Every time I shop at Ulta the gals working the cash register are always so friendly, even when there’s lines of people. The workers out on the floor are always awesome too, and so helpful. There was a customer next to me who was being SO RUDE to the checkout girls about using a coupon (which the customer was in the wrong anyways, read the fine print…) so I just wanted to say thank you Fargo Ulta for always having such awesome staff!

Every single time the multiple times i go into this store the employees are ridiculously rude. I dont know if they think they’re better than their customers but they definitely don’t and won’t help you and act like you are the biggest inconvenience if you’re looking at products. Literally worst ulta experience ever every single time. I wish i could make multiple complaints.

My wife loves it. If it makes her happy I guess it makes me happy.

It was busy in there today, however Jessica came up to me and asked if I needed help. I did. She took the time to explain different skin care options and answered all my questions. She pointed out some moisturizers that fit the needs I had told her. I left a happy customer!

They did not have any of the perfumes I was looking for. Having said that, a worker was there to ask if I needed help within 5 minutes, helped me look and offered suggestions for alternate perfumes. Very helpful.

Beautiful, clean store. Walked in and was kindly greeted by a lovely associate named AMANDA, she was awesome! Im not a huge cosmetic user, so I had an extremely vague description of what I was looking for( color of the liquid and what the box kind of looked like) it took Amanda all of 5 sec give me a name and point me down the correct isle. Amazing young lady, she knows her stuff, even when the customer doesnt 😀. If you need help seek her out, shes cool af. Keep up the good work!!!

So I paid with a 100$ bill. I spent 45$. The lady gave me 3$ back. The manager came up, and still shorted me 10$$. Does anyone know basic math these days?

Expensive ..i went for hair glue ..finally after wandering thw store, I had to find an employee to help me to which she had little to no knoweldege of what I was looking for

I would even go e not even one (1) star. The hair salon stylists are terrible!! I wanted to have a nice curly hair and Hathaway the stylist did a terrible job! Paid $30’for something my 10 year old nice would do a better job. I was there previously and i got my roots done which ended up having blue strains of hair. I will stay away from this salon since this stylist dont know how to do hair!!!

Seems like my lady was sold on the more expensive lipstick and liner.

Ive only shopped here twice, as the last bad experience was enough for me. Its not like I cant find any of the products sold here and more online.I usually get skipped over by employees in Fargo, they will go right past me and ask others if they are finding everything ok, etc. Its not a surprise to me at this point.The last time I shopped there, I purchased the wrong shade of liner and didnt even walk out the door. Realized my error before walking out, turned around, picked up the correct shade and got back in line. I got the same salesperson who rung me up, and had previously stated that I didnt want to give out my email address. She insisted that to make a return, I HAD to give it to her, or else the return couldnt be processed which is absurd. In the car, I called their corporate number and was told that I didnt have to give out my email address for any reason, return, exchange etc. I filed a complaint, but dont know what came out of it.Ive worked in retail before, and I get that maybe the associates have to get a certain amount of email addresses a day, or maybe, for her ego, she just had to have her own way. Or maybe she she just didnt like how I look.I stopped shopping there that day, as their employees have no self respect and sense of customer service, in addition to being liars. And walk around with their noses up in the air.

Isabella did a fantastic job on my hair. I wasnt able to get to my normal hair stylist as I have been out of town for work. I was nervous having someone else cut my hair, but Isabella reassured me. She asked questions and made sure I was content with the final product. Highly recommended!

Love their products! However customer service can definitely improve. Other than that I love that they Carry a variety of brands! Also their sales are pretty awesome too! Always check that section for some good finds!

Looks like a really nice place. Maybe it was my stylist just having a bad day but it seems like I came out spending a lot more money and my hair was completely wrong. I spent 4 1/2 hrs $210 on hair that Im ashamed of.

I recently saw multiple videos on tiktok posted by @ztoria. In the videos, she takes multiple pieces of product from makeup to hair tools and discards in the trash. What this product is being discarded for, only your store obviously knows. I can’t help but wonder why this stuff couldn’t be donated to a woman’s shelter and repurposed in a better manner than discarded in the trash. It does not give a good image to your company or your staff. Ulta has lost my business as a consumer. I’ll buy my products elsewhere.

Ulta has been my favorite place to shop for makeup since 2011! Gabriel (I think thats his name) is always so friendly and helpful when looking at luxuary makeup! Suzie is amazing at the facials! Its a great team.

I just got my eyebrows done by Christine at the Benefit Brow Bar and I am loving the way they turned out.When I had any questions, she was able to answer them all and guided me to which products were best for me to use.I will definitely be going back in the future.

Just had a negative experience here :( an associate basically yelled at me for grabbing a tissue to wipe foundation off my hand. She rolled her eyes and acted as though my presence was interrupting her day. Very dissapointed.

They say they have stuff in stock in the website and you go to the store and they are sold out.

This place is okay, rather expensive and some of the associates wouldn’t help me or pointed me into the wrong direction. If you know what you’re going in for and where’s it’s located I would suggest this place. If you need help... try another place.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but i was in there for only 10-15 min and i had at least 6 girls walk up to me to see if i needed help. It was too much. I always expect at least one, but i declines further help and went on my way. I felt bombarded by employees. I’ll just shop online to get my points and shop in Sephora where they understand boundaries.

Employee in the store was very attentive showed her one picture and she found it right away!

They had the shampoo that my son uses on sale, so I ordered online to pickup in store. Went to the store and went to the order pickup counter - which happens to be next to the checkout counter. Watched the 5 working cashiers look at me and continue to checkout the next 4 people in line before coming over to assist me. I am thinking because I am a male and all the other people they helped before me were female was the reason I had to wait. I will not go there again and will make sure I tell everyone that they probably have a little bit of male discrimination going on there and I would not recommend them at all.

As a platinum member (soon to be diamond) I always experience excellent service. Staff are always willing to reccomend the perfect product for your needs. Not pushing you to purchase the newest product on the shelf. In my recent visit, Ashton the lead cashier went over the top to find the specific palette I was looking for. They didnt have it, so she helped me order it online. She was extremely friendly and professional! Love our Ulta!!!

I’ve always felt welcome at Ulta in Fargo and the team is knowledgeable and genuine. Just last week, I spoke to a gentleman who was able to find me a discontinued Urban Decay Naked powder foundation in my shade. He said “I knew this was saved for someone who needed it!” Thank you, Ulta team!

The employees are super nice and helpful whenever I go in, which is more often than I would like to admit. If I have questions about a product, there is always someone there to answer them. The store is always neat and clean which is appreciated!

Had a great customer service experience at Ulta yesterday. Jennifer & Samantha helped me and they were great. I’m so happy with the Lancôme Teinte Foundation & the silky translucent powder is THE BEST! I even got some new lip chemistry UD lipstick that I adore. Love the store and the staff is great but I wouldnt recommend getting your brows done here. The girl completely waxed the outter parts of my brows off twice. I havent gotten my brows done in 7 months as Im still trying to regrow them. Needless to say I looked ridiculous after I got them done there. It was my fault for giving them another chance to do them right.

Staff are so helpful. I needed a specific product, she helped me search for the right color match and taught me how to apply it.

I spend ALOT of money on beauty products, and have been shopping at Ulta for many years. Started at the stores in Minneapolis. So excited when Fargo finally got one and the original manager Tanya was amazing! ! Since she left to run the store in her hometown in South Dakota this store has gone to he-- in a hurry! Store is dirty and cluttered, bathrooms are always filthy. Then theres the abundance of rude, disrespectful, and self absorbed employees throughout the store. Always more involved in deep conversations with coworkers about what they did out on the town last night rather than give any genuine customer service. I blame the manager for ALL of these issues. The employees and stores over all appearance reflect solely on them! I will shop at Ulta s competitor from now on Sephora! Clean up your store Ulta Literally!!! Starting with the top and working your way down the ladder.

Kim is the woman to see! I am prone to breakouts, dry, sensitive, and oily skin, and she helped me find the makeup perfect for me and my skin tone, specifically with IT cosmetics. I love makeup. The service has improved since a few months ago... hopefully in not speaking too soon.

The staff is friendly, and ask if you need help. The issue is if you say yes its about a 50/50 shot if youll get genuine help. Some people really do like to help. Others seem like they just want the day to be over which I understand. Ive worked in the Mall of America and West Acres, and I never want to work retail in Fargo ever again.Although, I find it unprofessional to work in the beauty section and not apply the makeup on the customer yourself (as the employee) especially when assisting a customer who asks for a color match. I may have encountered someone who wasnt trained on how to apply makeup, but then in that instance they should have found someone with the proper know how rather than try to walk away and out of the conversation.

Honestly this store has some of the best service and by far the most kick ass manager you can really tell she cares about her job and making sure all the customers are happy and well taken care of I believe her name was Kayla

Great selection, nice store. Their sales, however, are confusing. Ive been shopping at Ulta for about 5 years. I leave each time frustrated as most of my purchases end up not up not qualifying for the sale at the register. Will no longer be shopping at Ulta. Just not worth the hastle.

Warning is so easy to overspend .You have great helpful staff .For those of you on a budget bring only cash cause its easy to put it on a card .But I love this place .Very helpful when I was asking about eyebrows showed me a lot of different choices .Rock on .

Would have given it 1 star if it wasn’t for the kaitlyn doing my eyebrows flawlessly. The bathrooms were atrocious! The waste bin was over flowing with pads and tampons at 10:30 in the morning. When I told someone about it her response was that the cleaning person doesn’t come on weekends? So... they didn’t come Thursday either? And no one here is capable of changing the garbage? Absolutely disgusting.

I seriously love this Ulta so much! The employee who helped me out was so helpful and friendly! She helped me find the moisturizer I wanted and then offered me a couple free samples that go with them. The store itself is organized and well stocked. The employees go above and beyond to help out the customers with any questions, and they are seriously so knowledgeable about the products. Ulta also offers tons of good deals, like $10 off the new Tarte pallette, and they often have free gifts with purchase. You get much more for your money than at Sephora.

Store is way too cramped to comfortably shop and not feel like youre always in someones way. Not a fan of its layout at all.
