles on it. I told him Im driving five hours one way, so please ensure he gives me an accurate description of the vehicle. He said no problem, I have been selling cars for 30 years and I want happy customers. I show up with a check and there is extensive HAIL damage to the car, UNDISCLOSED. I have emailed two members of management with no response. Next is to get in contact with the owner. My husband is active duty military and Im on chemotherapy with very little extra time on our hands to drive over 11 hours in one day and thats how they treat me and our uniformed service members. RUN!!! GO TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP IN THE AREA! By the way, I sold cars and our dealership never treated people this way. BUYER BEWARE!

We looked at a lot of places for the right vehicle. Koons Ford in falls church had a good selection (they keep a lot of vehicles off the lot) a couple of vehicles caught our eye. We ended up making a deal on one that included service and a warranty. The staff was always helpful, accomidating and I appeared to be honest. If I could give them less that 1, I would. I have always had my F-150 serviced at Ford dealerships and generally been very happy with the service. The service at Koons was atrocious and I will never go back. Unresponsive service writers, dropped phone calls, being stuck on hold, keeping the truck for an extended period without updates, confusion over location of the truck or the status, and overall poor service. I received a survey which I completed - No response. When the survey company inquired as to whether Koons responded, I indicated that they didnt and still no response. I received a call the other day trying to schedule more service and when I told them how unhappy I was with the last experience, they simply hung up. No apology, not even a goodbye - Just an abrupt hang up. Koons Ford clearly doesnt care about their customer service or experience at the service center.

On my birthday my car died. Nice gift! I have Ford roadside assistance. Called the number, tow truck was there within the hour. The driver was very, very helpful. Koons Falls Church was not the closest dealer. Sadly, a few years ago I had repeat less than stellar experiences at Ted Britt, where I bought my car. It was around 7 PM Friday night when we arrived. The tow driver was super nice, not only assisting with the car but also offering kindness and support. No one likes this situation. Then John was equally nice to me. He said technically theyre closed but he accommodated me 100%. He did everything he could to reassure me about the cost and procedures. Got in touch with him the next day. He didnt pressure me to get something I could not afford. He explained my options in such a way as not to make me feel uncomfortable. I am not an auto mechanic. Overall the experience went very well. Sadly I cannot say the same about at least one other area Ford dealer. Please recognize Johns outstanding performance. Im a department manager in the Giant up the street. You can teach the procedure but you cant teach honest care for your customers. Johns got it 100%.

I recently bought a used 2017 Ford Fusion from this location and only had it for about 2 months when unfortunately I had bad coolant intrusion and a cylinder 2 misfire. Thankfully to these guys at Ford, they were able to take my car in quick and replace my engine at no extra cost for me. John Bean was my service advisor and I couldn’t be happier with him. He was patient and transparent with what was going on during the repair process. Now that I have my car back, it’s driving very smooth and I couldn’t be more grateful at the time and effort these guys show not only to me; but, to every costumer that walks through their door.

As a first time car buyer- I’ve always been warned about salesmen. Tony flat out LIED to me about what I was receiving and finance didn’t seem to care.He rushed me through signing and pushed me out the door. Buyer beware. I was even warned about him from the guy who showed me the car. Do better.

I recently had a very negative experience with a salesman at Koons Ford in Falls Church when I stopped by to look at the new Broncos. I asked to test drive one and the salesman asked me if I was planning to buy one today. It went down hill from that moment. The salesman was very unprofessional and basically gave the impression that he did not care to help us if we were not going to buy one today. I did not realize that an immediate commitment was required to purchase a vehicle from Ford. I have purchased three other new Fords from Koons ford but they will be my last. Jerrys Ford it right down the road and I will give them a try on my next purchase.

Very bad experience, they tried to rip me off. I called in advance to check the new Ford Mustang mach-e and I was told over the phone that they had two cars available at the dealership,I booked appointment for the next day morning, went there test drove the car and I was ready to move forward with the purchase,here comes the best part of the story.They brought me the paper with the options to choose and the itemized price.I was shocked, the MSRP was $46895,sales tax was $3946 on top of the MSRP they added $10000 market adjustment because of the chip shortage and another $1850 transportation charge on top of the $1100 destination charge that was included on the msrp not mentioned here their $899 document fee the most expensive I ever seen.They brought the final price up to $67884 professional thieves trying to take advantage of the market situation, but this is not an honest business. I was able to get the same car in Maryland for the MSRP sales tax and $150 dealer fees so less than $50000.Shame on you Koons

Asked if they will ship it to Florida, Counter guy said yes but would need my address to get shipping quote! I said of course are you ready for my address… I got the deep sigh and he acted like this is way too much work for him to do on a $40 part.

Bought a 2016 Ford Edge because my 2012 Ford Focus broke down and I needed a new car quickly. Derrick helped me out and was great throughout the whole process. There wasnt any pressure in any direction to buy a particular car and he did his best to get me the best deal possible. Definitely would recommend Derrick to anyone who is interested in a car at Koons Falls Church. Once the decision was made and we settled on the price (with very cordial and friendly back and forth on the price), I worked with Dean in the finance office and he helped me get a great rate and a very substantial discount on a warranty package. Dean also was just a great guy and clearly had my best interest in mind. The process was long as is any car-buying process, but it was pleasant and overall really easy. The Edge has been great so far and it was a good deal, especially given how quickly I needed a car. Definitely would recommend Koons Falls Church as a whole, and for sure would recommend both Derrick and Dean.

HORRIBLE. HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS DEALERSHIP.Long story short, took the car in for a minor issue and not only did it not get fixed, but it came out worse than when I took it in.My 2011 Ford Explorer was running perfectly, but various warnings lights lit up when I switched into 4WD while at a low speed and 4WD stopped working afterwards.Took it to Koons and had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience. I described the problem and was promptly told I might need to buy a new car. What? They took the car into the shop and advised they would need to take out my modified air intake and replace with the stock Ford air intake, which would cost $1000. They could not explain at all what this had to do with my 4WD system and were disparaging about any questions I asked so I had them bring the car back out so I could get a second opinion. When they brought the car back out there were MORE WARNING LIGHTS on than when I brought it in and again, could not explain anything and were disparaging about any questions I had.Took it to Metro Motor in DC and they promptly identified the actual issue and fixed it quickly. I cant speak to anyone elses experience, but I will never take my Ford to this dealership again.

Russel was very helpful through the whole process and was willing to get me a great deal on the vehicle I wanted! Plus, the financial team made the process very simple and easy. Within a few hours I was off the lot in an awesome new Escape. Based on the deal I got here compared to some of the offers in my home state of PA, it was worth the drive! If I could give this dealership zero stars that would definitely be the rating!Customer service has been horrible since I purchased my SUV (Chevy Tahoe) and the service department never answers the phone or returns calls.My first issue started days after having the SUV when I had to return it to the dealership to have the rear suspension replaced (should have been noticed in the recent inspection), the steering column fixed because of squeaking (it still squeaks when turning the wheel), and the wireless charger was not working. I was told when I dropped my SUV off on a Friday that they would need to take it to the Chevy dealer to get the repairs fixed and someone would reach out to me by Monday of the following week. After several calls to the service department on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the following week to check the status of my SUV after being told that someone would reach out to me I had to demand a return call in order to get a response from Martin Jones that my truck was ready for pick up. Martin informed me that the dealership was able to fix all of the items except the wireless charger and that he would get back with me (stated in attached receipt) the following week in regards to the repair. It has been two weeks and I have not gotten a response from Martin.My second issue has been the money I have spent since I have owned the SUV (1 month). I have had to pay for tint to be removed ($54 receipt attached) due to a failed Maryland inspection even though the SUV was recently inspected in Virginia and passed (attached are a picture of the inspection sticker and failed Maryland inspection). Since I could never get a used car sales manager to answer the phone I called the salesperson who sold me the vehicle. Priscilla has been very helpful throughout this frustrating process and tried to get a manager on the phone but was told that they would not refund me the money for the tint on the windows because it passed a VA inspection (I guess I will have to call VA state police to handle the situation and Im sure that fine will be more than the $54 I was asking to be reimbursed).I have also had to spend $200 on a battery (receipt attached) after being stranded at a gas station because of a bad battery! I have paid a total of $254 since I had the vehicle and I havent even made a payment on it! I would advise anyone not to purchase from this location until the customer service is dramatically improved.
