Dont expect to have your work completed correctly or in anything approaching a timely manner. No matter who you speak with, they will tell you exactly what you want to hear in order to get your business and then youll never hear from them again unless you go there in person. No updates, even when specifically asked, no answers when called, no returned calls when messages are left. When you do get a hold of them, they are rude and the manager hung up on me when he couldnt give me a straight answer.When I got a hold of the estimator to request a status, I was told, It will be complete next week, and when I called for a status the following week, I got the same answers and the estimator denied telling me that it would be completed on time as well as denied telling me they would repair the steering. Due to her rudeness, I refused deal with her any further.When I was told the work had been completed, I went over what was wrong with the manager and he told me that he would fix the problems with the paint and talk to the insurance company about the steering and get back to me the following day. I called again 8 days later the manager was rude to me and once again denied telling me that he said he would make sure the paint was corrected. I have been 2 months in this process with no end in sight.Long story short, if you want to be treated well, have your vehicle repaired correctly or by any sort of deadline, avoid this body shop. They dont care about their customers and will lie through their teeth to get you to leave so they can find more ways to squeeze money out of your insurance company.

After a collision with a deer my insurance recommended this guaranteed shop. They did a good job with the visible body work. But used a defective after market part. It was made right and overall I am satisfied with the work.

I was very pleased with my experience. I was rear-ended and needed repairs. They completed the work in a timely fashion, were responsive to my calls, friendly and kept me in the loop on their own, as well, with phone call updates. What I was most impressed with was the condition my car came back to me into . Not only were the repairs fixed nicely, but they had washed my car and cleaned the inside beautifully. I had the entire quarter panel replaced on my F-150. Suburban Collision did a great job in a relatively timely manner. My truck came back in better shape than it was before the accident. I would recommend 10/10.

Some of the repairs actually appear better than the factory finish to our grand cherokee. No return visits and repairs were under way as soon as parts were available. Our agent was knowledgeable and advocated needed replacement of parts that were not evident to the naked eye with our insurance company.

Less than 2 weeks turned into over a month.. zero updates on vehicle, no calls from manager claiming he didn’t want to give me more bad news. I understand things change when you get into a project, but let the customer know! Didn’t tell me I could pick up vehicle until 5 on Friday, they close at 6 and are unavailable on weekends. Customer comes 1st is not in there wheelhouse, very disappointing as I chose this center based on where I bought my truck at the Farmington Suburban dealership which is amazing. I will not be dealing with them in the future.

Got in an accident with the wifes car and Suburban repaired it like new. Kevin at the shop kept me updated throughout the process, sending me daily emails, and when the car was ready even sent a shuttle to pick me up-20 miles away. Would highly recommend their service.

Kevin did an amazing job helping me with my car! He called me with updates on the car as it was getting fixed, and when I had another issue after they returned my car, he made sure that issue would get fixed also and that my insurance would cover everything. Just took my 2019 Jeep JL to Suburban after a front-end collision. Jeff took great care of us. He was always quick to answer a phone call, he was great about keeping us updated, and the whole Suburban team worked very hard to get my vehicle back to me ASAP despite Progressives ineptitude and foot-dragging. Yes without a doubt this collision shop is the best. Since my last review I was hit again. This time in the front of the car, I immediately called Jerry at Suburban Collision to make arrangements. One of my doors would not open but a crack. The car was returned in perfect shape. The paint the door all of it. Jerry took the time to explain the work done and the whys. My vehicle has been at their facility for over 2.5 months, and every completion date communicated to both myself and the insurance company has been changed. It started with 2 weeks, to numerous excuses as to why my car is not ready. This is getting very frustrating as well as a huge inconvenience for my family and I. Ive never had to deal with this type of unsatisfactory car service in my entire life!FYI... I still dont have my car, and when I asked for a loaner for the inconvenience, they claim that they couldnt give me one... SMH

Do not understand some of the negative reviews. My husband and I have used Suburban Collision for many years and have been more than satisfied with their care and workmanship. Rick Osgood treats you like you are Special. He is very professional, keeps you informed as to progress of the repairs to your car and returns your phone calls. All in all, my husband and I are completely happy with their work.

My insurance company recommended this collision shop and I felt they communicated well and were polite and professional. They were a little slow and returning my calls (a couple of days which may reflect the work load at the time) but once on the case, were responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, my care ended up totaled so I cannot speak to work quality, only interactions. They did clean my car out for me and hold my things for me to come. Overall, cant complain.

Very unprofessional and unresponsibleMy car had the tire caps stolen while being kept within the confine of their own secured area. They denied responsibility for that and they said that anyone cam jump over the fence and steel whatever!!If that’s your notion, then why would you charge storage fees for keeping cars there if you are unable to maintain the security there!

Rick is on top of his game. He has impressed with his communication skills. My insurance company is terrible at communication and but Rick has answered every time I have called and been very helpful. Hes made a stressful situation easier to deal with.

My cars parts got stolen while being overnight there, and they have no surveillance cameras (they do charge storage fees though).The workers said they are not responsible ! The police department has been called and they said all what you can do is to take it to the small claim court but unlikely to get any benefits from that since they dont have surveillance camerasBeware from dealing with this gang

While the minor repair appears fine, the customer service and timeliness was worse than poor. This was not my first bad experience there. I had used this company a number of years ago, and had a poor experience. I manage a fleet of vehicles for my business. Suburban Collision of Farmington Hills is only two miles from my business and one mile from my home. After the poor experience some years ago, we did not go back and found an excellent repair shop called City Body in Ypsilanti. Unfortunately, it was a long drive, so I thought it was worth a retry after a number of years. This was a small cash repair with no insurance involvement, and still they could not meet deadlines and the same Damage Consultant I had several years back, was just as evasive and non-responsive to calls and commitments made as he was then. He was also belligerent when pressured to meet his third unmet due time and date and had the audacity to call me a liar and hang up on me. Lesson learned, will not return there.

They did a fantastic job with my car. Needed my front bumper replaced and had a very deep dent above my right rear wheel well. Instead of replacing the very big and expensive panel, they repaired it. It looks brand new; like it never happened. With how bad it was, I expected to be able to see some minor damage left over, but it was flawless.They called me several times to give me updates and time estimates. It took two weeks, but that wasnt a problem for me.

By far the worst experience I have ever had in getting a car fixed. Original estimate of 4 weeks became 10, absolutely no accountability from their representatives for anything through the entire process. Good luck on getting them to call you back as they routinely do not return calls and when they the typical response I would get from them was they were doing me a favor taking my money to fix my car. If you care about your car or service youll receive I would strongly suggest going someplace else.

I went to get an estimate on Monday. It is now Friday. I called my insurance company and they had not received the estimate yet. I called Fischers and they had no recollection of my estimate. Somebody did my estimate. I asked them if they could ask the guy who did my estimate where it was, but they said I will need to bring it back in for another estimate. Next time, I will remember to get a copy of the estimate.

I sent my 2014 Chrysler 300C to this collision shop through my insurance company, AAA, as it was one of their approved shops.Ive seen bad body work and Ive seen bad paint jobs in the past but when I saw my car, after I was called to come and pick it up, I knew I was looking at both bad workmanship and a bad paint job. It was unbelievably terrible. They had to re-do all the repair work that they did. When I was called for the second time to pickup my car, there was still more corrective work not done yet. I had to leave it with them one more time to correct these deficiencies. . . Backyard Mechanics

DO NOT GO!!!!!They will try to fool you!1. The price of their parts are way higher than the market price, for example, the OEM rock bar on my wrangler is about $350/pair, they sell only the left side bar to my insurance for $475.2. They use used parts, the tire they try to put on my car is different from my original tire and it is used! It’s not only normally used, it’s used for off road purpose so it looks new on the center but badly worn out on the side of the tire(you need to lower the tire pressure when off-roading, and that will cause this kind of wear to the tire)3. They “forget” to change some of the expensive but not badly damaged parts, as mentioned above, the rock bar is expensive and they “forgot” to change it.4. They are slow! It takes them 3 weeks to change just the rock bar, wheel and a plastic bumper, no painting! And since they “forgot” to change the rock bar and changed the used tire to my car, I have to go back again after the 3-weeks waiting.Save your money and time, DO NOT GO!!!!!

I am debating on rather I should write a review or not for this establishment because my experience here has been less then worthy of any type of review.....I will wait until my car gets back from the dealership....since this is the third time I have taken it to them since I got it back from suburban collision and this will be the third time the dealership has to fix what you should have done the first time aroundUPDATE: This shop has put me through the worst experience I have ever had. They literally released my vehicle without doing any maintenance on it, I have had to take it to the dealership now on 5 separate occasions because of their lack of follow through.I held up my end of the contract by paying you, but you literally knew I was on a military training deployment and could not inspect your work and you took advantage of that.So heres my recommendation for anyone looking for a collision shop.Suburban collision of Farmington hills is not worth it and is by far the worst shop I have ever used. Please dont waste your time and money like I did....find somewhere else to go!!!Fyi: the fact that they had the vehicle from October 2017 to the end of January 2018 make this worse

Repaired my car for a rear end collision with extensive damage. They gave me an estimated time of completion and met the deadline. The repair job was great, Im happy with the service.

The work on my car was done reasonably well, however the job was quoted as 2 weeks and it took 3.5 weeks before finished. None of this was communicated to me until I called to ask why it was taking so long. While my car was under the shops care, some dirt ball decided to go shopping inside my car and stole my ipod and a few other items. I would recommend finding another shop to do your collision repairs.

Used to be Fischer Body and back then I was really impressed as not only did they do a great repair after my Accord was rear ended, but they also thoroughly cleaned inside and out - Great job! Unfortunately I had two cars in for repair within two weeks of each other. Both took far longer to repair than I thought they would. One going to a full 30 days and the second pretty close. Both times I took a $4 hit on rental per day over my allowance. The repair work was fine however, pretty much everything else was sub-par from them failing to call back when they said they would to the exterior of the cars not being clean and finger prints on the inside door pillar on one of them. Their associates even came across as having a degree of arrogance. Bottom line; took way too long, lack of customer service, poor attention to detail such as cleaning the car exterior. Compared with the old company like night and day. Next time I’ll find somewhere else.

Takes forever to repair your car. Never call you to update you. I recently took my car there, where it sat for 1 week, allegedly waiting for my insurance company to approve repairs. Just spoke with my insurance company and the shop never called them. Complete liars. Take your car elsewhere.

Im really surprised by the other reviews for Suburban Collision Center as my experience was terrific.Normally I do my own work because I enjoy DIYing, however there are some things a DIYer cant do without specialized and very expensive equipment, so a professional needs to be called. After calling several shops and speaking with them about the tweaked frame on my classic Porsche (85 928S aka Big Red), I decided to go with Suburban Collision. I went with Suburban Collision not because they were the cheapest, but because they seemed to be the most knowledgeable. I had another quote for almost 30% cheaper from another shop, but after speaking with their frame guy I didnt feel confident he could do the job correctly. Todd, the frame guru at Suburban Collision is very knowledgeable and is very passionate about cars which gave me the confidence that they could do the job right. I sure wasnt disappointed when it came time to pick the car up! Todd did a phenomenal job on my car and was able to go above and beyond my expectations. I was really impressed with Todds knowledge and how detailed oriented he is. The car came out great and the price was very reasonable. Thanks again Todd!Chris and Duane were also key guys in making sure everything went smooth. Duane is old school Porsche and has been around since the 924 days and his knowledge in these older Porsches is impressive. Duane also donated some fender tape to Big Reds cause.
