Finance Mgr lied... told us he would only run our credit at a couple places.... after not buying from them I returned home and was alerted by credit agencies HE RAN OUR CREDIT THROUGH 11 DIFFERENT PLACES! NEVER AGAIN! After posting this review I spoke to owner Mac. Would like to thank him for responding in a timely manner. Guess we will wait ans see if what he said will happen next month. Will repost and apologize if he is correct!

I use Farmington Ford for most of the work done on my 1999 F350. Recently they replaced some front suspension components along with a rebuilt steering box as the steering was getting sloppy. The work was done professionally and the price was competitive. Steering is nice and tight now. They replaced minimal parts and did not replace a sway bar that i thought needed replacing. They could have replaced the sway bar and charged me more. They did not. Like i said, they are professional and trustworthy. Whats not to like.

Customer service is horrible. When my wife walked in the door the guy looked at her, turned his back right in front of her, leaned up against the counter and continued talking to another employee for three minutes. Yes she timed him. Then he was just unfriendly. They were supposed to do rear brakes, oil change and inspection, and they called and said the air filter was dirty. Fine. But the hourly rate for the brake job, I can only guess because they don’t itemize the labor time on the receipt, was $169.99!! The entire rear brake job was almost $500!! The oil change was $82!! The air filter was $55!! And then they proceeded to add on a ‘Ford recommended multi-point inspection’ for $10, that we never asked for, on top of the state inspection. It’s the principal. $10 of a $705 bill is nothing, but it all adds up. The last time she went there they sent her keys with another customer to Rangeley, along with his keys, for 24 hours! Before that, she went there three times for a warranty issue with the radio and info system turning off randomly. On the third time, they just installed an update. This couldn’t have been done the first time?? These guys are completely incompetent. We will never do business with this dealership again, and I I will do my best to spread the word and make sure no one else does either. But I do want to thank them for inviting me to write this review!

I bought this truck,thi king it was a great deal,after looking truck over damage to front bumper, called and they did not to take care of it,also paid 48000 for this truck did not even get front mats,I feel they were not honest about this truck! No happy.

Service personnel John was extremely rude when I called about a question of a transmission problem. He was arrogant and snappy along with just plain rude. Gave the impression of that just crawled out of bed not liking the world vibe. Make it seem like it was an inconvenience that we asked for advice. Being one of the only ford dealerships nearby this behavior really is making me consider traveling when I get my vehicle serviced.
Had problems with rear wiper blade scratching window. Ford eventually replaced the entire rear window when it couldnt easily be buffed out. AND I now have a rear window wiper that works with a clear windshield to look through again. Thank you !!!!

I asked for the scratch to be fixed on the back and they didn’t say a word to my husband about it. It seems expensive for a tire rotation which should be free considering I purchased the car here.

Posting a little late, but I had an absolute horrible experience with the service department at Farmington Ford, around Christmas time of last year. Just lie after lie when contacting them about updates. The car was dropped off for a warranty repair of the AC condenser and while it was there I asked for an oil change, an alignment, I asked them to break down and check all the tires and find out why a couple had been slowly leaking since we bought the car (which was also bought from them) and finally to have them rotate the tires. If they are to be believed my car had 3 alignments while it was there for the few weeks it was in for the work. Each time I called I got a different guy and each one gave me the obviously canned response that it just came off the alignment rack. I questioned them on this after hearing it the second time and he was obviously caught off guard and stammered for a response when I asked why it had a 2nd alignment, because there really was no reason for a 2nd alignment other than it was a just a response they gave to make it sound like they were working on the car. The last guy, that called to tell me the service was done, claimed he was watching it come off the rack as we were talking (which would make for the supposed 3rd alignment), yet after talking to a buddy that worked in service at Farmington told me you cant see the alignment rack from where the guy was talking to me. The reason I write now is that I just brought the car into Rowe Auburn, at the end of September, for an oil change and inspection and all 4 tires failed and they found the alignment was completely out of whack. So either Farmington lied and did no alignments or did 3 bad ones. Farmington has an out here where we put on over 10k miles since the service, so they will blame the roads, but even with that info Rowe didnt think that would explain how far out it was and also said the steering wheel hadnt been centered properly.That all just addresses the alignment BS; the other issue was it took them 3 tries to get the tires to stop leaking after they broke them all down. I dont even think they broke them down while it was there in the first place or even rotated them. Within a day or two of getting it back the same two tires were still leaking as they were before the service. When I called to question this I was told there was apparently confusion between 2 different service techs ( I guess both thinking the other guy did the work). It was so bad and they knew it that they actually sent someone to pick the car up 2 times and even after all that 2 tires still leaked, but I was done with them and just kept topping them off up until we just replaced them at Rowe. During all this they kept trying to blame it on temperature swings, but these tires were losing 20+ lbs over night, going visibly flat and not coming back when the temp warmed. There is a lot more to it and I took lots of pictures as proof at different times of the day and of the tire pressure screen. It was just absolutely ridiculous. I had to escalate this to the top managers to get anything close to resembling satisfactory results. The shop manager was nearing outright hostility over the phone, with me, when it was all issues due to their own incompetence. Seriously a dealership that cant even make a tire not leak...kind of gives me pause about other major work.Unfortunately, they scammed me into their in house extended warranty so if I have major warranty work it will be a hassle going elsewhere. It looks like I may be stuck going back to them, for major work, until it runs out or we trade the car. I will never buy another vehicle from this shameful excuse of a dealership. My buddy I mentioned is the only reason I purchased the car from these guys as he told me the new owners seemed decent, but he quit afterwards and then when I had my nightmare experience told me how messed up this place ended up being. I just wish he found all this out before I bought the car.TLDR; Stay far far away from Farmington Ford.Bob
Had an unfortunate occurrence happen with then a few weeks ago and after talking with the manager and explaining what took place and along with my feeling they took the liberty of correcting what happened. I am very happy that someone took the time to hear what happened. Admitting I was in the heat of the moment upset they took the time to work with me and come with a fixable solution so thank you to famrington ford for doing that. Very much appreciated.

Received a quote on a repair including labor, when I got the bill, was told quote was only for parts, was almost double what I was quoted! Make sure you get a quote in writing! Manager worked with me on price, which i appreciate but still paid $1000 more than quoted! Unhappy that quote was not accurate and service person Jon was rude!

Battery went dead. Had it towed to the Ford garage . They found the problem, but instead of calling us or tightening the bolt (after traveling 3000 miles it loosen up). It was a battery disconnect that was put on so as not to kill the battery. They just took it out without notifying us first. And charged us $200. Now we have to have it put back in before we tow it .
