Had been nice enough until recently, although deliveries have been inconsistent due to them not having enough supply to fill the order we placed. But now… Without notice, switched us to a delivery every 8 weeks, for the same amount of oxygen that was barely lasting only two weeks. Changed the delivery day on us as well, without notice. (Some of us work) Then proceeded to say, we could go in and pick up what we need for the interim at their office an hour away from our home. How does anyone fit that many oxygen tanks in their home and/or car? And how do you feel fine, leaving an infant in a situation like this?Will be switching providers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company doesn’t provide information for billing, supplies, or anything else. They are next to impossible to reach, wait times are upwards of 40 minutes to speak to someone, their automated menu system doesn’t work. Ie. I put in date of birth 6 times this AM. The system read back correctly what I had submitted, then told me try again instead of transferring me. This is typical of ALL my dealings with Apria If you want to ruin your day, call Apria.

I too had a miserable experience with Apria. I saw a Pulmonologist in June who ordered a sleep study. It took 10 days for that to be done, by an Apria associate in my town. because the orders kept getting lost. After seeing the sleep study the Dr ordered oxygen added to my C-pap., Then I was contacted three times by associates saying I Couldnt have oxygen UNTIL a sleep study was done. for a month there were calls from Apria requesting my insurance, which had been taken by the local associate. Then after five weeks I was told I needed a new sleep study because the earlier one was expired. Then I did another sleep study and after SIX WEEKS of phone calls and me getting lividly angry the local associate finally delivered my oxygen.Apria has a lot of associates but it seems the right hand never knows what the left hand is up to. Apria is one of two medical supply stores in my town and the other is EVEN WORSE. So I am getting my cpap supplies from Apria.

I had a miserable experience at this place. I needed a nebulizer for my sons condition. We were out of the doctors office at 10am and was under instruction to administer his medication by 1pm. The papers were faxed to Apria. We went there immediately and they informed us how theyve got to handle some paper work and will give us a call when its ready. Well 12 o clock rolled around, and my cynical everyone-in-healthcare-is-incompetent side said I better start making some phone calls. 45 minutes of playing musical representatives on the phone later, I finally got the go ahead to pickup my nebulizer. I show up there and met some other patrons that have been sending their phone calls into a black hole and needed to speak to a respiratory specialist. They had to resort arriving to their facility and demanding to speak to someone because theyve waited long enough (3 days). I finally got the equipment I needed by and managed to give the medication to my son at 2:30 pm. My infant son screamed, cried, and suffered an hour and a half longer because he was having difficulty breathing.I went to work the next day and shared my experience with my co-workers. As soon as I mentioned Apria they groaned and instantly knew that they were about to hear another lost customer complain about a miserable experience. Needless to say I will never deal with them again.
