We have gone to Visionworks for a few years now - never had a problem and insurance paid for eye exam and glasses. This past visit, suddenly the eye exam was out-of-pocket. We didnt find this out until the time of the exam and were told we could be reimbursed. An absolute, downright lie, according to insurance. The eye doctor is not part of our network and somehow the glasses and eye exam are two separate entities. For those using insurance, just a heads-up to check immediately, before your exam, that the exam itself is covered. Weve had very good experiences before this and rated them 5 star, but with trust gone, we will never go back.

I picked my glasses up and the blue haired lady seemed to be totally annoyed by having to help me. The glasses fell right off and she did an adjustment that didn’t do anything. I just left. I came back a week later after not being able to wear the glasses. The manager did get them to stay up but kept lecturing me about bifocals. I have had bifocals for over 7 yrs there’s mo need to lecture me on them. I left the store about 1:00. I wore the glasses until I got home about 7 and had such a headache I wanted to throw up. I called back today and the manager was basically telling me it was my dr fault and to ho back to him. I called the corporate office number and after being on hold for more than 10 minutes I was basically told the same thing. I will drive hours to ho anywhere but VisionWorks next yr because now I have glasses I cannot use for the next yr.

I was very disappointed in the customer service that we received last night. We were at the store at about 5:30 PM (only 1 customer in the store at that time) and the lady working refused to let us in. She said We close in half an hour and I am the only one here. We told her we just wanting to look at glasses and her response was MMM, I dont think so. We have gotten our glasses there for years and have never had such horrible service. I dont know if Ill ever go back there. Needless, to say we will be making our purchase with a near by competitor who was welcoming and had excellent customer service.

After my exam no one approached me. The eye doctors receptionist was more helpful then the people working in the store. I had to go to them to ask questions beyond strange for new customer. Receive better customer service at fast food restaurant.

Visited Dr. Johnson for the first time yesterday after having seen the same eye doctor for 15+ years. I was blown away by the quality and care he put into my appointment. He was extremely helpful and listened carefully when I explained my eye care needs. One of the most affordable eye exams in town as well. Would highly reccomend Dr. Johnson to anyone!

I will start this by saying this was one of the best eye doctor experiences I have ever had. From the young lady, Emily, answering the phone to Dr. Johnson- they were all wonderful.I am traveling far from my home and had a contact mishap. On top of that, my prescription was expired. The folks here were able to see me immediately.I truly wish this was my local eye doctor.

I had an eye check-up done from Visionworks. The doctor and the staff are professional and makes you feel comfortable. It’s also cheaper to get your eyes checked here than most of the places in Fargo. Will definitely recommend, 5/5.

Hi, I just called this place by mistake. Trying to make sure my bill was paid. Didnt realize the mall had other eye care lens places. Looked up eye care in the mall on Google was the first thing to show up. Called it and was transferred to someone named Gabby in payments. She was very rude. And not friendly. And made me feel dumb because my family name was not in there system. And rudely was like there is other places in the mall you know. Well apparently I did not know thanks for the rude approach. You just lost a potential family of customers. If I could Id give it a half star. All it takes is a first impression and could really sour a person. Happy Friday. your non future customer.

I really prefer this place more than Sanfords eye place. At sanford I felt talked down to by the doctors, but here I feel comfortable asking questions. They let me have the time i needed to learn how to put contacts in. A much less intimidating experience at the mall than going to the hospital. I really like Visionworks.

These people have no empathy for people what so ever. My husband has an eye condition to where his vision is deteriorating so he needs his vision checked more often and needs glasses more often since his prescription changes pretty rapidly. There response was oh well too bad.........I wouldnt even give them one star but rating you have to give them something

One star is too many but cant enter no stars. Ive been there a couple times and had decent service, but I must not be a valuable customer. I rarely go to the mall but I stopped by on Tuesday 10-4-16 at 9:35 am because most retail locations are open at 9am. The mall was open and the overhead mesh gate was closed at Visionworks. I asked the two people working there if I could pick up my glasses that were supposedly in stock. They both told me No because they open at 10am. Poor service and Ill never go back.
