39 years old and was a bit intimidated to get my first board in 20+ years.. Basically a total beginner, now. Guy in shop helped me pick a 8.39 Baker board, thunder trucks, and set me up with some cruiser wheels so I can get comfortable rolling around. Service was great! It ended up costing about 30 bucks more than I expected and the receipt isnt itemized so Im not exactly sure what I spent extra on. That said, Im happy to support a local shop!

This is the best place to go . We didnt know much about skateboards but my kid wanted to see if he could fix an old board we got from someone. Ashen was so helpful and took his time explaining things. He tried fixing it though it was beyond repair. It even got to be a few minutes to 8 (closing time) and he said dont worry take your time. Their prices are great, too.

I took my son to get a skate board the guy that helped us was super amazing!!! He was very honest and helpful... Needless to say i have a very happy son who is 100% satisfied with his board!!! I highly recommend them we will definitely be back!!!

Great shop! We were stuck with a solution to our 6 yrs old son who wanted to start skating. Rob helped us through and we are very happy. Warm personality, never pushy, just so happy that a shop like Plus exists in the area. Enjoyed a chat about the early 90s scene as well! :)

The place is great. When I wanted to get a toy machine deck they didn’t have one but they ordered one for me. I also got my first deck there since I just started skating about 2 months ago

Aside from having an excellent shop with great, knowledgeable employees, Plus understands the community. From running summer camps to hosting competitions and working to develop new parks, Rob and his crew are doing wonderful work for metro Detroit.

I got a 200$ longboard and found out How terrible it was so I check online And the brand that made it with selling it for 50 the whole board everything was the same I told them how I was just disspleased with it and they didnt do anything about it

The shop has a great selection and has the feel of a true skate shop. Im not a skater myself however when my nephews are in from Chicago, this is the place we go. Rob and his staff are personable and know their trade. He also runs a skate camp every year for young kids ages 5 and up. My nephews come into to town just for this camp because it rates so high on their scale of awesome. If you want your kids to think your in the know then take them here....theyll be impressed that Mom or Dad knew where to find such a cool shop.

By far my favorite skate shop in all of MI. Friendly staff, great stock of shoes/clothes/boards. Highly recommend visiting the store.

Great Guy. Super Hospitality! I came in with a friend. The owner is connect four state champion. I challenged him to a few games and was unsuccessful. It was a very chill shop though!

My son skateboards and loves going here. His first time in they made him feel welcomed and a part of being a skateboarder.The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Bought a plus skateboard for myself there today. I didnt know much about boards when I walked in there. The guy who helped me didnt push me into a more expensive board than I needed and was very helpful. My plus board rides very nice so far

Plus has been a staple in the community for many years now. The store itself is down a set of nice artistically painted stairs with similarly painted walls that make the entrance unique and welcoming. Inside the store is filled with everything skateboard related and the environment is cozy and casual. Employees are always nice and knowledgable and you get to know everybody there pretty quickly. PLUS decks are the best, they ride great and the art is always amazing. Clothes and shoe stock is impressive. Easily the best place to get Nike SBs.The owner is an awesome guy that gives back to the community and helped get the states best free outdoor cement skate park built just a few miles away in Farmington Hills.
