I wanted some struts assembled and took the here because they said it would be ready the next day(Thurs). I call two days later(Fri) a they told me they forgot about them. Later that day I was informed that the bushings were missing and would need to be ordered. (This was my bad. I should has seen that) Now comes the holiday weekend so I loose time on that since the older went out on a Fri evening. Monday holiday. Wednesday comes and they inform me the parts all arrived that morning, but all the techs have gone home. Forgot about again it looks like. I finally got my struts the next day. A full week and a day after I dropped them off.I get that there were issues and parts that needed to be ordered. The issue I have is my order being forgotten about twice and not being communicated with. They tell me its because I didnt have an actual vehicle in the shop. Arent there work orders? I get trying to fit a small order between other larger issues, but forgotten. Or if they were too busy, tell me and Ill go elsewhere so we dont waste each others time.I gave it 2, just because everyone was polite and I actually did get my struts assembled. Otherwise I was very dissatisfied.Update: Ever since installing I have been hearing a clunk that I could not locate. Turns out the struts were assembled incorrectly as well. Both struts had a missing lower washer was allowing the upper locknut to bounce in the sleeve.

The entire staff are professional well organized and knowledgeable. They repaired my car and my wife’s car, stayed within their estimate, and got the job done right the first time. We needed to return and have my wife’s emergency brake readjusted after a brake job which they did at no extra charge. I would trust any of my vehicles to the guys at fix it forward auto. Theses guys are the best. Very reasonable and they kept us appraised of what was happening through the whole repair. We have a 1 Ton diesel truck and it’s older so because of the pandemic they had to get parts and we knew what was going on all the time. Got a flat tire fixed the same day I called and only took them about 20 minutes. John and Kevin were awesome to work with and everyone there was very friendly. They showed me the screw in the tire and let me know what the best move was to fix, it was cool to be a part of the process and hear about how it all works. Nice new building with a big waiting area, I would recommend Fix It Forward to anyone.

I was driving by and was intrigued by the name, so I looked them up and loved their mission.I took my car in for a simple oil change (I like to see how much extra stuff mechanics/dealerships try to sell me), but these guys were great. An excellent business model, and I had an great experience. The employee that I worked with (Mike?) was informative and helpful, offered to bring me the parts that needed replacing for me to see, and provided a printed copy of recommendations and pricing for some things that needed attention on my Subaru, and I was able to approve and decline the various services. I was there with my toddler, and the facility was well set up for families, with plants and seating, snacks and toys.

Service was very quick and the price was also exactly as quoted. They addressed some other issues they noticed but informed me it wasnt necessary to be done immediately and provided a quote for the issue. I didnt even have to move my seat back into position when my vehicle was finished.

I moved to Fargo about two months ago and needed and oil change pretty badly.I called around and couldnt believe the prices here in Fargo. I called Fix It Forward and found the best price around by a considerable amount.After making an appointment with them I heard nothing but good about them, and a little about their company being Christian operated.Something you could tell when you walked in the door. I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, and treated well all the time I was there.I was told how long it would take and they called me before that time was up.I went in with a bad tire and with the price of the oil change and the tire repair the total wasnt much more than what other places would have charged for just the oil change.I found my new regular place to go from now on.

Very friendly. I had a sporadic issue that couldnt be reproduced. They looked at and tested every possible thing to try to find the root cause. Issue is now resolved. They were great to work with and explained everything they were doing.

I enjoyed that they kept me updated on when they were able to get to my car maintenance. Also the system for choosing which maintenance items to approve or decline is modern compared to most shops I have been to. Above all I appreciated the honesty and not feeling like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible!

Mike was easy to work with. Gave us estimates before work was performed. When we came to pick up the vehicle,Mime went over everything and even told us about some other issue we had with the vehicle.

Put in for oil change and tire rotation, but knew we had something wrong with oil leaking. Got a call and was informed of issues and we gave go ahead for repairs. They also provided us a loaner car free of charge, which was incredibly helpful.Really like that they texted us all the information for the quote on parts and labor so that we could be aware of the cost in real time.When I went to pick up my car, they spent extra time discussing with me what had happened, what care would be needed for an older car, showed me maintenance steps.It sucked that my vehicle had an expensive fix, but we honestly appreciated the promptness, professionalism, and care that we were provided.

Everything was explained to me and I had the option to approve all repairs or not. Complete descriptions of everything that was wrong and why were given including (never ever seen this before but it was fantastic) video of how the wheel performed during a live test and why it was wobbling. I was also given a very detailed list of parts and repairs needed and what the cost would be for each. Everything was top notch and the staff was great, courteous and gave me a tour of the facility when I came to pick up the vehicle in South Fargo. I would HIGHLY recommend Fix it Forward!!

These guys are awesome!! I had been having issues with a check engine light and power limitations on my Chevy Duramax. After 3 trips to the local Chevy Dealer there was no solution in sight as they said they couldnt replicate the problem to fix it even though the light was still illuminated. The truck went into fail safe mode with power limiting as I was passing the shop so I turned around and went back to see if they could check it out. Although their diesel mechanic was on VC, Kevin, a manager there took the time to see if he could do anything for me. Within a few hours he had identified the problem, got the part from That same dealership and had me back on the road. No issues since!! Great job Kevin and the Team at Fix It Forward!! I have always had good experiences with Fix It Forward. They are highly knowledgeable and professional. I dropped my car off before leaving on a trip, and it was done by the time I got back. Very easy!

Not a bad shop in the FM area, I trust them the most because they are honest and own up to their mistakes if they make them. They told me my transmission cooler lines were bad, went and looked at it myself and found out that it was a fitting and not the lines. They had already sold me the parts but when I went back and told them they took the parts back and gave me a full refund as well as an apology. Very professional and nice about it. I definitely recommend going here as my bad experience is very rare, and when it did happen they were very nice about it and were willing to correct their mistake. Not a lot of shops do that so a lot of respect for these guys.

I had a water pump replaced and a leaky pinion seal replaced. To my knowledge, both repairs are satisfactory. I was pleased with the speed of repairs and that I was kept informed of progress.

Friday was our first experience with Fix it Forward, and we were very pleased with the service we were provided. The staff is professional, very knowledgeable and straight-forward as to not push something for repair that doesnt need fixing (like a lot of other places tend to do). They are also mindful of your time and do the best to get repairs and maintenance done in a timely manner. We love the new convenient southside location as well, since it is close to work! The cost of our services on Friday were very competitive (and even better) than what we have gotten in the past from other auto repair shops. We HIGHLY recommend this place and plan on taking all of our vehicles there for service from now on.

Justin at fix it forward did a great job on my truck. If you have a Raptor or an f150 he has to be the most knowledgeable mechanic in the area. I went in expecting to spend much less but was happy with the end result as he found some problems that could’ve resulted in a bad accident taking place had the repairs not taken place.

I have used fix it since they have opened. Matt is a great guy and my friend Justin (a tech there) is great at his job and makes sure Im always taken care of. I will always continue to use them as my shop of choice.As I have told others and will continue to tell others, I will pay the extra $$ to these guys if they quote me something that is a little higher than other local shops. They got me an appointment that fit my schedule, completed the job on time, gave me a complete report (before and after specs), and reported on the condition of several vehicle systems, including topping off some fluids (no extra charge). I highly recommend them for all of your vehicles mechanical needs.

Best mechanic in fargo hands down. I brought in a journey and a volvo and will continue to bring my volvo in for as long as I may live here. Theyve been completely transparent with me from the start. They dont try to upsell and even told me actively stuff that I didnt need so that I could save money. I completely recommend here and will continue to recommend here for as long as they stay honest. They charged me $100 for an electrical diagnosis and found that the reason my volvo was slipping and wouldnt accelerate is that my ac compressor blew a fuse. It was on the same fuse as my accelerator. Rather than giving me a quote for an entire new ac compressor and labor they unplugged the ac and moved the wire to a safe spot and replaced the fuse. They told me i wouldnt have ac but to bring it back if I wanted to get that working again. They are a bit more expensive for labor but well worth the money. 10/10

Kevin was amazing with helping me understand everything that was going on with my vehicle. They did everything they could to make sure my entire family is safe in our vehicle. Kevin showed us where the blockheater was and how to read our round dipstick at pickup when asked. He definately went above and beyond.

Friendly staff, listened to my concerns, and fixed my vehicle under budget.

I had previous work done which required removal of the fender liners. The screws were either not properly tightened or just became loose and fell out. I went by FIFAR and the screws were replaced and tightened. The repair was quick, no hassle and no charge. I recommend FIFAR.
